: Life is Strange 2 is coming
Kill it with fire. That, and it's shitty genre that forces out shitty games by the truckload.
: Sona was nerfed for being too much of a bully in lane as a support, while also being able to heal herself and allies. Last I checked, Xerath wasn't exactly setting records for healing done in a match.

They why not tone back that heal? Oh right, it ate up a huge chunk of mana and made it next to impossible to use as an actual sustain method unless you're severely ahead. But they still toned it back. So the cost/effect doesn't match up to shit. Shield is still nice though. If we're talking about bullies, why hasn't Morg been gutted into oblivion? Her Q hitbox is so out of the actual zone that it curves to hit at times! Or why haven't they toned down Leona's perma stun? Once she lands her snare, its GG to whoever got snared. What about Ali's insane knockup and immense tankyness! He can eat turret hits at 6 depending on build. But no. Sona. Someone who has to get into range of all these abilities, among others, to hit her Q, was nerfed. What.
: Nerf Sona, Leave Xerath alone?
You'd think that annoyance would be more recognized. But I forgot this was GD, lair of the inept.

: Passive: Targets gain additional healing based on their missing HP. Target gains additional mana based on their missing mana. Q : Throws a star, if it lands then the target is slowed for 20% and restores mana for Soraka. W : Heals an ally for a large amount and grants them Armor for a short time. ~10 second cooldown. E : - On ally: Restores a moderate amount of mana. - On enemy: Silences for 1 second. Costs 5% of Soraka's mana and will add that to damage or mana restore. R : Heals all allies on the map including yourself, and removes Grievous Wounds first. There. A mix between old Soraka and new Soraka. Less healing but the return of mana transfusions :)

Less healing but the return of mana transfusions :) You don't want to have a way for Raka to restore her own mana. That's what caused a lot of issues back during the Mana Trans era. What cost? Giving away free health can be too much. That's why the current Raka has to use her own to heal others. She has an AoE Silence currently. What makes single target better than AoE? Wouldn't mind a cure to GW, but I think it'd make her a bit to strong to be able to cure it.

Im trying to get to a point where I can start running numbers. Where it isn't just me giving my ideas and theories, but you and everyone else giving theirs. But it's you and most of GD that's doing everything it can to halt these discussions. And yeah, no shit it's conjecture. Most theories are. But that's why I want to have these discussions. So others can input their theories and it starts up more discussions and less "NERF FIZZ CAUSE REASONS". I don't want just that. I want to discuss why Fizz needs to be nerfed, what in his kit makes him so overwhelming, and what can be done to fix it, without screwing it up. No we aren't, for the most part, game designers. But we are players of the game, and we should at least try to do what we can to assist in the development of the game.

