You didnt used to have to go pick things up. They recently added that to justify their monetization little legend. There really is zero reason to have little legends in the game at all. Especially not while two silver Nids are keeping everyone up just fine until Swain pops. Two seconds later they're all dead. Often Swain is alone before his ability pops. The fight ends with him at max health and me dead. Silver Blitz, Silver Warwick , Silver Sejuani, Gold Vayne, Bronze Ashe, Silver Nid x2. Only Vayne survived each encounter, because she didn't jump into melee. Ashe was just there for Glacial level 1. She melted earlier on.

: To be honest, you can still come in top 4 in ranked regardless of a shitty start. Build economy and even if you don't get 2 stars, first on carousels helps a lot. By second carousel, you can get a second spatula, combined with your econ that has allowed you to outlevel others, you'll have a huge numbers advantage. Granted, it's a terrible start and you'll likely not get first, I consistently get top 4 if I'm screwed early. That being said, can't you surrender at any time? I didn't think it was gated. Just press esc and then surrender yeah? Also, you say champion shards you don't need? Do you mean you're trying to force a comp and not take what's given? Like, you wanna do knights, but it gives you 3 graves, but you don't want graves, so you opt out of getting 2* graves? Or are you saying, you have a whole bench of options and your options never come up?

: I’m sorry, I’m trying to understand. How exactly is boosting capable in a game where your opponents are picked at random every round? A party can’t single out one person as an opponent because it’s all random. The only advantage a party could have is saving carousel options for other people (which isn’t guaranteed to help anyway due to the other players + positional ranks according to hp) or agreeing not to buy x champions from x comp so others have a better chance at 3 star (which again, isn’t guaranteed if other players build the same comps or get better rolls). I don’t really think what you said is applicable to how tft functions from a game mechanics point of view. Boosting isn’t simple, it’s practically not possible.

It takes 2+ first place wins to recover from an 8th place loss. There are times you dont get any LP from 4th place either. The system is pretty bad considering the amount of RNG thats baked into every aspect of the game.

I could not agree more. Deal with the crazy overpowered items. Deal with the stacking of said items. Dont offer a band-aid for a problem that is a gushing chest wound.

Except its not, I specifically mentioned gunslingers and blademasters who get multiple extra added attacks outside of their attack speed. Then there are rangers who get bonus attack speed from their class. Also, using your example, 2 rageblades are made using 4 bows. 4x bows are +0.8 attack speed. A .70 base +.80 is now a base of 1.5. Meaning within 12s anyone would hit the cap of 2.5 attack speed, wild origin teams will hit it faster then that as will rangers. Gunslingers, and Blademasters will attack for more than 2.5 attacks per secon immediately and without 2 rageblades.

I agree OP. Ive started looking at DoTA autochess and other options as the direction this game is taking is not fun and 100% going against what I enjoy. Perma-CC, Denial (Hush, Cursed Blade, Swordbreaker, Demon origin and now Hextech origin) and the vast differences in the amount of items given to each player in particular.

If you are losing you can choose and build whatever item you wish. Even when I win from the beginning to the end of a match I can still build 2-3 items of my choice every single game. Even at 6 yordles, its a 55% dodge rate, 1 of every 2 attacks hits....build an RFC and every attack hits

How about balancing the items in the game so they arent ridiculously overpowered instead of adding an Origin to just outright RNG block their use? Im sick and tired of their concept of denial in this game. If I gather a 3star unit as part of my comp, the last thing I want to see is an item dropping it down to a 0star unit or seeing 3/4 of my team frozen in ice from second 4 of the match until its over or Demon origin draining all mana so my champs cant do anything but autoattack, ect. Hot garbage.

Morellonomicon, Red Buff, Zephyr, Morganna, Glacial all shut her down. Dragon origin is also nerfed from 100% MR to 83% MR in the 9.15 patch. I mean, how many more ways did you need to counter her?

: my varus had red buff but it didn't matter because each of the dragons attacks either one shot my people or took them down to nearly no health while healing up most of it own health to the point that it basically even negated the amount of health it lost at the start from my phantom bonus

: you dont have to remember anything.. you can literally drag items on top of each-other and it tells you what it makes but besides the point this was merely the observation that maybe utility items for supports could be implemented eventually... if riot is gonna stick to this for any extended amount of time (and they said they will) diversity is gonna matter in items just as much as it does units they already said that there would be rotating seasons of units some day in the future, so who knows
