: Support Lulu builds?
I always build her as an anti-%-damage tank with additional utility. The build's concept: The only way to take more % health damage is with shields, if you take 100% health damage you die even as a tank, no matter how much health you have. Raising your maximum health reduces the effectiveness of shields against % health damage so more health isn't wanted. 2000 health + 400 shield = 120% health, 3000 health + 400 shield = 112% health. I max the cooldown reduction with runes and build: {{item:1001}} {{item:3003}} {{item:3025}} {{item:3512}} {{item:2301}} As core, and situational: {{item:3001}} {{item:3026}} {{item:3089}} With this build you're the hardest possible to kill for a Vayne, you're impossible to chase and you can permaslow anyone you catch out of position for your team to come assist you.
: @ Riot are you satisfied with the lulu changes
They're probably first testing out how it'll affect her win rate. She's still completely overnerfed to garbage to even remotely be viable as support. The nerfs she received were far too harsh, especially the E duration nerf was a pretty hefty utility nerf. I mained her on support before she became a regular pick for mid but I still don't feel like I want to play her again.

: Here's the funny part. How come games like CS:GO don't mind this behaviour as long as it doesn't overall hurt the gameplay itself? They don't mind you speaking trash and venting as long as you don't intervene with the game's mechanics e.g. hacking. I guess Riot were bullied in school or something.
I consider it admirable Riot goes that far to not condone any sort of toxic behaviour, Riot basically has a 0 tolerance to bullying which is a good thing to make League of Legends more friendly to play for younger kids and players that already get bullied in real life. You redicule it, but if you hate it that much then I gladly refer you to Randomonium his last 2 sentences.

: Permanently Banned for no reason and no e-mail sent to me.
There is a summoners code and you clearly broke it, there's no sign you'd change your behaviour because you seem to love saying izi which is just annoying and toxic that you pretend to be better than your opponent so I like that you got banned. Maybe you'll get a little wiser from this, but somehow I expect you won't.

: Was the lulu buff really necessary ?
I hope Lulu mid won't ever become a thing again. I really hate that E duration nerf (from 6 to 4 seconds, remember?) which doesn't allow to glitterlance twice from one E. It was just really fun to do and a little unpredictable for the opponent that created funny situations where the enemy asks for what the heck happened :p

: The ADC just needs to freeze the lane so I can zone with my ghoals. Works extremely well. Bonus efficiency if the ADC follows up just a little with an ability like Sivir Q and Jinx/Jhin W. They wouldn't be able to walk anywhere within range of me at all. And if they try to poke back at me, I just heal everything back up with my E ghoal. My W ghoal slows anyone near where I place it then proceeds to chase the nearest enemy (or what I attack/am getting attacked by) and slows them. Best anti-gank tool. The only problem is that I have mana problems at every point of the game unless I get blue (which I do sometimes if most people on the team are resourceless or have no mana problems). Then his ult pretty much gives me a second ADC to work with (look it up, it is awesome). I suggest looking up each of his abilities.
Okay thanks for explaining that, I know Yorick's abilities so I didn't think it'd be possible, but perhaps in that situation it could work. I do odd supports as well, lately I've been toying a bit with Malzahar support and Urgot support. Urgot with Thunderlord and Spellthief's Edge hurts really badly, hit 1 E hit 2 Q for the Thunderlord and watch health disappear :)

: what just having everyone having a massive experience boost for until they reach level 6? just get the game going and breeze through early as soon as possible
The issue is that the reason they have their current strategy is because it isn't worth the time and risk to defend the turret, meaning the strategy won't change unless it becomes rewarding or unnecessary to defend the turret. So sadly an exp boost won't change that.
Voidrey (NA)
: that'll make the first 6 minutes absolutely pointless.
If you talk about objectives, then yes. But in the LCS they'll focus on the next best thing to do when the turrets are invulnerable for 6 minutes which would be the jungle, counterjungling, dragon and getting kills. But it's hard to predict what they'd do, I'm not a pro after all.

: play support some time
I often play unusual champions as support in normals, it's fun to have so much freedom to pick whatever you want as long as you have a decent idea what you're doing.
: Rotating game mode queue now live!
I expect the next gametypes Nexus Siege (because they keep it secret) and a gametype without minions on SR. (random guess, would be funny though)
: Riot you have removed the "hardcore" scene from league
Best solution is to make the turrets invulnerable for 6 minutes. That'll create a different game every time because early game would never be the same.