Kick that passive in the nuts. By doing what, tweaking what numbers, and compensating for what in general? Her damage is actually rather meph without her passive so nerf that too heavily, and she is useless. > Anivia- hit level 2 and win. Tone down for what. Really now, if that was the case, why is she not played every game, and once again, by doing what? You can't just say tone down, tone to what degree, what skill, why, how will you compensate her for being an utterly mobile mage? > Syndra- Land a stun with that insane hitbox, proceed to combo down tons of damage. Reduce'd ratios? Reduced hit box? I perfer the smaller hit box, and slower projectile speed honestly. So then you have the non mobile mage have even less means of protecting herself while also doing less damage then a standard APC, why would you pick her over Orianna or Annie, or every other mage now? > Akali- Catch me if you can. Remove the fucking Reset. That was LITERALLY her only problem from the get go. Not her passive, not her Ratios, nothing else. Give her one mark, every what, 8 seconds sound good? Or so? We'd have to playtest a bit to find an area where getting into a fight, doing damage, but still having to consider a space where it doesn't completely remove her ability to reach her target. So then she would go into a fight, and die, or have to sit in the back line doing nothing while waiting for her allies to do all the work and provide nothing to the team. Take away her reset, and there is zero reason to play her over Diana, as it currently stands, there is little reason to play her over Diana, especially with how subpar her pre six is. > Amumu- Get away from me if you can. This is more of an Item change and less of an ability change. If they made it so Rylas could only proc 1 second after the effect wears off, champions like Amumu wouldn't have total control over an opponent the second it touches the AoE. Amumu isn't busted because of items, he is busted because of the amount of CC he can output on top of his ultimate which is going to put him in a safe spot no matter how many nerfs he gets. His damage isn't really the problem and is actually lower then a lot of other tank champions right now. > Lucien- Double hits are always going to be bullshit. Especially if the second shot procs. I'm flipping between increase the ability count to proc the Double Shot from 1 - 2, or making it proc after every x amount of attacks. Crit strikes reduce it by x amount. Again, finding a stable space where it isn't so damned overwhelming would require actual playtesting. And then the players are once again whining about his stagnant ADCs are and why they should play her over MF? > LeBlanc- "Oh shit it's..." You have been Slain. Gut her to shreds. Fuck LeBlanc. Stupid bitch. But seriously, I feel like the problem with this is the huge base damage on her W, if she wasn't able to be sent back to her original position, it'd be fine, but that'd cause her to be major risk high reward. Which would cause a lot of problems with LB mains, and reducing the base damage on her W would kick her Waveclear into the gutter, on top of her main damaging skill being removed. So let me get this straight, you are saying that they shouldn't gut champions in earlier post, but saying that they should here? How is making a champion not viable balance? Have you ever considered why she needs to be able to dash back. She has zero tankiness or health in her kit, if she didn't have that ability to jump back, she would literally be the worst champion in the game, and with how shit her farming ability is, the only way she can maintain levels with her opponent is by having her high killing ability. > Zyra- Ratios.. What the hell are you thinking RIot. Just reduce the ratios a bit. Nothing much here. Projectile speed is fine, base's are generally fine, duration of cc is fine, range is fine, maybe a small tweak to her range wouldn't hurt much. So make a once again non mobile mage, a non mobile skillshot based mage at that, do no damage. So change her from a high risk/high reward champion, because that is what she is, if you jump on her with anyone like Ekko, Zed, Gangplank, any assassin, bruiser, fighter, juggernaut, unless she is fed, she is going to flash or die, and you want to nerf her damage? > Sona- Free kill. She needs to have more presence in the game. Removing the Q nerf is a good start, and reworking her ult to be less.. bland? Make it a circle AoE that enhances abilities of friendly targets in the area, while reducing the abilities of enemies? It'd fit better within her Aura based kit, and bring her back to the state she use to be. You do realize that the Q was one of the things that made her back in the day "a low risk, high reward champion", you would be outdamaging the ADC with your Q and move back so far away few champions could properly retaliate. As for changing her ultimate, and make her a subpar Taric then, once again, would cause more whining because how how similar champions are. > Viktor- He's so strong early on, but falls off really fast, around level 12 or so. With next to no escapes, and a funky E skill, he's kind of a pain to learn even more so to master. Fixing his E so that it works smoother would be a nice start, while making his W stack increase if the target is damage within the confides would make him even more stronger. But would that be too strong? So you are fine with Vitkor having a power spike and being strong early, but not Anivia? > Eve- I can see you idiot, seriously, what was Riot's thinking process when they made the distance between her and the targets awareness so freaking huge? Reduce it a bit so that Eve has a chance to snag her target before they can escape her. That invisibility isn't a fun mechanic to deal with, and with how much oracles and pink wards have been nerfed since her rework, you have to look at the big picture. Whether you want to admit it or not, Eve creates global pressure. You can't safely ward against her because pinks can be seen and destroyed, and if you go into her jungle to reward, you risk being pincered, so in turn, she is going to have to take a hit somewhere so she isn't utterly oppressive. > Mundo- Mundo does go everywhere, especially spawn! Somehow people though he was strong? Don't know how that happened. Haven't been keeping up much with LCS, so I might have missed that. But he really needs a new kit in general. I mean, I like spamming Q for days on end, like everyone that mains him, but it gets dreadfully bland really fast. So you want him to be strong, because you don't know how strong he used to be, and how he used to be considered a "low risk, high reward champion?" > ZAC- Why was he created in the first place? This guy just needs some damned damage. He really doesn't hurt much at all, and if anything is just a massive damage soaker, so he is heavily team reliant. Which is good and all, expect when your attempts at keeping up are shut down by basically anyone with the IQ of a rock. Just tweak his damage a bit so that he has more early game presence. Not talking heavy instant killing damage, but enough that he matters. And yes, even tanks need damage. Yes, tanks do need damage, and he already has it, especially if you buy the AP jungle item now. I'm confused, are we basing balanced around LCS play and level of this game, or around what you do and don't see and do and don't like to play and play against at your elo?

