'And this blade..., will be no different.' Kayn assured in his mind as silence surrounded them. The unnatural atmosphere of the forest was a mere premise to the being ahead. He should have stopped to consider the unsettled shifting of shadows and how the Ionian forest rejected the creatures gathered under their shade. He was no stranger to battlefields, fragments of corpses peering out of the mud like disgusting blossoms. The trail of remains could only end with a worthy opponent. Madness had taken too far to flinch before the obvious warnings. "So this is the power of a bored fallen god," he taunted his companion as the scythe rested on his shoulder. Rhaast's eye blinked lazily as if he already knew the outcome of the encounter. "Disgraceful. A beast dwelling in carnage. I will be so much more." _Behold, a fragment of the darkin's reborn nature. You will be no different_ "Though I admit they have mercilessly devoured their souls. A true form of death where all are equal..., hn." He stopped before one of the red tattered standards, still, no wind would sway its crimson elegance, the motionless air only made the stench deeper and more nauseous. "Even to the Noxians..., your acquaintance has been kind, Rhaast. They deserve worse. No mercy, remember?" The boy's eyes widened, taunting the horrified expression of a severed head. _The one who waits ahead was a god among warriors. Despite my healing nature, the scars persist._ "Is that so?" Kayn retorted mirthlessly amused. His gaze then stared ahead as his grip tightened and he leaped gracefully to a nearby tree. At his command, shadows wove around them, darkening the glade. _Don't be foolish, your hideout conceals nothing. He knows we're here._ "What? Has he sensed you already!?" he glared at the scythe, eyes widening with anger, irritation to see his small strategy ruined. _Maybe..._

Has he sensed you already!?" he glared at the scythe, eyes widening with anger, irritation to see his small strategy ruined. > > _Maybe..._ Aatrox had sensed Rhaast's approach, for how could he not. The smell of death, the screams of a hundred thousand souls, the feel of the desert, the heat of the sun, the corruption of the void. All these things Rhaast braught with him, each of them Aatrox had been trained to sense immediatly. There was a crunching of grass, the splintering of a tree as thick foot falls began to head towards the two. The life here had been bled out, and several of the tree's had a dusky brown look to them, and a voice called out, from somewhere far ahead. Deep and booming, there was power there, and a madness familiar to Kayn. "**You've come, finally Rhaast. I've been waiting.**" Rhaast could feel his fellow's approach, though he could not sense a mortal soul alongside his. It would seem Aatrox had already surpassed his host. ""**I'll admit, you've been difficult to find. Our sister is still missing, and I felt Varus somewhere nearby, his bow as deadly accurate as always. He moved to quickly for me to catch however, he was heading to our old home. I've heard rumors that the old king is back, that Azir...**" The voice trailed off as Aatrox's form entered the blooded clearing. He stood tall, armor recently polished and blade giving off a consistant pulse, the heart just above it's hilt beating steadily. Massive bat-like wings spread wide and proud before Kayn, and in that instant Kayn could feel Aatrox's might. This was far more than any mortal warrior. This was a god. This was a being multiple centuries old, one who had mastered every facet of war, one whose being was comprised of, and entirely born of Death, Battle, and Carnage. Aatrox stared at Kayn, and slowly his form began to shake. Initially it could have been mistaken for fear, if it were not for the bellowing laughter that came out of him a moment later. "TRULLY BROTHER! You find yourself unable to devour this mortal? Where is the one known as Death, he who talked of reaping even the Kindred's soul. Even Varus has consumed his host, I felt it. Two mortals devoured within an instant. I've dealt with dozens already, their mortal forms unable to keep up with my demands... and I find you here, stuck on your very first? Perhaps your edge truly did dull during your imprisonment." Seemign to shift his gaze from the scythe, Aatrox's gaze finally settled down onto Kayn. " Boy. What is your name."

Whether or not she should... is an entirely different question entirely.* Aatrox didn't even seem to note Meysal's consciousness or her attempted stalking. As he walked his blade dragged against the ground, not carving through it as it rested on it's flat edge. However everywhere the blade touched the grass seemed to shrivel up and die, as if the very life was sucked out of it by mere contact with the blade. Though Aatrox himself wasn't aware of it, she could see the tiny little cuts and gashes on his body from things like thorns healing as the blade absorbed life. His March continued for a while till she found a massive abnormality within the forest, a clearing of entirely dead plants. As he sat down and placed his blade into the ground, his body turned and he found himself gazing on the path that he had just come from. If she decided to step out, he'd see her in an instant.

