The yordle layed on the ground for a moment as he tried to understand the words of Kindred, trying to get the meaning of what was happening with dificulty. _"Uhhgg... it's confusing... but... i think i get it..." -He said after a while- "So... there are like... only 2 of you, only 1 Lamb and 1 Wolf... The yordle seemed to be quite happy with the answer that the eternal hunters gave to him, however something worried him as well. _"I know that this may sound like the dumb worries of a mortal... but... During the moments of silence, the yordle stood up as he looked around at the marks of Kindred, thinking about the deaths and lives of the countless marked ones as he remembered the words of the Eternal Hunters... From small insects to the tallest trees, everything was from them to take. Did that include rocks as well? When the white spirit spoke again, Mietzen returned his attention to the twins, listening their words with open eyes. Feeling as if he had just woken up from a dream. _"The only true death is to never live..."_ -He repeated for himself before looking at the pair of spirits-_ "... But how about Death? .... "More than you think," he answered. "How many yordles are there?" Lamb asked rhetorically. "How many yordle children?" Wolf simply continued to gaze at Mietzen. His gaze added a supernatural pressure to the words Lamb was speaking. It was the fate of the man on the floor to die. Such was the fate of everything that lived. "How many yordle mummies? How long, do you think, until we take him?" she probed. Lamb walked over to Wolf and placed her hand on his head and pet his ears. Wolf was clearly happy with this, but he honestly seemed easy to please. Or maybe it was just Lamb. "Is realizing how close we are to all difficult for you? Are you in shock?" Lamb asked. "There are stories that are only supposed to be shared between me and Wolf," Lamb said sternly. "There are things that people aren't supposed to know until they're supposed to know them. Maybe then you may learn some of those stories. You may even get to hear us spin them." "Lamb's stories are the best," Wolf agreed. "I like her stories and her singing. She makes words prettier than anyone else." "I see the thoughts you are thinking, Meitzen. We want you to know something. Something we think that more yordles need to understand. We are real," Lamb continued. "What we do isn't a job. Everything we do happens according to fate. Mortals and even most spirits are all threads on a loom, woven into an ever expanding tapestry. We do not act in the way you think we do. Humans have a better idea of us in that sense, as their lives are much shorter and more fragile. They know that death is, that we happen, that we merely are. But when was the last time a yordle met us? All you know are stories." Wolf answered Meitzen's question. "I don't like too many words. We don't like people taking what is ours. The hunt is ours. Do not delay it. Do not shorten it. All things are ours to take." Lamb finished: "The weft and weave of fate guides. What is ours is ours; what happens, happens; what is, is."
_"I guess... that is kinda easy to forget how dangerous Runeterra is when when you spend most of your time in Bandle City. You guys are trying to tell me that destiny always arrives... and you are part of it"_ -And by "you" he was talking about death itself. ((Sorry for mentioning https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0AvWV6Mk374 Amumu when no one RPs as him and his lore is kinda vague, but its hard to avoid mentioning his legend when Mietzen is a yordle who lived in Shurima and is literally talking with death))

