I have 0 idea why people play this game if they have to deal with this bullshit. how is league even popular? Because a good game is one of the most enthralling gaming experiences available. The biggest problem the game has, probably more so than all the others combined (posts whining about game balance be damned), is toxic players. You found some. It's unfortunate. If you find more, report them. Something you should know, if you haven't been told: many low level summoners are experienced players leveling new accounts. Sometimes they just want to, sometimes they have to because their previous accounts were banned. If you've only ever played enough LoL to hit level 7 on one account, playing against other players is often going to leave you at a disadvantage because that level 8 facing you in mid lane has actually played 1,500 games. If they were banned for toxic behavior, they're not likely to change on the new account, so... yeah. For that reason, you might consider more co-op vs. AI games for now. There's far less reason for people to be toxic, and since it's mainly just mechanics practice, if someone plays like a butthole, it won't affect you (losing a bot game is nearly impossible unless the whole team is in on the feeding). Play bot games with different champions so you can be more flexible and, more importantly, get a feel for how different champs work so you can do a better job playing against them. If you want to play against other people now, I recommend switching to draft pick when you're level 10 so you can choose mid specifically. However, if you're a mid main, you're going to need to be competent in a second position and learn something about playing support for when you get autofilled, because you're not going to get mid every game. Take the time to become more well-rounded while you're still low level and earning more experience for playing against bots. As much as toxic players need to be held responsible for their behavior, if your main concern is avoiding it in the moment, playing well is the best way to keep the stupidity at bay.
in the bot games all people do is run down mid. I am the only one playing
: Unfortunately a lot of the "new players" in this game are actually just people that got banned and refuse to change their attitude.
so what you are saying is...riot bans people. they make new accounts and harass very new people??? that doesn't even make sense on riot side
: Those are just norms, youre in for a wild ride
I'm about to say fuck this game. I have 0 idea why people play this game if they have to deal with this bullshit. how is league even popular?
