: Riot, Riot please this needs to stop... it has gone too far! Creep blocking out of control!
except that riot says this type of thing is 100% intentional, and 'won't' fix it. because the game needs to have these kinds of situations for 'balance'. what a load of horseshit.
: not necessarily, they just have to figure out how to make it happen without the consequences
Pika Fox (NA)
: Ok, ill make this REAL simple for you, in terms you *should* be able to understand. 5-1=4 Therefore 4+1=5 So, now bear with me, this is the hard, complicated part If you have 4 people on a team, and require 5 people per team to play the game, what does that mean for solo players? I know word problems for math are hard, but this one should be easy.
Ok, ill make this REAL simple for YOU, in terms you _should_ be able to understand. But probably won't since all you can do is spam AI bots.. In league there's these things called 'game modes' that exist outside of AI bots.. one of them is called 'solo/duo queue' or generally just 'solo queue' - which the OP has played nothing but for the past week. In solo queue, there can _only_ be 1 or 2 players queued for it at a time., and since very advanced math is your forte in life, I'll assume that you understand. But just in case.. If you can't even have teams of 4, _ or 3 or 5,_ in solo queue.. and you can only have combinations of 1s and 2s, what does that leave us with? 1+1+1+1+1 = 5, or 1+1+2+1=5 or 2+2+1 = 5. but, bear with me now, as this is the hard, complicated part.. there is no 4+1 = 5 if there can't be teams of 4 in solo queue, now is there? I know understanding simple restrictions on game modes in the big scary world outside of AI bots is hard, but even this should be easy for a brilliant math wiz such as yourself.
Pika Fox (NA)
: You.... Do realize how matchmaking works, right? What do you want, 4 man premades to go 4v5 into a game?.....
by all means, tells us your vast knowledge of the game and it's matchmaking as an AI only player.

: Stop throwing me into premade teams.
Are we talking about normals here?.. because flex doesn't allow for 4 mans anymore... and if it's normals, who gives a fuck, you're not losing lp? tho.. the last game you played when this was made, as with all your games, was solo queue ranked... you do realize that solo queue doesn't allow 4 mans either right? and those 4 other players you're yelling at for "goofing off" in a premade certainly don't know each other and see you as the angry troll...
Asud (EUNE)
: Since MMR is invisible. How difficult do you think it actually is to pin you to face team who has on average 200 MMR more in your promos On 5 men in the team 200x5 makes 1000 which is almost guarantee for you to lose game. It's actually so easy to apply a child with 10 hours invested in programming could do it. And they dont even need to make the 200 difference on average. 70-100 is more than enough. Its nearly impossible to detect. Added up it makes from 350 to 500 mmr difference making it probably 60%to40% in favor of the enemy team. Which is more than enough to hold most people down in promos. I cannot really prove it but i play quite a bit of promo games, failed promos, my friends promos when we are premade and its clockwork precise. You get a guy who plays ezreal mid full AP and has 35% winrate in 100 games. You get a Tristana adc who loses one kill to her support and goes afk. I check out her profile turns out she does that every 4-5 games. You get a guy who appears to be 2/3 divisions higher than you but is on a 15 games loss streak while put up against a guy who appears to be 2 divisions lower but has won last 10 games. Also i think I found a pattern. If it can it will put 2 guys in promos together and force them to both lose. If there are 2 guys in promos on one team and 1 on the other, the team with 2 promos loses. We are slaves of the system designed to force you to play more. nothing else.
you're replying to the wrong person though. im the one who is already agreeing with the fact (though sarcastically) that this is both possible, and very very obviously the case. like its not even funny, they dont even try to hide anymore with how bad this seasons matchmaking goes the difference between lp ranked games, and promos games, is absolutely drastic. even once you rank up, and hit that next division its still NOT EVEN CLOSE to as bad as the previous promos matches, in terms of bullshittery. far beyond the point where some people could be like "well this could just be a coincidence" and to the point where it's actually laughable that riot thinks we're this dumb.

: Yasuo
why do people bother making these threads? riot is never going to change yasuo from a cancerous/obnoxious state that all the "edgy" kids who buy his skins play.