Her damage is actually rather meph without her passive so nerf that too heavily, and she is useless. That's where the hard part comes in. Her problem is that passive. But tweak it too little, does nothing, tweaking to much kills her. Hmm.. Make it Physical instead of True? But give it some ArPen to compensate? So that heavily armor'd targets can still be hurt by it. > > Really now, if that was the case, why is she not played every game, and once again, by doing what? You can't just say tone down, tone to what degree, what skill, why, how will you compensate her for being an utterly mobile mage? I hate using Sona every time, but... Sona wasn't used in "every" game, but was still gutted into oblivion. Lowering her E's bases a bit, but also reduce cost to compensate. She'll be able to use it more, but with less damage. So she doesn't instantly 100-0. > > So then you have the non mobile mage have even less means of protecting herself while also doing less damage then a standard APC, why would you pick her over Orianna or Annie, or every other mage now? Because long range stun is better than short range stun? I did say I prefer to reduce her projectile speed a bit. She still gets a knockback from casting the ability. So it's not completely removing her safety. Diana is another champion that really needs to be tweaked a bit. Become strong too fast with fairly little. I really hate the idea of Resets on tanky champions that can dish out a ton of damage. Oh, and Akali still has a longer range, and no cost. So yeah still a reason to pick over Diana. Unless you're good at landing her Q, in which case pick Dianna over Akali. > > Amumu isn't busted because of items, he is busted because of the amount of CC he can output on top of his ultimate which is going to put him in a safe spot no matter how many nerfs he gets. His damage isn't really the problem and is actually lower then a lot of other tank champions right now. You mean his R that no longer stops attacks (Ryze W) and his Q that has a reduced range nerf and is easy to see coming? Yeah no, his real CC comes from Rylas. Popping that on him make it impossible for targets to get away from him. > > And then the players are once again whining about his stagnant ADCs are and why they should play her over MF? Because Lucien is much more mobile and can still dish out more damage pre 6 than MF. On top of that MF, is forced to sit while firing her Ult, Lucien can burn through minions and melt the tank with his, all while moving. > > So let me get this straight, you are saying that they shouldn't gut champions in earlier post, but saying that they should here? How is making a champion not viable balance? Have you ever considered why she needs to be able to dash back. It was a joke... I put "No, but seriously" for a reason... I did consider it. I put that it would be a major risk/ high reward. Meaning she'd have to kill her target or be put to death if she wasn't allowed to dash back. But than, her QR exist for a reason. Maybe remove her dash back is a viable option, considering the tons of damage her QR currently does. Not including damage boost from E. Uhh, yeah? Cause if said champions where to jump on her, she could easily combo them down. Which is nice and all, but it kind of defeats the purpose of counter play. I'm not saying to give her .1 ratios. Just a bit less. Like .5.5 for Q, .4 for E, .6.5 for R. Not big nerfs. But enough to make her not shut down the entire enemy team in one ability. Taric currently buffs his team with his R. And only his team. I'm thinking more along the lines of, as Sona uses abilities, her buffs/debuffs increase in effectiveness, a Crescendo, if you will... She still is less tanky, and doesn't have, or won't have, the hard CC he has to shut down a single target. Not to mention her cost are much higher, and her