: can someone explain this clip?
Let me get this straight. You thought it would be a good idea to move in the direction of an assassin, as a lone marksman. Then, when that assassin jumped on you and went into hiding, rather than run away from the shroud (and thus Akali) you decided to head for your base instead and remain within range of her shroud so she could finish you off. Akali has a longer burst timer than most assassins, provided you don't stand around her shroud waiting for her to kill you. Lots of champions have difficulty dealing with Akali, but you were hand-wrapped a situation where you could get away or at least force her ult (she shrouded too far away from you to reasonably pursue without ult/flash) and you made the wrong play and died for it. Not seeing the problem here.

: Why can you cast spells while stunned?
Honestly whether it makes sense or not at this point it's become a balancing lever in the game. Whether or not a spell is interrupted by CC, whether or not a CC will stop a dash, are all things Riot can add or take away from individual abilities to balance them. For example, most stuns don't stop dashes, but hitting Veigar's Event Horizon does, which makes the ability stronger. Similarly, whether or not an ability is interruptible is a balancing lever: Tristana's Rocket Jump will not be interrupted by CC that occurs during its cast time, while Caitlyn's 90 caliber net has a short channel that allows inbound CC to interrupt it.
: So when the fuck can I play my goddamn champ because its been awhile since she went down????
Either when Riot hotfixes her item interaction bug or at the next patch (when it will presumably be fixed even if they didn't add it to a hotfix), whichever comes sooner.
: I Demand A Human
There's already a system to get a human. It's called filing a support ticket. Fill it out with as much information as you have (your observations during the game, their match history if it's something they do regularly, etc.) and send it in for review. The tribunal should not and will not be brought back. It was horribly behind, questionably accurate due to numerous tribunal members not even looking at info before making a verdict, and generally did little to actually curb issues. You made a comment earlier on this page requesting to have a "no-report" bias towards matchmaking, where matchmaking tries to place you _not_ with people you've recently reported. Good in theory, but Riot can't and won't implement it due to the history those kinds of systems have in other competitive games, where they're frequently used at the highest levels (where playing with/against people multiple times in a row or in the same day is fairly normal) to shadowban players deemed too bad or good, or who have just had a bad day of games and lost a few in a row.
: So apparently if a renown streamer makes a thread which makes the game look like being bad...
If vote manipulation is occuring (and it was, don't even argue that, a popular EU streamer asked his viewers to upvote the thread on stream, which is textbook vote manipulation) the mods are well within their rights to disable voting, as the voting no longer represents community opinion and is instead just a means to force the thread to the top of the hot pages.