Birds did not sing, squirrels moved about in silence. The world kept hushed by an unknowable fear. The fox that dwelled within Ahri roiled at an unknown sensation, a feeling of evil and wrong and imminent death from an alpha predator lurking in the area, the feeling not unlike the few times the void had surfaced briefly in Ionia. The difference here however, was that the feeling did not move. It stayed within the same place, instead of spreading like a plague. No animals went missing, only the few hunters foolish enough to enter the area, hinting that whatever the feeling was, it was sentient and aware. Awareness meant memories and feelings. Awareness meant it could be talked to, potentially. A strange shadow loomed, not cast by the absence of light, but by an air of despair. A mixture of both terrifying, and terrified. The longer Ahri focused upon this strange feeling, the sadder it seemed. Angry, alone, longing... perhaps even desperate. While she should have been afraid, she was more curious. It didn't seem like a chaotic force, it wasn't lashing out in all directions, seeking pointless destruction, so why was it here? The shorter figure wore a drawn hood with drably colored cloak and robes, somehow their pale blue eyes shining from beneath the shadow, while the other wore fairly well kept clothes that seemed to be of some form of craftsman's uniform. His unshaven face was open to be observed, somewhat tanned with dense, brown hair. Their eyes were a livid green, boots making somewhat deep imprints into the soil.* > > "So... where are we, again?" *The shorter form asked, looking to their companion, their voice distinctly female.* "I don't remember the significance other than this *particular* spot..." > "Ionia. A string of islands which are considered a continent, though it's not exactly like Bilgewater." *The taller one - easily a man - smiled down at them, leaning against a tree.* "Magic is quite strong here... keep that in mind when you travel around. I don't need to get you out of awkward situations." > "Like that tavern?" > "*Especially* like that tavern." > "Okay..." *She sighed, before he would place a hand onto their shoulder.* > "You'll do fine." > "I hope so." A rather pleasant, sunny day shone down through the trees. While the skies were clear, it was neither too hot, or too cold, resting in between, like a relaxing mid Autumn day. Perfect weather for a bit of adventure, a roam along the many narrow roads that cut their way through the forests, or maybe a visit to a nearby town. Ahri wrapped herself in her cloak, and hood, which was another reason she preferred cooler days for wandering, otherwise such clothing would be stifling, and stepped out into the wide world. It was along one of these less traveled, partly overgrown paths that she saw two odd looking... hunters? Explorers? She wasn't sure, though one seemed wrapped similar to her, with a hood drawn over the crest of their head. While a little suspicious, she thought little of it, and called out. "Are you lost?"

From within some dense shrubbery, two softly glowing yellow eyes peered, confused by what they saw. It was deeper in the forest than before, where Aatrox resided. His breathing was laboured and ragged, body standing at full body height as he stared into a crystaline lake. His eyes seemed to scrape across his reflection, body tensing up more and more till with a loud roar of hatred and fury Aatrox slashed at the surface of the water causing a massive shockwave of liquid as he turned around. Stomping deeper into the woods Aatrox snarled at the few animals he actually saw and moved, though for a reason even he didn't know he did his best to move in between the tree's instead of simply toppling them out of his path. ["This Cursed Form this.. Crude, Decaying **FLESH** How i loathe it..." ](https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/leagueoflegends/images/3/32/Aatrox_338.ogg/revision/latest?cb=20180612213036) The grief, the hate in the voice, all directed inwards. There were mortals who would suffer heart attacks from the amount of murderous intent Aatrox poured out, and yet as far as Ahri could tell, it was all directed towards himself. The creature continued to march forward, till finally it entered a clearing where all the grass was dead. There was a large hole in the ground, and as Aatrox placed the blade within it fit perfectly and blended seemlessly. He collapsed to the ground then, head resting against rock as he gazed upwards at the stars. "I remember... when I once touched the stars. When i was their vessel, their champion... Now I am this abomination... They deserve to be snuffed out for their betrayal."

