I'm not sure how to apply a metric to that, but I would argue saying that I see at least a couple of these a week would be on the low end (And that doesn't include the builds that I'm running because I imagine you're going to argue those not counting for whatever reason). Keep in mind some of these builds might be more common in one area of play than another. For example the Glacial Neeko was fairly common in Professional Play (though I do frequently see it in my games as well) and some builds are more common on ARAM than on Summoner's Rift, at least from the small sample size that is my games played per patch vs the games everyone plays per patch. I will say I've seen each of those builds that I listed at least once during this Season (except for AD Ahri which I haven't seen since the middle of Season 8) in one of my games personally, but I'm sure it exists elsewhere.

: The Riot Games Balance team does not care about you or your feedback.
Imagine thinking the patch right before worlds (the one that has always been near exclusively for pro play) being (surprise surprise) mainly balancing for professional play is a new concept.
: This game is absolute trash for the last 3 years
Not to discount your statements necessarily, but generally speaking low level smurf accounts are populated by rather toxic people who just had their account banned or are playing vs lower ELO players because they're looking to flex on them. Might slightly affect the statistics you gathered depending upon what level your account was at when you were observing.
: We need this music in champion select again
I personally play this music for myself while I'm in champ select. Very old music :)
: Why do you keep playing this game?
I have fun playing League: I enjoy the world, the characters, the lore, the pro scene hype, ranking up, playing with friends for free, the nostalgia (I've played this game for nearly a decade now), really just everything. Sure there's toxic players but that's just human. It's not like I won't find toxic players in other games so that's not really a deterring factor for me (plus I can basically negate them by queueing with positive players and by muting people who are toxic).

: Who else enjoys "League of 15 Champs" as much as me this season?
> Never had such an onesided and unhealthy season like this season where always the same champs are played. Going to have to disagree with that, there's been meta champions basically since League's release. Pretty much the only time there wasn't a widespread meta was the very start of Season 2 and before (go back and study up on previous seasons and you'll see there's plenty of champs that have been meta, like Kassadin in Season 4 for example).
: [Gameplay Update] Aurelion Sol, The Star Forger
I'd be interested in this being explored, even if there are still possibly some issues with the kit.
: Zyra ult cost changed to 100 mana at all levels, 3-4 champs left to go
I haven't had mana issues with any one of those champs besides Zilean and Twisted Fate in awhile. I guess this is QoL but I don't mind this balancing system being in place because it doesn't really punish you if you build proper items for those champions It's also why Malphite has a high mana cost on most of his abilities: it's to encourage him to get more items that have lots of mana, which are typically either strong armor or ability power items, both of which he scales well on :)

Prefacing everything with "I'd imagine" is an indication that we're not getting real information. Bazkera (to our knowledge) isn't part of the Clash team so the repeated "I imagine" comments are only logical inferences because they don't know either. Not every Rioter is involved with everything and anything going on at Riot.