Wolf replied to Mietzen's other comment: "Chasing would be even more fun if it was harder. Mortals tire so easy." "So do you, Wolf," Lamb teased, eerily playful. Death had no real consequences for Kindred. After all, they were the reapers. It seemed that Lamb understood the gravity of their purpose, but her demeanor left so many questions hanging in the air. "No I don't," Wolf retorted quickly. His cunning didn't always help him understand the meaning behind Lamb's words. Still, he understood her heart. Or was it their heart? Lamb continued speaking, this time to Mietzen again. "We simply are," she explained. "Life is. We are. Perhaps I should tell you one of Wolf's favorite stories..." Wolf sat and stared in anticipation at Lamb. One could almost imagine him wagging his tail. He already knew the story, but he loved hearing it every time. He normally didn't care much for words, but these words were special. "There was once a pale man with dark hair who was very lonely..." Lamb began. "Why was he lonely?" Wolf asked. "Because all things must meet this man, but they all ran from him," she answered. "Did he chase them?" "He took an axe," she said, pausing for emphasis, "and he split himself in two. Right. Down. The middle." "So he would always have a friend?" "So he would always have a friend." Lamb fixed her eyes on the yordle. "What do you think?" she asked. "Do you know the answers to your questions? We sense the doubts swirling around inside of you. We know the question you meant to ask." "Is Lamb talking too much for you?"
For a brief moment, the Yordle chuckled when Lamb teased her partner, with the energy that the lupine spirit had it was hard to imagine him being tired, and as Wolf sat on the floor, Mietzen did the same in order to listen the story with attention. The eternal hunters behaved like persons, not animals moved by pure instinct or monsters motivated by malice... Sure, the job that they do in necesarry, but it was good to know that even Kindred had feelings. _"I feel like i could hear her stories forever..."_ -The yordle answered to Wolf sincerely, for yordles the concept of time was different than most of the mortals after all- _"... But i dont think that im allowed to do that... and there are holes to dig and caves that i have to find in the physical world"_ -He said animatedly as he turned his attention back to Lamb. _"I must admit that I do have other doubts... But... uhhh... there are things that you guys dont like? Like... i dont know... killing someone in a very specific way or something?"_ -Well, they werent mad about the shovel "incident", at that was good... They are Lamb to Wolf and Wolf to Lamb, and now Mietzen knows that.)) "We have many names across the universe. To all we are the Kindred. We are the Eternal Hunters," Lamb confirmed. It was obvious she was the talkative one. "We are not dreams. We are the waking." "We know what you think," Wolf added. "We know what is in your heart," Lamb continued, "To many, we are the most real thing in all existence. And we are the most real thing in your world right now. This is the moment of finality." The black spirit barked happily, "We take our mark!" "Mietzen," the white spirit explained seriously, "you killed someone. You are alive. And now you stand in reality. This is how things are. People die. Everything is as was you have seen and done, and everything is so much more than that. You see us here because in your regret and confusion you have found a moment of perfect clarity. We are normally only seen if we want to be. But we are always present. Many search for us but never find us until the moment of their final breath. Many people only have one such meeting with eternity, but here you are. Here you are, coming to grips with death."
The yordle heard the words of Kindred with attention as he tried to digest the information given by Lamb and Wolf, while he remembered the death of the human on the floor. People die, that was a fact as real as the twin spirits that were infront of the yordle. _"... sound like you guys have a hard job to do..."_ -He quietly commented, almost like he was talking to another yordle instead of Death incarnate, trying to imagine the infinite scenarios that Kindred had to see all the time, being present in the last moments of every single being of Runeterra without even being noticed... Maybe that last part was the scariest of all, Yordles were social beings, and most of them fear lonliness. Doing something like that alone sounded brutal, but Lamb and Wolf had each other... Maybe, in that regard, the Kindred Spirits and the Yordles were no so different. And hey! Wolf seemed to enjoy his "job" and that was good as well. _"... S-so"_ -The yordle finally asked after a brief moment of silence-_ "... The human will be... o-okay?"_ -Mietzen asked while pointing at the corpse of the chem-thug- _"I-I mean... He wont came back as some kind of specter looking for revenge.... R-Right?" _ Maybe that was either a dumb, or a disrespectful thing to ask. But considering that all the legends of undead creatures in Runeterra, it wasnt a far fetched question and the green spirit was genuinely worried about that posibility.