: Rengar's should get {{item:3142}} as their first item, so that's okay, and same with zed's build. As an ADC, the jinx probably should have gotten a LW, and more notably, you should have told him to do so before the game even started. That team you have is an all pick team, so based off that I'm assuming that the enemy DIDN'T play as a team and got picked off constantly to lose. However, your pick-off team against their team based comp would have lost if they played as 5, and I'm sure you know that. If I were in the enemies shoes I would have just 5 manned everywhere since your team can't engage into that at all. But, individual mindsets got in the way and that didn't happen in your case. I should probably add that if someone raises their voice for the team for the interest of the team, it's likely that the team will start communicating better, which is part of team play.
Look, typical silvers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1seKqVA4U7c A match of 56 minutes, blue plays against 3 tanks yet none bought a Void Staff/Lord Dominik. I thought it'd be funny to point this out to you considering our earlier discussion here.
SHerv (NA)
: I agree the armor pen was lacking, and you 100% should have went APC if you're entire team was AD. Fizz top and jungle are usually tanks now, so it would be good to remember that. Should always remind your ADC to get an item that you noticed he's missing. Take responsibility for teammate problems, even if that means you having to deal with more stress. But, that again falls into sacrificing for your team's win. Also, I'm not saying trust your teammates, I'm saying that you should trust your own abilities in helping with your team's lack of skill. This does not necessarily suggest carrying no matter what.
I made some assumptions that I shouldn't have yes, but I don't know what you mean with sacrifices. Do you mean me flashing over a wall to eat up a teammate Zed to get him out with 100 health or so? I did that that match.
SHerv (NA)

I'm talking about the total penetration they bought at the end of the match, it was a 40 minutes long match and that was the armor penetration they bought (if you wanna know where, you can find it here I played Tahm Kench: [link](http://euw.op.gg/summoner/userName=balbraaksel) ) ) So I disagree what you're saying, they knew we were full AD because there was a littlebit of a dialogue going about it within the team that someone had to pick an APC so they were aware of it and I assumed they'd know what to do in that situation. I also told them to build armor penetration but the Zed thought he didn't need it and the Jinx forgot about it, also the Fizz was sortof tank (well, honestly I don't know what to think of what that build is, AD bruiser Fizz? :s) so he didn't intend to build it at all. Anyway I should've just did what I always did, pick an APC support and build as a tank destroyer. I want to add that often someone doesn't even know these items and then I have to tell them what the item icon looks like because their client is in a different language. I am aware of this problem so I often try to motivate others to itemize correctly but even that won't always help, they say no two {{item:3031}} is better because then I have 100% crit or no I need my {{item:3072}} first because I die so often without dealing enough damage while at the 30th minute against 3 tanks. But I get what you're saying and you're right so some degree, things just don't always go your way if you tell someone to do something.
SHerv (NA)
: Biggest mistakes that Bronze/Silver/Gold players do in "Elo Hell"
I can't help to think that silver feels so random because I frequently see an APC/ADC full build without a Void Staff or Last Whisper upgraded item and almost never building it on time if even planned to built at all, even if the enemy has a Thornmail I frequently don't see a {{item:3036}} {{item:3033}} . **I even had a match where in my team:** Jinx had no armor penetration. Zed had {{item:3147}} {{item:3142}} Rengar {{item:3142}} Fizz no armor penetration. (was AD tank or something) Me as Tahm Kench no armor penetration. **Against an enemy team with:** Braum with {{item:3075}} Tristana with {{item:1031}} Ryze with {{item:3024}} {{item:1029}} Riven with {{item:3026}} Nunu with {{item:3047}} {{item:3742}} {{item:3075}} {{item:3110}} This is a prime example at how messed up it all is in silver, not only did my team not pick an APC they also failed to itemize enough armor penetration even when the enemy has 2 {{item:3075}} And the worst of all of this is that we even won this. Like, can it be even more random than that? So my own preferred method to climb is to pick a support that can destroy tanks with AP.
: If you are mid last pick and you picks ad assassin when whole team have no ap
I agree with this but I also hate anyone who doesn't have the brain to think up he'd need to build a {{item:3036}} {{item:3071}} {{item:3033}} {{item:3135}} as 3rd/4th item against a team with 3 tanks. I consider 100 armor on an enemy as time for buying {{item:3035}} and 120 armor or magic resist for time to buy {{item:3036}} {{item:3135}} . Because most itemize properly against tanks in silver I'm a Zyra support main, build {{item:3151}} {{item:3135}} and you're set to carry the game as a tank wrecker.

