Having the ability to come back off a game because you outplayed the enemy is nice something that died a while ago with league. But my main concern is that hots and by extension blizzard just does things smarter than riot in a lot of instances I know some of their games get flak but often its pretty exaggerated, blizz implements stuff in quality and I can't say the same for riot in anything outside the skin and animation departments. Anatera (NA) : Riot and the balance team have become supremely arrogant. They constantly ignore feedback and criticism. Why else would they spend more time on Reddit than on these boards? Oh that's right, the League subreddit is so heavily moderated, you never ever see anything negative about Riot on there. You can try posting on there, but it'll last MAYBE half an hour. AeroWaffle (NA) : CC in WoW is much more plentiful, to the point where if diminishing returns were not a thing a single person could keep someone chain-CC'ed near indefinitely. Wow doesn't have complete diminishing returns even with the massive amount of CC, it's only diminishing between similar spells (Roots causes diminishing returns on roots, stun on stun, etc). While there's CC in League, a vast majority of the CC can miss (skillshots) or give the target the opportunity to avoid it in some way (delayed effect, tether, stacking mechanic, etc). Riot has been phasing out targeted, unavoidable hard CC a fair bit.