His mind groggy with sleep but awakened by the sound of an intruder. He was prepared to ignore it, if not for the sudden surge of magic. His eyes snapped fully wide and he surged to his feet, moving with a speed that was alien to his form. With his soul in his blade, it was possible to ignore the weakness of the body, and as such he moved so quickly that flesh tore from the speed and effort. His blade cleaved through the air at Esteliasa's head, missing by mere inches. {dash and second q} > > "**You would DARE approach me in my sleep assassin!? Even GODS cannot kill me.**" > > Aatrox's banner's flapped in the wind as he stood, mentally commanding his magics to restore the damage he inflicted upon his body. He now stood at full height, ready to chase down this would be assassin in his mind, and teach her the error of her ways by the edge of the blade. Esteliasa would be running down the path as she fixated her vision only towards the pathway that stood before her. As she ran as fast as she could down the path she heard a blade .. and before she could react .. there it was .. a blade flew right past her head missing her by mere **inches** .. a demonic **deep** .. **raspy** voice .. Esteliasa stopped in her tracks. Ignorantly turning around to face the horror that followed her, she became bug-eyed as she watched this demon standing with his blade readied. He had to be at least 7 feet tall .. Esteliasa looked herself up and down. Esteliasa was only 5'1 .. and not only was she at an extreme height disadvantage .. she didn't stand a chance when it came down to body mass. To top it off .. he's a goddamn demon ..! Needless to say, she wasn't going down without a fight .. and it damn sure wasn't going to be easy. Esteliasa started to build up power in her right palm as mana flowed through the veins in her right arm, powering the magic that surrounded her palm. She focuses on the power growing in her palm as she transfers it over to her left palm, mana beginning to flow down the veins in her left arm as well. Bringing her palms together, she creates an orb slowly pulling her palms away expanding the ball of power. Her eyes began to glow purple as she pulled back, releasing the orb as it flew towards the demon. {Esteliasa's Q} The orb was filled with mana, energy, and power .. Esteliasa was filled with resentment . Esteliasa shouted as she brought her hand up before firing out a shockwave surrounding her as she pushed it outwards. {Esteliasa's W} At this point, there was an Orb flying through the air at full speed charging straight at Aatrox .. and even if he were to dodge that he know has a shockwave coming at him at lightning speed. Esteliasa shouts out in fury as she empowers the shockwave increasing the speed. Esteliasa smirked as she looked up at the demon. She panted and her knees began to shake from the amount of power she was using. The orb was only inches away from hitting Aatrox directly in his chest and the shockwave wasn't far behind it .

As she sent the spells out Aatrox did not even attempt to dodge. He cared not what happened to his flesh, for he had plenty of which to draw from to regenerate the corpse. And, in a land as rich with people as this even if his form was completely obliterated it would be mere days before someone foolishly touched his sword. As her spells hit him he slammed his fist into the ground and a red shock wave erupted and tore through the ground racing towards her. The combined spells knocked him out of his crouched stance and sent him flying backwards, and as he did he swung his blade forward sending two waves of energy to her left and right giving her a choice. She could take the wickedly sharp looking blades of energy, or get slammed in the shin's by the, questionably blunt, burst of magic tearing up the ground heading towards her. With the shockwave speeding up the orb even further the orb slammed into his chest... and through it slightly, and the smell of rot pours into the air. As the two bickered back and fourth, with Kayn heading deeper into the forests of Ionia, Rhaast would sense it before Kayn. The silence, the lack of noise. Everything here lived within fear and the pressure was oppressive. For Rhaast however, it brought back ancient memories. Memories of an Army of Mortals kneeling to the Darkin, the Aura his kinds way of keeping lesser creatures silent in the presence of an Ascended God. With each minute that Kayn continued deeper, he'd find corpses, horribly mangled. Many appeared to have been cleaved into halves or quarters, and there were occasionally massive craters lingering. Kayn could tell the weapon was at minimum a Greatsword, far larger than one anyone could, or should reasonably wield. For Rhaast, he knew this blade. This weapon was intimately familiar, a remnant of a memory of a time long forgotten thanks to the abyss their kind were trapped within. One of his fellows was nearby, and not just any rat or Rodent. One of his truest siblings, one of the four generals. Kayn using his magical senses, would quickly learn that all of the souls had already been harvested from the bodies, the forest left to devour what remained. Each pack of humans seemed to be entirely of one origin, either bilgewater pirates, Ionian peasants, Vastayan, or Noxan invaders. And no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't seem to find a single trace of the one who killed them all. The only thing he could tell is that each husk had all of it's blood drained. For Rhaast, as he too came to this realization the memory of who this was would snap into place. Aatrox, The God of War. The two had demolished many a battlefield, for what better team was there than Death and War.

Her somewhat pale eyes flickered for a moment, and she saw the nightmare form of Aatrox stepping away.* *Though she should have felt fear, Meysal only felt curiosity. It was the same way she felt when the Noxians first encountered the voidspawn that rendered the shard she had studied for the past two weeks. It was the same way she felt as the Noxians had captured and subdued her, only to discover her usefulness a heartbeat later, and employ her to those ends.* *it was the same way she felt about the strange, demon-looking, thunderously hulking mass that was the Darkin. She wanted to know. She* had *to know exactly who and what this... person? Monster? Where they came from, how they came to be - the girl lusted for knowledge.* *Meysal slowly lifted to her feet, leaning against the tree, and tried to follow from a safe distance.* *She* would *find out. Whether or not she should... is an entirely different question entirely.*