: Lulu Nerfs
Lulu is already unviable as support. Supports need to be strong early and have CC, Lulu has too high mana costs to do her job and is too squishy to autoattack as poke. She was my favorite support, but now I just can't get her to do decently in lane. I try to compensate the nerfs a little by myself with teleport so mana isn't such a huge problem but still I can't perform well on her while I can easily dominate with other supports. And that while I have 500+ matches experience with her, wtf.
: Patch 5.10 notes
Lol another Lulu support nerf. I often play Lulu as support and I care little about mana regeneration because one engage costs you your full mana bar. (both defensive and offensive) Level 1: 292 mana. (+55 per level) Glitterlance: 60 mana (scales up per level on mana cost, up to 80 mana) Whimsey: 65 mana Help, Pix!: 60 mana (scales up per level on mana cost, up to 100 mana) Once you're out of mana you're useless and no mana regeneration's going to cover that.

: One tank may be weak but 3 tanks on one team is unbeatable.
The opponent didn't counterbuild at all. Carries should get their Void Staff/Last Whisper really early if they play against 3 tanks or they'll just lose. Pantheon did have a Black Cleaver but then the ADC needs to be intelligent enough to focus the one(s) that Pantheon used Heartseeker Strike on.

Right? The most recently cast shield is actually the first depleted. However, that isn't really as helpful as you would hope, because the only item shield that is large enough to even help in late game is face of the mountain's. Not a very good idea to get that for yourself... most likely your support will have to. And if your support is using that on you, they can't use it on people that need it more, like your adc. Shields like Ori's E are very useful, but you can't consistently rely on other champs to do that for you...
Yeah, true. We need a good tank shield item, it'd also help against % health damage which with penetration is pretty hard to counter atm.

: Das Dragon
Taking turrets early isn't a good idea either, doing things like that can cost you a lot of CS and might even gets you killed. I think you generally should not try not to take a turret down before level 9 (on the exception of mid) because they might freeze and if you go to CS the jungler might gank you. You need tier 1 boots and wards to be able to safely go past the first turret early. So the next best thing early is Dragon.

Isn't it possible to make the shield bigger by getting items that offer shields too to make his shield from W harder to destroy? The shield that's first cast's first depleted. Right?
: If you combine 3 runes you get 1 of the next teir. I did that with my teir 3 and 2 runes and by the end got like 2 or 3 teir 3. I dont use them but theyre the same teir as the rest and they waste less space than 9 lower teirs ones. Funnily enough I have 10 flat mr runes because of it.
I used to spam tier 1 runes for 15 IP into the Rune Combiner to get tier 3 runes for just 375 IP. I've been lucky with that, I got a lot of Quints and now I have 50 Quints in total.

: Double APC meta with them both building WOTA was fun, due to the strange way it stacked giving the two apc's 40% spell vamp while in range of each other :P
Yeah that still happens with some aura buffs. I knew it was a really good item to buy at the time so I always bought it on Lulu which I played as support. It also had 20 AP on the aura if I remember correctly.

I mainly miss the old WotA with that aura it had granting your entire team 20% spellvamp.
: Patch 4.19 is up and bug is still active.
I got it solved for now, here's how: You don't get into champion select, so the bug happens. 1. You go press Play and try to queue up again, it warns you're already in a game. 2. Then go into the shop. Repeat 1 and 2 until it worked to get into champion select. After I did that a few times to fix it it doesn't happen anymore.