: Because riven's shield cd in the early game isn't an issue. Early it is used to take a free tower shot in a dive or make a trade, never being spammed off cooldown in the first place. The three second Q cooldown later though nearly lines up with the 4 second shield reduction and means she can stack conqueror, {{item:3071}}, and {{item:3161}} that much faster. And wouldn't you know it, faster {{item:3161}} procs means shield's CD gets reduced more often. These "nerfs" are a joke.
that's because riot somehow isnt considering this combo and the implications... still. or else they really do just know better and are never going to be willing to nerf/remove their precious {{item:3161}}
Cevrad (NA)
: I feel like you don't understand how massive the conq nerf + shield nerf are... 20% off of conqs overall power is a pretty big nerf to her sustain alone, and then you have her e being alot longer of a CD. I get that you didn't think before posting this, but please look at the numbers first, the Q buff does not help her sustain which is where the problem is, and it just got hit pretty hard.
Elipo (NA)
: Don't apologyse. If I had an epileptic kid I wouldn't let him play video games. It's like apologyzing to someone that ate your food with peanuts knowing it had peanuts and knowng they had a peanut allergy because they got an allergic response {{sticker:slayer-jinx-unamused}}
you are so full of shit dude, there's no reason at all that by 2019 riot doesn't know better about this kind of thing, and cant work with their own community by now to have in game precautions for this. peanuts can't be coded out of something theyre known to be in, or given a toggle setting to reduce the allergic response. riot _knew_ they could, and should code this, but chose not to. the amount of nonsense you're spewing is next level bullshit and im certain you know better as well
Elipo (NA)
: Yeah, it's not like playing videogames while you have epilepsy is irresponsible ... better blame others if you get one of the posible consecue ses of willingly doing so
ur right, people with epilepsy shouldn't play games, watch tv, or step outside of their household. just lock themselves into a dark room all day and ignore the fact that life exists and people can be happy. better for riot not bother to take precautions for the players that _do_ still play the game with this condition because riot is as lazy with this as anything else. they could have just as easily made a different reward from this event, one that _doesn't trigger epilepsy_. dont kid yourself defending them fanboy. they literally just admit they knew better, but decided not to do anything about it.
Ackelope (NA)
: against the spirit of ranked? I'm not sure that I agree. I think it'd be better to have an individual by-player option to turn them off, I think you'd peeve plenty of people by disabling them entirely in any queue.
hell of a lot better than causing brain damage some players _if they clearly aren't going to do that_
: So basically, in summary, "get fucked and dont play for a couple months, people with epilepsy" ----------------------- How this hasn't become an immediate issue, considering it poses massive health risks to people with photosensitive epilepsy, is honestly astounding. It should be prioritized as a hotfix to at least change the animation as to not allow the risk of *potential permanent brain damage* to anyone with the disability. ------------------------ This is just frankly shameful tbh. {{sticker:slayer-jinx-unamused}} -AA
THIS. as someone with dangerous health issues myself i couldn't believe the response here from the dev.. how incredibly irresponsible. this is the kind of incompetence companies get sued for... even IF it wasn't the health risk that it is, how is this kind of thing ok? and he just non-chalantly says "nah, basically go F yourself, we decided against safer programming for people like you because we're lazy".. and yet he got upvoted? wtf? **remove the fucking thing completely then if it's causing potentially dangerous problems for some people**
: At least being in the friend zone is infinitely better than being forever alone in both figurative and the most literal sense of the word. ...... That being said, I've always personally felt that the concept of "friend zone" is rather silly. I mean, intimate lovers and whatnot kinda have to be acquaintances and friends first, right? Not sure why the mere notion of being friends is somehow as if a 'death sentence for any future development period(!)' for so many. I'm quite sure people are quite capable of getting into knowing each other as acquaintances and friends **before** deciding that they want to fuck with and spend the rest of their lives together, instead of during or after; just because a relationship that may or may not start with being friends, it doesn't necessarily mean that's the extent of the development it's ever going to get. If you would ask me, I'd definitely say starts as friends first. I mean, what's the point of the relationship, especially one that's intending to be close at some point, if you don't even know each other well and aren't that comfortable with casually hanging out with each other since you barely know one another? But then again, that may be the secret to my forever alone status that indiscriminately includes both romance and friendship. So probably don't take my words too seriously, idk. Still, I'm sure most people only talk about "friend zone" extremely casually (unless you're very sexually frustrated or something, I guess), which is cool.
