: Depends how you want it to be implemented. Generally just "lion" is too simple to get implemented in the game and it's lore. Lion vastaya is unlikely, since it would clash a bit much with Rengar thematically. Best bet in my opinion would be a lion based ascended, the picture you posted here would fit that, too. However, there already has been a lion based ascended in the lore, Setaka. And as far as we know, she is dead. I don't know if they would be willing to give the same niche to a new champion, I kinda doubt it tbh.
Anhur from the egyption mythology would be great character to match in the Shuriman empire, they can just change his name and add him to the Shuriman kingdom.

I am a Hecarim main, i play him as 2nd most played champion and i gotta admit that he is pretty underwhelming, i love the pony but his visuals are pretty underwhelming and you know he could look tougher and more centaur looking. For his gameplay i love his gameplay but i can't really think of myself only i gotta think of other players too so to be fair, I think he definitely needs a rework for his gameplay. Being either Very useless or very op isn't healthy and that would aim my comment on his mid-late game he is a monster in mid game sometimes but pretty much useless diver in late game against so many comps So i'll go for VGU vote. I made a concept about Skarner + Mordekaiser + Tryndamere i could think of a concept about Hecarim for his gameplay later on just to share ideas about how should a centaur be like in his gameplay as a hecarim main's concept.

: His R is his venom usage. On a side note I own scorpions as pets and Skarners body suggests he actually has a weak venom since his claws are so big. His design is mostly based on an Emperor Scorpion who's sting is comparable to that of a bee. If he had a truly dangerous venom he'd have smaller, slim claws.

: Hey, so i feel like having a skillshot for an ultimate is really necessary, even if its short. If his kit is made up of mostly AA's, he will be put in the Wukong or Yi camp; meaning their kit has very little counterplay, making it difficult to balance and either overbearing, or completely useless. If you give him a little chode of a skillshot, that fulfills your melee dream, and give people like Riven, Talon, or Yasou a chance to avoid the ability. The effect of the ultimate is up to you honestly. I just dont want you to spend time on the kit, have it be difficult to balance, and either dumpster the enemy or get dumpstered on every game. For his E aura, I've been thinking. Auras tend to be pretty unhealthy, they are either too much or nothing at all (think amumu W). Also, I've done a little research and haven't found any scorpions that naturally ooze venom. However, I have seen many spiny looking spiders and scorpions. Which led me to this. Instead of giving him an active aura, give him basically a vladmir E, where he activates it and shoots spines out of his body in an AOE, applying a poison, and below 50% health, fearing enemies in close proximity. For the Q. Again, skillshots allow easy balance. Two pincers or one doesn't really matter in terms of balance. Whats important is that a champ can make plays have play made against.
Well for his Ultimate it's not auto hit, it's a skill shot but just like how you target it with his current R, a tiny circle around his melee range,i'd say 200 range on his R would be more healthy otherwise he won't be able to use it , for yi and wukong i actually havn't seen any problem countering them, against wukong we build hp or armor, against yi we CC him to death because he is immune to slows, against this kit of Skarner it'll be slow him to death because he is all focused on melee range, and his powerspike only begins when someone gets close in his range and that's what a scorpion should be like, very mean in close combat, yet very easy to kite, I do think the duelist melee combat is very fair for his overall style and just because of that the stuff from his kit and E would make sense on his body for those who want to stack armors will have to pay up for his E's magic so he will always stay hybrid hyper melee dueler if i change his E, it'll tone down a lot of his powerspike and for his Q i gave it the slow because it's the only skill that keeps skarner his target. I might really like your idea of shooting spikes out of his body but i honestly think that'll go for another champion, a new champion who is similar to Rammus with spiky body but for skarner he is a scorpion after all i always wanted to keep his identity of being venomous not just Passive, his e too Tbh with you i rather not yasou or some other melees avoid his Ultimate with by using their skill because i want him to be the melee counter, i want skarner to feel like a ruthless scorpion who is looking out for people's deaths. By other meanings, i want range characters + mages to be the kiters of skarners while him being melee counter and also Tanks are able to cc him to save teammates. In this case he'll have so much counter plays to bully him and kill him while being very tough in dueling combat which is quite fair for his overall style.