early game to late game effectiveness is no where near as much. > > So you are fine with Vitkor having a power spike and being strong early, but not Anivia? Because he loses it around level 12, Ani doesn't. > > That invisibility isn't a fun mechanic to deal with, and with how much oracles and pink wards have been nerfed since her rework, you have to look at the big picture. You can't safely ward against her because pinks can be seen and destroyed, and if you go into her jungle to reward, you risk being pincered, so in turn, she is going to have to take a hit somewhere so she isn't utterly oppressive. True, but the way she's being hit now makes her undesirable by many. Basically, she's too unsafe to play. While getting ahead could mean an easy win, it could also turn into a huge defeat if you somehow can't keep up the pressure, which is hard to do if you don't have a ton of tricks up your sleeve. > > So you want him to be strong, because you don't know how strong he used to be, and how he used to be considered a "low risk, high reward champion?" When was he ever strong? Build anything with Grievous wounds or BotRK for ADC/Fighters and you can easily knock him out. He basically just exist in the game after a certain point. > > Yes, tanks do need damage, and he already has it, especially if you buy the AP jungle item now. But than he loses his tankyness. I mean, it's a nice item, without a doubt. But building him more AP tank would suit his needs over pure AP. But building AP Tank doesn't give him the tankyness or the damage, building him AP doesn't give him the tankyness, and buiding him tank doesn't give enough damage. > > I'm confused, are we basing balanced around LCS play and level of this game, or around what you do and don't see and do and don't like to play and play against at your elo? I was thinking about balancing each champion based off their kit? I think it's an option. So I'll choose that. As much as I love the LCS and my Elo #Sarcasm, balancing around just that wouldn't be too smart...
: I'm a casual League player, always have been. That being said, I never go into a game with the mindset of 'I wouldn't mind losing', which is what some people deem casual means. I'm not very good at League, been playing since Season 1 and the highest rank I've ever achieved is Bronze 2. I just don't have the time to really grind out ranked games, but I still very much enjoy playing. All that being said, I really disagree with the attitude that Riot doesn't care about balance or about the players. I know most of you would likely disregard my opinions regarding champion viability and balance due to my rank, but here are some thoughts: * Balance overall could be better, but it's certainly been worse than it is now. Marksmen still seem on the strong side, and a few tankier characters get a lot more bang out of offensive items than most (due to their inherently stronger defense). * Reports do work, I cannot fathom how people think they do not. You will often see people bitching about their punishments for toxic chat behavior, but you rarely see people bitching about getting punished for in-game behavior. Two reasons for this: One, they don't have a leg to stand on, i.e. they can't try to garner pity from the boards; two, people that intentionally troll games would much rather have the rest of us believe reports are ineffective so that they don't get reported as much. * It seems disingenuous to claim that champions are easy to balance when the majority of us have no experience or knowledge in game design. You may think a champion is easy to 'balance', but are you considering all the factors of making changes to that champion? What is your definition of 'balance'? Are you actually looking to make things better overall, or just to push a champion or set of champions down into obscurity?

