So if you have 3 nobles 1 random team member has the buff (including non-nobes). If you have 6, the entire team has the buff (including non-nobles).

So I had.. 2 3 star tier 2's, a bunch of 2 star tier 3 and 2's, and a 2 star tier 5... I guess the amount of remaining units would cause like less than 10 damage? I think the formula is a bit wack, it really favors hyperrolling. Oh well hopefully they adjust it or whatever...

: PROJECT: Jinx - Feedback
The problem with this skin is she doesn't look like a cyborg at all, she looks like Jinx with a VR visor.. Showing a lot of skin, and having the feather boa collar really gives the skin a very organic feel, I only see the cybernetics in one arm, but it doesn't really look that cybernetic. THe skin looks fine, it's just failing at the theme. And yes, I know Project JHIN had the Boa, but actually this was a case where, Jhin doesn't show any skin and it's supposed to give away he's a cyborg and not a robot (it breaks the color from being monotone). So where's Jinx's giveaway that she's a cyborg and not a normal human?...

: The State of Akali
She's gettting a little buff and further adjustments in the upcoming patch. I think after that, they should probably leave her alone for a while, like a very long time. They've done way too much work on Akali too fast already. Better to leave her slightly weak than having Akali players have to constantly adjust.
: people call katarina a "low elo stomper"
It's Conqueror. 9/10 times when something is overperforming it's at least partially the Conqueror rune and the ridiculous aoe non-reduced heal. {{champion:92}} , {{champion:266}} , {{champion:82}} , {{champion:55}} + {{champion:6}} , {{champion:83}} , {{champion:106}} in lower elos. formerally Akali until they dumpstered her... The rune is a problem though.
: Playing with locked or unlocked camera?
I always played with an unlocked camera because I started with Warcraft 2 and the like, and locked camera just isn't a thing in RTS aside League of Legends... Actually, somebody told me since I was having trouble with posistioning in fights I should lock the camera for fights, but it just feels so icky I've attempted to just track my posisition better by all other means, such as hitting F1.

Oh totally, I get that the community hated Tank Ekko and they probably were right to. However the reasoning that Ekko is a Mage and not a Tank - There's where the balancing starts to become inflexible, because we're talking about what roles the champions should have above their actual unique effectiveness. Riot does this, the community does this - But they introduced the class system, they said they wouldn't follow it and yet they follow it. For instance in recent times look how last year the blanket changes to adcs (but only meta adcs, not Quinn), the blanket changes to mages (but only meta mages not Karma). They think in classes now.
Scazie (EUW)
: Every change since season 4 has just homogenised champion gameplay
Yeah well remember when Riot announced the "classes" around season 5 and they said this wasn't going to affect the game, it was just to inform players of what champions did and nothing else?? But then the balance team was changed over and the new one ignored all that, they design and balance champions according to the rules of their "class" now and are rigid about it "Well Ekko is an AP assassin so he shouldn't function as a Tank" sounded nice at the time, but was a warning of things to come.
: Can Bard's heal get some love late game?
Perhaps a little %max health heal should be added that scales with his meeps or chimes or something like that..
: wut is the point of the spellvamp counter when u press c in game?
Yeah they removed spellvamp, then again there's "omnivamp" and "abilityvamp" and all these other *pseudo*spellvamps. Honestly, spellvamp is more clear.. But maybe these new stats should be represented in the stats tab instead of one that doesn't exist anymore...

That's basically what I think this item is good for, right now their solution to the damage burst is sustain and shields - they are adding sustain to champs, items and runes. But it's so one dimensional and stacked in favor of brawlers. For ADCs and Fighters (any champ who is squishy and relies on basic attacks), they just want to out damage from their opening. But attackspeed+armor is another solution to burst, you're basically going for "fight longer, not stronger" here, which may not always be the most optimal approach, but allows more situational builds, and open up new(old) playstyles.

