Honestly don't think I am much better. I still am a hit or miss silver player as I was then. I didn't change much of anything. I just eventually had less bad players in my matches that I had to be the carry. My take is that you should not have to be the sole reason for winning your games to advance, since it is a team game. If you look at my game stats, I was never really a hypercarry, or the sole reason for winning. I feel I just had less very bad players. Now that I am in silver, I am starting to see more of those types. It's like B5 only more toxic and entitlement.

My concerns are what we are losing rather than what we are gaining. I understand that the runes are an extension of the keystone changes that were an introduction. So we are getting the next step in keystones and masteries evolution. But we are calling them runes and removing the rune system. So what are we losing?: Stat customization - I've always liked how I can modify my runes to suit the role I wish to play. For example, I like to play jungle, but some champs do not work as well there early game. So I can add runes to add attack speed for clears as an example. Or I can add armor for a little early tankiness. Another example is if I want to forego any defense at mid and make a glass cannon. In this example I am taking a large risk, but it is MY risk because I could customize for that accordingly. Riot's answer to rune stat removal - It's my understanding that Riot will be looking at changing base stats to accommodate the loss of stat customization. I feel this removes the customization options from players, and puts them directly in the hands of Riot. Basically, it sounds like Riot is saying "we like champs to play roles and styles the way we intended, and any customization that deviates from this intention will either be removed, or limited." The problem with masteries is the tree system locks you into certain paths. The benefit of runes is that you can basically choose to invest in a stat in any given location. You get more benefit of course from investing in a given stat in marks, over glyphs, but you could choose the glyphs because marks give a better efficiency in a different stat. There are limitations, but the customization possibilities are still there. My suggestion/understanding of Riot's answer to this may be entirely incorrect, but what IS Riot's answer to the loss of customization? TL;DR New runes are en extension of Masteries and keystones which are path based and have limited customization. Removal of old runes removes a level of player customization, while adjustment to base stats are in Riot's hands, not the player. Where do players get compensation in customization loss?
: I think with such big changes, you guys SHOULDN'T start the season early like you did last year. Starting the season in December will only give you guys less time to moniter & balance stuff. And any leftover balance problems wouldn't be address until the new year after Riot had it's winter break. This will greatly affect players Ranked experiences for that month. I don't mind all the pregame changes (to a certain degree). I prefer to wait & see the full thing in action before I make a solid opinion on it. But I just hope you guys take time with these massive changes.
Why delay the season start? It's actually your choice to jump in to ranked or not based on how comfortable you are. Let those who get comfortable faster have the option to jump in when they want, and you jump in when you want. No need to lag others for your personal comfort.

This whole post is about hitbox visuals vs hitbox effects. The projection animation (the light path that shows when lux is channeling a brief second before firing her R) is not matching the area of effect. I have dodged to the edge of this animation many times to still end up dead, but sometimes I will completely dodged it thinking I didn't. It feels both inconsistent and a poor indicator of the safety/kill zones.

What bothers me is the inconsistency of some skill shots. In on game I can count the times where i narrowly dodge a lux R, then get wiped out in a following play with the same distance i used to dodge before. There almost seems to be a random element to the hit box that depends on how close you are to dying?

My response to that? Making it thinner PLEASE. Watch me Q you when you are RIGHT next to a minion or while standing in the middle of a wave! With a thinner Q I'd say I would land MORE Q's not less. Being able to position closer to the minion wave and not hit them with a thinner skill shot (think Ez Q) would actually be a BUFF to a skilled Blitzcrank. So be careful what you wish for...
I'd be fine with this. It would reward players who have the skill to finesse a skill shot and punish players who just shoot it in the direction of a player and let the wide hit box take care of the rest.