You may think a champion is easy to 'balance', but are you considering all the factors of making changes to that champion? What is your definition of 'balance'? Are you actually looking to make things better overall, or just to push a champion or set of champions down into obscurity? Oh.. True, I forget most people don't know how to search of information, do math, and question theories. Especially in GD. And I studied game design for a while. Going to go back an start making some games later on. Maybe... I'm trying to lose weight and balance work at the same time, and it's pretty hard so far. And the only Report that works is for "Toxic" behavior. Which is basically "Act as casual as you can, and don't give a damn about winning in the slightest." Which bores me to death. Personally. Well, in a perfect world, I'd like every champion to be viable. It's not a perfect world. So I, and a lot of others, would rather having discussions on what champions are truly strong, and truly weak. Where people look at numbers and statistics to determine if a champion is over or underwhelming. And through that, come to point where Riot can take a look at it, and determine if it's possible to work with it. Also, having playtesters that actually play test the champions. And not just go in for the free IP/LP. I am NOT asking for every OP champion to be nerfed, and every UP champion to be buffed. But I'll still get people that say I do.
: Oh no, I question things constantly. Things that are unreasonable. 5 Years one, is not how long the game has been out. It's been almost 7 now. Also, balance is something every single game EVER that is competitive in nature struggles with. Literally. That's why I'm saying what i am. You can't "balance" a game, with hundreds of items, and over a 100 champions with over 1000 abilities because it's too vast. It has too much interchangeability. If you balanced Ashe, then i build Heavy tank bruiser ashe and abused the slows, guess what, things are balanced now huh? Because either i'm going to destroy with my range and slows, and survivability, or i'm going to get crushed in the Meta. You can't have true balance in a competitive game. By sitting here saying they can "balance" the game in a month, is absurd, and that number was literally pulled out of your ass. That's why i said it. The only games with true balance are games with little to no customization. That's why there is patches, buffs and nerfs. To keep tilting overall. But then the PLAYERS, repeat PLAYERSSSSS, they find some other way to abuse things, or find some item that is uncoventional, but amazing, and it breaks the balance again. What are you even saying? But thanks for bringing up an example. Look at fallout. "balance" doesn't really exist. It's a single player franchise that thrives on a set game. Whereas CoD, as bad as it is imo, is a multiplayer game, with a competitive field. When there is money and competitive ranks on the line, there's guess what: Balancing! Is everything balanced there? I have no idea because i don't play it, but No. It's not. Grow up, stop insulting random people who tell you that you are being ridiculous, and quit already if you aren't satisfied. Ehh I've seen what people (Riot) can do when they put their minds to it (See DJ Sona). So I'm damned sure they can do it if they bothered. You can have true balance in a competitive game. But that requires paying attention to what you're doing. Something Riot stopped doing when they promised a new champion every week, which basically threw everything into a massive dog shit pile. MW2 had quite a bit of customization. Hell games like Blade and Soul and Black Desert also have quite a bit of customization that works well. But it has to become to primary concern of the developers. Something Riot isn't even bothering to do. See "creating workarounds without fixing the actual issues". Heavy tank bruiser Ashe should be a viable build, but the way the current meta is, you wouldn't be able to output enough damage, nor be tanky enough to survive. So it would really work only if the enemy team was just bad. Cod and FO both require skill, but one takes a lot less than the other. Where in CoD, a single buildpath would dominate all, FO requires more... umm precise consideration into strategy. Although I don't play on Easy mode, so that might also be an issue you're facing on that.. It's only offensive if it's true. So... wow I must've hit a switch with you! I don't care about my rank decay, since it's something I can get back later on when a few friends start playing. Speaking of insults.. Tired of kids being kids.. But oh well, kids are kids...

