: Marksmen: Inherent Dissatisfaction
I just feel like there's a problem with "right click" the class in general, both with dissatisfying game play and with how the class functions as a whole. If what you specialize in is just right clicking something to death, that doesn't sound very satisfying to me. That doesn't lend itself to make me feel like someone can express their skill at game mechanics with them. They just kill stuff from range and that's it. Right click them, know how to play the game like ANY ranged squishy champ (kiting, rotating, farming ect) and you win. No skill expression, just stats in a bag and a mean right click. Sure, individual adc champs can have certain mechanics unique to them, but after a day of practice anyone could probably play them competently in whatever their elo is as a secondary role. MF lands 3 double ups on you. Woohoo, such skill, many rng, must back to base because holy shit that's a lot of damage. It's not fun to play against and I never got into playing it myself because I wasn't having fun, I was just right clicking shit and it died or I did. And as far as game play balance, I feel like they are just like ranged mages/assassins that don't have to worry about hitting their shit because their damage is in auto attacks and that shit is point click. You deal around the same damage overall, but you automatically land everything. That means that other champ classes who can actually miss their shit need it to do more than the adc autos since if they miss they will probably lose, because a huge part of their damage/utility was just removed from the fight. But, this makes it so adc's numbers are what decides the fight most often. If their numbers are high (either through items or champ stats, it doesn't matter) then adcs are a nightmare class that bursts squishies, shreds tanks, takes objectives, and turns all other classes into their bitches, because they CAN'T fail and their damage is insane. If their numbers are low, then they just don't do enough, and they become irrelevant compared to other classes that can just free farm them. Why pick Jinx when you could do the same damage, but better with Swain bot, while also healing, and having better cc, and teamfight like a god and so on? TLDR; I just don't like adcs at all. Their auto based kits make it too easy to ALWAYS get their damage off consistently, which make it so if their numbers are strong, they are way too strong and overshadow the whole game. If their numbers are weak they do nothing compared to other classes that do around the same damage, since other classes have more put into their kits/abilities to compensate for the fact that unlike adcs, they can actually fuck it up and miss. Combine that with their "skill expression" coming from praying that their sup isn't a degenerate playing on their 10 year old smart phone with bad internet connection and all they do is right click on something until it dies, I just can't find them and their play style ever "satisfying."
: Nerf a champion and give a terrible reason to go along with it.

: So Jax can...
Even Hashinshin thinks Jax needs counterstrike nerfed/reworked now. GOOD JOB RIOT.
: How does the new DH compare to Predator in terms of Karthus' ult? Predator's damage bonus doesn't require targets to be below 50% health, and it applies to all targets hit.
Predator is ok, but it takes longer to charge up, which doesn't matter all the time but sometimes it is important, doesn't really help in laning phase, and doesn't provide infinite scaling. Plus the reset on kill for dark harvest means you can keep abusing it in teamfights. Overall, the only real benefit from going predator is that you're able to zoomzoom to other lanes and throw down your wall for pretty good ganks, but damage wise harvest is way better.

I'm a Karthus main and I fucking hate this change. Karth is probably going to be nerfed for it when he was previously one of the most balanced champs in the game. This rune is fucking disgusting on him and many others. If they sejuani Karthus because of this I'll be so god damn furious.

: Anyone want a villain you love to hate?
https://pbs.twimg.com/profile_images/706515501044793344/yhZM93iJ_400x400.jpg Having a character like Joffery Baratheon would be absolutely phenomenal to have added in game character wise. He was such a spineless little coward while being so horrifically cruel, so arrogant while being so pathetic, and so universally despised by everyone. Yet it was so easy to see how he had become this way and it didn't come off as cartoonish or over the top, just as one of, if not the best villains that Game of Thrones has ever seen. I would love it if Rito added in a character that was just as vile as him, with how good they have gotten at writing character backgrounds and dialogue I think they could do it phenomenally, acting all pompous and cruel while killing enemies, but having the facade crumble away as he gets closer to death. God I didn't know I needed this in league before this, but I NEED IT.
: Is there any champion you have fun playing against?
{{champion:136}} He gives so much opportunity for counterplay, if he's winning against you, he deserves to. {{champion:30}} Personal bias on this one since he's my main, but if he's winning against you it's because of one of two things, you are bad at dodging, or he has much better decison making than you do. The champion has a lot of weaknesses that are very easy to exploit and pretty much anyone can do well against him if they're smart. {{champion:14}} Never seen a Sion in game and thought, "oh that's bullshit." He's a straightforward, well balanced champ. {{champion:19}} New Warwick is really fun to play against personally, he warns you that he's potentially coming when he's far away, can miss his ult, and is a very fair champ. {{champion:115}} My opinion of him is, and always shall be; meh, you exist, you go do your thing. Never been mad at a Ziggs once.
: "I'd rather have a toxic teammate than a bad one"
100% of the time I'd take the toxic player, no debate I can mute the toxic player, including pings now (thank God), I can't fix a bad player's mistakes and magically make all the shit they did not matter anymore. Seriously people, if you had to pick between a bot lane that went even, and had no toxic dialogue with you because you MUTED them, or a bot lane that had no toxic dialogue and fed the enemy vayne 10 kills in as many minutes, what would you really choose? Sure playing with toxic people isn't fun, but neither is playing with a moron that singlehandedly lost you the game because they are objectively bad at the game.

