: Is it mandatory that LCS players HAVE to shake hands at the end of the game?
> [{quoted}](name=Wolf Of The Dawn,realm=EUW,application-id=yrc23zHg,discussion-id=NiVNNa9K,comment-id=,timestamp=2018-06-29T20:35:52.137+0000) > > I was thinking, imagining myself as an LCS player, let's say one game, i'm playing mid and everytime i get ganked by 4 players of the enemy team. And this goes for the entire game. At the end of the game i'm obviously pretty annoyed, and either i won or lost that game, i wouldn't shake hands with enemy team. It's called basic sportsmanship and having a shred of decency. You shake hands to show you're a good sport and respect your opponents. Not doing something that takes a couple of seconds is childish and, frankly, makes you (and, by extension, your team) look like sore losers/sour winners. Just because you got ganked a few times doesn't mean you can forgo sportsmanship. That's just the epitome of sore loser. (Also tells me you're the typical solo-queue trash) Even if you think it's "forced", it's all a part of being good sports and putting on a good show. (Also, y'know, not being a dick to your opponents?)

: sejuani 46% winrate and declining pick rate - can we revert?
Old Sejuani was a clunky mess of confused abilities. She had low sticking power and couldn't do her job, which was soak damage and pressure squishies. Her W was the dumbest ability known to man, infamous for not even working more than half the time and having laughably worthless impact the times it DOES work. Her E was a hilarious joke of an ability; it either did decent damage as Full AP Sejuani or it did fuck-all because you had no AP and the slow was worthless. I will say her current passive is lame, though, because it's just Aftershock without the shatter damage. What I want them to do: - She needs a passive, that's the long and short of it. When it's so easy to break her current passive and keep her from regaining it, she might as well not even have one. At the very least, make it a barrier that shatters after taking enough damage. - Revert her E nerfs. The nerfs to her E were stupid since there's no point in maxing it anymore. The stun doesn't last long enough to get a Shatter proc. - Her ult needs to have its effectiveness-over-range equalized. Why does her ult lose potency if you have to use it point-blank? That just seems unfair for a tank that wants to be in your face. - Her Q hitbox feels inconsistent. This is more of a general League problem, as hitboxes are random and do not work as intended. It goes from hitting at max range, even though it didn't look like you touched the sod, to ramming into someone and very clearly hitting but they somehow don't get hit. (Don't lie to me, you KNOW it's a problem. If you say it isn't, you are just wrong.) - Reduce the slow on her W a bit and put it on the first swing instead of the second. Hitting the second swing is annoyingly difficult right now and neuters her damage output if the enemy isn't walking in a straight line.
: Is an Ashe buff needed?
I think Ashe is in a really good spot, balance-wise, she's just being outclassed by insta-bursting ranged assassins---sorry, ADCs, like Caitlyn. Fights end too quickly and there are too many reliable ways to engage on her. For Ashe to become meta again, the meta itself needs to shift towards extended engages with lower burst.

Gotta at least keep the story straight sheesh The story changes all the time. It's been a long time since anyone had any sort of idea what they were talking about when it comes to gameplay and balance. "Jungle decides the game!" The jungle is very important right now due to level 2-3 ganks being essential, but I would hesitate to say it decides the game, at least single-handedly. It's easy to get overconfident and throw your lead due to greed. Jungle can't 1v5; it just creates enough pressure to make a lot of players crack. "ADC decides the game!" I agree ADCs are overtuned mainly due to the ease of access to their power spikes. (Zeal items are hilariously cheap.) But they're usually behind in levels and usually aren't able to function well without their teammates to peel. "Worst player decides the game!" Yeah, well, you don't know who's going to be the worst player until it happens, so that one's kind of tor%%%%ed. "Bot lane decides the game!" That can happen when duo lanes are meta. Which they are, and have been for years. Two people in the same lane can be a gamble if something goes awry; twice as many deaths in that lane, usually, so twice as much gold. The story will never be consistent since people always find something new to complain about as the "NEXT BIG THING KILLING LEAGUE".

Sad that Dawngate got shut down, that was a really good MOBA. Not a League or DotA killer, but would have been a great fourth take on classic top-down MOBA style, taking a rightly-earned spot alongside LoL, DotA 2, and HotS. I guess HotS served as a suitable replacement, although more good games to go around simply is only a good thing. If only it hadn't been under EA's oppressive rule.