Wolf looked down at the terrified yordle and spoke to Lamb: "Look, Lamb. This one is afraid. Shall I take him too?" "Your chase would be pitifully short. Would you even have fun?" she replied. It was easy to see why that her pure white coat seemed to be covered in so many ashes. Though Lamb appeared gentle, her demeanor had its own special cruelty. Did she offer hope or finality? "He asked us a question," Wolf continued, truly acknowledging Mietzen. "Shall I answer?" "He already knows the answer," Lamb replied before replying to Mietzen himself. "Don't worry, Mietzen," she whispered, "it was his time. Don't worry, Mietzen. Even if we told the Bandle Gunners, they wouldn't be able to hear us." "Be afraid, Mietzen," Wolf growled, turning Lamb's monologue into a dialogue, their voices running together like streams joining into a river, "I always win my chases." "My arrows never miss their mark," Lamb added. "What are we?" Wolf asked, relishing in the fear of mortals as well as the joy of a successfully completed hunt. "We are Wolf to Lamb." "And Lamb to Wolf." Did these two always answer questions in such roundabout ways?
At first, the yordle got surprised that the twin spirits knew his name, but when Lamb told him that the Gunners were not going to hear them, the small spirit sighed with relief... But wait, Mietzen was hearing the 2 spirits without problem, Why wouldn't the Gunners? The yordle thought for himself before hearing the presentation of the ethereal beings, with his eyes wide opened. _"... Wolf... Lamb... lamb... wolf..."_ -He muttered with calm for a moment while thinking, at first he did not recognize those names until the sudden realization of who they were came to his mind- _"... WAIT!"_ -The miner said while going back a few steps. _"... Death welcomes everyone. )) To all appearances a thug was chasing a yordle through the sewers of Zaun and finally into some kind of fairy forest deep beneath the ground. The most aware, however, would notice something very different. The hunt was on. Twin spirits, black and white, stalked their prey. "This one is yours," the soft voice of Lamb promised to her companion. "I shall chase it until it's DEAD!" Wolf bellowed, perhaps even loud enough for the unaware to notice his howl. Regardless if anyone heard his savage voice or not, the environment for miles around would darken. Animals and people would be filled with dread. The Hunter's Mark had been placed, and it would not be lifted until it had been claimed. Mietzen plunged his shovel into the body of the thug. That is what it looked like to the outside observer. An autopsy would show that blood loss due to the stabbing as the cause of death. Mietzen would see something very different unfold. To his eyes, the shovel would transform into a black spirit wearing a white mask, whose jaws locked themselves around the thug. Indeterminate in form, the spirit consumed the life of the thug. What could the poor yordle do? A moment would go by, and the spirit took a more solid form as a wolf whose coat was deeper than the void. Ghostly blue eyes shone behind a white mask whose droopy ears recalled a sheep. "That was a fun chase," he growled, not speaking directly to Mietzen. "Well hunted, dear Wolf," an ethereal voice replied. Should Mietzen turn around, he would see the speaker. She wore a black mask that looked very much like the lupine spirit in front of the yordle and she stood upon two legs. The whiteness of her wool was offset by ashy darkness. Lamb payed no heed to Mietzen, her eyes were fixated on Wolf. Time stood still. Yordles were familiar with the spirit world, but Mietzen had never experienced anything like this. He was in Kindred's domain. Did time pass for the Eternal Hunters? Many people had lived their entire lives in this one moment, and there the three of them stood over the body of a dead man.
The concerns of Mietzen, caused by the consequences that what he just did could bring him in the future, were forgotten as soon as the yordle realized that a ethereal figure of the Wolf began to manifest itself in the place. He fell on the floor shocked and tired after the chase, looking at the strange mask of the canine. That wolf was the infamous Wrath of Zaun? No, the masked creature was something completely different, it was clearly some kind of spirit, but definitely not a spirit from Bandle City. Before saying a word, the yordle heard the voice of female spirit and quickly turned around to see her. A strange spirit with more fur than any female yordle that he has ever meet, a creature who was obviously taller than him and it seemed to be connected to the other masked spirit. _"A-A-Are you guys D-Demons?"_ - The yordle finally asked with confusion and fear as he noticed that they were in the Spirit World. _"I-I swear that this was an accident..."_ -Miez tried to explain to the spirits as he stood up, without noticing that they were not even putting their attention on him- _"... P-Please don't tell the Bandle Gunners or they are going to kill me... or even worse... expel me from the city!" _