: Seriously. What is teh fucking point of playing Late Game Mid Lane Mages.
I remember when I used to build {{item:3027}} {{item:3040}} first two items on {{champion:30}}, farm up, defend towers, stall until late game and finish it off with a {{item:3089}} and I'd feel like a God with close to or over 1000 ap depending on what other items I got, running around and nuking those that entered my no no zone. Now days I can't honestly say I'm playing the game right if I don't just rush {{item:3165}}, because there is no defending towers or stalling the game out, and I need to be able to teamfight by 10/15 minutes in or I'm a minion. Karthus is still the playstyle that I love and isn't in a terrible spot either, but I really miss that late game fantasy of being a terrifying glass cannon. Now he's like a glass handgun. He still hits fairly hard and has the same strategy, but it just isn't the same.

: What are some champs you hate playing against even when they are bad.
{{champion:84}} ... I have a whole essay I could write on this little shit, so I'll try to shelf some of the salt (some) and keep it shortish. If she gets ahead you're done. 100% of damage is point and click (ok, not her e, but seriously, how do you miss that) she has good mobility, good healing, a fuck you circle of nope, and is one of the most infuriating pieces of shit out there. Combine that with her "weak" laning phase and she is one of my most hated champions in the game. {{champion:53}} One hook can literally end a game, he doesn't even need to combo properly if his team is nearby, he just has to press q in early game to start a huge snowball, and in late he just has to press q to start a huge avalanche . {{champion:31}} Do I even need to talk about this one? {{champion:90}} Pre rework, post rework, I don't care. I hate Malz. His kit is so God Damn cancerous. He plays super safe, farming with his little void slaves and space aids safely from a distance, protects himself from bad trades with a silence and his passive, and can basically get a free kill with his ult when getting a gank or in a teamfight where the rest of his team isn't buckling. He doesn't play the game with you until it's just too late to do anything meaningful back to him. {{champion:27}} You aren't even playing League anymore. Like Malz, you are actively trying to not participate in the game and just run off and do your own shit. And on top of that, the only real response to him is the incorrect one. You can't let him do what he wants so you need to go after him, but doing so requires you to waste time on him and chase him, which is exactly what he wants, but if you leave him alone all game, you will lose because you didn't waste time on him and chase him, which is exactly what he wants.

: [POLL] Do you prefer Varus' old lore, or new lore?
If Varus had NEVER existed in this world and this was a new champion coming out, the lore would be fine. However, what makes this bad, is that they took a character with established lore that worked just fine with literally one minor adjustment, and completely ripped him out of the world to create this new thing. The only real reason people are defending it is because of the token LGBTQ character that he's now become for literally no reason. Changing his wife/child dying to his gay lover serves NO PURPOSE WHATSOEVER. If you want to make gay characters, fine, Taric already exists, it isn't going to cause a huge uproar. However, changing established characters to serve a political purpose is in my opinion, disgusting. Change a straight man to a gay one in lore, why? What purpose dose it serve? How does this make them a better character? Change a gay man to a straight man in lore, why? Change black to white, why? Change white to black, WHY? And don't claim that it makes him more interesting, if a character's orientation is the only thing that makes them interesting, they are a shit written character. Taric exists well beyond his sexual preference in the lore, he has a well done backstory and NOTHING in it revolves around his orientation, it just so happens that he's also gay. And that's how characters should be, one way or the other because that's who they are, not because someone has a political statement. Don't force this shit on old characters, make new ones if this is what you want to see in League Champions.
: I find it silly that a man can't be tragic if he loses his gay lover, that losing a wife and a child is somehow a better tragedy? Frankly, it does sound kind of homophobic, man.
The point isn't that it isn't tragic, the point is that the change was completely unnecessary.
: How many of us on the boards actually LIKE the high damage in the game right now?
I don't want to see damage across the board gutted like what people call for. I just want champions/classes that shouldn't have access to burst not fucking have access to burst. Giving assassins counter play was a good move, now hold everyone else up to the same standard and things will be fine. And no, giving supports more broken active item effects for shielding/healing isn't how to do that, pull power out of those and give it to their kits so they can contribute to the team still, but make it so they exist beyond being a ward/redemption slave chained to their God and master, the ADC. Also, buff towers (actually buff them, not nerf them in disguise like you already did Rito) that will solve game length issues alone.