: This is a scary rework, especially coming from a guy who played Skarner since release. I can see some of the ideas working, like his new ultimate. That stuff is pretty damn terrifying, although in a duel, that would make you an automatic winner. Some things to note though, his Q being on 2 seconds and having a slow is super overpowered. I believe old Skarner had that permaslow in his kit and it was removed. Especially when it becomes 2 seconds with CD reduction AND the passive, that would not doubt destroy your opponents. The E's self-sacrifice attack is complicated, but a neat high-risk-high-reward type of ability. Although, I'm a little iffy about the cost and the healing. Isn't it a little redundant to deplete HP just to heal and fear? I don't know the exact numbers, but I was initially thinking that it was the same or higher percentage than the healing aspect. I dunno, prove me wrong.
Oh yes i tried to make the abilities matching his lore perfectly for being a shuriman scorpion , i always thought of the identity of being a very dueler champion who is focused so well on 1 v 1 situations and i also gave him so many counter plays to bully-beat him in teamfight or lane For his Ultimate it won't always win you the fight because the target can cast summoner spell and that's mentioning {{summoner:4}} {{summoner:1}} or having {{item:3140}} to block his ultimate which is quite enough to counter For his Q, it's the only thing that gives him a melee hit while he is all suppose to be a melee duelist scorpion, we can tone down the slow for a bit but it 'll be fair enough for him since he'll be kited and i wanted to keep his identity of being Q spammer but not in early game it's why i gave him 10 seconds level 1 q and 2 seconds level 5 q so in late game his q is Scorpion's Q for his E i revamped that by having people giving me feedbacks. My previous E concept was "Skarner executes himself whenever he reaches 10% hp or less by an active skill, and when he executes the ground will be errupted of poison, dealing [ same damage i mentioend] but +ap scaling and it also slows by 50% which is very risky yet very powerful so after i took the feedbacks from people i revamped his E active to "Juggernaunt like thing" where you have to lose flat hp on purpose if you are under 50% hp to restore 3/3.5/4/4.5/5% and also terrifies enemies around you for 1 second that heal can be also negative if you don't build hp but if you build hp + visage then that heal will be a bonus if you reach 50% hp you'll heal because losing flat won't hurt him if he stacks hp + the fear for 1 second as an interesting mechanic for a shuriman scorpion So basically if you build him { tank hp + attack speed] then you'll see him his biggest powerspike in late game but if you build him full attack speed for your passive and damage too then you'll end up dealing rediclous damage from ultimate + q but you won't be able to use your passive + w + e because they need you to be tanky and with this kit i gave to him all skarner players will be building him right to have his biggest powerspike in late game which suppose to be attack speed + hp + Cdr I also kept his E's passive all magic and also has a scale in case if "those who wish to go ap skarner with tank" can also do the work by being fairly tanky and doing pretty solid magic damage while maxing E first and that's what skarner supposed to be a hybrid hyper melee dueler carry in late game who is based on "on hit attack speed + poisons + interesting mechanics while stacking hp"
: Mastery 7 Skarner player here. He looks perfectly fine in game, in fact he's really fucking cool. His kit on the other hand, oh lord, it requires extensive work.
I mained skarner from his release date and i definitely think he needs a full update for his gameplay and visuals, can't complain about that one :) He is meant to be a shuriman scorpion , a mean and ruthless dueler, but look at him he is purplish half attack speed half tank without any interesting gameplay

Exactly that should be his typical basic skin because he is a shuriman scorpion means that he should have the black scaling because he is a deserter while having golden armors on him and with a cool looking claws would be just a bizzare looking creature in league. For his other skins they all could use a revamp, I'd like earth Skarner to stay earthy looking but they could make him more "Rocky looking" with a lot of rocks around him For Sandscourge Skarner that could use work too, imagine a red skarner with golden armors and red eyes? that what sandscourge should be like For Guardian of the sands, colours are great but the visuals could use a revamp Battlecast also could be changed to something more interesting, more like a machine scorpion with chainsaws around him built by irons and metal scales than being a war tank in a scorpion structure

