Iron players, well, sometimes I think they don't really exist and accounts in that mmr are purely meant to for trolling. But yeah, I would definitely not duo with anyone unless they were my rank or close. I won't duo with someone unless they are within +/- 1 division of me. An entire tier, or more, is too much.

: Illaoi top, getting ganked pre 6 results in illaoi dying 9/10 matchups. Illaoi top, getting ganked pre 6 results in illaoi ooming early or losing summoners. Illaoi top, getting fed from ganks? bad laner and jg. Yes that happens now imagine the enemy teams feeling knowing your jg doing nothing is BETTER than theirs actually tryna play. Illaoi top dying 2v1, and losing first turret but taking 1 with her? still 1.4k gold behind her laner.
Hey guy, listen here. Im in B1 okay? I can honestly say the only champion that will take first tower on me in my current elo is Yorick, who doesnt get picked often due to his lack of team play utility. Rarely do I allow my self to be ganked early as I am very aware of who the enemy jungle is and know their clear speeds pretty well, as I play Jungle myself. If your falling 1.4 k gold behind your not doing it right. With that said I am on a climbing trend since moving to top lane and will need to adapt as I grow
: Then the question arises: wtf is your jungler even doing? If bot isn’t winning, mid isn’t winning, top is being camped with no answer and no jungle objectives are being taken, what use are they to your team? If winning bot isn’t an option. And if winning mid isn’t an option. And if taking jungle objectives isn’t an option... Maybe just come top?? Like fuck, i have to ask my junglers these questions every other game. Like we aren’t playing chess here. There’s 3 lanes and ganking 2 of them isn’t working. Maybe, just maybe, gank the other one???

You take bot side jungle and farm the hell out of it while ganking every opportunity you get while traveling back to Red/Blue side.
YaraUwU (NA)
: I cannot fucking stand when junglers get to camp top unanswered.
My Illaoi top counters that pretty well. Yi is the only problem really due to his Q negating damage from my E. Other than that its usually a double kill or 1for1. I always let my team know I am dummy pushing side lanes. If they cant win a 4v4 or even 4v3 since a 1v1 is hard against Illaoi, then we aren't meant to win. My job his stay alive and create pressure, laner and jungler should be farming and shoving.

You know why they call it LoL right? {{sticker:slayer-pantheon-popcorn}}
: This My main issue with Morde is how big his abilities are, and how fast they are. For example, I can't help but compare Illaoi's Q to Morde's. Morde Q - (+ 75 / 95 / 115 / 135 / 155) (+ 60% AP) + (20 / 25 / 30 / 35 / 40%) for single hit targets Illaoi Q - 10 − 180 (based on level) (+ 120% AD) --Same for all tentacles Lvl 1, they deal about the same amount of damage due to the ability scaling, outside of the single hit targets, in which Morde's definitly wins. Lvl 18, Illaoi's would definitely outscale Morde's, if it wasn't for the fact that it's much harder to build attack damage on her compared to ability power on Morde. However, the main issue is the ability speed and size. I do not own Mordekaiser at the moment, so I can't test this for actual numbers. According to Morde videos and experience fighting him, his Q takes about .5-.75 seconds from cast to deal damage, while Illaoi's takes one second. I am 95% sure that Illaoi's takes twice as long to do. I also believe that Morde's is bigger than Illaoi's as well. Illaoi's seems to be slightly longer than Morde's but his is definitely wider. If they were to have the same perimeter, Morde's would take more surface area that Illaoi's. However, I think that Morde's is wider than Illaoi's is long, making his even bigger. Thus, not only is his much harder to dodge due to how fast it is, but you also must move farther to dodge in most circumstances. Only the 5% missing health heal is in Illaoi's favor. Edit: Got rid of penetration stats, since I was wrong. So many people are misunderstanding the point of this post
Agreed. I play Illaoi top a whole lot now and he is officially perma-ban for me. He chunks me far more and weakens my team fight even more than it already is when using her.
: Kind of, but not really. At least lategame, he isn't as powerful as other hyper carries, and needs a lot more variables to be in his favor to pull off any plays like they would. Granted, he trades that for his utility, which is a fair trade
Having a higher skill cap does not make him "not a hyper carry". Once you hit 3 items with yas and hit a nado a mechanically sound Yas will snowball from that point forward(Even more than they probably already have).
: He is not a hypercarry. Jax, Yi, and Tryndamere are the only melee hyper carries in the game.
The way I imagine a hypercarry is a champion that uses 6 items better than the champions in it's role. The ones that come to mind are things like: * TOP: Kayle, Yasuo, Vlad, Tryndamere * JUNGLE: Karthus, Master Yi, * MID: Cassiopia, Kassadin, Kayle, Karthus, Yasuo, Vlad * ADC: Vayne, Twitch, Jinx, Kog'Maw, Kai'sa
Moody P (NA)
: yasuo isn't a hyper carry and his early game is where it should be
He IS a hyper carry, but its not like Yi, Q and get a penta
Emo Twink (OCE)
: yeah because all them get played mid
Ive seen Tahm do great mid as well as AP Susan. Heck even Nekton gets some mid lane action, Jax though hes that odd man out.
: Morde sitting at 70% ban rate, 13% pick rate, and 56% WR even with 0 expereince on him
Mord jungle is even pretty strong compared to a lot of picks, has a good clear with good cc, camp bot and steal their supp and let the adc be killed or forced out then when supp comes out of his ult, _if_ they come out, its 3v1.

