Mmr is just a system allowing you to prove yourself, you do well, it adjusts who you play against accordingly until you are where you belong. It doesn't decide if you win games! You do! If you are better than your opponent, your MMR will increase (and so will the skill level of the people you go against) that is what keeps the game fair and why you don't get stuck playing with diamonds, masters and challenger players as a gold player. You are put against other golds, and if you suceed you can try even higher than that! if you keep succeeding, you'll climb, skip divisions, and the people you beat in the past will get to face people their own skill level.

Also like, i feel this should have been a one or the other kind of nerf. too strong? up the mana cost, OR cut the DMG. Both at the same time is just an instant gut of this champ.

Volibear charging your back line? E+attack. That darned-blasted Ezreal about to get away with 40 health AGAIN? Q+attack. She's a wonderful poker/healer in lane, which brings the best of two worlds - something many supports cannot take credit for. She can deny tower dives with her W and her ultimate. That shield is deceptively strong. She can set up a gank quite well post level 3 (assuming you take E last like most people) with her slow + haste, which nobody EVER expects. I can go on. ...I'm not sure Sona is the problem here.

This, everything here. Sona is not as simple as you think, she has game changing abilities in her power chords.

I personally strongly disagree with this post. I've been playing sona as long as i've been playing league, sona is my highest mastery and most played each season(i'm a D5 sup main). Sona is one of the most unique supports in the game, a reason for choosing her is not her unrivaled ability to sustain a single person (such as janna, soraka, lulu) but instead offer slightly weaker support to a group, in several ways. if she was reworked to be supports that only offer single target she would literally just be stronger/weaker versions of soraka or lulu, in that case we'd just have to play the meta. This thinking reminds me of how i feel about Aurelion Sol, you can love a champs idea, lore, appearance, but if you don't jive with its gameplay it's just not for you. I don't think you can really love sona if you only love the idea of her appearance/lore and not her execution. I personally love everything about her including her mechanics/gameplay, its an experience you can't get from any other support in the game.

I don't really like the aegis and redemption change. It's frustrating that you're giving peely, tanky supports better shields than actual shield supports, while allowing them the tankiness to stay alive themselves. Now a thresh support could do a better job keeping your adc alive from a zed than a sona. Removing health from redemption is a lose lose for such champs, super squishy, no mitigation. You can't keep your team alive if you're dead. Sona and soraka get especially screwed, while blitz and thresh get buffed again

: Updated Client Switchover: Out with the Old, In with the New
The client for me, tested and played yesterday is STILL incredibly laggy, the after game screen takes forever to load (but apparently just for me, as people had already talked and left by the time i get in). I don't understand, why would you force something like this upon people. my computer could always run league perfectly and now it struggles to do basic things meaning i miss champ selects, making masteries and editing them is so difficult and I never feel like i have enough time. I really wish you wouldn't rip the legacy client out of our hands and saying "take this! it's better!" when for most of us, it really isn't a 'better' thing and is a huge quality of life issue with the game.

I love how last patch they said "don't worry guys we know kogs winrate is low from the change but it's okay, we're going to buff him soon!" while i'm just looking at Kalista's EVEN lower winrate for the past how many patches and they don't say or do anything :^) FeelsBadMan