: Not having undying is kinda sad lol. It is very easy to cc tryndamere and being such an old champ, EVERYONE knows exactly how he works and his limits. Its only noobs that get caught by him spinning in from the jungle lol. That being said I think a rework is in order. Literally been pretty much the same tryndamere since open with very slight changes. Having to rely on hits for lifesteal is what tyrndamere is about. That and crits. I say lets try it! : So i feel like you're trying to make him a late game hyper like Jax, but I feel like he'll fall into a similar place as he is now. One of the issues I see is much like those of champs who have no skillshots. They can be very overbearing because the game lands AAs for you. Skillshots give the ability for counterplay and outplay. I can see someone rushing a Righteous Glory with Glacial Augment and just steamrolling someone at 10 minutes in. Q: I feel like giving his Q a fixed conical skill shot that alternates from side to side as he switches that applies on hit effects and has some kind of AD scaling and reduces in cooldown by one second per autoattack (much like he already has). I feel like giving him a straight line, medium width skillshot the stuns the first person hit for some amount. Lets say 1/1.5/2 seconds, deals some damage, and applies grievous wounds. I couldn't tell by your post, but I assumed based off the rest of the kit that it would be an empowered auto. I liked your idea of dealing increased damage from skarner, so switching out grievous wounds with that would be good [img]https://i.imgur.com/BRwx9Ph.png[/img] E: Auras are dangerous. Let's say you're on the Twisted Treeline (who knows why). You could have Lord Van Damm's Pillager, Sunfire Cape, and this passive. I like the heal idea, if he's going to be a buck wild hyper carry diver like jax or aatrox, a little sustain sprinkled in is good. If he's going buck wild, I also like the idea that you could cause problems even after you die is neato. The death puddle is good.
Indeed, as a lore based Shruiman Scorpion i always thought he should be mostly specialized in late game dueling combats while being an attack speed based Juggernaunt. For his Q i wanted him to use both of his pincers at the same time, i like the idea of a skillshot that hits from side to side on his Q but that would make him hit one pincer after another and i thought that using them both and stabbing the target would be a cool animation on his Q For his R, i tried to stay away from range abilities on Skarner beacuse i gave him a powerspike in late game considering E + Q a powerful combo to keep going in late game. If i gave him a range ability that'll help him crushing on ranged targets while i really wanted him to be very strong in his melee combat only so the range characters can kite him. I wanted his Ultimate to be what a sting of a desert scorpion should be like in League of Legends, one sting in a melee range and he makes the target tired, also makes the target unable to fight or use abilities but is able to run away or use summoner skills to avoid skarner's R which is how you suppose to counter it if you are alone. for his Aura of poison on his E's passive that's another thing i always thought of on him because With his W R Q Kit it's all focused on melee range and he is a scorpion after all, an extra poison on his exoskeleton is gonna be pretty interesting, imagine a green sunfire around his body. well not green could be yellow idk but at least a poison aura on his exoskeleton while learning the skill E is something interesting Thanks for the feedback Btw :) I hope these helping you to understand why i chose this kit to him and why i couldn't give him range ability