: What's the dumbest thing you've ever read in match/board?
"I was the best player in the world on old Fiora so Riot reworked her to spite me. I mean it, I could beat every pro player with one hand tied if you gave me old Fiora, I was that good. No, I can't do it now, when Fiora was reworked I lost my entire will to be good at the game and my ELO plummeted."
: My Thoughts as a Karma OTP about Karma and these Karma buffs
Minor sidenote: Season Six wasn't ardent meta, Karma saw pro play then in part because she could (at the time) mantra-e a minion to speed up pushes and partly as part of the Sivir-Karma blitzkrieg comp that gave their team enough movespeed to force any teamfight they wanted, and she got nerfed because of her pro play dominance.
The higher your level, the longer your death timers. This has been true since forever.
: When Riot Buffs Karthus, Yi, and Vayne all in the same patch.
Are you complaining about the hotfix? Two of those were partial reverts of nerfs they made on the patch (NOT total reverts) and the third was a bug fix where they broke a mechanic on Vayne and had to get it working again.
: GAMEBREAKING BUG morgana shield not blocking quinn blind
This has been known since the Quinn rework gave her her nearsight, and considering Morgana has gotten a rework since then I think it's safe to say at this point that Riot intends that interaction to exist. To my knowledge it doesn't block other nearsights either.
: Draven Top?
The biggest concern in that lane is that Draven is squishy and relatively immobile. He's better off than some marksman in a solo lane due to his high early damage output and CC that can interrupt dashes but you'd still be vulnerable to being jumped on or camped by the enemy jungler.
: Why did Alistar go legend-dairy
: Nerfing some ap ratio on her W wont make her any worse at dealing with Thresh, in fact, her W doesnt do considerable damage when goes support, why would that nerf affect her in any way when she deals with thresh? What I'm more annoyed about is that if they intend for Morgana to be a support and thus nerf her mid lane potential, why dont they nerf Neeko's W passive if she is supposed to be a control mage?
They... did, though. They hotfixed Neeko's AS growth, AD growth, and W passive damage.
: well how do you propose we balance yas then?
Balancing Yasuo is an entirely different issue from being able to switch champions midgame. if you're saying that Yasuo can only be balanced by being allowed to switch champions, I strongly disagree with that, if he's overtuned he can have his numbers toned down appropriately or his windwall changed.
: League of Legends should let summoners change champions mid game
Outside of maybe some unusual gamemode, Dota 2 doesn't allow you to change hero midgame. Overwatch is a hero shooter, not a MOBA, so the mechanics of that genre aren't necessarily good things. This would also be a _massive_ game change that requires an entire rebalance of the game, and may not even be feasible to handle from a code level. It also removes a lot of the purpose of pick-ban: being locked into what you're playing for the game is what makes the phase so impactful and what gives things like counterpicks and scaling picks their meaning. Imagine, for a moment, playing Renekton top lane (or some equally strong early game top laner). you get a lead, maybe get a couple kills with jungle intervation, but you start to fall off late game. Except now you just switch to Kayle, and you get to skip her entire weak laning phase and difficulty farming to get her god tier late game earlier than most Kayles could due to their early game weakness, and still maintain your advantage over the enemy team. Being able to switch while in base in overwatch works because the hero kits are all there is, there's no added bonuses outside of them. Thus, switching is simply a tactical decision to either counter an enemy choice of pick something more suited to the situation. In league, with scaling, snowballing, and items, that system wouldn't work.

She has some invulnerability time to attack, the channel on the blades doesn't last the whole invulnerability duration.
: nashors tooth and gunisoo shouldnt stack !!!!!!! ON HIT DAMAGE
Did you lose to a Kayle last game? Yeah you lost to a Kayle last game, that makes sense. Do you have an actual reason behind why they shouldn't stack or are you just mad Kayle outscaled you in both items and kit as a hypercarry?

Which do you think is more likely: that a bunch of guys in a predominantly male sport behaved in a sexist manner and got warned for it, or that Riot threw a ridiculous tantrum to "protect" a team that's going to lose pretty much all their games pretty badly, due to limited time working together and low (for pro play) individual ranks.

Wow, it's almost like it should be no surprise to anyone that a bunch of guys in a male dominated sport acted super sexist and that was the reason they got warned. Not like that could have been guessed by anyone looking at the situation or anything, nope nope nope.

: when you jokingly request to trade champs and they accept last second
And this is how you end up with aftershock Quinn midlane.
: So what are you saying. It's fair to let anyone to bring zero mastery champions to ranked games? What would be good for a better ranked game experience?
I'm saying it's a system that can't feasibly be changed in that way, and that this subject has been brought up quite a bit and the result is always the same. Riot has mentioned in the past considering locking new or reworked champions from being used in ranked for a period after their release, although not much more has been said since so it's likely they dropped the idea (which is sad, because it's an idea I can get behind). While that solution would only apply to one or two champions at any given time, it would apply to the most frequent ones and would do so without causing an undue burden on people trying to play ranked normally.
I wasn't agreeing with you, I was pointing out some of the less obvious consequences of such a system. Pretty much all at once Riot would lose every one-trick or people with small champion pools who play ranked (because they could no longer play under such a system due to not having 20 champions with the requisite mastery) and champion trading would become a crapshoot, because owning a champion no longer allows you to pick it to trade to your teammate, you have to actually put hours upon hours into playing them, even if you'll never play them again, just so you could trade them if the need arrises.