: I'm looking into a number of potential changes for her in the patch after this next one. The missile speed was actually put in so you could see how many hits you got on Q and then choose whether or not to heal an ally before they reached you (because they heal more when you're at lower health) as a small optimization. Also, having them move too fast would disrupt a lot of the clarity of the enemy seeing whether or not they were hit and where Soraka's healing is coming from. We could possibly speed them up some, but I'm not sure if that's the place I really would want to buff Soraka. Right now I'm primarily looking at her E cooldown (possibly raising it), her W range (possible increasing it) and her Q cast paradigm (changing it to fixed travel time instead of variable depending on distance. this would be a nerf at close range but a buff at far ranges and will also increase how understandable/usable the spell is for a number of players). All of this is tentative though, but those are the things I'm looking at primarily. She might not need any of that at all but we will be testing some changes. I'm more concerned with usability/fairness than power right now because it's hard to get a good power read with all of the preseason changes being tested right now. For instance, with the new Dragon granting increasing buffs, Soraka is naturally more powerful because she allows certain junglers to take dragon extremely early with her heals.
I think you should consider sticking a healing percentage on her passive on W because as she is now, buying health on her is actually hurting her more than helping because the restoring health **percentage** from the passive on W gets lower the more health she has, as she is now. Ruby Sightstone is currently a horrible item on her because of the health it gives. Please, either give her flat health costs or % healing on the passive on W.
: are AD support
Best AD support would be AD caster Jinx. I played it and it works, get Spellthief's Edge for the gold and true damage and just spam Zap and max it first, it does a lot of damage and not too hard to hit consistently with. Or if the lane goes bad, max Q first for easy Spellthief's Edge cash and damage with rockets. The Chompers are great too as cc and do DoT, making it use all Spellthief Edge charges nearly at once. And yes you do sell it later on. Build I used in random order: Manamune - Guardian Angel - Lucidity boots - Essence Reaver - Ruby Sightstone - Last Whisper OR Ghostblade
Psykova (NA)
: What should I do in 4v5 situations
Try to keep vision on them, maybe upgrade ward trinket early? Try to obtain all experience you can get. (jungler afk? Someone should go jungle and let the support solo lane) Damage turrets whenever you can. Once you get a significant lead on levels (only 4 ppl get all the xp available after all) you can probably win the game. But it'd be still hard to pull off and sometimes nearly impossible.
: [GAMEPLAY] HOW IS THIS STILL NOT FIXED
Yesterday a Fiddlesticks used Drain on me, while that Drain was working I used my ult (Malzahar) and he kept on draining me while I was ulting him, killing me in the process. After I respawned (couple of seconds deathtimer) my ultimate was again off cooldown, while it's total was 96 seconds cooldown. I really thought that was odd and not possible.
: Isn't teemo a champion though? So yeah, uh it does work on him.
When I replied this I thought it was an active from an item, afterwards I found out it isn't but forgot to change it here. My bad.
: Smiting Teemo is now possible on PBE
What he says isn't true, lol. (I think some don't realize) > Upgrades > Hunter's Machete now upgrades into 4 items that amplify or change your Smite ability - depending on what overarching Jungle Strategy you want to do: Gank, Invade, Fast Clear, or Counterjungle > > Stalker's Blade > 1. After killing 3 monsters, you can smite ~~Teemo~~ enemy champions, dealing a small amount of true damage and reducing their movement speed by 50% for 2 seconds.
: Not Getting My Hexakill Icon
: Moonflair Spellblade
With that I think you'd get tanks with: Ninja Tabi Boots Rod of Ages Moonflair Spellblade Liandry's Torment Void Staff Guardian Angel With a build like that you have everything.
: > Riot should offer an alternative for the Sightstone and Ruby Sightstone since they remade Soraka to have a skill costing 10% of her health. Yeah, %health is pretty BS. There's no way to itemize any better for it. She has Starcall to heal her health, but she has to get into near melee range to guarantee hitting. If she's in melee range after casting a few heals, she'll just get blown up because she has no health left.
Not really because you can just use the AoE silence and predict how they'll run out of it, and chain a starcall to that location for a fairly guaranteed hit. She's currently forced to build a lot of AP to make her heal more powerful, she needs items without health because it hurts her more than it does good on her and because she won't build health, she needs defensive items, preferably with AP. Meaning she's currently a champion that is a support and is forced to support, however can't build as a support and has to build as an AP mid. So as she is now, I'd build her with Hourglass, Abyssal Scepter, Rabadon's Deathcap, Lucidity boots, Guardian Angel and Athene's Unholy Grail. And upgrade the ward trinket + request someone else to do the same.
: This is garbage, smurfs have killed new players.
One simple fix is to have an option when you first log in on a new account: **I'm a new player to League of Legends** *Choose this option and you'll receive 50% more IP but 34% less XP until level 20* **I'm not a new player to League of Legends** *Choose this option and you'll receive 50% more XP but 34% less IP until level 20* This'll make smurfs likely for choosing the last option. And yes it might be a bad idea but I don't care because someone might come up with a good one when reading this.
: Did you know-
Or it would be Tisgana and Mortana.
: New Sightstones
Riot should offer an alternative for the Sightstone and Ruby Sightstone since they remade Soraka to have a skill costing 10% of her health.