I mean, A flat 5x multiplier to your health regen in a teamfight... Pop a Red buff.. Nigh unkillable. 2: 50% Crit rate passive... Not saying OP.. But there's a big reason people bitched about his current crit passive, And Yasuo's Crit passive. 3: This one is something that.. Took me a while to realize.. But lets get one thing down.. At level 9, If you take 5 levels into your W... With your W cast, You get 50% Crit chance (Passive) And +100% Increase to your crit DAMAGE... Tack on that his Ult, Which will give him, level 1 ult since you know, level 9, 60% Life steal, and 10% Increased physical damage.. Now, It doesn't matter which way you cut it, You're doing 330% of your normal damage if you crit, And considering you're more than likely going to have your IE by now, Probably more like 385%.. This is not even counting what'd happen if you used your Q... And you're going to be healing 60% of that.. now, I know a lot of people are going to say "Just stun him" Or "Just Grevious wounds" 1 big change.. 1 big factor to all of this... >E can critically strike, has a 100% AD scaling There is no stopping that. Whats going to happen is you're going to pop W, E in, and anyone that survives is going to die in seconds... : Yes I can see him working like this as kind of a happy medium between a tank like voli and a jugernaught like Darius. as for his ingage we can pull a card from cho'gath's book and buy a rightious glory since everything it gives works well on this kit. If Rightious glory were to be almost manditory like with Cho though I'd suggest going Domination secound for Ingenious. As for mana you might want to increase the mana cost on q to be similar to Darius's w since they both achieve a similar goal. All other mana costs seem fine. With the mana cost on w being high a good item would be an abbyssal mask since you can achieve a good level of dps from its aura + E passive. As for being a shuriman sand scorpion do you think if this change went through they would make sand scourge his base and give a crystaline skin for those who already owned it. So current build Idea {{item:3078}} ---{{item:3800}}or{{item:3001}} (which one first based on lane opponent/ JG and whoever the strongest on the enemy team is)--{{item:3124}}---(buy which ever 2nd step item you didn't buy, unless theres no ap than don't buy {{item:3001}}, if there's no ap go{{item:3110}} or{{item:3075}} )--(last item is situational but I would go{{item:3065}} into any kind of heavy ap or when im the only front line to increase the sustain on e but if not going into heavy ap I would go an hp item such as{{item:3083}} or{{item:3022}}) and then boots are up to personal preference But you can go either{{item:3006}} to maybe cap that cd passive or{{item:3009}} to fend off kiting with its slow reduc and high flat movespeed to amp the percent movespeed on w.
Definitely he'll be played as a juggernaut based on attack speed, i also wanted to keep his identity of being solid to kill so i kept his W untouched. For his lore and his visual i believe he should have a black scaling since he is sand scorpion while giving him a golden scales or golden armors around him. I believe they could give it to those who already own him a purple skarner skin as a gift for the ones who'll miss his colour. I am not really sure how to post a picture on my concept how to do that ? i could add a photo about a sand scorpion

: I like your Idea and this solves a lot of his current problems. You have to be careful when playing with crit damage ampliphiers though because as we saw with the old runes having 100% bonus crit damage can turn tryns early game into a horrifying experience ( I know you could only get 48% bonus crit damage from old runes, i used to cheese this on Jhin mid) I also recomend that he does have some kind of resource for using his abilities (put some base healing in some where and make his abilities cost health, this will make him still be able to jungle but have some kind thought to using his abilities instead of just spamming q in lane for cs and trading with e + 5th auto. As for where the healing goes Id suggest putting a missing health healing on the first 4 auto of q). As for build you put down what I would do since he gets a free 50% crit chance going IE into either phantom for dueling or static for splitting. death dance is best for his sustain since it will heal him for his q and e damage while giving cdr and damage redirection. Titanic is great for auto reset and spirit for the healing. The only flexability I could see is maybe if going into double/triple tank comp going for a lord dom over titanic or BotRK over DD. Runes his main would prolly still be in PTA but i could see a strong argument for phase rush or Grasp. Regaurdless of his Main and secondary one of them should be persision for the AS and so he can have Triumph and last stand. Good secondary runes would prolly be revitalize(If you can't tell from my last post I love this rune)-second wind(You get some good healing on this when low health) or dominations sudden impact and ingenious (lower titanic cd for dueling and more wards for splitting. Also sudden gives lethality for you to cut through squishies easier). Now I don't know if I missed something but what does threatened do. His w mentions enemies in range of him become threatened. : This is pretty cool! Good concept +1 I don't have opinions on the numbers because I don't know Skarner all that well, but others seem to think this might be OP. I'd like to point out that if you're giving him CC and survivability AND mobility, his damage would have to pay for it. He's got a lot of different things going for him in this concept, which might mean each form of power has to be diluted somewhat. If you want something to be powerful consider removing other sources of power to manage his power budget.
I made few minor changes, added mana costs for all abilities/ changed his E for what i heard from other people saying the idea of self execution can be pretty negative and weird ability to use even if it's unique. I can take off the slows from his E so with that he'll have no CC other than the 1 second fear from his E ability [ Cruel ] if he is below 50% hp which is quite fine mentioning that is still going to be played as an attack speed based juggernaut without mobility. I'd keep the slow on his Q because that's the only ability that'll carry his power of his damage so it would be more rewarding that you slow the target when you get on top of it, but i could change the slow to maybe 25-30% rather than 40% Thanks for the feedback :)

