To people saying this could be abused. They already said they have a system to detect if you're losing games intentionally next season (which I know is going to be a joke and they're only adding it because they're FORCING us to play autofill games and not switch and we'll suffer from it even if we try not to lose but still lose our autofill games). They could easily implement it with this. If you have 5 loss prevention because of afk out of your last 10 then you start to lose double exp or something . ezp

Omg yest please!!!! This new system is a lie! They want you to think you have a voice in banning a champion but it's the same 5 bans on both sides every game!! well except for the rouge brain dead kid that bans corki or no champ and ruins the game for everyone. I've been saying this the whole time they changed it to 10. There are too many champs and too many champs riot either intentionally makes too op or they just don't address unintentional buffs like when quinn was a god forever because they buffed items.

you know how to keep your hp high against ranged champions with low cd and dot ? don't play. Dark harvest makes people scared to play and that's a problem.

I was chasing him out in the open and he just turned around and Q'd me for almost all of my health (and he was NOT fed). Imagine if he was fed, 1 Q = insta death. Usually I don't complain about Riot being bad, but this is a joke.
such a sad story :( It's things like this that are probably going to make me retire from league next season. It's not even close to being the same game i started playing 5 years ago.

: I think dark harvest is overrated post hot fix. Now let's go over a few things. The numbers first. As most of us know, 20 souls is the requirement to match electrocute in base damage alone, this doesn't take into account that the ratios differ pretty substantially as well. E: .4 BAd, .25 Ap DH: .25 BAd, .15 Ap Now, let's say we look in lane. Oh you didn't kill your target. Well your ball is going to take longer to get rolling if you don't manage to get a kill every proc of it. Electrocute on the other hand offers the reliability of followup all ins at a much lower cool down. Basically if you don't kill your target in a single all in, you are already behind electrocute damage curve. Moving on, the rune fills a niche of a snowballing bloody game filled with lots of kills to really get you going. But I have a theory. That everyone and their mother wants to be the carry and utilize the new 'busted rune'. So in turn you get a game filled with much squishier target selection where over 75% of players are just glass cannons trying to burst each other. Allowing for the condition of a bloody game to become self fulfilling. Someone's is going to get fed somewhere with such a squishy team, and they will take those experiences to Reddit or the boards here. We can't act like Dark Harvest is the be all end all rune to win a game or even lane for that matter. If everyone is posting their own anecdotal experiences I might as well mentioned I won lane as Camille vs akali with dark harvest and put her so far behind once I got rolling with pta that she stood at 3 souls for 25 mins. It's a rune reliant on you snowballing. It's a rune reliant on a bloody mess of a game. It's a joke to see everyone overhype this just so it gets nerfed into the ground. Sure take 1 damage from souls if it makes you feel better but we can't sit here and act like it's much more busted than it actually is.
90% of games i'm in the team that has 4-5 dark harvest runes is the team that wins. That's not how the game is supposed to work.
: So just to point out why Dark harvest Resets on kills. Its because it would be harder to stack. If it did not reset the stacks could only max out at 1 per 45 secs. This would mean for dark harvest to surpass electrocute in damage you would have to proc it every 45 secs. for 20 minutes. I do agree with a lot of the points you have made but was to scared to make a post on it. The idea of limiting the ways to proc dark harvest would balance it out but to continue the changes rather then removing the reset completely and by proxy removing the point of dark harvest I would suggest making dark harvest either deal reduced damage per reset for instance every consecutive dark harvest proc deal 20% reduced damage making it so that you can only deal 300% of the dark harvest damage in a team fight and then having the reduced damage resetting after 45 sec. Another Idea that I had was to remove the resets damage and make it so that you get the stacks and something like 5 secs. off of dark harvests cooldown. Over all though I do like you post a lot its nice {{sticker:slayer-pantheon-thumbs}}
Yeah kills make sense but they're saying assists don't make sense. Like I added in the op, it would make more sense to have kills maybe do a 75% cd return and assists maybe do 50% that way you can't kill the entire team with one jhin q or make pyke and karthus ults 100000000x game breaking.