: You forgot that Energized is a Unique passive.
Energized passives stack on top of each other: their damage doesn't increase, but the effects of all energized passives are applied.
: Demand the minimum mastery of champion pick in ranked!
Needing to have a certain level of mastery on a champion before you can even pick it a) massively increases the barrier to entry to ranked play in general since you'd need to have 20 champions at that mastery level (in order to avoid you getting banned and picked out) and b) seriously hampers champion trading, since if you want to pick a contested champion for someone later in the pick order you'd need to have the appropriate mastery on the champion, even if they are a champion you own but have no interest in actually playing.
tadeocean (EUNE)
: This is how RIOT should deal with toxic people.
You're right, the sheer volume of reports does in fact make it impossible for humans at Riot to review every single case. That's why reports are handled by an automated machine learning algorithm, rather than requiring human input. Riot actually did have a system kind of like what you suggest in the past, the Tribunal, but it was _painfully_ slow (as in, it could take months for someone's case to get reviewed) because there's simply too many reports for even a decent chunk of the playerbase to easily wade through.
: Can Ornn get a REAL defensive steroid?
If you were to give him a new defensive steroid, what type of defensive steroid would you want him to have, and where would you want it to be placed?
: [GAMEPLAY] Kayle's Zealous Passive doesn't stack when attacking structures
That's intentional. They actually changed her passive partway through the PBE cycle to refresh on tower hits, originally tower hits wouldn't refresh it either and you'd lose your stacks when attacking towers.
: why is ezreal getting banned lately?
My understanding is he's pretty strong right now and scales extremely well with the double tear build, which is why he's getting AP ratio nerfs next patch. That, combined with his general safety and poke nature annoying some players, are probably why you're seeing him banned a lot.
: What the hell is level experience??
I'm assuming you were the bot laner in that game? Yasuo, as a solo laner, gets considerably more experience during the laning phase because it's not shared with the support, and unless you spent a lot of time alone in a side lane later in the game your experience gain was cut considerably by being in proximity to allies when CSing/getting assists alongside a whole bunch of allies. Getting the last hit provides no extra experience, which is why in early laning phase support and bot lane carry often level up at the same time (later on it's usually disrupted by roaming, deaths, kills, or back timings).

It is definitely super weird, especially since in the replay your bandage seems to just materialize on them after casting, with no travel animation (but an appropriate amount of travel time). I dunno.
JuiceBoxP (EUNE)
: Amumu Q bug on airborne targets
I think it's because of where you grabbed them: you grabbed them while they were in the wall and you were already butting up against that same wall. So it tried to pull you towards the Kal, but it's pure wall between you and her so it couldn't, so you just stayed mostly in place.

: Spear of Shojin - Viable on which champs apart from the obvious riven/renek/jax etc?
I've considered testing it on Vi when her changes come out. Biggest issue is fitting it into a build, jungle Vi in particular would want to build three different items (plus boots) ahead of it so it'd at best be a late game luxury.

: Why doesn't root effect stops a dashing champion?
There are a few non-knockback CCs that explicitly do stop dashes (Veigar cage, Jinx chompers, Ashe Arrow, Viktor's Gravity Well, Malzahar Ult, and Poppy "no dashing" zone), but for the most part immobilizing CCs will not stop dashes. Whether or not it's a good thing is up for debate, but they are balanced around that fact.

The best players are one tricks. Additionally, this does not encourage players learning multiple roles. Instead, it encourages players to not care about the game when they're placed into a role that they don't do well in because their main role isn't affected (and only their top role matters). The only thing this system does is cater to casual egos while hurting the climb of those who deserve to climb. The original system, where players had to actually cooperate to optimize the team, was better not just for encouraging team work but also giving players a reason to practice all roles. If you were last pick, you were generally gonna be supporting and that was it.