this guy is easily doomed to forever be friendzoned by all women.. bet..
jazzgazz (EUW)
: Darius is only really that strong in extended fights, and because there's so much damage in top he's either died to some braindead tank with too much damage (Sion or Urgot) or just auto-attacked to death by a bruiser with conq. He's range sucks as well so he's really easy to poke (unless he burns flash or ghost) so he's probably already lost 10-25% before the fight begins
as told by the bronze 1 top laner, playing against bronze darius players..... play in a real elo and get back to us how "easy" darius is to deal with.
Cdore (NA)
: URF destroyed this game. Riot saw how successful it was and integrated aspects of it into their normal game. Less mana costs, less cooldowns (this is the only time in Leeg history where I've seen max cdr and 45% cdr, I remember when cdr was a luxury).
i said this about urf years ago, and still do to this day.. but i got downvoted to hell and burned at the stake. urf's instant gratification style is what's wrong with modern gaming in general (and to a degree humanity) these days, yet it's what every game developer is creating or eventually heading towards. there's nothing meaningful, challenging, or satisfactory to invest in and work towards anymore. everything is about maximizing damage, easy gains/wins, quick "outplays" that aren't really outplays, and above all.. fast rewards for little effort. you see it everywhere. compared to how hard games used to be, and how rewarding gameplay was. the rewards themselves were spaced just enough to keep the player much more interested in the accomplishment, but not too spaced so that it's tedious and boring. basically.. how this game used to be. how most games used to be before they headed down the "urf path" and there's been dozens of articles written about this, looking at older games like diablo 2 for instance, and why that game was a perfect example of a (healthier) addiction, as far as gaming goes.. vs diablo 3 which is the exact opposite, and why it didn't work as well as the first 2 (properly spaced, and satisfying, rewards). some even going into how it affects dopamine in the brain in an unhealthy way, vs how older games did. makes you wonder what would happen if someone made a post about comparing this season to being basically urf now, and including all these facts in it, as well as how high dmg is, how fast games go, and how much cdr there is on every item, and over cdr now. however, im sure someone already has or will, cus it's pretty disgusting how urf-like the game really has gotten.
: Can we do something about creep block
riot wants it to be bullshit and infuriating because they simply want players to suffer. god knows why this is
: The only problem with that is some of the other players won't listen. They follow you around and ping and freak out and when you tell them exactly what they need to do, they just run away because they think I'm trolling them. I think it would just be easier to have some sort of selection menu when upgrading an ally's item
then ignore those ones and move on. its their fault if they're going to be idiots about it
: singed is a brain dead champ that honestly doesn't need buffs, he is frustrating to play against and you cant do much to him with how tanky he gets
"i dont like this champ and i suck vs him, so he should remain in the gutter" as said by someone with riven in their name, oh the absolute disgusting irony.
: Having to build damage to do damage isn't a bad thing, especially in Singed's case.
you miss the point. he's in a really god awful spot right now top lane and damage is the ONLY viable thing he can do. he literally CAN'T build tank, or even 'tanky'. it has to be damage, and nothing else... and even that's still not enough to get him out of the 43rd spot of top lane champs that he's in... even karthus, neeko, rengar, yasuo, and vayne, among others, are in (dramatically) better places top lane than singed is.. and those champs can (are meant to) be played elsewhere. whereas singed can only go top.
Antenora (EUW)
: I'd rather not see singed in every game. Champ is low interaction.
why would he be seen in every game by giving him a small enough buff to make him relevant, and _still not even meta_? and let's face it, it's 90,000x better than seeing {{champion:92}} {{champion:157}} {{champion:120}} {{champion:114}} {{champion:122}} {{champion:24}} every game. but oh.. im certain that those are the champs you play, right?
: how do you gain more lp? seriously?
basically, you don't. you have to suffer because riot would rather their players fucking hate themselves and bash their own skulls in, than actually appreciate riot for intelligent gameplay sense.
: Can we please put a hard damage cap on true damage champions?
No because then it wouldn't be true dmg lelelelelelelelellelellelelelle -what i imagine riot's actual response would be

lol? this isn't even remotely incorrect, wtf? do understand how hitboxes actually work?...