: If It Draws Breath... It Meets Us... (Ask Kindred)
((Maybe, making my first post in this board (after years) in the thread of the embodiment of death is not a wise choice, but i had some questions to do: How does Kindred interact with creatures that are some kind of spirits that are alive (as the yordles)? How do they react when a person kills another one by accident or self defence for first time (they even care?)? And... Zaun has a “wolf” that kills people... so i thought that it would be interesting to see Wolf in Zaun PS: English is not my native language https://docs.google.com/document/d/1xt9W7CflXgGq2CxVg1aHYw1yyCuuBw8BcvdX9jBSE0c/edit?usp=sharing Link to the info of the Yordle OC. Hanover, The Chem-Thug is just a random npc who will die/died)) --------------------------------------------------------------------------- **Somewhere in the deepest caverns of Zaun...** Hanover was a Chem-Thug hired to find a yordle for a crazy Chembaron who was sure that Yordles knew the secret of teletransportation between the spirit realm and the physical world. The thug did not even believed that those things were real, but he needed the money to treat an illness caused by the chemwastes of Zaun. At first, his attempts of finding those elusive creatures were full of failures, until one day he managed to break the Glamour of one of them who was hiding in the caverns of Zaun... and the chase through the tunnels of Zaun began. The yordle was scared and it was running fast through the caverns, but the Chem-Thug knew that he was going to catch it. The place was dark and the green furred spirit knew those tunnels better than any normal human, regardless of all of that, Hanover was not going to give up easily. He chased the creature during hours until they both arrived to a weird forest inside a cave. When the thug entered to his secret bandlewood, Miez panicked, he had to stop the madman or something bad was going to happen to the woods or Bandle City. He grabbed his Chemtech Shovel and got prepared for a fight. _“You want to face me with a shovel? Just surrender now and this will be easier for both of us”_ - Said the man before grabbing the yordle with his hextech arm. He thought that it was going to be an easy win... But the yordle proved him wrong. Mietzen freed himself with a swift stab to the chest of the human using a weid shovel. The attack was not very effective, but what it came afterwards was something that the yordle miner did not expected... The Chemtech Shovel used to drain the chemicals waste of Zaun began to quickly drain the liquids inside the human... taking away the life out of the Chem-Thug. Hanover did not wanted to die, not in the hands of a “Gutter Rat” like that one. His eyes looked at the yordle filled with rage as he desperately tried to stop the strange shovel, but it was too late for him. The human was dying. Mietzen looked with horror to what his tool was doing in that moment. He did not wanted to commit a murder, it was the first time that he actually experienced the death of someone, and it was his fault. Sure, the man was a danger to the bandleforest and the green yordle himself, but the feeling of guilt was a terrible sensation.
: Bandle City is...weird. Like, what do we know about Bandle City? The other city states at least can be summarized pretty quickly. Demacia is Light, Noxus is Darkness, Bilgewater is Pirates, Shadow Isles is Spooky/Undead. But we never hear much about Bandle City. We know most other city states have at least some Yordle population, at least Piltover does, and Poppy might live in Demacia, and definitely has good relations at least, but...what the hell is Bandle City? I think the biggest blanks in it are: Looks: We have pictures of Demacia, Noxus, etc. I don't think we've ever seen Bandle City. We hear about the dark alleys of Noxus and the toxic sewers of Zaun, but nothing about Bandle City. I guess the best place to look would be in Teemo or Rumble's Lore, but there doesn't seem to be anything in there. Geography: This sort of ties into Looks I guess? Bandle City seems to be separated from the majority of Valoran's "mainland" via a mountain range, at least on the most current map we have. Government: Demacia has a king. Freljord has 3 potential queens. Noxus has a High Council. What does Bandle City have? Is it all about worshipping their giant spaceship? Is there a High Priest of Spaceships? (Sorta like the Cult of the Atom from Fallout?) Or is there a more conventional government in place? Technology: I know this is scattershot all over the place in League, even within the same city states. Urgot has a chemical grenade launcher, energy shield, and missles, and Darius runs around with an axe. But champions like Heimerdinger and Rumble point to a more mechanical sort of technological focus in Bandle City. Then again, Teemo uses a wooden tube and mushrooms. I think it would be interesting to hear a little more about one of League's most oft ignored city states.

