: Another loss by TSM and they are OUT!
Actually, the only guarantee of TSM being out, is if they drop the final two games. You still have tiebreaker scenarios to deal with, depending on how the matches turn out as well. I still see a day loaded with chaos. TSM even still has a chance for the #1 seed out of groups.

Sounds like someone is slow on the update process, or has selective memory when it comes to history. 1. TSM made it out of group stage a couple years ago. Even took a game off Samsung White(eventual winners of that year's world championship). 2. CLG peaked at MSI, and during the tournament, TSM and C9 were working hard to breed super-soldiers for summer and World's. CLG couldn't adapt to the new meta(even though Aphromoo was a big ingredient for the new meta), and lost their way into World's(with lots of help from LiftLift carrying his old team). 3. Again, TSM took a game off Samsung White a couple years ago, in the quarterfinals. Also, Dyrus retired after TSM exited World's. Hauntzer succeeded him in the offseason, and has been their toplane for all of 2016. But hey, at least you tried. Have a golden banana sticker. {{sticker:slayer-pantheon-thumbs}}

He was fun to watch as midlane Hecarim, but that was back when you could rush boots with the homeguards enchant and field teleport for a really good combo. Ever since they removed the enchant, he lost a lot of power to do midlane as well. :(

LiftLift carrying two teams to Worlds. In all seriousness though, we'll see if CLG can get their shit together and do well at Worlds.
: Everyone talks shitt in the NA LCS I can't speak for EU cause for the most part I don't watch EU but in NA it's a brotherhood and most of the players are friends and they all talk smack once and a while. Dyrus trash talked CLG back in 2013 in the famous Sjokz interview. Regi and Hotshot trash talked way back in 2011-2012. Aphromoo trashed talked D-Lift last split Long story short they know each other and know that it's all friendly banter.

Korean players are far more aggressive with their banter than NA or EU. A bunch of the Chinese players as well. LiftLift's shot at CLG was appropriately timed, and true. I had no problems with his word selection at all. Maybe CLG will pull their fingers out of their collective asses and overhaul what's plaguing them.

Momentum going into the world championship tournament. It's a huge morale boost. You also don't have to worry about facing another #1 seed in the group stage, whether it's EDG, ROX Tigers, or the LMS #1 seed.

: EU LCS and NA LCS Semi-Finals Today
Darshan peaked during the Spring Split and MSI. Hauntzer's been a monster imposing his will more often than not all split, since while MSI was going on, everyone on TSM has become a super soldier with the Korean boot camp. I see TSM running the train on CLG, then moving on to the finals, to be handed the crown and 1st seed. Huhi can't hold up to Bjergsen, LiftLift will take Stixxay's lunch money, Biofrost is overtaking old man Aphromoo as #1 support. I think Svenskeren has progressed extremely far from before, and Hauntzer right now is the toplane's version of "Final Boss." I see a 3-0 or 3-1 victory in TSM's favor against CLG, and 3 victories against C9, though I can't predict how many losses TSM will eat to take the finals. While I know that Jensen is extremely skilled, in the event that C9 faces TSM, he's going to get bodied. Bjergsen is still king in NA.

In all likelihood, in the event that TSM passes CLG(which the team is poised to do), C9 will be there to witness TSM take the NA LCS trophy firsthand. In which case, TSM takes the 1st seed, CLG takes the second based on points, and then the regional will be C9, TL, IMT, and NV. I see the 3 teams going will be TSM as 1st seed, CLG as 2nd seed, and a toss up between C9 and IMT as the 3rd seed.
: My predictions for the C9/IMT and TSM/CLG series
I think the finals will be IMT vs TSM. Though TSM has a monopoly on real estate in IMT's head, and it could possibly be the %%%%% in IMT's armor during the semifinal match between IMT and C9. I also think that Darshan peaked at MSI, same with Aphromoo, whereas TSM has been devastating in every match series except the one against P1. Biofrost has been making his case for ripping the crown out of Aphromoo's grasp for NA's best support all split. I see it as IMT 3-2 vs C9, and TSM 3-0 or 3-1 vs CLG. I believe that while TSM was on postseason break, that most likely they were hammering out the practice hard and improving further, just like the Korean bootcamp while MSI was going on. You also have TSM reaching every split finals going for them.
: Pentakills in ProPlay
Meaning that all the odds aligned in favor of him being a janitor and cleaning up. No, him getting the pentakill doesn't mean stomping. The probability of getting a pentakill is extremely low. The closest I've seen a pro coming into multiple pentakills in one game, would be TSM vs TL last year, when Wildturtle racked up a pentakill in a base defense, and followed that on the next base defense with a quadra. A pentakill doesn't guarantee you a win, as the Wildturtle penta/quadra chain was in a losing effort. It doesn't matter on the champion used for the pentakill(one of the regions had a Teemo pentakill), as any champion can be used, if you're lucky enough and you build the champion right. Hell, I've gotten one with a full AP Sejuani before. Pentakills don't mean that there's a stomp in the game, nor is it a disrespectful or embarrassing moment. What's disrespectful or embarrassing, is if a key player tilts on more then a few occasions, or he/she tilts because of something that's preventable. Huni's been known to do both.