Garen mechanically is brain dead. Doesn’t mean the person playing them is, just the champion doesn’t require much thinking "(even in jest, it's only used to degrade something)" Did you read that or did you just want to prove my point? Calling Garen "braindead" is rather unfair since even the simplest champions still require some amount of strategic thinking. "When can I go in," "Am I going to survive if they dive me," "Should I buy TBC or Sunfire," "Am I risking too much by staying", "What is the threshold on my ult's execution," etc. Yes, Garen is the most mechanically SIMPLE champion, but I still think the term "braindead" is wrong since it implies that there is absolutely 0 thought process when playing that character.

Tack on "retarded", "brain-dead" (even in jest, it's only used to degrade something), and especially "autistic" (more specifically, when it's used as an insult) to that list, and you'll cover all of the bases, I think. Sadly, I still see "Autistic" as an insult at least once a day without having to look for it. That's the one on the list out of all of them that boils my blood.

You didn't elaborate at all with any real take, just "Armor sucks, MR too good, discuss." Maybe elaborate next time. Still, here's my take on it: Armor being terrible isn't anything new. I think it's been a problem since ArPen got reworked into Lethality, maybe even before. Also, Last Whisper getting a boost to 40% AND going through Bonus Armor instead of Total Armor shreds off far too much defense; A tank with 400 Armor just lost 160. 160! That's 2 Thornmails worth of Armor! That's not even counting bonus shred from Sudden Impact, Vayne's W or other abilities that reduce/ignore Armor, The Black Cleaver, Lethality, and more. It's to the point that with only a couple items, a tank with 4-5 Armor items can get close to being reduced to their BASE ARMOR. Armor isn't ineffective, persay; items are LOADED with it. Armor SHRED is simply too effective and there are too many reliable ways to simply ignore it. (i.e.: Shiv-RFC-IE will do butt-smashing damage as MAGIC) If Armor is going to be effective, there needs to be fewer ways for AD-only characters to punch through it without risk.

A component would be like every 30 seconds your next auto does bonus 50-125 physical damage comparable with {{item:3145}} (new zeal passive basicly). crit item combinations would round up to worse. Example 2 crit items Fastest + slowest would end up with A,C,A,C,A over C,A,C,A. Yasuo would get A,A,A,C formula for every crit item he has forces him on A,C,A,C,A formula with any crit item and C,C,C,C,C with 2 crit items. What you are suggesting is essentially still Rng but with extra cancer NO, less power doesnt justify extra cancer, you even made cancer scale with luck based cancer WHAT AN ACTUAL FK. Just because you call it "Cancer" over and over doesn't make your statement mean anything. Chanting "it's cancer! This is cancer! Everything is cancer!" repeatedly like a broken record really just makes it seem like you wanna complain, but can't find any words to complain with. I agree on a conceptual level that randomness in a competitive game is rather silly, but among those that actually play the game well (i.e.: Masters+), randomness turns into something a nonfactor. Basing your entire fight around "Can I get this RNG to work?" means it was never a beneficial fight. As for your system...Erm...I hate to tell you, but it's far too convoluted and makes things even worse, due to guaranteeing Crits being extremely OP. I could be like you and just chant "CANCER CANCER CANCER" like someone with a Zodiac Sign fetish, but I think just one look at your unhelpful post says more than I could ever.
: Kind of wish they'd throw out critical entirely. It's insane how much damage crit does, and you're talking about exponential increases to DPS without actually building up your damage. Critical Strike's existence certainly isn't my first choice, but it's not going away any time soon, so might as well fix what we're stuck with rather than wish it gone. Makes more sense to me.
: Critical Strikes Items are in need of a rework. (Complete with Reworks Inside)
In response to Glory97's concerns, I spent a bit of time playing around with the idea of making an alternate version of Essence Reaver where it gains Critical Strikes. Keep in mind nothing is final, I'm just trying to find a compromise since my proposed rework would leave a lot gaps for AD. Possible new items: _**Mana Sickle**_ Cost: 900g **Build Path:** Brawler's Gloves + Longsword + 150g +10 AD +10% Critical Strike Chance UNIQUE Passive - Mana Reaver (Killing a unit with a basic attack restores 1% of your maximum mana. The mana restore is automatically triggered on Critical Strikes, and doubled if the killing blow was a Critical Strike.) --- _**Aether Scythe**_ Cost: 1900g **Build Path:** Mana Sickle + Brawler's Gloves + 600g +20 AD +20% Critical Strike Chance UNIQUE Passive - Mana Reaver (Damaging a large or epic jungle monster or an enemy champion with basic attacks restores 0.5% of your maximum mana. Killing a unit with a basic attack doubles mana restored. Mana restored is doubled upon a Critical Strike.) --- Affected Item: _**Essence Reaver**_ Cost: 3500g **Build Path:** Aether Scythe + Caulfield's Warhammer + Longsword + 150g +60 AD +25% Critical Strike Chance +10% CDR UNIQUE Passive - Mana Reaver (Damaging a unit with basic attacks restores 1% of your maximum mana. Mana restored is halved against lane minions (except for Cannon Minions) and small jungle monsters (Small Wolves, Baby Raptors, Small/Mini Krugs). Mana restored is doubled upon a Critical Strike. Champion takedowns restore 5% of your maximum mana.)

