Requiem just looks at literally any non-dead Champion and puts a debuff on it, Wish restores their HP (or attempts to, in the case of a Kindred R). You have to be invulnerable or immune to any damage effects, including non-targeted ones, to evade Requiem.

I would go damage heavy for sure. You'll start to see situations where healing, shielding and buffing are needed as you go higher, but you shouldn't feel forced to play those. My personal favorite is Zyra, but sona is perhaps an easier (and safer late game) choice.

In the interest of being fair and objective, I do think they made an effort to release more than every before. We got pyke, and Zoe, akali rework, an ezreal update, yuumi, ... updates to urf, aram balance tuning, nexus blitz, the odyssey mission set, the star guardian invasion mode, dark star thresh mode,... We've gotten more new, original content than we have in a long time. I don't have the numbers to back it up, but I'm going to assume these modes were temporary because of the URF Effect; people tend to quit or take long breaks from the main modes whenever urf comes back and they don't always return (or at least, not immediately) when it leaves. They may be trying to preserve the "core experience", while still delivering new content. I'm kind of surprised they don't leave them up, or take the starcraft 2 approach of a making an arcade mode, where all of these custom experiences can be built and played with select friends.

I agree with a ton of things you said. Overall, i think a lot of these problems come from trying to appeal to the "majority" of the playerbase. It's understandable, because at the end of the day they need to monetize the game if it can continue to grow. Clash? It won't come back until people demand it on reddit. TT? Support for it is largely dead, to the point where you don't even gain rewards for playing it (event passes, mastery tokens and s ranks, etc). They are making this decision consciously so they can finally justify getting rid of the game mode. The practice tool is actually quite nice, but they got a "good enough" product and then stopped updating it almost entirely (the last change I saw was a patch that removed the ability to kill the teemo practice dummies, which I was able to do previously in order to test mejai's numbers. They also never announced this, and I just discovered that this silently removed one day much to my dismay). Us players who have been around a long time all kind of yearn for the good old days, but with how much the game has grown we are now the minority. Overall, our opinions just don't matter as much anymore. Riot is growth focused, not retention focused. I fully believe that this is also one of the major reasons why the level system was implemented in the first place; they know that there really isn't much to show off for committed, frequent players.

I feel like this might just be an oversight... I can't really see any logical reason not to include TT games in the pass. It makes even less sense to me when I start thinking about who the most powerful champs in that mode are... Ahri, Alistar, Lux, Karma, Mordekaiser, Katarina, Graves,.... All of these champs are getting MSI skins, MSI chromas, upcoming battle academia skins or VGU's. From a purely financial standpoint, Riot is leaving money on the table by NOT supporting the TT mode with the event pass.

I can quite literally get a level 1 accounts, grind it to the point where I can play coop and then get a chat restrict in my very first co-op game. You just have to know the exact things the algorithm is looking for and put them in a sufficient number of times. I have no idea what you mean by ZT; zero-tolerance? Regardless, it is irrelevant. Chat restricts are an automated process, triggered by a combination of reports and an automated yes/no generated by a machine learning algorithm that looks for certain features in the pre,during, and post game chat logs to determine whether you have met the criteria it is looking for.

You'd have to show a pattern of MILD toxicity over many games to receive it. You may had only been shown one SAMPLE of your mildly toxic game, but that does not mean you haven't been mildly toxic in many other games not shown on that report card. I repeat the word MILD because if you were anything more severe than mild, you'd get 14-day ban. On that same note, if the people you reported haven't been toxic in any other games they play (you cannot possibly know their account toxicity history), then they can get away with one off game just like you did the many games before this one. That is on top of the unreliability of those notification. All that to say, you cannot possibly know if they got punished or not and also they fact that yes, they can get away with it if their account toxicity history is low.

I don't know looks totally consistent with what I got chat restricts for. I would be completely amazed if you get it overturned. My solution was to stop talking altogether. Not the best move to build community, but that doesn't seem to be the direction riot wants to take.

Level means nothing in this game. It is only a number that says how long that account has been playing. A challenger on a level 1 account can beat a level 500 who is plat. One account at level 200 is not necessarily better than a person who is level 50 on 4 separate accounts. Let me say this again so you understand as clearly as possible. Skill and level ARE NOT THE SAME AND HAVE ALMOST NO RELATIONSHIP TO EACH OTHER

I would love the the idea of a "forgetful" debuff. I have two ideas, but I'm not sure which would make more sense. 1. Scrambles abilities to be on different keys. Ult goes to Q, w becomes E, etc. 2. Puts an enemy ability on cooldown (makes you FORGET you have it!) 2 would be easier to implement, but If you just make it their ultimate you basically become a new version of sylas. It would be kind of neat if it randomly picked an ability from the ones currently off cooldown and reset it. Or maybe you could have the debuff disable the ability to use active items? You could apply it and they would be unable to zhonyas, redemption, protobelt, twin shadows, etc.
: Am I the only one who thinks Celerity is still absolute garbage?
Feels great situationally, especially when i can stack it with other effects. Celerity on ryze, or on predator hecarim, or on any champ building swifties. Juking everything like a madman. Would take it more on things like rammus or skarner, but there's too many better options in other trees right now.

This is my main account I'm posting from btw That isn't true unfortunately;winning=climbing, but Improvement and winning are not the same thing, and realizing this was one of the keys that allowed me to maintain a healthy approach to the game despite all the challenges. I'll definitely add you though, because it seems like you really enjoy going deep on a single champion to learn the ins and outs and i respect that. Always need more sparring partners!

I think it's amazing that all LP changes aren't scaled down when an AFK occurs. I shouldn't get the same amount of LP when I win a 5v4; I didn't have to work as hard. Conversely, I shouldn't lose as much when I am put at a significant disadvantage due to forces outside of my control.

100 times this. The graphics on her look great, but there was certain amount of funny playfulness with how ridiculous the sirens were!

It means you're already playing well enough that you stand a good chance against these players if you use your head, be confident and make the play. Conversely, if you get in a game which is kind of a stomp, test some of your less confident skills. Do you know how to towerdive? Well go for it, and see what happens. You might surprise yourself just how aggressive you can be.

Honestly, the biggest problem right now is how easily honor is lost but how hard it is to gain. For example, a single chat restriction brought me to honor zero. However, I only acheived honor 1 again from that point after 1500 games. That's a system that discourages first offense, NOT encouraging reform. Once you're there and you realize how futile getting out is, you just stop caring about the system altogether. Just to be clear, I had every single obtainable honor ribbon under the old system, So I'm not exactly a blemish on the community. What riot doesn't seem to understand is that this system doesn't lead to reform; it leads to people simply unplugging altogether. You'll just get a larger and larger community that says less and less.

This is why I never say anything anymore. To be completely honest, I don't even say gg if the game was clearly unmatched. The whole idea that it was a "good game" is just offensive (in my opinion) if one player is clearly outclassed in every single way. I will however, give a "wp" if a particular skirmish was objectively well fought by both sides regardless of who wins.

I also have this exact same issue; started up right around the time the new client was being rolled out. On my end it is definitely a CPU issue. Only happens when I'm interacting with multiple windows at once and threads get reallocated away from the client temporarily.

I mean, I like and understand the idea. But I wouldn't want the extra info crowding my screen in an important situation and I can already get a decent enough estimate from my teams heads on the minimap.