Look over what disadvantages she brings to her team, especially in this meta, in the pro scene. They outweigh any good that she has if she's picked. I get it. You fantasize about Quinn, most likely have a headcanon in your mind about how you and Valor are giving her the Eiffel Tower treatment(or possibly a gonzo gangbang involving all of Demacia's males on her), and view her as your waifu, but it's time for you to face the music, and ratchet back on your obsession with the champion some. Her time is done and gone. And as answered in the past regarding Huni and the reasons why he's not picking Quinn this split(that you've ignored), the same applies to Smeb. Teams want to win, so they pick champions like Gnar, Irellia, Maokai, Shen, Ryze, among others. Even Illaoi is more impactful currently than Quinn.

: Even when the best team in the league plays against the worst team in the league.
You must be new to watching games between pro leagues, or you only watch LCS matches. For example, LGD plays champions that they want to play, laneswap how/when they want to(they don't play the traditional EU laneswap style like other teams do). Also, the laneswap is a perfectly viable strategy, with many variants to it. 10-20 minutes of standard laning and farming is far more boring to me.

LPL's LGD vs I May earlier today was really bad. 11k lead, and Punished throws it all away with one shitty teleport choice so deep behind I May's lines. TL seems...to have gotten better ever since they dumped Piglet from the starting lineup(I do miss IWD though). There's always a chance to beat TSM in a series. It happens on international stage, or in the finals of a regional split(since TSM is the only NA LCS team to reach the finals each split). But currently, TSM's been blowing out the candles of opposing teams in heavy fashion. The scary thing is, I think TSM is still sandbagging against every team. How many games did LiftLift play Lucian, or Hauntzer play Irellia/Swain? Almost like they're daring teams to ban the champions, or beat them when playing the champions. Which means they've got strategies or lineups that they're hiding very well.

Not everyone on the forums shares the same tastes in team, or carries themselves the same way. That's the beauty of the internet and exchange of ideas/opinions. If you can't handle the scrappy back and forth between fans of various teams(which itself builds a fueling rivalry experience), might be time for you to pack up and head to a "safe space."

: Snake?! What?! China's 3rd seed is most likely going to be WE. There's also the chance that IG just goes off in the playoffs and earns the third seed out of nowhere. But I would put 5 teams as having a better chance to go to Worlds over Snake (aside from RNG and EDG). From NA, the third seed should've been CLG, but... Well if they can't pull it together, I can imagine C9 pulling run to qualify for worlds. They're just too clutch as an organization. TL won't make it. And NV probably won't. So it's down to CLG and C9. It's most likely going to be C9, because as we all know, CLG only does well to get our hopes up then shatter them. Though by that logic, they should be able to qualify for worlds only to lose to in groups. For EU... I guess Fnatic will get 2nd seed and H2k 3rd seed? But that's a risky spot for H2k. I don't really like H2k in playoffs. So there's a chance an upset could happen for 3rd seed. Origen strikes back? Maybe a C9-esque run through the gauntlet. For Korea, SKT, ROX, and KT are the expected ones... But Samsung might pull an upset for the 3rd seed... And I know that ROX and KT could easily drop the ball on that one (KT more than ROX). And for SEA... I guess FW and AHQ? J Team could make it too. It's TPA rebranded. In the end, I hope every team gets plenty of time to understand the meta and bring out their full potential. No more new patch right before the tournament starts crap. Either way SKT is gonna win. Then next year maybe, just maybe, Samsung White will be reborn (EDG will drop Pawn because of injuries, DanDy will want to have an actual team or mlxg fully matures as a player, and Imp gets tired of Pyl's shit or Uzi becomes so perfect with Mata that they don't need Imp either). Or RNG gets a kick in the pants like Ozone did in 2013 and evolves to next level heights for 2017 so SKT will actually have a legitimate rival again.