Whether or not she should... is an entirely different question entirely.* Aatrox made his way away from the camp and into the distance. It had been days since he had been able to get more than a few minutes of sleep, and even he was beginning to tire mentally. He could feel the presence of another darkin, potentially two around here somewhere he just needed to actually find them. Stalking his way through the forest, the world was absolute silence aside from his thudding footsteps, the dragging of his blade in the ground and the crunching of plant life around him. After perhaps an hour of travel the tired Darkin found a new clearing, one blocked by thicket's of thorns and dropped in it, eyes closing as his mind slipped away, to dreams and nightmares. Dreams of golden sands and golden skin, nightmares of an endless black abyss in silence with no body.
: Another battle of epic proportions had been let loose upon the earth, but the enemy could not hope to measure up to its opponent that towered over them in purpose, in strength. Soon after silence befell the battlefield and as Aatrox drank from their vitae a lone [figure](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1yNcSj0Gdljdo7DvZRqT1hmiY301yu9YPwJBDjNscbHQ/edit?usp=sharing) had been observing in the distance, graceful and nearly as tall as him but rail thin as if malnourished. It stood upon the hill, did not speak nor made any motion to flee, merely observing as it seemed. It was apparent they wanted to be seen, for the rich Demacian forest had no shortage of hiding spots. There was something undeniably inhuman about them, standing at a height above any human. When Aatrox finally took notice of them it seemed startled for a moment, staggering back but standing its ground it started to remove the mask revealing what [laid beneath.](https://i.imgur.com/a8O7lI6.jpg?1) It was a cruel mirror that stared back at him but its flesh seemed stained by a ashen colour differing the two from each other, stoic but with a heavy heart, its eyes sunken in a depressed manner. What it mouthed out read _another ascended?_ or something similar the shock on its part surpassing any Aatrox might have. But that same burning desire to meet fellow kin is also what stayed its feet, its eyes carefully observing his... rotten form that seemed false to its purpose.

But that same burning desire to meet fellow kin is also what stayed its feet, its eyes carefully observing his... rotten form that seemed false to its purpose. As Aatrox was observed he turned and caught sight of them. His blade, once beautiful and blue with the sky {headcannon that Justicar Aatrox is Pure Aatrox} now a dark red and grey. He rose to his full height, Wings splayed out to either side of him due to the carnage he had partaken in allowing him to enter a somewhat half-state of his true power. His blade glowed violet with energies as he began to march towards the shadowed figure and he hissed out, in an almost blind rage. " **Wretched abomination of the void! I WILL SUNDER YOU FROM THIS AND ALL WORLDS!**" His wings flapped and he rose from the ground racing forward, only to stay his blade at the last moment as he gazed down into the face of the creature, distant memories of golden sands screaming at him. He froze then, flying above her, wielding his blade in what was likely an all-too familiar stance. He lowed his blade towards her shoulders slowly, and his voice still echo'd with power but the distortion of madness that had dwelled within it prior was now missing. "You... You feel familiar to me void beast. Why do I know you. Speak quickly, least i send you back to the oblivion you call home." He spoke, not in the common dialect of the world, but in Ancient Shuriman, a language nearly lost to time.

His hand twitched and eventually he scoffed turning away from them. With such a small soul their spirit would do nothing for him, and they had not the flesh to repair the damage done to his form. It was these thoughts he used to justify the mercy to the vengeance he desired, the ancient guardian winning out in this battle over his corrupted mind.

: Strolling through the bushy, tree-infested area. [Esteliasa](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1p91EsTctYc_V4S1H47KnqI34LNLxM7lQPHanMMzNYSg/edit?usp=sharing) kicked rocks along the path and twirled her fingers through the locks of her shiny dark-brown hair. An innocent smile plastered across her face as usual. She happened to have her dagger out of it's sheath as she scraped it along the trees that she passed by along the path. She was on the hunt, searching for a meal. Her boot got caught on a branch, as the branch snagged her boot. She was caught off guard by this as she lost balance and stumbled, slamming into the ground. She screamed out as she tumbled down a hill and roll into the middle of another pathway. She held her hand over her head as she recovered from the impact. Esteliasa rose to her feet, she looked around to view her surroundings. She was keeping an eye out for passing by animals such as rabbits, deer, etc. Anything to prey upon .. Instead, she found a big red and black demonic looking **beast** . Esteliasa froze in place, shaken in fear. This demon wore a headgear that resembled nothing other than that of a hellspawn, and huge, gigantic black wings that spread out across the entire pathway. She reached into her sheath to grab her dagger and realized it wasn't there. "Shit ..! I must've lost it on the way down. Regardless, think Esteliasa. What would a dagger do to a demonic beast .." She said to herself, speaking in the third-person. She instead triggered her magical powers that she withheld in her right hand and she ran away in hope that the demon would pass her by without noticing her.