Yup, the grading is pretty heavily weighted towards more stable metrics (like CS and ward score, which a good player can generally keep consistently within a range) than volatile ones (like KDA, which can vary greatly on a game-by-game basis even for the best players).
: I’m really happy for these changes. Hopefully it’ll be a rune you can bring into lanes where trading is difficult instead of being a rune where you just win every trade and shove wave at the same time
I feel like if trading is already difficult in a lane it might be worth bringing some other keystone, getting your five stacks and then continuing trades is going to be super difficult if you're already struggling. It's probably going to be mostly brought on champions who can stack it quickly (such as Riven, Yi, Cassiopeia, etc).
Alzon (NA)
: What about AoE? Does hitting multiple champions with the same ability grant multiple stacks?
Hitting multiple enemies provides only one stack of conqueror, at least on the couple of abilities I tested hitting multiple targets with.
: Have you tried {{champion:268}} 's multiple hits with a soldier and multiple soldier hittings? I feel like this would be hella broken if it worked. Also, {{champion:69}} 's seems like it can stack AND refresh, so yeah, I hope she gets some reaaaaaal nerfs since she already deserved some
I did not test it with Azir, will do so when the PBE is back online again. And yes, Cass, despite it not stacking or refreshing on her DoTs, will still be able to use it due to how short her E cooldown is.

Are you using best or hot to sort the boards? Those algorithms might shove the downvoted threads out of sight by virtue of them, well, not being considered "best" or "hot". If you switch it to recent (or new, probably) you should see plenty of downvoted threads.
Neriticc (EUW)
: So Darius will be even stronger with the new Conqueror.
Nope. DoT spells only give you a stack when you hit the target initially, and DoT passives give no stacks at all. The DoT also doesn't refresh your stacks, so they'll start falling off while your DoT is ticking.
Rioter Comments
: So, 16/4 is not S worthy.. But 4/0 is?
As a laner (and to a lesser extent as a jungler) you get graded pretty heavily for your CS. In the 16-4 game you haad around 6-7 CS per minute while in this one you had 8-9, which is likely what pushed you over into the S rank range.
: About the experimental Vi changes
Sure, those off builds are never likely to take off (although with the excessive force AOE critting crit Vi might see a little bit of niche play as a for-fun build), but I don't think that's the point. Are they likely to overtake her bruiser build? No, almost certainly not, and I don't think Riot intends them to. It's just to open up the option, should people wish to take it, and give them slightly more Viability.
: Sylas bug????
Since Sylas doesn't have a fury bar, when he steals Shyvanna's ult and uses it he gains a temporary mana bar that depletes in much the same way as Shyv's fury bar does. however, since it's a mana bar, in URF it won't actually deplete so he can maintain the form indefinitely. Since it's only an URF bug, it's probably not super high on the fix list.
Lirb (NA)
: Played Support, Lost LP for Bottom?
I can't say for sure, since I don't know how Riot's system works. I think it may be because you (likely) CS'd quite a bit since you were the only player from your team in bot lane so it assumed you were in the bot lane carry position?
m0zz4r3ll4 (EUNE)
: Worst URF champions
Unless the enemy has a pretty awful team, I've found Taric to be pretty bad in URF. Fun, but bad. While in theory he should be pretty strong due to his usual limitation (mana) being removed, his immobility and delayed spells bite him in the ass in a game mode where everyone and their dog is trying to burst and CC you, and his defensive spells aren't enough to keep him alive when everyone is doing tons of damage (especially with Morello's being core on like every mage making his heal even worse).
: There really a punishment for trading with someone in lobby?
It's a part of the positional matchmaking system to prevent abuse of it to get easy games. Imagine two people each queueing in each others main roles (that they have low MMRs in) and then swapping every game. Since the matchmaking was based on them playing in an off role, rather than their main role, the game is now much easier for them and much more likely to be a win.