: Why Kayle
Wish Kayle had been given range by default, less hyperscaling and just been an ADC, it would had made more sense.. As is we got like this pocket ADC played top who is cacoon in the early game but even when she becomes a butterfly - might not be as spectacular as expected due to not being able to afford enough items. I have heard Maple or somebody wants to increase her early game power and decrease lategame down the line. If so, great!.

In Dota for instance; a dodge counts as a full loss (last i checked, maybe they changed it). A dodge in DotA2 is free in the same way it is in League. It shows up in the match history, but it does not reduce your MMR and it comes with a 5 minute wait for the first dodge, and a 10 minute wait for every dodge after. Dodging is vital in both LoL and DotA2 because of how many trolls and toxic people there are. If you can selectively choose not to play a game w/ the 32% winrate Bronze AD and the 15% winrate Bronze Mid, that's just one way you remove RNG from the matchmaking. Ah, so last I was playing dota 2 you could dodge in the "waiting for players" screen but not in draft. It's nice to hear you can dodge in draft now (dota loads the other way around). But anyway, I'm just pointing out dodging is really strong and the reasons there has to be penalties for using it, else it would be overused. It's useful and it's nice to have but it's also *too useful* and people want to actually just get in a game sometimes.
: What is the point of increasing the dodge penalty?
Dodge penalties increase to decrease abuse, in the higher levels where people have excellent knowledge of matchups and teamcomps dodges are utilized frequently. There's a few players from last season for instance who used dodges to get near 100% winrates for the entire season. So while yeah, you can just dodge twice then switch to another account, you're still prevented from climbing too fast on the account you dodged from. Most people are discouraged by the 30 minute penalty, decreasing the amount of dodges. Anyway, dodging is overpowered and it's a wonder we have it at all. : For those freaking about the Swain buff shown from the video, there is something your missing.
Watched about 3 gameplay videos, and it seems like Swain tends to end up with about 15 stacks early game, 45 mid, 100 late; in a good game (like pbe youtubers would post a game that went badly...). So like 75/225/500 bonus hp; about equal to the health you'd get for a tier of item at that game stage. Seems pretty fair.

: Okay Nerf or Rework Tryndamere, it's not funny anymore.
Every game with a Tryndamere is a 4+1 v 5 though. Yeah he dominates lane and he splitpushes like a monster but then again he literally can't do anything else. THen again maybe that's cause for a rework... but don't expect it anytime soon.

Weak early game, average late game, crippling mana costs, no meaningful CC, super conditional damage. How about be honest with yourself Naw, he can do huge armor shredding damage AOE damage which has autoattack properties like crit with his barrels, he can waveclear amazing, he makes tons of gold, he has a self-clease which is super strong, great harass with Q, the global ultimate with awesome teamfight damage potential, he's great it's just TC is making it sound like he has no weaknesses so i was focusing on his weaknesses.
: gangplank is just like any other toxic top laner.
Since runes reforged his mana on Q went up 20 on level 1. So all that extra mana he gets is offset, his mana is actually worse early. Giving his E a mana cost would be ridiculous, that ability has to be cast near constantly... Considering he has to Q constantly which does cost mana, and he has two other spells... just no. Gangplank does lots of damage but it's all conditional like, he needs to melee hit you with his passive, he needs to hit barrels. His ultmate has a long cooldown, he has no mobility aside a speedup... he has no cc aside a few slows. All he is, is a half-adc half-fighter with a barrel mini-game. And yeah lategame he has big critical strikes (if he builds crit)which makes people think he's some lategame monster. He isn't, he's completely average lategame for a top laner. He has some nice matchups but he loses to a lot of teamcomps. He's been nerfed a lot the last 3 years and his pick rate is a fraction, his win % is lower. Every time he's an issue Riot hasn't been too slow to nerf him.
: Putting it on an item would be a bad idea, it would just become a tax to defeating certain champions. If shields are so powerful that we need to BREAK them instantly, then an item isn't the way to do it, we need champs who are guaranteed to do it, and more than just 2 or 3. I would love seeing this on Rek'sai, to give her some reason to be picked in norms. Maybe Veigar's ultimate could destroy shields before it does damage? Lower Kog'maw's % health per second and give him bonus damage to shields on his W?