: Now that I thought about it, my suggestions have their weaknesses aswell. If crit is reduced, to 150% from 200%, it would be terrible to go {{item:3508}} + {{item:3087}} first (like xayah or maybe lucian build right now). It doesn't allow much item choice aside from going ie+ zeal-item first. Maybe we should think about making essence reaver viable as first item, with an effect that doesn't stack with inifnity edge, maybe a weaker version of this crit-damage-debuff. Or make a miniatur essence reaver, that gives cd- and mana effects on crit, but no ad stats, at a decently cheap price. **Edit: Oh wait, i didn't include your suggested itemchanges, where essence reaver is not crit oriented anymore. Nevermind then xD**

Possibly. I'll fiddle around with a mini-ER item to try and make it worth anything, but I'm trying my best to keep ER from being pigeonholed back into "Build Crit or be useless". I'll keep the post going to the best of my ability and try to update it with some potential item updates outside of just Zeal + IE.
: I imagine those changes making adc somewhat weak when they just got {{item:3031}} + {{item:3086}} , as they don't have the attackspeed to get 5 stacks onto the enemy in a short ammount of time.

In fairness, IE > Zeal is usually the wrong way around, at least from last I knew. It was usually Zeal Item (Shiv, typically) > IE, and that Zeal Item gives them the AS they need. Also, Legend: Alacrity and Precision passive bonuses all add a huge glop of AS on. But I also haven't slept a wink, so I might be rambling on nonsense. Still, thanks for contributing, feedback is always helpful.

: I think that the only thing that needs to be changes is the crit damage. Reduce it to 150% from 200% and you will get rid of the "sustained burst damage" for the most part. ADC's will still be able to deal a big amount of sustained damage but not with that 1000+ damage with one aa to the tank.

Yup, thank you for the suggestion, already fixed in the edit; Glory97 above pointed it out too, which was a solid point. Glad you guys took a shine to the post, though! I was worried about getting downvote nuked for trying to "NERF ADCS INTO USELESS".
Glory97 (EUW)
: I can see that you tried to fix the burst per second issue in your passive changes of ie, but from my perspective "making 3 auto-attacks", is not enough to fix probelems. 3 auto attacks is a matter of 1.5 second in a teamfight, and the difference between 200% 220%, 240% and 250% crit damage is not too impactful. Since assassins are unlikely to initiate a teamfight, when they try to assassinate the adc, the adc will probably have his ie stacked already, making him burst squishies just as fast as before. I would love to see the your effect of ie applied as a debuff towards the enemy. Kind of how black cleaver works. With every auto-attack the target gets more vulnerable against crits. Crits will do 150% dmg to targets without debuff, 180% dmg to targets with 1 stack, 210% against 2 stack debuff, up to 300% at 5 stack debuff. If the target is not attacked for 8 seconds the debuff will disappear.

This is actually a wonderful suggestion and was an idea I was toying with; Critical Strikes as a base would be weaker because 2x right off the bat is a little much, but IE allows it to ramp up to what we see right now. Thank you for chiming in, I'll mess with IE and edit it in (with credit, ofc).