: Actual proof and analysis of snowball frequency
doesn't matter because riot is catering to kids who love snowballing.. and cheeselords who love big damages and asinine amounts of dashes. those are the kinds of dipshits who buy the most skins so they can be super edgy with them while being obnoxious and spamming emotes they also bought when theyre "outplaying" you. so therefore thats what riot wants on top.

: Is Kill Stealing a Thing?
if you're playing ziggs mid, you should absolutely be going for the kills, as you are the "apc" (ap carry). likewise with something like his ult, and his artillery burst dmg.. you shouldn't be holding back, and it's not up to you to do so if your teammate who believes "you shouldn't be going for the kill", it's on them. if you're playing support bot lane however, alongside and adc - for one you'll eventually learn that in more serious matches people frown upon ziggs support.. i often play it myself, but only if im fooling around with friends in normals and never in ranked. and for two, when playing the support role seriously, if you CAN give up a kill, you should. but if its ever even remotely in question about whether the kill can be secured, you should absolutely take it to make sure they don't get away. even more so if you're playing something like a mage support/kill lane, as the kills benefit you about as much as the adc (tho i myself don't like this style of play) you have to use your own judgement, you'll eventually learn what champs can escape or when they just used flash and have no means of getting away so you can just free give the kill to your adc and funnel gold to him like you should as a support.. or times where theres a chance they might flash/dash or get help, and you need to secure the kill as quickly as possible. as i said though this is only for support, as when you're mid and you're ulting. you dont worry about a ks. now.. if you were to walk down to bot lane when bot has already pretty much assuredly gotten a kill, and just walked up and last hit auto'd an enemy that was clearly already dead, that's what "kill steal" really means, and you should pretty much never do that. especially given that toxic players will generally lose their shit over it and make your game hell a lot of the time.. best to just avoid it, but if your "ks" was justified (an ult from river to help) and they bitch about it, just take the kill and ignore them.
: How Many Games one Player should troll to get banned?
If they admit to it, it should be only one game. But the amount of players who flat out say things like "lol have fun with the loss" or "yea im just gonna run it down, gl" or "ok.. time to make us lose now cus you did X thing to me i didnt like" and then DO proceed to int/run it down/grief teammates, without ever getting punished for it, is beyond outrageous. there have been many times where players say these in a manner that makes it obvious they do it practically every game, and laugh about it.. and somehow those players are still joining matches.. riot are fucking hypocrites. they talk about enforcing everything to even shit as minor as saying "ggez" but they don't follow through with a godamn thing. and they know that griefing and legit inting is the biggest most toxic issue in the community, but refuse to do anything real about it.

: Dynamic was still one of the best ranked queues created, and its not like the NA boards are even 1/100000th the LoL population. Anywho, you can search the red posts and articles for where riot stated damage is better for solo queue where as utility is better for comp. You have a brain, im sure you can figure out the search feature. Youre the one claiming that this is somehow untrue, burden of proof is on you.

: The day you can provide a list with 50 million accounts saying they're unhappy with the game, THEN you have a majority. Even if you combine every single online forum that talks about League you get like what, 3 million people at most? The boards and reddit will always be a loud minority by a significant margin, because these kind of places really only attract people who want change.
and you can provide evidence to the contrary? until then you're only talking out of your ass at the very least the percentage on the forums who are unhappy, vs those who arent, does mildly represent the rest. lets not even mention the fact that almost every streamer in existence has voiced their opinion about this, and many pro players, some even directly to riot themselves. but keep living in your own world
Pika Fox (NA)
: No, tank meta. Wet noodles slapping each other meta. Teamfights last 30+s meta. No one dies and nothing occurs for 40 minutes one fight wins the game meta. Top lane literally does nothing for 30 minutes maybe youll see them once meta. Tank meta was the literal worst meta with the least gameplay.
except that none of that ever happened anywhere except in your own mind. you poor delusional child.
