I see the bigger problem.. Even if Riot matches say one one team an Iron1, a few Bronze and a Silver. And the other team is similarly configured. There is no guarantee that the iron1 will lane against the other iron1. In fact the odds are the exact opposite and he will get a Bronze or Silver laner. So one sire gets a iron1 vs a Silver an the other gets a iron1 vs a bronze. Almost instant snowball for the Silver..

How is an auto system supposed to catch a graves who never goes to lane and runs around jung and farms. He is a troll but no way the "system" can catch this. : Yeah, but that's why there's 8 players in the game, and you can play more than once. Everyone has the exact same RNG. Whether it's "good" or "bad" RNG, it's the same. Over 100 games, the better player wins more than the bad player because the RNG evens out. Even in a single game, a bad player will take a bad roll and get 8th, and a good player will take the exact same bad roll and get 4th. It's similar, but also yes different, than ranked solo queue. You're lowering the odds of having an inter/troller on your team because you are on your team. But there's still the RNG that you get that player, or you get the lowest ranked player in the game. The RNG is the sweet, sweet essence of a game like TFT. It's why it's streamable, it's why it's going to be a great esport. : I've recently play fiddlesticks in the midlane and his mana goes down pretty fast. However I do understand that support fiddlesticks with the pre-patch 8.15 is too low but I believe the mana cost should be lowered to 65 or 67 mana because fiddlesticks is overly reliant to mana and could be difficult to lane using him.
Fiddle is still fine in the mid lane. You cannot spam your darkwind and need to time it with killing at least 1 minion so you get bounces to the other champ. It is also a great zoning tool, just auto the minions and if they get close darkwind them. Any melee champ will have to keep their distance. I can normally push them out of lane easily with this. I still take flash/tp on him but want to try flash/ignite. Get them low with darkwind, hit lvl3, flash fear, dw, drain and ignite = kill. This patch will hurt him a little. But not that bad.

The problem I see at the Pro level is the amount of time it takes to get "good" at a set of champions. There is an old saying that if someone/thing is multipurpose it will be no good at any purpose. Meaning if you are a jack of all trades you will be so-so on all of them and not an expert at any one. I.E. The handyman vs the certified electrician/plumber.. Pro players are expected to be "experts" at what they do, mechanically, gameplay, shotcalling, etc.. In order to get to this level requires hours and hours and hours of playing and practice. To expect them to shift on a moments (patch) notice to a completely different set of champions/play style(s) is not realistic. And given the current nature of the game, with patches applied every 2 weeks, even if they take the time and grind, what they have just learned maybe outdated in 2 weeks. IMO the changes need to slow down and let the game stablize. Fix bugs, deal with new champs/reworks that may need a tweek. But otherwise leave the game alone! Utok

Leave Fiddle alone.. With the latest Rune changes he is actually really OP mid now. Try Aery on him and you have a long range bomb that can zone anyone. You can get them to 1/2 health in no time and push them out of lane or set them up for an easy gank. His Ult is not really his strength, it is his E and Q/W. The E can be used to clear lanes and zone in teamfights. Watch them scramble to get away from each other and then you can pick off the one who ran in the 'wrong' direction. The Q is a get out of gank free card when your flash is down :-) (90%+ of the time). His W is a free sustain in lane until I need/want to go back. I agree he takes some time to learn. Especially his Ult and when and where u can use it. Since the new runes I have played him mid a lot. Actually getting tired of pushing people out of lane, killing them with aery. Kinda boring now.. : Wow, it's so true that people don't like change, however I for one love the new system for getting in games. I've been playing since season one and ranked game set up was so toxic before, nothing but fighting and champs you wanted to play getting banned. Before you got in game most people were already hacked off. I'm glad it takes time to pick and ban and talk about strategy -- that's what LoL is all about. If you can't deal with that then don't play ranked games. I've won way more games since the new set up came out, and our team talks about roles and choices. It was a bit of a challenge at first but once we got used it to it and understood the process it works really well. Thanks to the Riot team for finally having a game start that makes the process less toxic and more rewarding for what and where you want to play. And IMO teambuilder was never that great -- I used it a few times and hated it. So please don't bring back teambuilder, it's not needed. To the rest of you I say learn the new system, you'll get used to it. It will make you a better league player to understand the correct way to pick and work together as a team prior to getting in game. I'm sure they will make some tweaks to it as Riot always improves on things however, I don't see much wrong with it except that people in general are not used to it yet. I agree this new system is great for Norm/Ranked Draft. It is a complete disaster for the casual player who: Does not give a flip about bans Does not really care about playing in the whatever is the new and current meta. Which changes with the direction of the wind Just wants to play a game with a specific champ in a specific lane, just to have some fun. The new queue fails at all of this.

: I think for the average league player that plays a couple of roles and has a decent champion pool, this is an excellent idea. Most games I want to play jungle or mid and those are highly contested roles most of the time. If i go into a queue knowing I will 100% get one of those roles without a toxic waiting time I will be happy. Most of the complaints are stemming from a lack of understanding (which is rampant in the league community holy shit). You can still play the champ you want (MOST LIKELY) in the role you want (MOST LIKELY) and like all things riot does it will be a work in progress and they can tailor it if there are any massive complaints. Too much hate for such a nice idea.
I do not mind the new system (I have played it in PBE). And I understand splitting the pool of players argument. It is just I do nto feel it fits well with the regular player (non-ranked). That just wants to pop in and play a game. Not worry about bans, remember they do not play ranked, so probably does not care or maybe even understand bans completely. TB was perfect for this. Utok

: you can do everything in the new system you could in TB, but you now can do it better with less waiting. they say you can plan your teams build out, which is true, but they are NOT saying you have to. The new system is Normal Draft/Ranked fused with TeamBuilder. and later on if TB fused with Normal Blind. that is what this new queue system will be; The "Love Child" of TB and the current queue systems. TB does not have Bans, it allows you to again play what and where I want to play. Not what I want and were I want if it does not get banned and if no one above me picks it. My point is in Skarner's case, the objectives in question give no benefit to the enemy team and all the benefit to Skarner's team. So you get 15 gold if you capture a point, whoopee!!! IMO it is throws a global objective onto the map that is centric to 1 and only 1 champ. Has no value overall to the game but can affect the game dramatically. It becomes no longer just a fight over dragon/baron as global objectives but now over those plus 6 others on the map. With again no real advantage for claiming them (enemy team) apart from keeping them from Skarner.

yes he is supposed to be an alternate adc. But this patch completely negates him in a solo lane. With his W only good on allies, you go into solo lane with 2 spells vs 3 and even less options to build your shield up. Plus your even slower than you were before (and mord was already slow)

and RIOT has talked about doing this exact same thing... Loss Prevent on a individual basis based on if someone never connects.
