All boots but {{item:3117}} give 45 Movespeed. Swifties give 55 and slow resistance. JFC learn before you speak.

Meaning a lot of his damage is ability based. Furthermore, it wont make up the difference. The lucian is going to come back with more damage and the help tabis gives will be negligible, especially since that just puts jhin further behind. He just wanted gold on stats that will only briefly help in laning while lucian just bought a cutlass. Which gives him life steal as well to help him survive the nonexistent damage from the jhin with just boots.

: I mean if the lucian got two kills before 5 minutes, there is no point in either boot. That's just a lost fucking lane for Jhin as lucian's innate mobility and better dueling potential just means he shuts on Jhin regardless. This is made worse when you consider the supports; sona is squishy, more poke oriented, has a very piddly shield and heal, and has no hard cc pre 6 making her very vulnerable early levels to being dived and all in'd. Like seriously, sona starts the game with less health than a minion. On the opposite side, we have rakan who has a passive shield, a regular shield, and a heal, making him resistance to poke and his shield into knock up into shield again actually means he's stupidly good at all ins. The kind of boots would have done shit for this specific pair of laners once lucian got ahead. :/ their lane was just done.

: For damage? Jhin gets a lot of raw AD from crit passive MS + swifties converting to celerity. There is a reason to go it in that situation, more damage. Not saying {{item:3047}} isnt an option but I wouldn't call it incompetent to go swifties. Tabi is just asking to survive better (which jhin probably will not win vs already strong lucian with tabi anyway, so you're not living and you're not getting stronger either. Fuck if anything, lucian is the better tabi user in this case since he's already ahead, putting it on jhin doesn't make him win 1v1 vs lucian or 2v2.)
So build damage stats you wont live long enough to use instead of a competent defense item with 10 less Movespeed and a on-hit damage reduction passive... Wow your priorities are about as disgusting as the Jhin I had to deal with doing just this.

: One thing you can definitely do is switch from Lucidity to Sorc's. The pen is just straight up better than the CDR, which you're overcapping anyway, and I assume that's because you're taking Transendence, but 20 AP still just isn't as good as 18 pen, especially when your scalings are as measly as Zyra's and you aren't facing a tank.
I get 40% exactly, what are you talking about? I take Font of Life, is that in Sorcery?
: yeah you'll do decent dmg in the early game but midgame you have like no dmg at all, and mid game is literally the most important point in the game.
Excuse you? I do plenty of damage mid-game, not to mention I'd make up for any sort of drop with a massive boost in utility. I average 25k damage a game, want to know how much healing I give my team? 10k or higher depending on how many auto-attackers I have, I make up for any "damage loss" I get by being a catch-happy god dishing out free kills for my team with my root spam and keeping them healthy from half a map away with a Redemption.