She said to herself, speaking in the third-person. She instead triggered her magical powers that she withheld in her right hand and she ran away in hope that the demon would pass her by without noticing her. As Esteliasa fell into the clearing, Aatrox's eyes slowly opened. {dash and second q} "**You would DARE approach me in my sleep assassin!? Even GODS cannot kill me.**" Aatrox's banner's flapped in the wind as he stood, mentally commanding his magics to restore the damage he inflicted upon his body. He now stood at full height, ready to chase down this would be assassin in his mind, and teach her the error of her ways by the edge of the blade.

The blue orbs were his eyes, and Aatrox found himself flying around exactly the kind of being he was hoping to face. For the first time in ages, Aatrox would feel dread. The death he craved was so close he could reach out and touch it. Wolf continued his forward pace, looming over the darkin. This evening, the savage hunter had a more determined form. Four paws touched the soil, supporting legs greater than oaks. His coat was sleek and darker than even Aatrox's rage. Where Wolf was, only the blackness of death stood. As Aatrox screamed in rage at the hunters, he would notice another pair of blue orbs come into form beside Wolf. Lamb was revealing herself. Her wool shone bright in the light of the moon and stars. Her mask was as black as her companion's coat. She alighted upon the soil and stood gracefully, bow in hand. Her gaze carried every bit as much force as Wolf's and her presence was every bit as powerful. "With sword and venom, he challenges us," Lamb said. She knocked an ethereal arrow and raised her bow but did not aim at anything in particular. Aatrox was confronted with an exhilarating choice. The Eternal Hunters stood before him. Wolf's teeth were bared. Lamb's words were not threats, but promises. "He won't run. No fun in chasing him," Wolf observed as he paced around in circles. Every footfall was silent. "He has many questions with one simple answer. One answer he knows himself," Lamb sternly replied. "What time is it?" she demanded. "Aatrox, you know the answers to your questions. You know who we are." "Maybe he can tell us what death feels like," Wolf suggested. "We have followed him from the moment of his birth, as we have for everyone, and will do until the end of time," Lamb mused. "Though we do not know what lies beyond us. Perhaps he has the strength to tell us. What happens after the end?" Wolf stepped in front of Aatrox and faced him. Lamb stood at his side and aimed her bow. Her gaze wasn't directed at Aatrox's mortal flesh, but rather the sword that contained him and all the souls he had subsumed over the centuries. Wolf put a paw forward and bared his fangs. "We sense your rage and your hope," Lamb chimed. "Now choose," her counterpart bellowed, "I want to hunt!"
> [{quoted}](name=All Life Ends,realm=NA,application-id=jxzFAe03,discussion-id=j8MpTyEt,comment-id=001d000000000000,timestamp=2019-05-22T21:10:50.058+0000) Wolf stepped in front of Aatrox and faced him. "Now choose," her counterpart bellowed, "I want to hunt!" Aatrox's form shook, the fear within his heart forcing it's way to the front of his mind. This was his chance, he could finally move on however... The mortal part of him. That human soul which so desperately cried for death had been comforted. It screamed in the silence because it was afraid, afraid that it was forever removed from what it should be. In the end all souls know of the kindred, even if the body and mind does not. To go from knowing death was impossible, to having that soft knowledge of yes, yes it is possible eased an ache within him. It soothed his rage and as his form shook his blade slowly lowered itself, and Aatrox allowed his head to hang. "**Centuries i have spent... longing for nothing more than this final embrace.** I was told it was denied of me. That cursed aspect told us all that our death's would be forever denied to us. The thought is absolutely maddening. To know that even the stars will die before you do, you could not understand such a feeling as a being who was never mortal." Aatrox slowly drew his blade away from the collection of souls, and even released his ancient spell that held them trapped here. Given the torture they had gone through, and the comforting presence of lamb they would very quickly flock to her to hide and gain their respite. Aatrox's body fell to the ground, wings disintegrating into dust as numerous cracks and holes appeared on his body, the collection of flesh not able to take his true power for long. "You have come before me now... answered my cal despite all. I would seek to draw something from you. An oath. When my time comes, or i am trully ready, will you come for me. Will you free me from what those wretched aspects have done to me, and to my fellow brothers? Varus and Rhaast?"