: Practice. =) I still suck at Vayne, but I feel like I've definitely gotten better. As you play more you'll make mistakes, just pay attention to when something goes badly, and when your screen turns gray, try to honestly analyze why it's no longer colorful and do your best to not make the same mistake again. Vayne is no different then any other role / champ in that regard, some champs just take more practice and are less forgiving when errors are made. ^.^ Actually, I duo with my wife a lot, and she typically begs me not to pick Vayne in the off chance I get stuck as adc since I normally fill. This is mostly because of how horrible I did with her when I started out. She still doesn't like me to pick her, and while I'm still not very good, as are a lot of people I run into, I'm much more confident in my abilities to play her. I'm never, at this point, the hyper carry she can be, but I've gotten to where for the most part I'm not hurting my team and in most cases at least I can hold my own. And when you do finally, either by lesson learned or pure luck, pull off some fancy mechanical outplay it feels really good! Just keep trying, you will get her eventually!

: Came back to this game after a two month break, and wow, just wow...
Have you tried Heroes of the Storm yet? It's certainly the most "casual" of MOBAs out there, but I've personally been enjoying it a lot. I've played it since the Beta went live (Closed, bought the pre-release package that gave access + stuff), and I'm enjoying my time with it. It's certainly a lot quicker than LoL, but the design is built around that; it's more akin to a MOBA/Brawler fusion than just a pure LoL-like.
: On one hand people are complaining about Stopwatch making games longer, and others saying...
Both, actually. Damage is running rampant, so instead of reigning it in, we get Stopwatch. Now people are encouraged in every game to play like a single death means the game is over because...Well yeah, a single death DOES mean the game is over! If you saw LCS on the new patch, there was NO action forever. In one game, I think there were less than 10 kills TOTAL by the time the game went to 35-40 minutes. Why? Because every death is worth so much and damage is so cheap to obtain that giving your opponent ANY money and XP that isn't minion/objectives is practically equivalent to throwing the game. If damage comes down across the board (which I doubt is going to happen since Riot insists on trying to make even pro games end within 25 minutes), then Stopwatch will fall out of favor with it. It would still be a good rune, but it would become much more situational, seeing use primarily against high-burst champions like most Assassins and some Mages (Lux says hi). (Also since we're on the "What to fix" bandwagon: First Blood Tower needs to go away, gold in general could certainly use some work, ADC items are far too cheap and give too many stats, "late game" is now starting at 15-20 minutes, Kleptomancy cannot be salvaged, and at least a few thousand more things that escape my mind.)

Very much this. It's always been something that bothers me when "Autistic" is used interchangeably with "Stupid" "Idiotic" or, as the more vulgar (and common) examples would put it..."Retarded". Trash-talking is fine, but I highly doubt "Autistic" as an insult stays within the realm of decent-hearted ribbing. (My opinions are rather biased since I personally have A.S.D., so take it for what you will)
: CertianlyT appreciation thread
I got nothing against CertainlyT as a person, but he lets his creative vision rush ahead of healthy design. Yes, his designs ARE creative, but there's an issue with creativity: without someone to pull him back to Planet Earth, we end up with {{champion:429}} {{champion:157}} {{champion:142}} instead of his more grounded work like {{champion:19}} . Are CertainlyT's champions fun to play? Sure, but playing AGAINST them is a different story. They are unfun slogfests to fight that rely more on the player screwing up than it does the opponent playing better. Yasuo has Wind Wall, Zoe has her Sleep Bubble and crazy bouncing "skill"shot, and Kalista is a mistake that should be deleted from the game. They have to be kept numerically low-ish to account for how much is in their kit, making them either OP or mediocre, depending on how their numbers are and if their items are really good.