Pika Fox (NA)
: "Tank meta is widely considered to be the best meta" LOLNO. Fucking Assassin meta is more liked than tank meta. Fucking ASSASSIN meta. Also it literally doesnt matter what your opinion is. Opinions arent facts. All you 8 year olds are consistently wrong and cant balance shit.
lol gotta love kids who have no actual argument, so they just throw the exact same insults you make right back at you. you can at least come up with your own, can't you? show us you can do that much, i believe in you. you're definitely not a troll tho, we all believe you bro. especially that amazing part about assassin meta being liked by anyone fucking ever. that was brilliant.
Pika Fox (NA)
: Yes, because the people who designed the game and who have all the internal statistics of how the game works and what changes affect what group of people are clearly wrong and some scrub on the LoL forums who actuay doesnt know "jackshit" that is just saying "nuh uh, youre wrong, fuck data and statistics and science!" is correct.
do you even realize how ridiculous you sound? not to mention dead fucking wrong, that part aside because it isn't even the worst part of your statements for one tho, where is all this data and "every form and metric"? i'm sure we'd all love to see the graphs and pie charts you've made from every statistic you've collection for riot, bud. cus riot themselves has never shown us anything like it. and for two, no matter what is theorized or sounds good on paper to riot, as i and others have pointed (for literally 4 fucking years) it's already been proven not to be true. ya know, like, IN the actual game itself, where shit _actually fucking matters_ the "tank meta" just after sejuani was nerfed and before the juggernaut patch, is widely regarded as the healthiest and best state the game has ever seen. and then with the juggernaut patch, and every subsequent patch since, the game has declined to a state of incessant toxicity. you can't say that "data" disapproves this, or that it's simply wrong, when every player who isnt a raging 8 year old already knows its true and has voiced it repeatedly. but by all means, continue spewing nothing but nonsense directly out of your asshole and onto all of our monitors, just so you can _sound_ like you know a thing or two.
: Majority my ass.
lolwut oh i forgot.. you by yourself = majority, while the other millions of players who play this game aren't thanks for correcting me bud.
Nea104 (EUW)
: Exactly, it's a perfect "marker". 2 years this way, they keep sinking, and the game is still so sad.
the worst part is that they wont even make attempt at changing it.. hell they barely even acknowledge that it's an issue and it's pretty obvious that it's because they have ulterior motives (i.e. catering to kiddies and cheeselords who love big dmg, cus they buy skins)
: I'd imagine it's because he's not struggling with his defensive capabilities, and they feel like he doesn't need anymore, and such needs buffs elsewhere.
> [{quoted}](name=Academy Kayn,realm=NA,application-id=3ErqAdtq,discussion-id=w4V8o1HH,comment-id=000a,timestamp=2019-05-01T18:47:46.031+0000) > > I'd imagine it's because he's not struggling with his defensive capabilities do you even play the same game as the rest of us?...
: Eh, issue is you dont want to make that too strong or he'll clear with no health lost. Not to mention Cinderhulk got buffed not too long ago to do triple damage to monsters.
they could very easily tune it to make it not too strong.. right now his clear is relatively weak, even with cinderhulk buffs. and sappling power increase would help his laning just a (slighty) tad too.. no reason why riot can't consider something like this, when theyre already considering increasing his dmg. imo shift the power to his sappling (a small amount) and give him some _some_ laning power via early defenses/sustain. sappling dmg won't make his laning dmg overbearing anyway (cus u just dont go near the bush..), but the defenses will make him survivable enough to be a reasonable pick again. with an added bonus of actually being viable in the jg...
: Well yeah that's the thing. People play tanks like Juggernauts because they want to carry like everyone else
except for the part where no one fucking anywhere does this at all ever?.. aside from maybe players in iron, and they deserve to stay there because of it. either way this is a really god awful argument bud
: No you're choosing a tank to not die and do damage in solo q because everyone is not trustworthy and rather do their own thing
You realize you're literally saying we should move this _team based game_ more in the direction of individual and selfish playstyles rather than into healthy team play, right?
: Have you lanes against maokai when he was strong or do you not play toplane?Xd
: Maokai’s q buff is a perfect example of Riot’s horrible approach to balancing tanks
As someone who mained (OTP'd) Maokai for legitimately 3 years, and is currently working his way back to plat. I 100% completely agree with this post.
: Idk maokai has a very very uninteractive kit and does not deserve buffs until his kit is changed these buffs are just placebo****