Right now, Pyl's the main reason why LGD hasn't fallen apart, and is starting to reforge, ever since he came back from his leave of absence. He's the one holding the doggie whistle for the team. LGD's past 4 series, they've gone 3-1, after starting 0-4.
: I still support CLG
They're going to need a few Chinook helicopters to lift them out of the ground after TSM demolishes CLG tomorrow. I'm looking forward to seeing TSM hitting the dog whistle and running over CLG.
: Why hasn't Teemo been nerfed, serious question
He has received nerfs in the past. Crippling ones even. Stop going on tilt, and learn how to play the little guy, and see what weaknesses he has, rather than crying for nerfs because you got molested in a game.
: Hi i'd like to request a permanent account ban
Or you can always uninstall the game, and move onto something else, rather than having someone wipe your ass for you.
: I am sure lane swaps are viable, even for silver games. But I have simply not had even one lane swap game this season.

But I have simply not had even one lane swap game this season. How often have you suggested it to your team? Have you formed a premade(even with buddies) and put laneswaps into action yet?
: CLG Game Question
Still got a hardon for Huni's Quinn, I see. It's time to let the past go. How much of the game did you study? Did you see if Huni took any jungle camps, or scuttlecrab? Lane freezes? Did he wander off to clean up big waves every time one popped up? Watch the VOD again, and focus on the minimap to see where the shitbird icon goes, and how long it stays in various locations.

: How long will the summer split finals be?
Depends on who's playing, how long the games each go for, and if it goes all the way to 5 games. Who knows? We may get "The Dream" in a game or few, where it lasts longer than 80 minutes. {{sticker:slayer-pantheon-thumbs}}
: Lane Swaps
Lane swaps, as Montecristo said a while back, are a perfectly viable strategy. There are even various styles to the laneswap, whether it's the European style, or LGD's own brand on the laneswap. They help accelerate out of the early game/lane phase by gaining the extra gold quicker, and open up the map. Are you sure that much of the player base in S. Korea, China, and Taiwan aren't doing laneswaps?
: If you were on a LCS team, what would your summoner name be?
Xantak. I see no reason to change my username.
: 1v1 fight
In terms of playstyle/strategy, Darshan's Fiora has the upper hand in a win over Huni's Quinn. Turrets/Nexus > Kills. Then again, Quinn is a shitty pick to pull out with all the bruiser/caster toplane stuff going on, unless you want to hand the other team a win. Also, everyone knows that Reignover would be holding Huni's hand. You also have to look at how easily Huni can tilt. You have to look at all the factors to a question such as this, past your erection for Huni's Quinn, or Quinn in general.
: If TSM, IMT, EnV, C9, TL, or CLG represent NA at worlds this year, guaranteed at least 1 of them, probably 2 of them, will go to semifinals, and a 50/50 chance at making it to the Quarterfinals. I can only really say that about 4 other EU teams (Fnatic, G2, H2K, Schalke04), except only 1 of the teams making it to the semifinals, if lucky. In the future, you may be correct, but right now, NA has been training in a Bo3 setting for 2 splits, exactly what China and Korea have been doing. Eu will be on the backfoot b/c of the Bo2 format. That alone will definitely sway NA into better standings than usual. That and, lets face it, what are the odds to go 0-10 as a region again? I still perfer 0-10 to G2-8. At least we lost entirely rather than a team not trying at all and only taking wins off of the weakest region.

Quarterfinals are the matches just out of the group stage, whereas the semifinals are the matches just before the grand final. With the way that TSM, IMT, and C9 are playing currently, I see those three teams most likely making it to the World Championship tournament, and depending on the matchups in the bracket stages(let's say that RNG meets SKT-T1 before the finals), NA might have an even higher chance of going to either the semifinals or even the grand final. We already know that NA, the LMS, the LPL, and the LCK will each be fielding a Group A seed.
: to all people watching lcs
I split my attentions between TSM and LGD. LGD mainly because they love to fight. They believe in the mentality of either win fast, or lose fast, rather than "Death By 1000 Papercuts," and TSM seems to have adopted this mentality to some extent, as the previous splits, they would die slowly, like that pet parrot or turtle outliving your family members. Until a team bans or burns a first pick on LiftLift's Lucian, he's going to mushroom stamp them over and over. He's making it work, and putting the fleshy beanbag all over everyone's back for the time being.