: Mm, yes I realize that a lot of this was taken from Skarner's current kit, but there are some problems. - Adding an active fear to his already strong mobility and shield gives him unparalleled escape potential. And not only that, even tweaking how Voli's E worked raised his winrate by 25%. I am not exaggerating here. Skarner is in the dumpster right now, I acknowledge that, but that's because when he's good he's too good. - Being an ability and not an AA reset, Skarner's current Q CAN'T CRIT TWICE. This is why i said it was broken. Not only does the ability provide a doubled attack AND has essentially a 280% AD scaling (since it has 180 base damage as well as a 100% AD Scaling), it can also CRIT? If Skarner has let's say 300 AD and full crit, then EACH HIT of his Q hits for 1,200 damage before armor. That's 2,400 damage on one ability, and that's not even his ult!! - Even if he doesn't build full crit and goes onhit bruiser, doublehit abilities proc triforce twice! He builds a Sterak's and goes full tank and he's still oneshotting squishies and outduelling any other bruiser or fighter in the game. And that's JUST his Q. - The poison might be melee range, yes, but look at this example build. {{item:3116}} {{item:3001}} {{item:3068}} {{item:3151}} {{item:3026}} {{item:3009}} He can literally walk people to death and take little punishment for doing so. Sunfire cape deals 43 Magic damage per second at max level, combine that with the AP scaling on his E with Liandry's and Rylai's and that will give him about... 84 Magic damage per second (that's his base damage plus the 20% AP scaling). But wait! Abyssal Mask and Liandry's STACK, to give him a bonus 20% increased magic damage in combat, and Liandry's gets rid of 2% of max health per second, since Rylai's is slowing the target through Skarner's poison aura. Which escalates to a grand total of... 150 Magic damage per second, plus 2.4% of max health on each tick. He gets this JUST FOR WALKING AT THEM. And if they try to punish him for doing this, he can just activate his W to fear them, ult one of them, and then snip them to death with Q while taking very little damage. And this is supposed to be an AP BRUISER build. His deathcast on this ability only doubles the poison damage for the next 3 seconds, which will not matter if he has GA, because he'll just come back to life and run. And if they try to stay near him to kill him on resurrect, they'll die to the AP item passives. - If I've gotten the ult reading from you correctly... the CC on his ult is Pacify. Lulu is the only champion who can use this offensively, on her Polymorph. It's very strong, and alone I wouldn't say that it's too busted, but in combination with everything else it's just too much. Not to mention the double damage buff on his ult for the next 2 seconds basically guarantees a kill on whoever he ults, no matter what he builds. In short, this guy sounds really fun to play, if a little boring. But absolute HELL to play against. He'd be pick/ban on release and nobody would ever get to play him. He is simply too strong.
Well if you build him this build, he'll be kited, slowed to death and won't have his chance to keep going unless you are playing against all melees then ofcourse this will work for him Mentioning he has no kit to get close to you aside from his W if it's diving you He can't really do much for being a melee attack speed based juggernaunt. but if you are a melee who got caught by him then you'll have a very tough time dueling him while his lore supposed to make him a lethal scorpion from Shuriman kingdom. It's not gonna affect the enemy team other than a dueling combat because you can just dive the whole team with ap build on your E [ you will be bursted to death from enemy team] you are forced to build tanky because you are immobile but sunfire would be one of the items to stack for his E for extra magic damage per second which is quite good. He won't be op, he'll have Pros and Cons and i mentioned that in my end topic that he'll have so much stuff to deal with while being very bloodthirsty scorpion Even if you are playing against melees, if you build ap on him the melee can counter you by building Maw or any Mr item that'll reduce the overall damage by sunfire + liandry + abyssal + his passvie from E it's not broken I also made a minor change to that concept, i moved the fear to his E's active so his w won't be the first to max and i added mana costs to all abilities and that'll give him another counter tips if he is oom then he has nothing to do against you other than his E only, also took off the idea of executing himself and made it a minor sustain as a juggernaunt it should make more sense on him. Additionally i took off the ap scaling on the erupted poison since i revamped the idea of self execution into minor sustain so he'll be forced to be played as a tanky or a bruiser with attack speed while doing a very strong dueling damage in his melee range against any target I can change his Q's Critical Idea similar to Yi's Q not 100% bonus damage but maybe 25%-50% extra damage on crit, Also with full crit + penetration build it would be pretty fine that he'll deal a very strong melee damage, while he'll have a very hard time getting on top of target in teamfight. Ex : {{item:3508}} {{item:3031}} {{item:3046}} {{item:3087}} {{item:3033}} {{item:3006}} he'll be bursted to death before he could deal over 1k damage per Q