: What champion skill's animate/sound best matches how much damage it does?
{{champion:202}} 4th shot on Whisper, or 4th shot of Curtain Call. Whisper was almost my instant pick for "best SFX/VFX in the game" due to how satisfying it is once you get a couple items and just FOUR them. There's just this big frickin' bullet that pops them from 30% to 0% with some of the most pants-tightening awesome SFX. As for Curtain Call...I love hearing that music end in time with the very audible sound of the 4th shot landing on a kill. It feels like you just shot a small nuke at them and it's wonderful. {{champion:99}} Dumping her full combo onto someone while using Elementalist and deleting them from the game is just incredibly satisfying. Magma, Ice, and Mystic are my favorite forms by far, including their quotes for when she ults. "MAGMA!" "FREEZE!" "DEMENTIA!" Inferal {{champion:75}} specifically. More specifically, his Q after a few hundred stacks and Trinity Force. Dropping W-E-Q and watching their life bar disappear is incredibly cathartic, if for no other reason than after 20 minutes of getting thrashed in lane. (I don't play Nasus a lot.)
: You're now a Rioter. What's the first (reasonable/semi-reasonable) thing you do?
Well that depends on how limited my power as a Rioter would be. If I got on the Champion Design team(s), then I would do my absolute damndest to make sure someone is always reigning in CertainlyT to prevent train wrecks like Yasuo, Zoe, and Kalista from ever happening again. General Gameplay teams: Completely repeal the Runes Reforged update and start from scratch. Runes Reforged is personally my least favorite update in League of Legends. Balance is a mess, some trees are clearly superior, others are a joke (Domination sucks as a primary tree), and a lot of the runes are flat-out unusable. (Inspiration secondary runes are a joke.) Story & Lore teams: I would form one, first of all since there really doesn't seem to be one at the moment. Then, once they're there, start cracking the whip and establishing the Runeterra world proper. Also, writing in a reason for the League of Legends (AKA the game) to exist is high on the list of things to do. Public Relations teams: Enough with the copy-paste politician answers. No more back-handed ways of saying "We're right, you're wrong, so shut up." Communication, as it turns out, is how to keep the developers and community in touch. Who'dathunk? This is probably why I'm not a Rioter since I'd be a lot more strict and critical than Riot's current structure.

: What are some champs you hate playing against even when they are bad.
{{champion:16}} An infuriating infinite-sustain healer that, if you aren't Leona, will just sit back throwing non-stop Qs until you die and never run out of HP and mana, even if you dodge every Q. (Mainly because ADCs have a bad habit of standing in Starcall) {{champion:29}} If this guy gets a double kill early on, just let the lane go. At that point, anything except a 4v2 is going to result in a multi-kill for Twitch. {{champion:429}} Even at her lowest point when she was a troll pick, I hated her. I still hate her. She jumps more than an [removed by moderator] rabbit hopped up on crack. Her stacking Rend damage is stupidly high and works far too well with PTA. Her infinite mana in lane due to Rend refunds. I hate everything about Kalista. {{champion:119}} The official brain-dead ADC with 0 higher-functioning mechanics. Catch axes that practically come to you and chunk people for over 120/auto at level 3 with a Longsword. If you pick anyone that doesn't have the capability to kill him instantly, he's going to rush a Vamp Scepter and heal back stupid amounts of HP, usually able to drain-tank the damage. {{champion:64}} I've said it before and I'll say it again: Lee Sin is horrible to play against. "Just outscale him!" in a meta where games end the moment an outer tower falls? Great advice 10/10
: League of legends play of the game?
It could be a cute concept, but I think those resources are better allocated to fixing systems already in the game, like Death Recap. Play of the Game would also be very difficult to implement in LoL. How does the game easily tell what was the "play of the game" especially when the biggest plays in a game these days are just double kills then a FF@15-20? It would simply be confusing and lead to a bunch more carry favoritism. Overwatch's Play of the Game rarely shines a light on anyone except the Offense holding down LMB or a single ult. (Or both, if you're Soldier: 76)
: Yup, what a crushing patch for sona mains.
I actually don't think it's that bad for Sona. The ratio increase on her Q Aura is nice for going into mid-game, and doesn't even hurt her laning that much. 10% extra AP scaling is really easy to underestimate. The mana cost increase was unnecessary, IMO, although it makes Manaflow Band very good on her now for making through laning phase. The Kleptomancy range loss isn't that big; you'll barely notice it. If you couldn't proc it before, you can't now, and it's not even that hard to use anyway. Sona's still in a pretty cozy spot for mains and can still stand toe-to-toe effectively with other poke supports. Taking Kleptomancy, even post-nerf, and asserting dominance early on will usually result in her getting more gold than her ADC. Her Aura's damage reduction won't even be noticeable. It's very easy to get sucked in the hate-hype and see every nerf as a gutting. Initially, that's what I thought it was. Then I took a step back and saw it was only her Aura losing 10/rank and a mana cost increase that'll get forgotten easily with how mana-efficient her build path is (Tear first back, never be able to notice the cost increase). I'm just saying: Chill out a bit.

