: Sorry for the ban. I was banned almost 3 years ago. Never had a single warning, chat restriction, low-priority que, or any other kind of punishment. I went straight from a highly honored player (was the old honor system) to permanently banned after 1 game where the bard banned my champion in champ select, told me to kill myself for trying to play Yi, and then stole my buff level 1 and followed me around the jng for the entirety of the 20 minutes until we could ff (was before 15 min unanimous rule). He said things, I said things, but his actions caused the entire thing. My account from then got banned and his is still untouched. I check it every now and then. But, whatever, I was silver then and now I'm plat 2 probably going to be diamond by end of the season (he's still silver, btw). I changed my chat scaling to 0, moved it off screen, disabled enemy emotes, and fullmute all pings, chat, and emotes at the beginning of every game and play the game how I see fit. This is not a disadvantage - ALL information from pings and chat is irrelevant. Chat simply isn't needed. But what about summoner and ult timing etc? Most people in my games range from p3 to diamond 2 and none of them ping summs or ults for me anyway, so I started muting about a year ago. Been steady climbing since. Just play like they have everything unless you see them use it yourself and you will make way less mistakes. When I watch streams, the chat is incredibly toxic and irrelevant for those high elo players. Go watch any challenger streamer or youtuber and pay attention to the chat. Nothing is said that is relevant, EVER. They only rage. Sorry you got banned. Riot needs to work on the automated system they have in place. My ban came down the week they implemented the automated system so I assumed it was over-tuned. They've improved it since then but I haven't received any kind of penalties or restrictions on my "new" account anyway. I say new, but it was a smurf I made in 2014 that I just focused on after the ban. I wasn't toxic then, I'm not toxic now. I had one bad game and Riot wrongfully punished me hard. Maybe this was the case for you, maybe it wasn't. Either way, I think Riot can improve and even profit from a new kind of ban system. Shit, I would have paid to get the account back even with reduced privileges like permanent chat restriction etc. I wish you well whether or not you decide to make a new account and return to us. I would understand either way. Good luck.

I would understand either way. Good luck. Your making your team suffer when you mute pings. They have no way to communicate with you and when they do something like all in or something, you're properly standing there in the back when your whole team is dead because you don't see there pings to go in.

: Do you also want to not gain LP when someone on the enemy team gets toxic/trolls?
No if your on the other team when someone trolls and you win, you still get the lp

: > Then why wouldn't they just give you back the lp if you lose a game? Do you expect to keep the +LP if you win the game with the trolls?
