: Losing LP when having an afk in your team
I feel like a person on the losing team with an afk should lose less lp than normal and the afk should lose significantly more. For instance if everyone would lose 20 lp, everyone but the afk could lose like 12 and the afk person could lose 40. Or something similar to that. Tactical leaves would be a major problem if you lost 0 lp, but if it was at least less damaging than normal and a significant loss for the afk person that would help there be less afks and people would be less discouraged by losing due to an afk. Thoughts?

basically just using dead time to set up your next buys.
: I don't understand how you got confused there, he laid it out very clearly in my opinion, but let me help. Build maps don't work in this case because you want to be altering that build depending on the game. What he suggests is smart - let the player make up a build order of his own, on the fly, in game. Here's an example of how that works: I just died, 30 sec death timer. I know I want to build a sheen then maybe a health item, then finish up my Trinity. Once that Trinity is done, probably finish my health item. I can use that time to set up my build queue, so that I have the order displayed in the Shop, saving me a lot of time. In the current system, I gotta buy my Sheen, then wait for my next back, then look at health items, purchase that, then again on my next back go to Trinity. A lot of clicking around that could be solved with a simple queue. Does that make more sense now?

: GG ez at the end of a 55 minute game feels like shit.
My favorite is when somebody says ez well before the game is over and then coming back and winning. As the comeback is happening I like to all charge things like "what were those 2 letters again?" "What was ez about this?" Or my personal favourite "?" Its great because it derails them so bad and you're not really harassing or being mean.
: Riot, this RIGHT here is whats changed about you for the worst
I mean the game wasn't perfect then, and its not perfect now. I still enjoy it. Especially as a support main I enjoy some of recent changes because I feel like I can make a bigger difference. I think they are trying and I do think they listen. One thing people have to remember is that they are trying to listen to a global audience not just an angry minority in na. If every business made every change on every complaint submission the world would be too chaotic to keep up with. Just my 2 cents.

They do it because it's bullshit how champions that players like have to land consecutive autoattack/ability combos perfectly to deal the same damage as a point and click "fuck you" button ability. Ontop of it all, malphite is a tank that automatically screws over melee champions and can compete with ranged ones like its nothing. It's not their fault they like champions that require skill to do well in lane with, nor is it their fault that after they lane they are worse overall in teamfighting agency. : Smurfs are only the issue if you're only occasionally running into them. If you were to be dropped down in Diamond ranks or even Challenger ranks, you'll learn the game and become a better player exponentially faster than you would working your way up from Silver to Diamond or Challenger. It's a proven fact in psychology that your growth is in part determined by your environment. If I were to stick you into a house of monkeys (no, not bronze and silver players, actual monkeys) and cut off your interaction with the outside world you'd end up more like the monkeys than the monkeys like you. The only TRUE way to help people improve in this game is to make Normals completely random with matchmaking so you're exposed to talented players more often. This also holds true in Ranked play where the only true competitive environment we'll ever see is to hard-reset the MMR each and every season. You'll quickly see people in Bronze that normally go 0-15 with AP Tryndamere start playing like Platinum and Diamond players by the end of the season (depending on how often they actually play, that casual dude won't benefit as much as the hardcore 1600games a season guy).

Not gonna lie, the game has issues for sure but it is still a fun game and I think they're really trying. I can't imagine trying to balance all the champions, and pros down to noobs. Not saying they're perfect but I think they're really trying and I still find it really fun.

Flex picks are great blind picks because your opponents don't know where they're going, or in some cases think they know where you're going but have in fact no idea. If it makes a difference I'm in silver. Top: {{champion:122}} is a reliable toplaner with a lot of sustain and an easy playstyle. It's hard for most melee tops to win against Darius, just watch out for random Kennens. {{champion:105}} Fizz is a meta top, if I'm not mistaken. Get a decent guide and you should be fine. Mid: {{champion:63}} Brand clears waves easily and can win a lvl 6 fight with his opponent if you time your ult well. Generally doesn't have that many bad matchups to get blind-picked into. {{champion:103}} Probably THE safest midlaner currently. So long as you have a decent grasp of skillshots, you're golden. {{champion:69}} A little less safe than Brand, but snowballs really hard with a Tear and Rylai's. No joke, you can easily win 1v2s mid without any items except your starting stuff, even at 0/0/0. Cass is one of my personal favorites for the midlane. Support: {{champion:16}} Welcome to the easiest champ in the entire game to play. Build path: Ancient Coin + 3 Pots > Sightstone + Nomad's Medallion > Ardent Censer > Redemption > Mikael's Crucible. Just prepare to see 5 Executioner's Edges on the enemy team. {{champion:267}} Not only is she meta, but she has CC, healing, crazy damage, slows, movespeed buffs, an ult that practically solos teamfights, she is literally the perfect support. If you're not a support player, just do the Soraka build path since you'll want to be more of a healer than a DPS. (Don't worry, you still hit really hard!) {{champion:117}} There's never a bad time to pick Lulu. The only bad time to pick Lulu is if someone else has already locked in Lulu, which means you can't pick her. {{champion:40}} Janna has to be among the top 10 easiest champions to play, but she's no worse for it. Pick her if you want a generalist support that lacks damage, but will make sure the enemy team lacks damage. And by that, I mean they'll be so dead from your shield-boosted ADC that they can't retaliate.
: Leona has always been a hard Sona counter, even when Sona used to be a playable character pre-patch 4.13. As a matter-of-fact, Sona is the shortest-range, least damage-threatening "support" in the game atm. Her Q at 700 range puts her in danger of most champions, especially Leona's E at 875 range. Actually, Sona's Q only prioritizes champions over minions when she's within 550 range of them, so at that distance she's vulnerable to counter-harass or engage by literally every ADC and support in the game. As for Sona's "poke," she factually has the worst damage numbers of any support in the game. She only has ONE damage spell(a rarity of supports) and at 40 damage, it has a lower base than any other support in the game. Her base AD is one of the worst and her full "burst" combo is truthfully outraded by 2 basic attacks from any ADC, except maybe MF. Leona is a tank, but Sona's damage is ignorable even for a squishy; if you have **ANY **mr runes, Sona is an afterthought at every point during a game.

: Top lane: Galio, Sion, pretty much any tank that will still be useful without having perfect farm/ a bad KDA Mid Lane: Pretty much any control mage Support: Janna, Nami, Thresh, pretty much any enchanter/support with a long range. NEVER blindpick champions like Leona unless you are a rank 7 one-trick (skill trumps counterpicks in a decent amount of situations). You could counterpick a Sona with Leona because Leona dicks Sona lanes so hard the Sonas might as well be free gold sacks floating through the air for the ADC
That would be a nice pocket pick for sona, why do you think she wins so hard? Wouldn't sona's range and poke hurt Leona?