Where you are in perfect synch with your champion and you just take over. Yet you feel no pressure, or intensity; just pure serenity. Multiple times, though it's hard for me to specifically remember any of them since my mind tends to go on auto-pilot. I think the most recent case of this for me would be this game: https://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/2636835748/215695406?tab=overview Our pre-game lobby was awkward and nobody really communicated. With not much time to spare, I ended up mid and panic-picked Varus. For the rest of the game, it felt like I played absolutely flawlessly. 1v2s, 1v3s, even a few 1v4s later on were common and I was able to ace most of them with very little issue. Katarina was my mid opponent and it was clear to me she had 3 critical errors: 1) Over-aggression against a ranged opponent, 2) Critical knowledge failure of Varus mechanics, and 3) Critical knowledge failure of her own character. The game was a total stomp and I felt transcendent the entire game; like my soul just ascended to a higher plane of existence where Faker once resided. Of course, after that game, my bubble totally burst and I played horribly every game after, but for that one game, I was in the moment every moment. After the game, when I lost "The Zone", I reflected on it for a bit and told my friends "I felt like Ruler the entire game. It was incredible."

Sona needs a full-scale rework to get anywhere. The main parts of her kit that needs to stay is her ult and her identity as a poke-heavy enchanter.

Poke, Dot, battle mages have very little options. > Like if you really want to cater the entire mage class you will probably need like 5 keystones, Seriously 5? Probably more like 6+. The mage class is one of the most diverse in the game since all that you need to do for a Mage is cast spells as your primary source of damage. That leaves so many options.
: Is Aery busted on champions other than Sona? That's what we need to ask first before changing anything.
> [{quoted}](name=Variks the Loyal,realm=NA,application-id=3ErqAdtq,discussion-id=3jFx4P4j,comment-id=0005,timestamp=2017-11-14T19:28:27.987+0000) > > Is Aery busted on champions other than Sona? > > That's what we need to ask first before changing anything. I see Aery being taken over just about every keystone on casters since it's such a reliable source of damage. Many times, Arcane Comet and Phase Rush are completely ignored since Aery is just better. Enchanters all love Aery since they get free shields in addition to their healing. Poke mages use it as a reliable damage source. Mages in general that aren't going Electrocute are going Aery for the poke, even if they have nothing that uses the shield. Sona is able to use Aery to its fullest extent since she can get it off constantly with her mid-range spells. Sona is the BIGGEST abuser, but I wouldn't say the only one.
: Well they can either nerf Sona directly or nerf her indirectly twice by first nerfing her runes then buffing her competitors who use those same runes. Since buffing the other enchanters will not be received well by the community so soon after the ardent situation, I think it is unfortunately best to nerf her directly. That being said, I expect they will end up nerfing her AND Aery, not because it is necessary but because it is the thing to do these days.
> [{quoted}](name=Tenth Leper,realm=NA,application-id=3ErqAdtq,discussion-id=3jFx4P4j,comment-id=0001,timestamp=2017-11-14T18:57:02.373+0000) > > That being said, I expect they will end up nerfing her AND Aery, not because it is necessary but because it is the thing to do these days. Riot has had a hate-boner for Sona for a long while now. Her mini-update was still one of the worst ideas to date. She's seen nerf after nerf, gut after gut, but doesn't seem to receive any buffs. Taking a shotgun approach to nerfing Sona is going to destroy the champion. In my eyes, it's already well on its way. They've shown they just don't know what to do with her. They don't know her identity or how to handle her. Riot scares me because they've made it crystal clear how unsafe it is to get attached to Sona since they're not going to hold back on her. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if they removed her altogether at some point.

She's only strong because of how busted Aery (and Sorcery in general) are at the moment. Nerf Sona again and she goes in the dumpster. When 2 entire trees are a problem (considering that Sorcery is exclusively using Aery with only Phase Rush being an exception), they need to be fixed.

