: Mods are garbage
They blocked a post of mine for saying someone "crap in your wheaties?" ... like really? Yet on Facebook they posted a big ol picture saying GG EZ mocking the fact that they have the hottest garbage troll int racist sexist game in existence. Like really? Edit: Let me be clear: the official League account wrote GG EZ on as their post. You the thing we can get punished for.
: Making Poro King a random was terrible idea.
Yeah... its like League is trying so hard to disappoint us lately. Remove all the maps they can. Then release Poro King for what is surely like 5 days because they HATE hosting anything more than a few days if it isn't called Summoners Rift. But playing off ARAM's pool kind of sucks since they really diluted your champion pool with a billion free champs too. Anyways.. /rant over

Bro I got the same report for saying something like "dang someone crapped in your wheaties.." so you know. Welcome to Rito nanny state. You can be racist, you just can't tell racists to stfu or you gonna be chat banned. Just like real lif.. oh wait.

: Twisted Treeline Icons?
Yeah I was waiting.. don't think I've seen anything and kind of gave up. Much like this game. They stop doing rotating game modes. They drop every map except Summoners Rift and a couple crap RNG modes. I'm desperately clinging onto ten years of mostly loving this game but its apparent the love isn't being returned. For the very first time in my life I'm installing DOTA and wondering if I'll like it more.

: Riot's Focus Has Shifted
Yeah you aren't the only one to say this. Look around the forums its a daily sentiment.. just nice to see this one hover around the top for once because its so dang true. Any other game after this many years would have a bunch of cool custom game modes, new maps, etc. etc. What does Rito do to League? Literally close down every single every other way to play the game except one map. Like I can't even put into words how much that drives me absolutely crazy. We have had so many great custom modes over the years and yet we are stuck now with 1.) Summoners Rift (yeah sorry a ton of us are sick and tired of that map after ten years); ARAM (yea fun when RNG doesn't make it 90% impossible to win like once every three games or so).... nothing else. That is absolutely pathetic for a multi-BILLION dollar a year company. Pathetic and nothing else.

I cant even log into my support tickets to convers with riot ... If not a email change then something must be done for it as this is quite silly. I agree with you that they must set up a backup account option, but unfortunately as of yet they haven't. If you're looking for a company that thinks things through this is not it. They haven't done anything in the way of making a meaningful effort to help players keep their accounts as long as possible, because this company is in the business of "if they lose their account good, they'll have to start a new one and pay us more money." That has been their philosophy since about season 3, which is why you're seeing everyone and their mother getting banned now, because they want as few people to have their accounts permanently as possible.

This is some dang truth right there that the white knights won't admit is happening and other players don't realize. But then longtime old players seem of little interest to Rito. Honestly very little seems to matter to Rito unless it starts with "Summoners" and ends with "Rift."

No. Riot deleted TT because it was not on their upcoming politic/goals. They want with the arrival of every new games to make a ""clean"" platform/launcher. The TT being an old map and not reflecting what is to them the real league of legends they just decided to delete it with no other reasons (Or actualy, it free some space in the league client with TFT now being in). However, i cant tell why did riot not try to do anything for that mode over the last years (last patch was season5 i think). I can also mention the fact, yes fact, that since they annouced 3v3 removal mounthes ago they literaly did everything they could to kill it raw. They retired the rank restriction meaning a challenger tier player could duo an iron tier player; wich obviously was abused by 90% of the high elo ladder, making high elo games impossible/terrible. But because this was not enough they also retired the message that would warn you when you had to play your decay games with caused many (MANY) master+ players to decay without being warned, by surprise. They also made sure to not reply to anyone trying to do anything for the map and even kept deleting posts on Reddit that explained the current state of TT and what should be done etc (some even hitted front page of Reddit). etc etc etc