He lifted his blade and stared at the girl, growling as the two sides waged war within his head before finally he turned. " I do not spare you out of kindness. I simply will not soil my blade with your piss Shuriman." Aatrox looked at the mortal that reminded him of himself. A slave to another, fighting and rebelling and of shuriman decent. It was her eyes however, that had him averting his eyes. Those eyes stil had hope. They had defiance. He did not want to accept that a mortal was enduring what he could not. Turning his focus back to the jar, he carved a small hole in the ground and placed the bottle within, a near perfect fit. "Abominations... I may not remember who or what you are... but i know once i faught you. All things are my enemy but you... you i **Hate.** Lifting the blade into the air he would leap up and slam it down onto the jar, shattering it as his blade cleaved at the souls of whatever was contained within the jar. {first q animation} {sorry for the short post, wasn't sure what to do here.}

It could be assumed to be Lamb's based off context. "You seek us. You called out to us with a challenge. You despair," she declared. "Those that seek us are driven to out of sadness or insanity. Your motivations contain plenty of both, Aatrox." A pair of luminous blue orbs appeared in front of Aatrox. The moon didn't cast enough light to dispel the shadows this night. The magic Aatrox used as his bait was swallowed by the darkness of the late hour. The darkin felt the presence of something truly overwhelming. The orb loomed over Aatrox and even grew in size and proportion. Eventually, Aatrox could make out a white mask in the darkness. "You would make a good hunt," he growled in anticipation. Wolf was genuine. There was just enough moonlight to now make out a predatory grin. "What time is it?" Lamb's soft voice asked. "Is it time for you to go? Or is it time for us to reclaim those poor souls who you have taken from us?" She remained out of sight, and it felt like she was speaking directly into Aatrox's mind.

Aatrox's wings beat against the air, keeping him flying close to the orb, blade turned so as to either defend himself or slice into the orb, to once again absorb them. His gaze locked onto the faint white mask, and he slowly circled with it, looking for the other mask as well. He had doubts of course, that they would bother to show up. That they did spoke volumes, and it meant that he could hope to end it now. Hope. Such a strange, foreign concept to him. It brought back flickered memories of golden armor and bright blue wings. {Working under the assumption that Justicar Aatrox is Aatrox true form back in the day} It brought back the belief that he could be free. How ironic, that desperation and seeking death is what brought his sense of hope back. Given what Kindred is, it is entirely likely that the Lamb could sense his blossoming hope, the desire to rest. "**It matters not! If you do not grant me my rest, then the next time there shall be no reclamation. I will march upon this world, I will chop and hack and cleave, and sunder their souls into my blade. Whether by arrow or fang, I will fight you... And if I come out victorious than i shall perform your duty. No matter the end of this night, I will have my fate. Even if everything, even time must die first.** Aatrox's chitin plates clicked as he shook with barely concealed rage, but also a heartrending sense of betrayal. His composure snapped and he began to truly yell at the pair. "**WHY is it you only speak to me now! Every death, every cleave, I have WAITED for you to approach me. I have stolen your hunts time, and time again and yet ONLY NOW DO YOU APPEAR. What that trickster did to me, she STOLE me from your domain. Is it not your DUTY to reclaim me. WHY CAN I NOT DIE! WHY AM I STILL HERE, IN A WORLD I DO NOT KNOW IN A BODY THAT IS NOT MINE TRAPPED IN A CAGE WITHIN A PRISON. WHY DO YOU NOT GRANT ME MY FREEDOM, WHEN OTHERS SO DESPERATELY FIGHT YOU AND I ONLY SEEK TO EMBRACE YOU!** Swinging his blade, Aatrox would send out twin waves of red energy{Old Aatrox e} at the white mask that he could see, the mental damage of thousands of years in isolation, coupled with the slight madness forced upon him by the void taking his senses briefly. Beneath the Darkins false shell, locked within the blade, was a soul. A mortal soul, that had been stretched, tortured, burned and more. He was Ascended, yes, he was even transformed by the Aspect of Change and Twilight, but his soul was originally that of a mortal, and it could only take so much before it began to unravel.
: If It Draws Breath... It Meets Us... (Ask Kindred)
Yet another group of zed's order of shadows lay bleeding in afield, their souls drawn in and consumed by Aatrox's blade. It was time, he thought to himself. Time to lure out his tormentor, the one being whose embrace he truly desired. Hours passed, as he dragged his blade through the ground, carving ancient runes and sigils to ensure that his bait wouldn't simply escape to where it belonged. With the full moon rising his task was complete. Aatrox waited till the moon was directly overhead, and with a surge of ancient magic he forced out roughly 270 souls. The seals flared to lfie and the orbs of light began to gather and compress, glowing brightly in the dim light of the night. Soon after Aatrox would lift his blade and slam it into the ground his true form flaring up, wings bellowing out behind him as he roared his challenge. "**COME LAMB! COME WOLF! I CALL UPON THE KINDRED! FIGHT ME, AND RECLAIM THESE STOLEN HUNTS! Grant me my fated oblivion. ** He knew this was an impossible battle, but it didn't matter. That was precisely the reason why he sought it out, for what entity could free him of the curse that wretched Trickster had placed upon him, than Death. He craved it, that final blessed silence that had been denied to him for so long. Though he challenged Wolf to battle, it was lamb's arrow he so desperately sought.

