{{champion:90}} {{champion:101}} {{champion:25}} {{champion:115}} have safe ranged wave clear {{champion:74}} {{champion:82}} {{champion:27}} can shove really hard as well
xNECROx (NA)
: Jungler WW Ganking Illaoi/Countering Illaoi
generally juggernauts are difficult to just straight up beat in a fight- they're too tanky and dish out plenty of damage. and illaoi is a champion who gets stronger the more enemies are in range of her, so you should only be piling on top of illaoi when you're focusing her while she's CC'd and can't press her buttons to heal. in lower elo people just try to dog pile illaoi in a gank and wonder why they got 2v1'd when ganking illaoi as ww, walk up with fear, then chain into R. if she survives the cc chain and pops R, run.
: Is Diana worth to learn?
Hell yeah it's so much fun to just 1 shot people, diana was the 1st champion I learned for mid back in season 3(?) And it taught me how to roam, how to all in, how to optimize and snowball, if you're not familiar with assassins/to the game diana is a really simple and forgiving champion for that role. I don't say that as a bad thing, a champion who is less mechanically demanding ussually gets to play the game smarter

: Question for all: Why do you love the champions you play?
Right now I'm playing a lot of ekko and he makes me feel really smart when I play him One time I saw a kai'sa pathing through river into blue jungle on a ward and I was able to predict where she would be through the jungle with my W and get a game winning pick its moments like that

The idea of this build is die and punch enemies till dead, as you can see most of the items has on hit effects, I know it not so efficient because Sion passive no longer deals percent health damage If ur gonna build a carry sion build you should incorporate his passive, maybe not try and die every fight but keep it in mind when ur fighting, it's an option, but dying should rarely be ur mission (unless ur like karthus trying to stop a baron attempt) edti: sion passive still does percent health damage per auto, dont know where you're hearing otherwise

I'd sub out the zz'rot for something with more direct combat stats like dead mans plate, randuins, adaptive helmet etc. In ny experience of theory crafting, it's best to stop theorizing about builds after 2-3 items because everything beyond your core build is situational to the game
: First thank you for your comment. And my goal is deal good dps but stay tanky, by tanky i mean have a lot of hp. A big problem with carry sion builds is hes easy to kite and pin down with CC (a good vayne or kalista makes the champion almost unplayable) You could try something like cleaver, righteous glory, stoneplate with glacial augment to help keep yr opponents in range and save the stoneplate active when you're not focusing on yr damage (like when your out of range or being pinned)
: Hey what do you think about my sion build?
If ur goal is to make sion a juggernaut who can do good dps but gets shredded like paper late game then mission accomplished I'd just go cinderhulk, cleaver then straight tank, maybe a titanic as a rare 6th item

: Karma Gameplay Change Preview
Sounds interesting enough, karma in herself is already anti melee as it gets with her slowing tether root and ms buff shield, giving her lane mate a lower cd on their escape might make some lanes actually untouchable for some junglers
: Junglers, you need to learn what a TOP LANER is!!!!! (for those looking to really climb)
Would I rather gank top, who is a tank and will still do his job regardless of how fed he is or isnt, or gank bot/mid where the difference is my backliners being able to do their job Most top laners are self sufficient and the only ones who need jungle attention are bad ones Junglers gank the lanes that will lead them to winning the game, sometimes this is top, but what can a jungler actually get from top lane being ahead: Top lane advantage: this puts pressure on the enemy jungler to gank top, sets them behind TP advantage: to help control bot side/dragon Rift herald control Destroying top tower: economy boost Ganking mid- Mid advantage, makes it hard to enemy mid to roam and impact the map Mid priority- allows you to coordinate dives bot/top and invade enemy jungle, also opens up dragon/rift herald Mid tower- opens up the map, to gain control of enemy jungle quadrants Ganking bot- More potential gold- 2 players to kill Bot advantage- gives you dragon control and advantage towards fights moving forwards, an advantage that will outacale top laners resistances anyways Bot towers- boosts teams objective strength, makes taking baron easier -fed ad carry makes sieging/neutral objective contension easier Ganking top is the least advantageous lane to gank, the champions who go top are ussually the hardest to successfully gank past the early levels and if I'm ganking top while the enemy jungler is crushing bot/mid were probably gonna lose The only times I think ganking/camping top is the optimal play is when the enemy top is a early game carry like jayce who you can make useless and make them game a 4v5
: How do I get out of Silver?
Play annie learn ur fundamentals once you get to an elo your comfortable with then play support
: if you had to complain about ONLY one champ, who would it be?
{{champion:429}} if this champion is ever meta they singlegandedly deny like half the champion pool from being viable
: It Fucking Hurts
I've been playing league since season 2 never got farther then silver 4 because ranked is a much different environment from what I knew how to play, I wanted to play the champions I knew the best- the champions i had the most fun with, but those champions are seldom what we need to be playing to git gud. Nowadays i play league when I have time in between my 2 jobs and I only play to style on kids in normal draft with ekko, but if i was trying to get gud at a competitive level I'd be doing what anyone does with any sport, drilling on the fundamentals and practicing, over and over and over and over and over Play Annie, 1000 games on annie will teach you so much about league, get good at csing and rotating and making the low variance play and understanding laning through champions with no mechanical barriers so you can focus solely on the fundamentals of league Then the LP will follow That is if that's what you want. I get having depressing or self destructive thoughts and it took years with a cognitive behavioral therapist to work it out so i wont comment too much about how you're feeling. I will say that everything we feel serves us in some way, ask yourself how it serves you and if you dont like how it serves you then do the work to change it. Like that sweet LP, happiness only comes after you put in the work
: remember when lissandra...
Shes got a lot of priority in competitive play and is playable in all elos No one talks about her because theres nothing to talk about shes in a good spot Also new frozen statue passive probably coming sometime after pre season