Since it'd proc on her ultimate dealing tons of damage. Hell a viable build was to get 4 of those, an AS item, and boots. I'm talking after the Tiamat rework, which was shortly after Fiora's release. However, that build you mentioned was very much a gimmick. It wasn't ever that effective. And you'd have been better off with Last Whisper + Boots instead of an AS item in place of Last Whisper. However, I'm not saying it was hard for Old Fiora to recover from a bad early game, seeing as how I did it often enough. Usually that meant split pushing with Tiamat, which was a great way for her to remain relevant without being committed to team fights.

Oh, I didn't play much during that time, but I feel as if it was short, seeing that when I came back we had the new Hydra's. And that build worked so damned well! I tried it once, and stopped play Fio right after. Don't like playing the broken champs too much, I become to reliant.

Gotta start off with "BARD WAS LOW RISK HIGH REWARD EVER!? Is that like the whole "Mundo is sooo stronk" crap that' went around a few weeks back? Hmm, Fiora- Passive, kit revolves around doing too much for too little. Kick that passive in the nuts. Anivia- hit level 2 and win. Tone down for what. Syndra- Land a stun with that insane hitbox, proceed to combo down tons of damage. Reduce'd ratios? Reduced hit box? I perfer the smaller hit box, and slower projectile speed honestly. Amumu- Get away from me if you can. This is more of an Item change and less of an ability change. If they made it so Rylas could only proc 1 second after the effect wears off, champions like Amumu wouldn't have total control over an opponent the second it touches the AoE. Zyra- Ratios.. What the hell are you thinking RIot. Just reduce the ratios a bit. Nothing much here. Projectile speed is fine, base's are generally fine, duration of cc is fine, range is fine, maybe a small tweak to her range wouldn't hurt much. Urgot- Tanky ADC, works for some, not in this case. Urgot is a weird one. I think they have a rework in plan for this guy, but I haven't been hearing about it as much. In truth, his Ult is just weird for his kit. I understand it's meant to re position him into a better spot, but the way it works doesn't do that too well. Especially since it takes 2 seconds to flip. Giving him a defining role between ADC and tank would be a nice start, and from their work the way up. Personally, I like to play him more as an ADC, his passive is nice when dueling other ADC's. Having Q proc would be nice, but might make him too strong. So that would require playtesting to see if it works well or not. His W and E abilities work nicely, truth be told. Eve- I can see you idiot, seriously, what was Riot's thinking process when they made the distance between her and the targets awareness so freaking huge? Reduce it a bit so that Eve has a chance to snag her target before they can escape her. Bard- He's fun though? Increasing the speed of the Q projectile would be a nice start. And fixing the position of the charms so they don't appear under the enemy turret would be a huge plus! ZAC- Why was he created in the first place? This guy just needs some damned damage. He really doesn't hurt much at all, and if anything is just a massive damage soaker, so he is heavily team reliant. Which is good and all, expect when your attempts at keeping up are shut down by basically anyone with the IQ of a rock. Just tweak his damage a bit so that he has more early game presence. Not talking heavy instant killing damage, but enough that he matters. And yes, even tanks need damage. Im oddly hoping for real feedback, but considering the general IQ of GD is less than that of a religious nut, I'm not holding my breath.

Tone it down a bit early on so that opponents have a chance to fight back before they are 100-0'd in a single combo. It's not Pre Fio rework, but it's still pretty harsh. I was talking about post rework Fiora, not pre. Old Fiora was a much better example of high risk high reward because so much of her relevance depended on her early game performance. If she got shut down, she was usually incapable of being a huge influence for the remainder of the game. If she performed well, she would often snowball into a monster that was difficult to stop. She also had to play around her opponent more than her current kit need to. Current kit is the same old "hit a vital, get mileage" against whomever she faced. Old Kit involved a lot more consideration depending on her opponent, particularly if it was Jax, Malphite, Rammus or Pantheon (the nightmares...). That said, even a weak nerf in reducing the number might cause a loss of her relevance. Here's the difference between a tweak and an outright buff/nerf: A buff simply adds power. A nerf simply removes power. A tweak takes power from one portion of a skill, and moves it to a different part. So for example, there was one tweak to Fiora's ultimate after Ravenous Hydra had been out for a while. They had increased the % for a repeat hit, but had also reduced the base damage. A straight nerf would be what happened to Fiora's Bladework ability, eliminating the bonus range it offered while it was active. You're suggesting a small nerf. Not a tweak.

Her immobility is a huge weakness compared to most other mid laners, so she needs something to compensate for it. And depending on the champions you list, we don't necessarily have "bad arguments and false logic" and we might simply agree with you. Before her nerfs, Fiora was a good example of low risk, high reward. She got reliable mileage against all of her opponents and was too strong to outright kill. Something like that would be wonderful IF it existed on League. Which it doesn't. Which is why this is an issue. Which is why Fiora is such a god damn pain in everyone's ass. Which is why Akali's counter play for the longest time ( 1-1 and a half years) was to place a pink down and pray to god she doesn't instant kill your ADC. We don't have reasonable counters to Meta, or Riot unleashes a counter to the Meta, which in turn becomes insanely OP, which starts off a new Meta. So we never get the Perfect Imbalance. And since the community (you) never attempts to halt Riot from doing something insanely stupid, like nerfing, we end up in a worse situation that continues to grow as the game develops out of control. Tweaking and Nerfing are two different things by the way. I do believe their are some cases that a nerf is required, but in most, a simple tweak here and their would suffice.