Standing slowly his blade lifts itself from the ground to fly into his hand, the bond between body and blade beyond that of mortal comprehension. As he listened to the cries of fear he knew what he would have to do. The path of carnage he walekd was one that couldn't stop, one that... that he had to walk yes? A dark voice within his mind whispered of an end of all things, a void where even death was dead and only that then could he rest. As he marched forward he slammed his fist into the ground, sending out a pulse of dark magic to chain the victim in place. "You cannot run mortal. Come here now, and I shall grant you the mercy of a swift end. I know not why they braught you, but it will take more than a mortal child to seal me once again."
: The Betrayed Gaurdian of Shurima
Aatrox heaved and closed his eyes, the sound of flesh tearing as blood splattered onto his torso. Silence reigned in the glade that he had chosen, the corpses of a noxian poaching party around him as he slowly placed his blade back into the ground. Slow labored breath began to smooth out into calm even tension as he simply sat down in the blood filled glade, one hand idly reaching out to remove the spear from his neck. He had been resting, meditating on the curse binding his soul to the blade when the spear had struck him. They had suspected something weak and defenseless, and so he had granted them the honor of a warriors death. Minutes passed, and slowly the sounds of the forest came back, nervous around the bloodshed and around Aatrox himself. A clawed hand reached out and he traced a bloody symbol upon the closest hunters face, an ancient shuriman symbol. " Rot quickly. So your flesh can become my soil, to become my food..." His form quivered, chitin plates along his shoulders clinking as he suppressed the absolute rage within. " If only I could join that eternal cycle. One day i will be free."

For now though, Aatrox is currently in Ionia, deep in the vastayan forests AWAY from civilization. For any with such characters, because Aatrox is what he is he does feel inherantly wrong, but i am going to be playing him as if trying to meditate, to use ionia's natural mana to somewhat heal his mental and spiritual wounds.}

I Will be releasing ornn. Between my job, my time as a guild master, hosting 2 dnd campaigns as well as trying to just in general make my life better i don't have the time to put in the creative thought neccessary to get someone like Ornn out into the world. I hope whoever takes him over, if this does happen, treats him right.
: The Grand Manor of House Laurent [Ask Fiora - The Grand Duelist]
A letter, stained in blood would appear amongst the pile of letters. It held the smell of Zaun upon it, and there was a crest of a set of strange looking wings. The wings at first glance appeared to be almost heavenly but extended looks would reveal a more sinister tone to them. Opening it would reveal a rather sporadic letter, written at first by someone who it would appear does not even know HOW to. A brief bit down the page, the red ink would become a lot more organized, and legible. "Fiora Laurent, mistress of the blade. My master is a swordsmen as well... an undefeated swordsmen who has slain many opponents, but spares those who pose as an actual challenge. We have overheard him, recently, lamenting about the fact that none in Zaun are capable of crossing blades with him and surviving. Though we were not expressly ordered to, he does desire a challenge and we wonder if you would even be capable of surviving against him, much less proving yourself as a worthy adversary. You've slain many foes in the past, tis true, but you have never faught a warrior like our lord. He is war itself. We await your reply, Daughter of **Insert Fiora's Father here because i can't find it in lore.** Sincerely, The House of War and Blood

