: Uh. I don't get what reference is being made here. Dark Souls is a Hard Game(tm), but theres no real champ select etc there and champ select stuff doesn't pertain to difficulty, so what am I missing?

: I can't remember who said it, but I remember hearing someone say that every player in League is considered shit except for Faker. When an LCS Challenger player makes a mistake, everyone is like, "This guy sucks. How is this dumbass Challenger?". But if Faker makes a mistake it's just, "Oh, Faker made a mistake." So remember, kids. No matter what division you are, you're shit at League of Legends. Unless you're Faker.

I think we're moving toward the point where even Faker gets this. "Faker missed X thing -- is he in decline??!?!?!!1" But yes. We're all bad. And acknowledging that, then trying to improve bit by bit in every game, is the only way to grow as players.

: Best champion to one trick?
I play only Diana most games. I'd say the best champ to one-trick is the one you like most; I'd bet that most OTPs play a champ they really connect to mechanically or otherwise (as opposed to, say, starting from "hmm, how can I carry?"). There's a reason there are OTPs in high ELO for almost any champ, and it's not the individual strength of the champion. tl;dr: Find a champ you love to play and just keep playing him/her/it.

: > The ranked emblems system isn't retroactive, so it'll begin awarding emblems based on the first 25 wins you get after it launches. Nice now after six months of this cute DQ experiment all the boosted animals can start playing solo and avoid being called out on getting their friends to boost them. God bless. This would have actually been a decent addition if you made it retroactive but now it's useless for this season. Instead of calling this Season 6 you should have called it Season Beta, because that's what this crap has felt like all season long. Hope you can manage to get your stuff together by the time Season 7 rolls around.
If you can win 25 games solo without dropping tier isn't it safe to say you're holding your own?

: I find it hard to believe that a single game can last "generations". The game is so different now than it was in 2009, and it'll be so much more different in another 7 years. Sports like Baseball and Soccer never change and that's why they've become traditions. Not saying you guys shouldn't try, I'm just saying bravo if you succeed.
I'll admit that the "generations" thing is something that intimidates me (it sounds like a HUGE aspiration!). But I'm stoked to be a part of the mission.

Oh geez let me get in here real quick... Like we said [in the rotating game modes announcement](http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/news/game-updates/gameplay/announcing-rotating-game-mode-queue), we're not bringing URF back on April 1 (but it will be appearing at least twice this year). Popstar Urf posts lots of stuff on the site :)
: So I just played with a Rioter...
Just as an aside -- lots of Rioters don't have "Riot" on our names (like me, for example). So just because you haven't seen the tag in a game doesn't mean you haven't had a Rioter on your team (or on the other team). Folks around here play lots of League and sit in a wide spectrum of skill levels; it's probably more common than you might imagine to have a Riot person pop in your games. Course, the only thing that really matters is that everyone is being excellent to each other. {{sticker:slayer-pantheon-thumbs}}
: The page where they have the music has the Spotify logo there in addition to other platforms like soundcloud, so one would assume it would be on Spotify. But I am sad for I cannot find it.
It will be on Spotify! Just takes a couple of days for stuff to pop up everywhere.

There are the narrative folks of course, but there's others who work on stuff like champ spotlights and dev blogs and promos and everything else that has words on it. It's actually kind of crazy how much text League requires. As for juicy rumors... {{champion:37}}
: Is there any bias here?
As the dude who wrote the Fiora post, I can maybe shed a tiny bit of light on some of this: My job is telling stories about League and the work that goes on behind the scenes to keep it running, make new stuff, etc. Some of these stories will touch on tough topics like [Fiora](http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/news/riot-games/editorial/champion-update-and-flawed-fencer) and [the recall bug](http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/news/riot-games/editorial/total-recall-or-time-we-disabled-ranked), some will support new stuff like in-depth looks [at Foundations' Bilgewater work](http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/news/game-updates/special-event/building-bilgewater-pirate-renovation) or the way [artists think about animation](http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/news/champions-skins/champion-update/dev-blog-animation-poppy). There's no conspiracy about Cass -- her update just happened a year before I got hired. I told the Fiora story because Fiora's was the first controversial thing that happened after I came onboard. We're making a big effort to do a better job of telling these stories, but it's unlikely that we'll have bandwidth to compile stories from years gone by. All that said, folks around here do hear feedback (and feel it in really personal ways). Plus, everyone loves the hell out of League. If you're feeling something (good or bad) about a specific champ, someone here is feeling the same thing because they main that champ or have hundreds of hours on him/her. I can't speak to any specific champion update since I don't work on champion updates (I know that's not the ideal answer, right?), but the one thing I can say for sure is that people here are very much paying attention.

Spooky skins are coming, but it's a bit different this year. Here's the boards post explaining it: [http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/miscellaneous/fPoi9TfZ-about-the-harrowing](http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/miscellaneous/fPoi9TfZ-about-the-harrowing) Copy-paste: > Some of you have questions around the Harrowing this year, and we wanted to give you a quick update: > > In October, we shared that the Harrowing (and other seasonal events) are changing. You can check out [the PBE Boards post here](http://boards.pbe.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/general-pbe-feedback/Grefbrd1-a-note-about-the-harrowing?sort_type=recent) (sorry we didn’t post it to the main Boards as well, our bad). > > In short: We’re releasing Legacy skins from past Harrowing events later this week. Zombie / Slayer skins are also rolling out soon, so get those chainsaws ready. We wanted to get you in the mood with a dark and terrifying tale of the unliving, “Shadow and Fortune: A Harrowing Story,” as well as updated biographies for some of our Shadow Isles champions. > > And if you’re wondering about Snowdown, we have some great stuff in our bag of goodies that’ll look a little different from what you’ve previously seen. So hold on for info on that, we’ll share more once we have all the details sorted out. Hope that helps!

: Tips to jungling?
I've just recently started to jungle as well and it has been an incredible challenge. Foxdrop's videos ([like this one](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PyPxVhAC-Kg) )) have been a really big help to me. I'd say practice jungling (or any new role) in bot matches for a while until you really feel the rhythm, then take it into normal games for live practice. Don't be afraid to ask for leashes and other help along the way. I mostly jungle with Vi (because punching) but Sej is on my list once I feel comfortable in the role. Oh! And watch pro players jungle. It'll help you see the problems in your path and the places in which you could be doing better.