Yeah, but the lore of Tristana specifies: > The Megling Commandos are something of a legend in Bandle City. They have a history that spans centuries, and they remain the oldest yordle military unit still in service. They are renowned for their courage, deadliness, and ruthlessness, making them the most respected and feared of all warriors in Bandle City. Legends of Megling, the valiant founder of the commandos, are still heard throughout Valoran taverns. Calling her "the Yordle Gunner" is like saying "She is the only yordle that uses a gun"

: Of Meglings and a Twisted Love: Tristana's VU is Rumble's doing to make her more like him, a Yordle
WHAT? HEIMERDINGER? A "FELLOW YORDLE"? HE IS A TRAITOR AND A SELLOUT OF THE HUMANS, Rumble would never work with him! By the way... im a bit concerned about the removal of the Meggling Gunners

Viktor is the founder of a Zaunite movement called "The Glorious Evolution"... The members of the "evolution" want to reach perfection by using hextech implants on their bodies... Which is awesome... in a weird way... because he can fix many "flaws" of humans and living creatures... for example, if someone lose a leg, they can give to that person a new pair of hextech legs... in fact... i have heard that someone used the technology of Viktor to resurrect a human... or something like that... Or did you move too?"

Gods almighty..." *Rumble frowns at the wreckage and pops open the panel once more then shines a flashlight he pulled from his pocket inside. Mentally he takes note of immediately noticeable repairs and replacements to be made.* "You oughta take this as a lesson: Don't introduce magic to places it doesn't need to be." *He concludes when Miez mentions his blueprints.* "Uh---Nothing. Just some stuff." *Rumble dismisses, choosing to interrupt his assessment to close the door he haphazardly left open. Miez doesn't seem like some spy intent on stealing his work, but ever since that metal man's appearance, Rumble has been even more vigilant against intrusions than normal, even if it seems a little paranoid.*

: -Prehistory in the Making- (Ask Gnar!)
Gnar's caretakers. As a yordle i have heard many things about the "missing link". So, i have many questions... but the most important one is a question about the ice that trapped him (according to the rumors that i have heard at Bandle). According to some scientists, the true ice cant be melted.... so... How did a yordle kid (even in his "mega form") escaped from that unbreakable "prison"? He was conscious during his "natural cryogenisation"? There are shards of true ice here at the Sablestone Mountains? ... wait.... i should ask those things to the scientists that are studying him... instead of the caretakers. Whatever... thanks for your time. -Signed by a curious yordle called Miez PS: Has Gnar seen the "mothership"?

Magic always complicates things further.* "What exactly 'got worse'?" *He pries open the side panel on the industrial drill and peers inside. Already he can see a mess of burnt and frayed wires mangled with strange residue coating the inside. Likely from the hextech engine or the crystals. * "An' what the hell were they using this thing on to screw it up so badly? The drill itself looks pretty bent outta shape." *He turns around and thumbs at the massive dents and wear beaten into the drill head.*

: Rumble's Workshop!
((i have read only the first page of this thread and is amazing... awesome work... GJ)) A green yordle knocked the door of the Rumble's workshop. He needed to repair something and this was the best workshop that he knew at Bandle... and had a good reputation... even if his owner was a weird angry guy... *"If i cant fix this damn thing... maybe he can do it..."* -The green yordle muffled while waiting at the door. Right behind him, there was a hextech drill. The machine that needed to be repaired.