: Galio is the Perfect Example of Modern League
> Pick a side and stick with it. This isn't making anyone happy anymore. One of my favorite things about League is the struggle of balancing champions between the multiple pools of skill levels throughout the League playerbase (Low ELO, High ELO, Professional Play, etc). I'm not going to say it isn't a problem (Galio has had this problem ever since he was reworked and he's not a unique case by any means) but I appreciate that League's balance feels different than other MOBAs due to the unique needs that attempting to balance for multiple skill groups calls for. I'd rather see continuous iterations on champions until they feel right rather than taking a 50/50 shot that any given champion will be intended for you to play at your skill level or not. (Also, some champions have historically been balanced with more weight given to certain skill pools. Yorick for example has seen pro play but is often nerfed soon afterward to maintain the health of Low ELO play (though the changes to Yorick's maiden seemingly helped curb this a bit). Azir typically has been balanced more around the pros than the Iron II players you mentioned from what I've observed. Even still most champions typically hold a fairly decent winrate (45-55% or so) in most skill pools with enough data to be reliable, which I find to be impressive.)
: should i return to league?
If League was truly frustrating for you I'd recommend a different game to preserve your mental and physical health. That being said if you're fine with muting everyone and unbinding your message sending key so that you can play the game then I'd say give League another shot. :)
Glory97 (EUW)
: As a veteran player, I feel treated like garbage by riot games.
> -Matchmaking is terrible. It's designed in a way to prevent loosing or winning streaks, to do its utmost to prevent new players from getting bored or frustrated, while sacrificing the gameplay experience of veteran players, that have a competitive spirit, looking the climb ranks. Yet people climb ranks every season. No algorithm is perfect (and I'm not going to say Riot's is as close as we have to perfect) but I wouldn't say it forces you to hold a 50% winrate. Generally speaking over a large sample of games you will have a positive winrate if you are a skilled enough player, as games consistently being 50/50's probably indicates that you're close to around your skill level. Some games do feel unfair when you have an AFK player or someone who flames their team a lot, but that's not something the algorithm can account for and it's something Riot Support will take care of as soon as the report reaches them. > -Riot games replaced the old client with a terrible excuse of a new one. The new client is only usefull in having appealing visuals and some fancy animations that may be flashy for somebody seeing the game for the first time. But it utterly lacks in functionality. And please also remove the legacy cursor, because of how disasterous of an impact it would have, when a new player accidentaly presses a wrong button in the menu and gets to see something so visually unappealling. Old client's lack of bugs was nice and I love it for the nostalgia. This new client has gone for too long with some of the issues that it has, but thankfully Riot has said that with the dropping of support for Windows XP they can finally iterate and create a more up to date client (which is being tested to select users on PBE right now) > -And Idk anymore where exactly I've read/heard it, but riot said they prefered true dmg instead of amor penetration, because the concept of true damage is much easier to understand for newer players. Meanwhile all the longtime players are complaining about how true damage is just so bad for the balance of the game, but who are these veterans to be concerned about. Feels like this statement probably needs its context to be reasonable. Doesn't feel like you can just rip this out of its context and have it not sound bad, but hey maybe I'm wrong. Neither of us seemingly know where you're referencing that they said this. > -I remember how I've grinded IP for 2+ months to buy all the runes I deemed useful. And all that, just turns into dust with the runes reforged, giving me an abysmally bad compensation in blue essence, that I'm already sick of collecting anyways. What in the world, do I even need 20 rune pages for, that I spent 30€ on purshasing, just to now edit a single one in champselect? Runes have always been slated to change with time (at the change in Season 8 was not the first time runes were changed drastically) however the compensation was not particularly desirable. On one hand at least we got something back at all but on the other hand some of our RP back would've been kinda nice. You purchase anything in a constantly updating game like this knowing that it will one day be iterated on again though, I think. > The new runes system is not even better than the old one. I had way more options to customize my strategy with the old one. Now I just go to probuild to copy paste the rune-choices for the champion I pick. IMO its only use is, to appeal to new players and make them exited to unlock a new rune when the hit lvl 12 or something and spare them from the grind it took back then. I think there's upsides to both rune systems. There was a lot of niche things that players could do (like 1% crit chance for example) that was kinda interesting but at the same time the amount of flexibility in the new Runes Reforged system is certainly more approachable for newer players. There's still a fair bit of variety you can do with your runes too if you're willing to be creative and test things out. There were people who copied runsets from pros with the previous rune system too, so it's not like that's something that just came about in Season 8. > -The worst of all, is reading the stories here on the boards, of players who play as long as I do, that get their accounts hacked, with somebody with an Egyptian IP playing, while using scripts and insulting everyone arround. Then they ask the support to get their perma-ban removed just to be condenscendingly told that their account security is their probleme, while riot games is still living in the stone age where verification options via phone were not a thing. It's obvious that these players have not done anything wrong, and the effort it would take for the support to remove an unjustified ban is 1 minute at most. And that is too much, for a, maybe even decade, long loyal customer to ask for? These options do exist now though (likely thanks to dropping the support for Windows XP).
: I mean, if we're being completely honest, not being able to show off your accomplishments _technically_ doesn't prevent you from playing games. If we define "gameplay" as the physical act of getting into a game with other people, playing that game, and concluding that game, being able to show your progression _technically_ doesn't fit into that model. Don't get me wrong, eternals still suck, but if there is one thing we can never accuse Riot of, it is false advertising. Most people who come to the boards are looking to rant or complain about something. Cultivates a pretty negative atmosphere when it reality the League of Legends playerbase is not unanimously unsatisfied with the state of the game. They're just playing the game and talking elsewhere instead of hopping on the boards to submit whatever complaint they have. (Some areas such as Story, Art & Sound are exceptions to this because people aren't posting complaints there frequently because there's not much to complain about in that department, so it's a much more positive subset of the overall League population simply by nature of the subject of that part of the baords)