: You’re complain about a 47% win rate champion over guys like Ezreal, Vayne, Twitch. Vayne is probably the biggest offender right now getting two items then three shotting you into oblivion. Ezreal is at a whopping 65% ban rate while still withholding a 55% win rate. Kalista isn’t good, with such an early game snowball meta just play lane bullies against her and you’ll be fine. Kalista needs the attack speed/AD to scale and with how low attack speed she has early no way she can be proactive.
There is a huge difference between winrate and overall toxicity of a kit. The champs you mentioned are absolutely stupid and hilariously busted, but Kalista is rotten to the core. It doesn't matter what her winrate is, if she is viable, she is not fun to play against. If you are immobile, she shits on you. If you are skillshot based, she shits on you. If you are mele, she shits on you. If you pick anyone in the game that doesn't directly counter her, you are going to have a bad time.

: Lore Updates And The Impact Of Fanon
As an aspiring writer, I am very biased on my opinion, but here it is. Fannon is a natural occurrence and is fine, but should NEVER have any real affect on the actual lore. If a character is written in a certain way in the lore, and cannon is established on something, that's it, it's done, move along. If you disagree on something, or don't like something, that is entirely up to you, you are not obligated to enjoy or approve of every piece of lore that is put out. However, you need to respect the fact that that is now cannon. For me personally, one instance of new lore that I don't like is Orianna. I LOVED her old lore. A robot that was a replacement for a human child that was trying her hardest to be the perfect daughter/human but was constantly falling short of her goal because in the end she was still just a machine, was one of the coolest lores that Rito had ever put out in my opinion. While her new lore isn't bad... it just doesn't have that same feeling to it (plus it decannonized that amazing vo). I'm not anywhere as interested in new Ori lore as old. But as sad as I am, I respect the writer's decision to take the character this way. Whenever I'm writing a character, they're my creation, something that I've spent countless hours pondering over, fleshing out every possible area of their existence, even in areas that will probably never see any space on the page. While others are free to interpret what they read as they will, or even fantasize about what could have been if something had happened differently, it doesn't change the objective facts about the work. I know my characters better than the people reading my works, and if my experience is anything like other writers', the same is probably true of Riot writers and league characters. Want to write a fanfiction based on your interpretation of a character? Fine, it's great that you like the lore enough to have it inspire you to create something. Want to debate about grey matters in lore such as Demacia vs. Noxus? Absolutely wonderful. However, if you want to complain that your fannon isn't getting cannonized, I'm going to have a problem with that. Imagine being at your work, doing your job, and a swarm of customers is around you, all shouting out for you to do the job the way they want it. Some have good ideas, but differ vastly from what you're trying to accomplish, and others have ideas that are simply wrong and will make the finished work much worse overall. As a writer, at the end of the day, I would much rather have put out my own work that I created from scratch, and take pride in the fact that there are some people out there that admire my creation for what it is, and not just what everyone else wanted it to be. Wow, that ended up being way longer than I intended. Don't think a lot of people agree with me on this one, but as a writer, I feel passionately about this topic so I decided to share.

We aren't denied forgiveness because someone can't find the person that they wronged anymore or the other person is being a tempestuous %%%% and won't let the past go. We live under the new covenant, where God's grace is freely offered to everyone, regardless of how deserving we are of it. God isn't going to look upon someone that is repentant and say, "Sorry, nope" because of the unforgiving heart of another human being, who is just as flawed as everyone else. He can afford all the cronies, the evil lairs, the endless traps, and has all the time in the world to plot out his next dickish move. But on a more serious note, he needed to win the Millennium Puzzle from Yugi in a duel, he couldn't just take it. And he needed it to be a public display of his beating him to the Kaiba Corp executives to gain their confidence that he could regain the face the company lost when Kaiba lost to Yugi in a duel (makes no sense, but whatever) as per their agreement with him. Without the whole elaborate plot, he wouldn't be able to get to his end goal, which was to resurrect his wife using the Millennium items and Kaiba Corp tech.

: Worlds is getting boring because the same champs are picked.
Apparently you didn't watch any gigabyte marines games. Or SKT vs MSF.

: You can lose a tower at 5 minutes in if you're against a 3 man premade.
If I'm playing Yorick, and am winning lane, i can easily take a solo tower around 8 minutes in if I didn't use my ult to kill them. That amount of map control coming in that early from a SINGLE person doing their job correctly is absolutely disgusting. All that I need is sheen, my ult up, and enemy tp down. Bonus points if the enemy jungler is bot side.