I will edit it then, changing his E and i'll add mana costs too all abilities, i'll also add a cooldown for his E. In that case he should definitely be an attack speed based Juggernaut which is probably the best idea on him The idea of Bloodthirsty Scorpion who just wants to tear people apart in his melee range is something i always loved thought of because he is a shuriman scorpion, Shuriman champions are savage in general and he is a scorpion he should be the meanest of them in close combat. I'd say slows him since he has issues getting on target's range is the counter if he is tank if he is half damage half tank it'll be best to teamfight him CC him will definitely lock his power down and kill him as a teamwork fight and if he went full attack speed, he'll be duelist yet very easy to kill in teamfight and i definitely think that what a shuriman scorpion should be. He'll lack so much power in teamfight when people know what to do yet he'll still be one of duelist and meanest champions in 1 v 1 late game

That would even help them for their Champion reworks to take ideas from players who already made concepts about the champion and posted a video about how his abilities played too with a world editor program, It'll be so worth having and very helpful too.

This can be completed with a good brawler rune page. If you go presision and go either lethal temp or PTA (cdr/as vs effective single target dps) you can get a ton of AS while having things such as legend tenacity, cutdown, triumph or if he has mana probs you can go pressence of mind. for a secondary tree you can just play to your style/ objective in a fight: Resolve:if he is still ment to jg demolish/ conditioning is a good strat but for lane where trading is more important going boneplating into either unflinching or revitalize(stronger shields/ heals). Sorcery: Jg-celerity (Id say transendence but you would loose damage from it if you got attackspeed), waterwalking but for lane you might want clerity/ gathering storm Domination: Jg- zombie ward and ingenious hunter, lane-cheap shot/ravenous Inspiration: cosmic insight/ stop watch Now this idea is based on if AS you get from lethal triggers your passive. That plus rageblade might be enough to get you close to cap (new rage blade change would allow you to q aa to get full stacks plus his dual scalling works well with it). It really depends on his base AS, his AS gpl, interaction with non permenent AS (lethal, rageblade, ardent, nunu bloodboil ect.) because if all you need is lethal and one AS item you can afford to go into a tanky item 1st and 2nd and when your cdr is caped from any early tank items you can afford to specialize a spot for an AS item to raise your limit. If everything implied is true than going trinity + frozen heart caps base cdr adding in base AS, AS gpl and the AS from trinity and runes you should be able to get around an additional 10-20% cdr (not sure just guessing because i don't wanna do the math). this means that with say a rageblade and two tank cdr items (righteous glory 10%, black clever 20%, addaptive 10%, abbyssal 10%, warmogs 10%) you should be able to reach cdr cap while being tanky doing a pretty large amounts of dps. The only draw back i see is that you have 6s to fight (lethal tempo) once that over your cdr might drop by 5-10%. this forces you to be in a much weaker but still strong stat but the cd on your abilities changing might throw off even an experienced player. Then again this is your concept and im sure you've at least had an idea similar to this when implementing your choices of abilities. All in all though, I like the kit except for the killing your self ability. maybe try moving the fear to that ability instead (stab yourself dealing %current health damage to fear nearby enemies and increase the damage of the e passive by % for 5s)