I'm especially glad about the Legacy Cursor part. I hate it when my teammates literally make it a 4v5 and practically guarantee a loss, regardless of where the gamestate is. I've lost games where we were up 10.5k because we couldn't pull off the 4v5 and I've stalled out games where we were behind quite a lot of gold when one of our teammates left. If you want to climb you're going to have to make it easier on yourself and not add a bunch of losses to your name for free (unless you're seriously going to tell me you believe your team have a better chance of winning without you being there, in which case I think we know where a big problem lies in your games).

Does it tho? Now i havent really counted but there have been a lot of times where i got the revive just in the nick of the time. And died later xD. But in all seriousness now, having the revive is better than nothing. Unless riot compensates him that way so it replaces it. But we all know riot cant do it. All they can do is screw things even more.

: Noob problems...?
New players start playing League every day, and while you're new you will be matched up with people of similar skill (or very low level accounts created by smurfs, but these will quickly be escalated to play with other smurfs, so you won't see them for long if at all). Welcome to League of Legends! Thanks for giving the game and community a chance. Consider using the Boards to ask for help or tips if you find yourself getting stuck while learning the game. Also: Don't be afraid to lose. It's part of learning, and League is a permanent learning experience since it's always changing. Just do your best and try to do better next time!
: Just Some Quality of Life Things
I also am colourblind and I agree!~
: Why is there so much advertising for League?
I've recommended this game to at least 45 different friends (online and IRL) and while not all of them have stuck with the game, many of them did at least play for a season if they aren't still playing to this day. Also, you probably found out about this game via advertising (or having someone recommend the game to you) so.... does that not speak for itself?
: How many Neurons would be necessary for a learning AI in League?
I know you said just wondering, but I feel the need to say this anyway: _Bot accounts are not allowed in League_. I'm not saying that you are intending to make one, but I'm just saying that as a preemptive bit of information just in case.

I have this issue as well. It takes me a bit to even figure out where I am when the carousel comes around.
: I feel like I'm a better player when I play high

I don't do it for ranked but it makes normals way better to play. Could it possibly be that you are playing in normals while high (a queue that is typically seen as less competitive than ranked) and in ranked while not high? They may look similar enough, but each queue has separate MMRs and intentions (typically people are trying their best champions in Ranked, while they are playing whatever in normals). Perhaps you just need to be high to play well, but I suspect that there may be a little more to it than that.
: are we ever going to get a replacement for the loss of intervention?
I'm not sure being able to deal out extremely high damage per second while simultaneously getting a shield that literally makes you invincible is a combination that is all that healthy for the game, let alone getting a reset on the invincibility (most likely for getting a kill like most other resets in the game).. As far as putting it on an enchanter I wouldn't get your hopes up too high sadly... The last true enchanter we got (besides Yuumi) was Nami in 2013. It could very well be a few seasons again before we get another enchanter (2023 enchanter, anyone?) and even then the invincibility support is somewhat covered by Taric (and to a lesser degree, Zilean). This is not to say that it couldn't happen, but I don't think it would happen soon.

: I receive Chat Ban for this????
I'd guess that you received a punishment for constantly arguing in chat. While it's fine to try and quickly settle a difference if you spend the entire game doing that to the point where it becomes a trend across several games, I think there might be an issue. Constant arguments about the same thing are incessant and relatively pointless if it just drags on and on forever... plus it just fosters an increasingly negative mood for your teammates. Suggestion: While it's fine to try and settle your differences for a short while, if you can't find some agreement with the other player just **mute them** and move on. You'll spend more time playing the game instead of typing and you might experience a more positive (or at least less negative) mood across your games. It's a pretty minor offense so this might seem trivial, but we do appreciate you not intentionally being aggressive or toxic to your teammates. Constant arguing (even with good intention) just eventually starts to cross into the same territory if it never resolves ^^; {{sticker:slayer-pantheon-rainbows}}