This response is ignorant. You did not correctly read my response. I will reiterate for you again, It is not unexpected. People who are "Photosensitive Epileptics" know the risks of video games when the doctor diagnoses them with it. They receive all of the information regarding risks and triggers when diagnosed, Video Games is one of those included with that information. League has MANY other "triggers" in their game i.e; Lux R, Lucian R, Jinx and even kindred have had reported "Trigger Warnings". Also, yes 1/100 are epileptic, of those 1/100 epileptics, only 3% have Photosensitive Epilepsy. Studies show 1 in 4,000 have photosensitive epilepsy, how many of those 1 in 4000 actually play league? I don't know that answer, I could give you an estimate if we knew how many active League players there is, but we don't know that value. I do not disagree they should remove it, however they did not have to remove it either. There has been 0 Consumer Liability/Injury Lawsuits that have been won by the consumer, EVER. The jury has an even harder time siding with someone who has already been diagnosed because they know the risks, if they have not been diagnosed, then it would not matter anyways because you didn't know you had it, so even if Riot told you it could cause seizures, you would have ignored it and played regardless. You could argue about this night and day but the fact of the matter is, statistics don't lie.

I believe thats called a "Petty Maul Seizure" my sister in law gets them a lot. I believe the medical field has released the number, something like 1 in 4000 have "Photosensitive Epilepsy" and exactly what I was thinking... It is not unexpected. It is well known that video games are triggers. When diagnosed the doctor gives you a WHOLE PACKET full of the information about triggers. No excuses. I don't disagree that they should have taken it down, but truthfully how many of those 1 in 4000 people are playing League of Legends, Im sure its few and far between. I can't throw out an estimate ofc because we dont have the number of active players on League :)

She looks like those kids in highschool with the backpack that weighs more than they do running to lunch with their arms locked back... AKA Narutard

Dude no, just no, There was a blatent negligence that could gave lead to risk of injury or death in the game. \That needed to be addressed, That's not an SJW thing, it's the same reason you don't drink and drive, because you can physically hurt someone else (Above all else) I mean they could have just.. muted the factors in the graphics that caused that tbh and it would have been fine I'm the furthest thing from an SJW that there is, but I agree with the decision to pull the plug on that one graphic

But you need to realize that ANY GAME can lead to death/injury if you are one of the 1 in 4,000 who actually experience photosensitive epilepsy. League is not by any means safe for people who have the condition. There is far too many animations that have a high risk factor to safely play the game at all times if you suffer from the condition. As such, pull the plug on the whole game right? lol this is off topic so this will be my last reply regarding this. All Love <3

: Alright, so I was wrong in assuming they were forced to do this. But does that alone mean they should be thanked for it? After all, they only listened after people started getting notably upset, and the change they made wasn't even one that would take much work. I don't think this is something worth forgetting all their fuck-ups for. And it's not like people don't ever thank Riot. Those threads do pop up in hot every once in a while.