Maybe Veigar's ultimate could destroy shields before it does damage? Lower Kog'maw's % health per second and give him bonus damage to shields on his W? I like say, putting on Rek'Sai's ultimate? That ult aside when they made it totally broken is just "dash and do damage", adding something to it wouldn't hurt.
DeltaDan (EUW)
: Riot, What the f*ck
I think a shield breaking ability is needed, but yeah not on a really strong laner like Renekton who has many strengths (dash, shred, stuns, burst damage, sustain). And not on a low cooldown ability. Something like this should be on a higher cooldown ability on a champion who doesn't have a ton of strengths.. I think it fits Trundle because he's supposed to be like an anti-tank - it would make sense on say his ultimate. Cho'Gath could also make sense since he's like an anti-caster, maybe on W (feral scream), if the min cooldown was increased a few seconds. I don't get why Renekton, one of the biggest lane bullies in the game already... Although I like the philosophy behind shield-breaks and grevious wounds being on abilities, they shouldn't be used to overload somebody.
: Buffs to Renekton against Camille and Riven with the shield busting component so I think he officially has no counters now.
> [{quoted}](name=Starving Artist,realm=NA,application-id=3ErqAdtq,discussion-id=KMEBQgVE,comment-id=00090002,timestamp=2019-07-02T13:41:10.117+0000) > > Buffs to Renekton against Camille and Riven with the shield busting component so I think he officially has no counters now. I don't think those champs ever countered Renekton, but he'll counter them now... Then again, I kinda see the point that Renekton is already a strong laner due to having a stun and sustain - why does he need a shield breaker? Perhaps Riot should consider what champions lack strengths when implementing changes like this. Is there some laners with not enough to offer who could have a shield destroyer? Like say Trundle or Maoki?.. I'm not sure who should get something like that, but yeah maybe Renekton won't be a wise choice.

: renekton w changes are in line with riot's new philsophy basically they used a lot of words to say that they want counterpicks to be a thing in league which is why you see leona having flat damage reduction, or poppy countering mobile champions even more, or ahri having her charm stopping dashes again, or kled having healing reduction on Q

Just think the execution may be a bit hard to understand at first and looks more like "hidden numbers" just loaded onto existing abilities.

: Where's Qiyanna?
She's out but I've played 2 games and nobody picked or banned her. It's like people don't even know she's there. Least celebrated champ release ever? No startup screen, launches 3 days in, overshadowed by a game mode and an event.
: Damage Text Color Change
I don't really care about the colours and figure I'll get used to them, tho I find that there's this weird hovering on the numbers, and the crits are now MASSIVE... like the way they animate is weird? I especially notice this on crits, like playing Tristina with a Shiv I just see all these massive blue numbers float up and stay on the screen for a second. Looks bad.
: How to deal with anxiety?
Speaking from experience; the way to deal with it is get through it, don't avoid anything. Don't mute all, queue anyway, queue ranked. Anxiety becomes a disorder when you avoid something for it, so you must always always try not to avoid something due to anxiety.
: Riot, these lootboxes aren't making you look any better.
Unless you want a specific one, you can just buy one egg be happy with it and call it a day. I mean, it's totally scummy Riot makes them lootboxes and doesn't just sell them. But at the same time; it's up to everybody to not be an idiot and think they need a specific little avatar thingie... But you know, Riot makes mad cash off of whaling.
: Fuck Jungle
They've made the jungle so hard to clear, combined with so little farm and levels. It's really hard to do a full clear if you don't jungle frequently - and if I'm counterjungled by somebody who knows what they're doing I'm starved or dead... The only way I've found to play jungle in fills is do halfassed ganks and then soak xp and even steal some minions when possible. I look for empty lanes and steal minions regardless of wave management.
: Is it me, or does a single bad week for ranked just completely fuck your MMR for the season?
I had a bad week last week and my mmr stayed the same, that is to say the lp gain and loss stayed the same. No idea how MMR works really.
: Rioter responsible for Illaoi changes on PBE should get a rise
Does the passive do magic damage with the AP scaling? That would be great, Illaoi is really limited by physical damage, I find her really hard to play against tanks, she can't dent them for the most part, as well as CC easily interupting her W. But I think the rework otherwise looks great.
: If you are below honor 3 you can't create a PBE account right? But if you get suspended...
Although you can create the account with honor 3, the account stays even if you drop honor, are suspended, or banned. It's a seperate account.
: So if ezreal keeps abusing items, why do people keep wanting the items nerfed instead of ezreal
Because Ezreal Q being a spell and an attack in one is inseperable from Ezreal; As long as Manamune, Klepto and Sheen work the way they do Ezreal will be strong with these thing... They already nerfed Ezreal multiple times.
: "But My Build Doesn't Include QSS"
Wouldn't it be cool if the Bashee shield was an active? It'd be kinda too useful but then again I feel like the game needs it.
: Oh boy, people are still talking about Nubrac? Did no one see the Riot response?
Most people are mad about the wrong thing, and riot is responding to the wrong thing... The real question is, wtf is with NB3 having a personal hotline to Riot to get this individual suspended? I don't really give a crap about nb3 or nubrac, it's Riot breaking protocol here that is the concern...