Not at all. Riot has the money and manpower to do this very thing. But it just doesn't generate income to have a balanced and enjoyable game... apparently? Umm I listed them at the top? "On top of that a lot of OP champions are stupidly easy to balance, but it seems RIot is actively ignoring the things that are needed to be fix by using a bad workaround that ends up either making the champion more stronger, or doesn't fix the issues at all. On top of THAT, they haven't even attempted to consider the Risk/Reward of each champion, and that's after 5 years of this game being active!" They need to stop attempting to do stupid workarounds and start addressing the actual Issue (Anivia should not get a massive damage spike at level 2, but should be mitigated as she Levels, so that her power boost isn't so overwhelming from start to finish). High Risk/ Low Reward is a major problem with this game where the champions are either no longer played, or started and stayed trash tier. Versus Low Risk/High Reward that do outstanding from start to finish, being able to safely do a ton of damage, while not having to worry to much about their own safety due to some overpowering skill/attribute. Champions should have some sort of Risk/Reward to them, but the current system is dominated by Low risk/ High reward champions

Or... Umm.. Cap the max spears on a target to 3 to champs, 5 for mobs. Make it so she can only dash once every 3rd hit. Put it on her Q as a passive. Maplestore and Ragnarok are garbage games that died a slow painful death. They basically took anyone that didn't play 24/7 and told them to piss off. Which doesn't do to well in todays market, where everyone expects to be strong. And with games like Black Desert coming out that offers both power, and simply being a dick by hoarding much needed mobs. But in a way that doesn't hinder others from starting the game fresh, enjoying, and being able to power house down those hoarding. So you ultimately have massive wars going on all the time for Fishing spots. Although, NA is a bit far from that since we don't have the newer patches.

Well that explain why they nerfed Sona so damned much.. But hey, Vayne 3 shotting tanks is fine right? But hey, Xin instant killing the entire team in 10 seconds and taking no damage is fine right? But hey, Fiora instant killing everything she touches in a second is fine right? But hey, Udyr being an unstoppable mobile tank instant killer is fine right? : Thunderlords is quite balanced now, and although I commonly see it used, the alternatives have very clear purposes as well that can be much better than Thunderlords. For example, any tank running Thunderlords is missing out on a lot of tankiness from a Keystone mastery from the tank tree, and also had to go 18 into the cunning tree when they definitely shouldn't. The same can be said for ADC, Fervor can be exceptionally better on AS based champions although not always.

The same can be said for ADC, Fervor can be exceptionally better on AS based champions although not always. The difference being, those masteries don't 100-0 you after 3 hits. They've been tweaked to a state where they aren't too OP, but they aren't completely useless. Unless you put Thunderlords into the mix.
: The problem isn't that Thunderlord's is broken, it's that its alternatives aren't good enough. That's how impactful a keystone mastery is actually supposed to be. They're supposed to be that strong, all of them. Unfortunately, many keystones have an extremely unhealthy design that makes it so they can't be as powerful. Warlord's Bloodlust was disgusting when it was as powerful as Thunderlord's. So, either the idea of keystones being impactful is bad in general, or all other keystones need to be tweaked and brought up a little bit.

So, either the idea of keystones being impactful is bad in general, or all other keystones need to be tweaked and brought up a little bit. Wouldn't mind the latter, but it seems like Thunderlords is Riot's poster child for masteries. "LOOKIE KIDS, YOU CAN CHUNK 90% OF THE TARGETS HP EVERY 3 HITS!!" If they bought Thunderlords down to the same level as the other ones, that'd work to. But again, they won't.
: There is no way you can get 100 IP from a bot game unless it's your first win of the day. Also, the faster the game, the less IP you earn. Doing quick games doesn't grant you very much IP you could get around 40-50 IP per bot game. That takes around 125-155 games to buy a 6300 champ and around 95-120 games for a 4800 champ. That's a ton of games, and it takes a long time unless you are playing the game non-stop.

Oh, so you're getting it! You're not going to get anywhere unless you play the game non-stop. You're not gonna get champions right off the bat, nor are you going to max your level. So 200 games is nothing compared to the amount you'll have to do to rise up through ranked. And with the increasing amount of retards and trolls Riot so stupidly promotes.... Good luck..

I did. AP MF is just as garbage as AP Shaco, and only works till Riot realizes that AD champions don't need and should never have AP stats. (See Master Yi). Cause than players like you pop up, causing the kit to be gutted for AD players to. Making it a huge hassle for those of us that want to bring out the full potential of a champion and not win by some cheese luck crap. If you want an ap champ with hard Dot slowing, pick up Crystal Scepter on a Morgana or Brand. Both will do then what MF shouldn't. As for instant kill safety burst, I suggest LeBlanc.