Im not saying forget all their "fuck-ups", but rather give credit where it is due. The irony is the fact that the outrage came from people who aren't even diagnosed with photo-sensitive epilepsy. It came from the SJW's of LoL(strange world we live in).People who it actually affected addressed the situation calmly, and understood there are risks involved in playing the game whether there is a house finisher or not. People will hate Riot no matter what but will never stop playing their game.
: Why would I thank them? They said they were aware it was an issue, looked into it, and ultimately decided it wasn't a priority. They only disabled it over community outrage after proving what kind of people they are. The removal was about money and the community reaction. Negative PR. That's it. They don't care about people and proved it with their initial response. That's like thanking someone for going to jail after they've been caught, and locked up against their will.

The community outrage came from people it didn't even effect in a negative way. The people who are actually photosensitive and reported it were not "outraged". The people who will hate riot no matter what they do were the ones who were "outraged". Those 2 things have no comparison. They didn't need to change anything if they didn't want too. It's not like anyone who was flaming the red in the thread regarding this were going to stop playing the game because of it. People would have just kicked and screamed and continued playing as usual.

I actually have looked into it just out of curiosity. They would not be held liable. This animation is not the only one that can trigger it i.e; Lux Ult, Lucian Ult, Jinx has been reported to cause seizures. Here is a little background for you: "No consumer has won a product liability/personal injury case against a game manufacturer whose video game triggered seizures. Cases were either dismissed, settled, or won by the game company, and juries have a hard time awarding damages to plaintiffs with a pre-existing condition, even if plaintiffs didn’t know of their photosensitive epilepsy prior to the seizure(s) triggered by a video game." This was found on https://videogameseizures.wordpress.com/ I have also clicked into every corner of Video game induced seizure related law suits and cannot find a single one that was won by a consumer. Especially in pre-existing conditions, When diagnosed, a doctor gives all the information regarding triggers, risks, and preventative measures, which then places responsibility in the hands of the person who has been diagnosed. (I am a Medical Assistant, currently in PA school) I should also point out that Photosensitive epilepsy is EXTREMELY RARE, 1 in 100 people have epilepsy, of those people, only 3% have photosensitive epilepsy.

: Oh sorry, I forgot to elaborate. It was norms draft and I had already played a few games as support and mid before randomly getting filled jg (getting mid a lot more lately which is understandable). Jungle was random as hell though and the game would have been lost if I stuck with it. I don't know about micro/macro or jungle rotations/setting up ganks. Also some supports can carry a game. Maybe they don't get a super high kill count but their vision placement (if thought out) and cc + utility usually prevent a lot of trouble or help push their team for good picks and snowballing safely. There are supports who can also do the damage needed to to carry but I understand why most people find it boring and unreliable to play a sidekick the whole game that is unlikely to get any recognition even with an amazing KDA + carry. I played Zyra yesterday Midlane and the Quinn ADC still talked to me like I was her support. lol. Her Brand wasn't bothering with sticking by her side or placing vision which almost cost us the game. I stepped up and warded as much as I could to ensure we wouldn't get picked off. Seems insignificant but it isn't at all. Dodging support is kinda different from dodging jg. Jungle is entirely unfamiliar from any laning phase, requires risky moves and being all over. You have to be there for smiting stuff and know what camps you can handle at what times. Their itemization differs too. Support is pretty boring until the game turns into an all mid brawl out. You don't CS and if you do your adc pings you like ???????? tf you doing? If you play something with heals you will hardly do damage unless you sacrifice utility for a couple thousand more damage dealt in the game. You're essentially just a CC or heals bot by that point. /shrug I still find those scenarios to be engaging regardless but you're right... it does suck losing and then being helpless at base because your build is full support with no damage. Being helpless and powerless isn't fun when your team goes down. Sorry for rambling btw!
Indeed. While there is supports who can carry a game, you get flamed for carrying early usually by your ADC, which inhibits you from snowballing, Jungle is fun, it requires alot of knowledge(which cant be gained other than from experience IMHO). If it is normal why not play a game in jgl when you are auto filled. Good way to learn without screwing everyone on your team. Thats what normals are for... Learning :)

: OP: Please send us an update once you're done w/ series! Gold's a pretty big stopping point and achievement. Sure, you're not great at the game like in Plat, you aren't the top 4% like in Diamond, but you've still come a pretty long way. Nator: I saw a decent difference w/ the skill level of players going from mid-silver to low-gold. People are more likely to take a drake or something when an opening arises, less people walking to their obvious demises, more likely to help against invades or to roam. It isn't a huge jump in skill, but definitely noticeable.