: Why is Lux Being Used Now
The way I understand it, Lux has always been good, but she wasn't safe. (she's immobile and squishy). However since her buffs on her shield, with her Q having a static cooldown - she can shield max or shield max second - also using the resolve tree with aftershock - making her a safe pick in pro play.
: Just had a 4 man surrender at 20 minutes, over a 1 kill lead on the enemy team.
You need to tank your mmr to bronze, then your team won't surrender even if you're down 50 kills with no turrets no objectives and they have better lategame. They won't surrender if they just pad their kdas on you for 60 minutes.... Sorry, I'd rather be in your world, lol.
: What is Urgot's weakness
I hate his new W, with conq he just locks on and he does 1000 damage in a second while draintanking thanks to conq. Just ban him every game, best counter ever.

The hotfix seems like it hit. Morde is scary but I don't think he's any scarier than say Illaoi or Darius etc.
Rioter Comments
: X champion doesn't belong in Y lane
Any champion being in any lane should never be considered a problem by riot. It can be considered a problem by players, but they'd be wrong. When Riot does it, it's more than wrong; it's actively sabotaging their game by trying to enforce a balance model that only applies if players follow it.
: Tahm kench
Tahm needs a total rework at this point, I'm not talking about a partial/mini rework because they already did that twice and managed to screw him up more each time. His balance state has been bad since day 1, and has only got worse. Somewhere along the lines of Xin Zhao where they take the idea of what he's supposed to do and a few of the ability effects but remake all the spells. I liked playing Tahm support and jungle back when he was released and he's a fun champ and all but got to admit this design isn't doing good things for league.
: Hashinshin: MR items are weak, Armor items are too strong
Armor should be stronger than magic resist... Autoattacks are plentiful, targetted and free, (most) spells have cooldown, mana, and are skill shots... also there's a lot more spells and champions who scale with AD than there is AP.
: Teemo Rework: Swift Scout is neither Swift nor a Scout.
Hopefully we've seen the last of that "rework", it was crap. Teemo doesn't need any rework, we don't need to see him in pro play.
Kayote (NA)
: Morde rework from a Morde Main
I love this rework, I think it hits 2 key points of making Morde more like his old self with incredible late game damage, while at the same time hitting more on the mark than the Juggernaut update did on making him an actual juggernaut. The visuals are audio are incredible. I do agree his passive is really strong while his W is kinda weak, kinda wish they've swap their power a bit. But mostly I just hope his balancing lands and he doesn't maintian this absurd ban rate. The hotfix hit him pretty hard.