He would need to ask Lissandra of True Ice or possibly Ymir and the properties it contained, such a thing would prove useful in projects. However, the second Ornn pulled out the weapon, Roman's eyes widened as he felt his heartbeat quicken and felt a pulse, a link really, right towards the weapon. The God of Chaos' face could be described with awe, shock, surprise, and something akin to seeing a long lost friend. He watched as the blade suddenly became a whip, dangerous with all three whips now attached to one crossguard. Roman looked hesitant, slowly reaching out and grasping at it, gasping as he felt something akin to a bond... Complete synergy, almost as if this weapon knew him and he knew the weapon. For the first time in years, Roman couldn't help but feel grateful once more for such a divine beauty, and Ornn would bare witness to the God of Chaos holding his blade and thrusting it down, similar to a knight and kneeling before Ornn. **"I cannot express my gratitude so well, but I thank you, Ornn, the Mountain Smith. However, he did not agree with Ornn's idea that Sejuani had some hidden depth. Her raiders have repeatedly attacked his caravans and has no signs of stopping, Zeke has a great well of empathy and forgiveness for many actions but the Winter's Claw has quite quickly drained any sense of empathy he had towards them. Then the last one, Lissandra, Ornn didn't finish his thought about her. Zeke approached the smith more closely, getting the original in place was a relatively painful experience and expected the same if not worse for the replacement. Ornn looked Zeke over and started to head into the mountain. As he did the snow crunched beneath him, and the jaw glinted in the light. It was flawlessly crafted, and where the snow fell upon it it would slide off, as if unable to find purchase. "**Come. I must take care when removing your jaw, lest you break before i can put this on. Humans are fragile things, i can't repair you if you break... Not for lack of trying in the past.**

Admittedly, i lost my drive for rp. When i first picked it up on here i had a lot of fire and passion but it burned out pretty quickly and left me wondering, okay what now. Been dealing with depression and a lot of shit lately, mostly around the fact that at the time i didn't have a job so whenever i wanted to post it always felt like: oh wow look at you doing this instead of job hunting. I am happy to say however, that i have a job now and if possible, I would like to reclaim Ornn.

: Éclair listened to Talon and had to agree with him. It might seem like a weakness to follow Talon's "orders", but it was probably for the best. After all she might have more sway over people as a neutral party than a witnessed assassin. Not to mention it wasn't wise to go against his kind. Still, it didn't please her. The red lady sighed and once the assassin left her turned to Revas. She wouldn't let any signs of displeasure or other kinds of feelings show when dealing with him, but she still hoped to kill him soon after they're done with the ordeal here. She slowly approached him and looking up spoke to him *" Given how you managed to deal with it just now, it seems you know more about this situation than you let on. However something tells me it won't last. "* Éclair looked around, saw the crows slowly returning and sighed *" You know your way around magic effective against this entity, but even you can't defeat it on your own. We need your help. Even the assassin is willing to put aside any grudges we might have just to ensure our survival and that of the villagers as well. "* She then made herself clear *" Come with me and meet up with the others if you want to help, be it for the greater good or selfish desires, it doesn't matter. "* The short lady having said all she wanted turned away and headed towards Cassius. Her message to him was much shorter given the kind of character he showed so far *" If you want to help, then come with me. We're forming a party and dealing with this entity. "* Éclair wasted no more time and went for the inn. However it didn't seem like things went so swimmingly on Talon's side when she saw Jak leaving the inn in a less than stellar mood and state.

Flesh parted and a mouth with far to many teeth grinned at her back. He could sense the hunger, the desire to kill him. He could feel the hunger the entire village had, the desire for vengence and justice, the waves of want for the assassin to die. So much emotion, so much to feed on. His hand twitched and the plate grew up his arm, and after a few moments Revas was able to get himself back under control. His hunger was beginning to get to him, he needed to feed soon. The plates on his right hand were up to his elbow now, and he followed after the party. The scales were tucked away in his pack, mostly for the safety of others than himself. As Jak passed him, Revas couldn't stop the shudder of extacy the man brought him. The sheer desire for Talon's death the man had, was enough to make Revas want the same. He lingered then, outside the Inn. His expenditure had made him hungry, and he needed to meditate to regain control of the ravenous flame that was Famine.

He didn't know anything about this entity, only that they had shown up with no announcement or invitation. Perhaps they had heard of the revival of the Empire or the capital city and wished to see for themselves what had become of things. ((I'd assume its at least thick leather to protect from scratches and small cuts.)) Garen firmly grasped Mevas's clawed hand, seemingly ignoring the risk of piercing his skin. Upon touching the creature, Garen could feel the magic emanating from him, as if it came from the very core of his being. Of course, given the rep Garen had gained toward magic, it was easy to feel rather guarded towards magic, but Garen prided himself in being a good judge of character, and he believed Mevas had his heart in the right place. Moreso, he was not a threat to Demacia, and he even bothered to greet. If this was a trickster ploy, it was a very elegant one. Had he the notion to do magics that would otherwise prove to be a threat, he could've done so from the sky. Garen would have been none the wiser. "Please, do." Garen said, releasing Mevas's hand before motioning with his opposite hand towards his flank. "Scribe! Record the cities that our new acquaintance lists." He ordered, though not demanding or overbearing in tone despite his deep and commanding voice.

As he gets to the last one he pauses, " Although that town had something strange going on. It felt like someone was using dark magic to curse the land, making it sick and rot. I managed to get rid of it, but it struck me as odd.