Pull up the vod let's see where things went wrong
: Silver II trying to rank up
{{champion:1}} if ur below diamond 5 it means your mechanics and macro sucks and you need to be refining ur fundamentals on the training wheel champs {{champion:1}} will make you better at csing because yr Q is free, she'll teach you about wave control and when to push and not push in what matchups, and how to assess threat and lethal windows, she has no mechanics required (like garen) so all of your skills are focused on how well you know the game
: riots hypocrisy on deleting champions is infuriating
{{champion:16}} support champion who focuses on healing {{champion:44}} support tank champion who protects team with aoe defenses {{champion:20}} support tank jungler with good objective control None if these champions were changed drastically from what they already were, their abilities and kits were sharpened and made more fair in general but they werent deleted It seems you gravitate towards things that are just passively powerful and will just do its thing regardless of what the opponents doing (like green in magic: the gathering!) And are frustrated when riot changes them in a way that makes it harder to play them when the opponent is playing well
: What's the HUGEST thing you ever swallowed whole?
One time I was practicing deepthroating a banana and it slipped out of my hand and lodged in my throat, the only thing I could think to do was to jerk my neck around violently to try n mash it up so its go down smoothly The safer and easier method is to lay flat on an elevated surface (kitchen table, bed side etc) tilt your head back and let gravity take care of it
: Did i do a wrong call here or my teammate did? Give me your opinion
Your call was safer but slower, if you had 2 inhibs down baron was free if you had proper vision and waited for the waves to crash in their base Determining what the "right" call was is based on team comp, if they had the better late game letting them farm up 2 pushing lanes while pushing down a 3rd could lead to trouble if you mess up the siege From 1 jungler to another I wouldve done baron personally, melee champions are pretty weak in sieges and I'm confident in my smite fights and my knowing how to prevent them
: Share your OWN thoughts on how you'd nerf Kai'Sa, Graves, Irelia, Aatrox, Urgot & Akali
Kai'sa: buff her ability upgrades (increase Q rocket numbers, increase cast and speed of w, e unchanged) but increase the stat threshold so they dont come online until roughly 3.5 items in A heavy AD kaisa would be better at assassinating targets as her rockets would be stronger and work best against single targets An AP kai'sa would play more like a mage playing around picking and proccing passive for burst An attack speed kai'sa would be pretty much the kai'sa we see now without the empowered q or w What spell kai'sa upgrades should be a deliberate choice and not just something she falls into while itemizing for optimal dps, she shouldnt be able to get more then one upgrade, and those upgrades should be more meaningful because of it Graves: nerf his late game scaling, he can be this nightmare ranged bruiser bully just dont let him get to 1v5 carry mode, lower his ratios, lower his attack speed scaling Irelia: blade surge on minions can only apply 1 stack of ionian fervor, the counterplay to irelia is to not trade with her while she has passive up, but when she can constantly Qs the wave she zones you from the wave and is at her strongest when doing so, when yasuo had a stronger laning phase in earlier seasons he would do the same thing Aatrox: nerf q base damage, up tAD scaling, lower the discrepancy between Qs ability and the sweet spot, this makes him easier to play and makes him less of a "counterpick or die" scenario Urgot: I might be biased because I like urgot, and I think the games a better place when hes strong, but if hes truly unbeatable in lane then he just needs soft nerfs to his early game and let him scale back up Akali: Akali sucks and doesnt need nerfs
: 1) Start Red. Get a Leash (sometimes I don't get one - have to orb to reduce damage taken, can use Q to throw around Red Sentinel if need be to give trinket time to heal you) Start with {{item:1039}} (Allows more camp options than Knife does) 2) Level 2 E through Wall into Krugs. Hit both. If your Red was done correctly, Q should be back up as well. Alternate targets so that {{item:1039}} is burning/healing all Krugs at the same time in between skills. Pop one charge of {{item:2031}} if you have to (I don't, but I generally do anyways just because I want to be higher HP at scuttle/raptors/ganks). Use smite to either kill the large Krug at 40% Hp, or full kill a second wave medium Krug. If you do this camp right, you should have the camp dead by the time you reach your third E, which should eliminate the last 4 small Krugs. 3) Your cooldowns will probably be on at this point except maybe Q. Walk to Scuttle to survey if it's taken or not. If not, take it. If it is, go back and level 3 off Raptors. Easy camp..... second smite should be ready, and Q/E make short work of the small raptors. 4) You should be level 3+ at this point, depending on if you got the red side scuttle. Either gank mid/top, or continue farming. Check the other scuttle (probably not up but doesn't hurt to look) 5) Hit up Wolves. Easy camp. just focus the big one, let {{item:1039}} take care of the small ones. 6) Blue: By this point your Red buff is gone, and you might have to orb a bit to do the camp, or throw it around a little. If you still have a healing charge, use it. Not a real hard camp. 7) If you have Nullifying Orb, you can Gromp pretty easy, as it will soak 1-2 hits from Gromp. Otherwise, your HP may be too low to take it. if you still had a pot at Blue, should be easy enough. --------------------- Now. That's just the first jungle clear. If it went correctly, you should be level 4 with 55% or so into Level 5. If you lost both scuttles, you're still level 4. Should have around 1245 Gold. You have several options then. -If you plan on being a hard early game ganker, rush {{item:3142}} . Skip finishing your jungle item because the {{item:3133}} works far better into that insanely fast move speed boost. Almost no early game lane can counter a Pyke gank with this item. Still..... it means late/mid game you might be too squishy to do more than a support would. -If you plan on Jungle farming vs a Tanky team, think about going {{item:3077}} , which will give you a third auto attack reset, and all hits aoe. The reason I say vs Tank is.... Pyke generally is tanky enough to trade tanks. Better to start offensively than to try to fight tanks with tank items. -If you plan on Jungle farming vs a High damage team that specializes in AD, think about rushing {{item:3751}} {{item:3076}} and then building them out. Both items speed jungle clear, and eventually give Pyke AD, and supplement his weak damage kit a little. -If you plan on Jungle farming vs a High damage team that specializes in AP, you might think about rushing components of {{item:3163}} {{item:3813}} , and possibly building parts of {{item:3078}} . CDR is your best friend vs a mage team..... more so than perhaps finished items. You can always finish them as you go. {{item:3071}} is generally a core item as well, but it's not a team specialized item. Another option if you're going jungle tank: {{item:3025}} adds a third dimension of camp clear. It clears camps extremely fast if you have Bami's + Thornmail, and generally isn't a bad item on certain runes. Keep in mind..... I generally am a Sorcery based Pyke, not Domination or Resolve. I do sometimes secondary Resolve, but I want to stress this, because if I give advice on something that has Mana in the item like an Iceborne, it's more of a "my preference" item.