: I think the damage needs toned down personally, or a mechanical change so its healthier to play against. DH evens out with electrocute (@ level 18) at 20 stacks (before it was 13.) I'm really not finding it hard to get >20 before level 15 meaning DH at all stages of the game for me is constantly more damage then electrocute, I'm getting enough stacks to keep up with electrocute's scaling, and on top of that it scales higher then electrocutes damage and can be proced multiple times in a teamfight.. and is especially bullshit that red buff and items can proc it. While DoT in champion kits I think is annoying, I believe its fair that say, teemo or malzahar can proc DH since they're literally limited to a SUPPORT keystone (aery) without deathfire touch, and this kinda does work for them (during laning phase probably all of DFT's poke equals that one DH proc anyway). However Ignite, liandry's scorch.. those shouldn't proc it imo. DH should be restricted to champion kits, not third party sources including; - items - runes - debuffs (lulu's bonus damage for your autos, red buff, sej passive, zeke's from an ally, etc) - summoner spells (ignite, mark, smite) Like...its not hard to stack it at all: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/228129464251318273/516408855358603291/unknown.png I think reducing it to +4 damage per stack (from 5) would be fair (would need 25 stacks to even out with electrocute, meaning it'll be more rewarding then electrocute if you play well, it'll still be reliable for teamfights, but it will fall off in comparison if you can't get the stacks or fall behind.), but I'd like to see if that kind of nerf is even necessary if they removed third party damage sources first. (less of those "lul got a stack off that" moments so less stacks in total). The rune itself is fine by design though. I like the concept, just it could see healthier tweaks. EDIT: I just want to add a disclaimer that i didn't factor the different AP/AD ratios when evening out the stacks with electrocute. There's too many variables with the scalings that can make the gaps dramatically different. I'm strictly referring to 20 stacks of DH = the per level scaling of max level electrocute

I tried it on zoe and i brought this janna down to 40% hp from full life with a q r combo but my dark harvest did not go off. the janna lit up showing me if i damaged her 1 more time that i would get a stack but my keystone did not trigger on her even though i brought her form 100% - 40%

I am curious to see you release statistics on the number of these players that regain rewards and then go on to get yet another punishment next season. I think you’ll find that rate of reform among this population will actually **decrease**. People do not reform when they are simply handed things. They reform when things are taken away. I know you’ll never release those stats though because any stats you release may make you look bad.
You should be asking for the number of players that are eligible for rewards in the first place. I bet you it's ALOT lower than you think it is buddy. There's a reason they're doing this. They don't want the stigma of their game being toxic but when you can't give at least half the players rewards because of toxicity how are you going to get rid of that?

I have friends that got honor 0 and just said screw it and started just trolling on their accounts because there's no reason to even try since it takes lik 8 months just to get to honor 1. You need to realize the biggest thing ruining your game is your over reactive punishment system. The only reason people play is to get season rewards but they get to honor 1 without even a warning and then they give up. Either give " if you continue to be toxic or afk you will be demoted to honor 1" warnings before stripping people of their rewards or make the system less harsh. especially on people that are just doing friendly banter. I remember when I could call people all types of names playing around for a whole season and get rewards. But now you're making it too easy for people to get other people punished because they had a bad gamer or pissed them off in a game and especially if it's a premades in norms or flex. Please get your game together when it comes to this. Get rid of chat or tell people to stop being little babies.

: i never believe these "i got banned off of one game where a premade reported me" rants. the report system has features that skew the weight of premade reports, and no one gets banned off one game to begin with. if all you did was type some mean stuff, it would have been a restriction at most. if you got a 2 week its because you had multiple games of reports or you typed racial slurs or something

: tl;dr: Somewhere in between 11/13 and beginning of next season (basically, wait for Riot to deliver rewards, and no one knows exactly when that will be) I did this a couple of years ago and you won't get your rewards if you switch servers before they show up. It actually took a few weeks after the end of the season to get my rewards in EUW (which was such a long time to wait/play on crazy high ping from the US!) but then I switched to NA right after and kept them. One thing to note is that while you will get the rewards, your history on the new server will show you as unranked for last season since you didn't play on it (or if you started the season on NA, then switched, then switched back to NA, it will show whatever your NA rank was). If you look at my history on na.op.gg, it shows that I was bronze in s6, but in reality I started ranked in NA (and sucked), moved to Europe, got silver in EUW, then transferred back to NA after the season was over and I had my rewards. I had my silver loading border and everything but my history shows as bronze (not a big deal, but just something to note).
wow. thanks. So if I switch I still keep the border and stuff tho right? it just doesn't show on my op.gg and stuff.