They did their best to ignore it. But this is the same company that makes 2 billion dollars in profit a year but can't afford to host rotating game modes more than twice a year now. Pathetic really. My love for this game is fading so fast.....
: Okay, fine, Riot. Take your TT away. But we need something in its place.
I agree. But nothing will happen. Riot only seems to understand how to support Summoners Rift. And now the RNG crapfest that is TFT. ARAM is sometimes fun but absolutely nowhere near the skill level of TT or SR, if you roll a crap team comp is a 10 minutes frustrating loss. Basically I am so close, after ten years, of abandoning the game and moving on. Will anyone care? Nah. But Riot is literally doing everything they can to make the game more boring, less play modes, more RNG. And for the records Riot posts over 1.5 BILLION DOLLARS profit annually.. Maybe over 2 billion now. They could have hyped/balanced/updated Twisted Treeline but neglected it to death instead.
: Bring Twisted Treeline back
Man I wish they would.. I have BARELY touched Summoners Rift in ten years except for RGM. Tonight was my first normals Summoners Rift in like 6 seasons and it was SO. SLOW. FFFFFFFFFF.
: 1) It had a rework and several patches dedicated to it, not just "one patch". 2) TT got more attention than ARAM did until recently. ARAM has *always* been more popular, however.
This is the like the most incorrect statement in the history of statements. Twisted Treeline was ignored into oblivion. For the records Riot is well over a billion dollar company EACH YEAR. They neglected this. They neglected rotating game modes. Every other game on tye planet manages to host more than 2 maps at a time but it seems to confuse the crap out of one of the richest gaming companies ever to exist.

: I just played a game of TT to check it out again and god I'm happy that its getting removed. I literally have a full adc team with my twitch going 0/10/1, while making me 2v1 in my own jungle. I actually hate this gamemode. You would think it would be a bit more based on personal play than normal league because theres three players compared to five, but its the exact opposite. Every fight comes down to man advantage and not personal skill or items or anything else.

Every fight comes down to man advantage and not personal skill or items or anything else. I respectfully disagree. You have to know its actually quite different from Summoners Rift. Stale meta aside, its very gank-centric. Mobility is king here, or some survivability. Farming phase is very short to non-existent in most matches, and map awareness needs to be 110% because wards don't exist. Its a lot of fun once you learn it.. and the additional objectives with the two altars add to the fun.. instead of just mindless farming 10 minutes, then occasionally dueling over drag and Baron, you just are constantly trying to due for control of two points and edge out the other team in nonstop team fights. But its not for everyone.. and Rito neglected it.. and now its gone. So I guess its a moot point.
: I had a lot of anxiety about playing against others. So one of my friends took me to treeline to teach me that it was okay to play however I wanted. When I was 'young', there was no cemented meta. Any champion worked. Any play could happen. I learned how to come back, how to rotate, how to belief in myself and not be afraid of dying to another player. If I could conquer my insecurity or tilt I could pull off a comeback or even make a lead. With over 3k games in the mode, it is still my favourite map ever released even though I have long outgrown my shyness. My best friends I ever made in league were made on this map...and they're gone now, taken by life's ups and downs into the real world. When I lay the map to rest, it is like finally closing the book on those close friendships I'll never experience again, the final goodbye. I've been playing terribly for weeks with this knowledge looming in the back of my mind, and even abandoned the last of my token grind to spend time there. But here we are, graveside of the mode. It sucks that the people who are so few and far between. Season 10 better be good. Because TFT isn't worth this, to me.

This map has been my go-to for the better part of the past ten years. Now I'm forced to either play Summoners Rift or ARAM.. or just retire from League. But ten years is a long time and a lot of great memories.

: played a game of treeline as re-worked Mordekaiser jungle. we lost the early game heavily, and by 15 minutes they had pushed up to our inhibs. slowly and surely i had started amassing gold and items, before they knew it was 25 minutes in and i was still holding the base. time went on, the game went over the 40min mark, i had started killing the enemies in 1 v 2's and was taking turrets. then at 50 minutes in i was finaly full build:{{item:1401}} {{item:3090}} {{item:3151}} {{item:3116}} {{item:3065}} {{item:3170}} in a final push, my teammate Renekton pushed bot (the other went AFK 10 minutes ago) i took top, and fought the entire enemy team SOLO their team consisted out of a Graves, Nidalee and a last enemy that wasn't worth remembering. i started the fight, and once i dropped to 50% i ulted nidalee, killed her and healed back up to 80% HP, afterwards mopping the floor with graves and their last teammates was easy. i killed the inhib, and struck down the nexus. winning the game at 55 minutes in. good memories, gooooood memories..... rest in piece treeline, may the wailing souls and creaking tree barks finally find some measure of rest.

Sounds pretty good man. I had a few of those comeback matches that was like 2v3 and just so much fun to grind out like 45 minutes and see the tide slowly turn :)

: ~~~ Twisted Treeline Farewell Post ~~~
Since I posted this, I'll be the one to kick it off. Hopefully not the last. As a farewell I decided to pick one of my favorite champs (Lux), even those she is firmly in bottom tier of ratings for the map and see if I could make her work. But then I started winning. I discovered that at least in my hands, in normals, she is OP af.... 7 matches, all wins, all S scores (except one with A+) .... ! https://imgur.com/ciD0HBl