: Pyke was already op now they are adding stuff like this that makes him even more broken. I think this will allow him to be played in the jungle again and or top lane. The regen is good for doing constant camps and not worrying about being low when ganking, and I guess the regen is good for a tank top Pyke I just hope I don't go against these lol.

Malzahar is what you're looking for, any champion whose counterplay is 'stay out of range of them' shits on squishy melee champions no matter how mobile Poppy, galio, any juggernaut, and karthus if you put 3 points in E 1st all do well too

: Might not involve changing the HP -> AD ratio, but instead replacing it with something with a similar purpose. Example of that (just an example, we don't have anything in testing yet) being something like 'Pyke gets X% less stats from HP, Armor, MR and Y% more stats from AD' or something similar.
> [{quoted}](name=Meddler,realm=NA,application-id=A7LBtoKc,discussion-id=zpaM5Ki1,comment-id=002f0000,timestamp=2018-10-05T17:24:12.947+0000) > > Might not involve changing the HP -> AD ratio, but instead replacing it with something with a similar purpose. Example of that (just an example, we don't have anything in testing yet) being something like 'Pyke gets X% less stats from HP, Armor, MR and Y% more stats from AD' or something similar. If ad pyke feels weak after his optimal build gets nerfed will you look to maybe buffing his cooldowns so he can use all that ad/lethality hes forced to buy, his cooldowns are so long and the abilities are more about their cc then their damage, it makes building ad feel like a forced weakness then a strength
: I am not sure how to get out of silver..... any advice?
My recommendation is playing some of the really vanilla champions in whatever role you play {{champion:86}} {{champion:1}} {{champion:32}} as examples These champions have lower micro mechanical expectations so you can use your game time learning fundememtal game stuff like wave management and map awareness (it's more then just looking at your mini map) Also dont really stress about wins and losses, if ur teams doing something stupid then they'll die, if you're doing the right thing then you won't die. It's not about winning and losing game to game- it's about getting good at the game, winning is a byproduct of that