I thought of that too, Lethal could be his main rune page but it'll have pros and cons after 6 seconds. so players would have other options on which rune to pick either more damage or more tanky or more attack speed for 6 seconds extra Cdr. If he max his Cdr he still won't really do much in teamfight because a group of 5 will bully him since his Kit is meant him to be a dueler scorpion rather than being a crowd control vanguard who jumps 5. If we could have a testing program in league for our concepts that would be amazing to realize if that kit needs a minor change or eithe rbuff or nerf. I can agree with you when you said his fear from W can go to his E's active while not killing him self because it might be something pretty weird to use. If it has to be changed I'd say the active of his E would cost Flat health to force him to build hp rather than all attack speed and screams around all targets near him, fleeing them for 1 second, and each terrified enemy champion restores skarner's health by 1% hp [ maximum 5% hp if he fears all 5 enemies around him] which is quite fair i'd say Again thanks for the feedback :) you have ideas i can learn from too Feel free to check my Tryndamere's Concept i made yesterday, i could use your feedbacks

In this case, if you don't believe the 100 armor + 20 CDR and 20% attack speed reduction aura. Then ofcourse you think Galio is better and Shen needs buffs. Just take a second and think of the stats you get when you itemize and and give him FH and if you think it's bad on him then i can't really change your mind. Do whatever you prefer
: enemy team engages on your team, they eat a justice punch and are taunted for a while, easy to land taunt and tornado. shen NEEDS to land his taunt, as if he misses, that's half of his energy gone, and almost every single assassin relies on doing damage with abilities, not auto attacks, which renders shen's w useless, and if they are auto attack focused like jax or irelia, why not play galio for an easier taunt? dodge zone lasts only 1,75 seconds, and the bruisers who auto attack almost always have some form of CC or survivability to outlast it and go back to wreck havoc anyways. let's talk engage now: like i said, galio has one of the best engage ultimates, a knockup, aoe taunt and comparable damage to shen, meanwhile, shen has one CC ability, an ultimate he's probably better off not using since three seconds of not putting out dps is gonna lose in the fight (or if he can do it, fight's already won by that point) and like I've been saying all this time: miss taunt and you have no real contributions to make
Well Shen is overall tankier than Galio against physical Damage, ya right if we are playing against mages 100% Galio better because with all the magic resist + hp He is extremely tanky but he can't really do much against auto attackers especially bruisers. Shen has the ability to take the melee down, his Q damage with titanic is quite powerful, he can solo adcs late game no problem because they can never damage/hurt him while his W is on his taunt is 1 click taunt it's pretty easy taunt . I don't understand why you have so much troubles using shen's taunt, just 1 click on the enemy and he'll dash to that target there is nothing hard about it , and his taunt deals damage, focused on single target, faster and has longer range to dash. Galio doesn't have long range to his taunt it's focused as an aura against enemies around him, so his taunt is best against auto attackers only, unless he flash taunts carries which will waste his flash Shen can taunt anyone anytime he wants, he has a good range on his E and he doesn't need any charge just 1 click = taunted. I play both i am a tank main and again i am telling ya no one is better. Everyone got his own power in a specific teamfight