My drivers, directX, operating system, and hardware are all clean. This issue happens over different computers that each meet the game requirements. What you fail to mention is that this happens to other users as well, and the frequency increases around your patches. Testing in custom? At what point? There is no predicting this crash. I could literally repair, go play 20 custom games and then a ranked game and I can't predict which one will crash. Based on what evidence? Please elaborate what led you to that conclusion? I could easily say "The problem sounds like it's on Riot's end" and it would have the same meaning. Please look into an alternative that allows these things to NOT happen at the point of no return. Riot has not shown me or any instance of this error any workable suggestion that does not lead to the same issue. This just happened to me again and another 18 lp down the drain. No problem for you though right?

This isn't some PVE game. Baron is a contestable game changer. The difficulty is, and should, be how a team contests him. If someone can solo the baron, then the enemy did not have proper vision/baron control in the first place. He should be enough of a threat that a team can't just off him before a team can reasonably prepare/react for.

Sarcasm aside. I fell out of Silver to Bronze and and on my way back to Silver. I played with a player who was bronze 3 and claimed feeders were holding him back. I hear this a lot too, but I queued with him. We have lost 2 games out of the 12 we have played together vs Bronze players at first (had a couple feeders throughout but we overcame them) and now play a mix of high bronze/silver. It's sometimes true that feeders and afkers can hold a player back. Probably an overused excuse, but still often true.

It also is a direct correlation to report success. You could report someone, get a notice that someone was penalized, check the honor levels of players you reported and know who go the punishment. I didn't even notice it until a friend of mine told me you could tell who has been reported by their lack of honor showing. Then I told him "no i am level 2" at the time. I dunno if they changed it after launch or if it never showed to others in the first place. Why would you want to see?

ADC's trade early game impact for late game impact. Everyone has a role that contributes in different ways as you point out (re: tanks and supports peeling). I think it's ridiculous to complain about the late game power dynamic of ADC's, when it is clearly their role. If one does not play adc, then they should accept that their role is to stop that late game scale becoming the win condition. Since both teams SHOULD have and adc, then both teams have that potential. Personally I am irritated if I play an assassin and my damage does not finish off an adc before they can melt me. That just means I didn't perform my role well enough to stop them, since I DO happen to successfully assassinate adc's when I am playing my role correctly and well. This whole post seems more like a complaint for getting owned than a balance complaint.

The idea of a team game is each member plays it's role. It's unreasonable to expect every role to have the same impact. If you want to be the carry, play a carry. As far as lifesteal, grevious wounds helps. Also, try assassin. Deleting an adc is possible before they outright melt you (which is their job late game). If that doesn't work, try engage champs, then back off when they target you and let your assassins/burst mages wreck them while they target you. There is counterplay and there are options, but equalizing the damage output is the same as equalizing all roles/champs. Where would the fun and diversity be in that?

Never analyzed MMR change based on role. Sounds like op.gg uses a weird system to calculate MMR that isn't related to Riot's. Riot is super secretive. It's rumored even Riot doesn't understand their own MMR system. It's THAT SECRET!

I typically know which one I am going once game starts. You have to think about which will be available to you, and what is needed. If you have a melee heavy opponent team, then chances are you will be getting your red form filled first. If you face rang heavy, then chances are you will fill up blue first. Then you decide whether you want to wait 3+ minute for the other form that isn't offered. Red: Reasons for choosing - Your job is sustained damage and cc. You can even peel with your w if your adc gets in trouble. You work best vs heavy bruiser/tank teams. Advantage - Tank shredding bruiser. This form is really good vs an hp heavy opposing team. He's good for sustained damage and with a lifesteal item like DD of BT he can really stay in a fight extensively. Disadvantage - Not as much mobility as shadow assassin (blue), so it's a little tougher to recover from a missed w. Harder to escape then blue form with your e if hit with cc. Blue: Reasons for choosing - The opposing team is range and burst heavy. Your job is to hit the back line and erase whoever the carry is and try to get out. Advantages - Higher mobility and burst. You can keep positioning even as you activate your w. Your e allows for a quick escape if things go poorly for you. Disadvantages - Sustained damage isn't your thing. If you get focused by a group, you are pretty much done for unless you get out very quickly.