: Does This Honestly Deserve A Perma-Ban?
Being toxic is still being toxic. If you already had a 14-day punishment, you're on paper-thin ice. Another punishment = permanent, regardless of the severity. If this chatlog was your decider for your 14-day punishment, then I would say "No, but a ranked ban and chat restriction would be warranted". But you pushed the limits and paid the price. I'm sorry your account got banned; that's never fun, coming as someone that has received multiple punishments and didn't learn their lesson until a 14-day ban got slapped on my account. The best thing you can do now is to improve your attitude. Try practicing some form of anger control; yell instead of type, hit a pillow, squeeze a stress ball, and take a break in-between games. (Stretching is good for you.)
: All the Aery's look the same
I feel like it'd be a fun little thing to play around with if you could actually customize your Aery a bit. Make it a bit more personalized to you. Granted, there would still need to be some way to distinguish the two at a glance (a red/blue team glow, like you suggested), but I actually like Aery more as a companion than a rune. It's just too darn cute and makes me feel like I have my own little Carbuncle!

: If you're assigned the Marksman/ AD Carry role, I expect 3 things from you
When I play ADC: 1 is a sin I commit too often, especially if I play someone like Jhin that has a window to go in with. 2 I curb my tongue as often as I can. I won't go off after each death, and I'm more likely to beat myself up than my team. Usually it ends up a bone-headed decision that kills me. 3 I experience the inverse: when the 30-35 minute mark hits, I feel like no matter who I play, I just fall off since everyone gets on the same playing field.
: Who has the most satisfying execute ult?
I have to give it to Jhin. When the music kicks in, the camera zooms out, and the sound of the 4th shot blasting an opponent back to base is just beyond satisfying to me. Landing Whisper is also amazing; "Breathe in the atmosphere..." **_FOUR!_** "Only perfection." Actually, when I think about it more and more, Jhin has gone from one of my top 5 worst designs to one of my top 10 favorite champions. Everything about his character is captivating; he IS an artist, one that paints with bloodshed. What always makes him creepy to me is that...He really does paint a beautiful picture with his kills. Each one is a work of art. The preparation, the thrill of "the hunt" (or "the zone" as artists usually get into), the ecstasy of the finality, then the disappointment that is its end. Whenever it's perfect, it's at its most flawed because you'll never match it again. Also, his music is beyond amazing. His login screen is something I want forever, and his ult music is heart-pounding. Not in that it gets you hyped like DJ Sona's music, but it puts you in "the hunt" with Jhin; you're looking for perfection with him. Immersion is a game like League of Legends is so hard to pull off, but the level of engagement I feel with him is exhilarating. {{champion:202}} "The trigger on a loaded weapon...whispers for us to act." Quotes like this just bring the experience beyond engaging; it becomes a moment. Each 4th shot is a thrill. Each fade in/out of his music when he speaks is a treat. Jhin is truly one of my favorites.

: The most recent one I saw on youtube was cringe worthy. Riot, understand. We are GAMERS. GAMERS have their own lingo, I'm sure you know. The lingo used in LoL is NOT exclusive to LoL. Especially the word "Noob". "Noob" (outside of Mortal Kombat) has a very static and concrete meaning, and is derogatory in the world of GAMERS. DO NOT CALL PROSPECTS "NOOBS" OR "BAD". You must not want folks who played with a negative experience coming from toxic players coming back. And using those words are going to make groups like those in the great Overwatch and Smite exodus players laugh at the ad. I'm not insulting you. I am just saying, you are insulting players. Approach differently, please. Something more inspiring, and not an inspirational 'put-down'.

In all fairness, Riot is just following modern ad trends. Ads these days are trying to be "inspirational put-downs" or trying to spin something incredibly negative (like the genuine addictive qualities to Netflix or workaholics doing irreparable damage to themselves by working so much) as a positive quality. It's not just Riot, it's a good number of ads. I'm not defending Riot's horrible adverts since, even ignoring the negative underlying connotations (like "Noob" being used repeatedly in phrases like "You are a noob" in Riot's commercial, despite "Noob" being an insult), they're just terribly done. But it's hard to pick apart just Riot's adverts for the negative-as-positive garbage. It's a trend that they're trying to follow.
: Anyone else miss Quinn's old ultimate
Yes, I do, extremely much so. I find reworked Quinn to be extremely boring, mostly on the basis that she lost her identity. Riot couldn't decide if she should have been an assassin or a marksman in the rework, so they tried to do both and only got the worst parts of each. Watered-down, mediocre, Harrier still unreliable as all dick. Old Quinn was at least a really fun skirmisher and was my favorite pocket-pick for top.
