: I don't understand why this is getting downvoted
If I had to guess, it's because _most_ LoL players only know how to _use_ (see: operate) a computer, and have never personally had to rectify more serious security issues. I don't take chances with this stuff anymore. No more sweeping small things under a rug and pretending I don't see them, because even small things can be symptoms of a much larger issue.
: First you told the game to keep you logged in which is why it automatically logs you in and all you have to do is click x and log out without losing it. Also the new design might not have your password and username stored so just calm down and look it to it a little more before making big accusations.
Either you didn't read the post or you're trolling- I always made sure NOT to tell it to log in automatically. I don't want it to keep me logged in, that's the whole point. I also will absolutely not take the risk on a "might" after having made those mistakes with other games years ago. If I see a tree branch that looks diseased, I cut it off to save the tree, even if it "might" not have infected the rest of the tree.

: League Doesn't Have to be Toxic
One could argue that certain aspects of League of Legends promote toxicity. **AFKs.** The game has become so self-important that if you have to step away from the game for even a moment, you're going to be demonized and flamed by your teammates, and the game's design supports their side. **No AI/bot to take over for you if you have to leave or get D/C'd, no ability to have another player drop-in and replace you, and no pause function outside of the largest-scale tournaments.** Have kids or pets that need attention? Too bad. Your grandma fall down and needs help? Leave her be. Power outage? Reported. Et cetera, et cetera. Your reasons don't matter because the game is obviously more important. **REPORTS.** You are actively advised to report someone if they make you feel the slightest bit uncomfortable. It is, or was, one of the tips that appeared on the loading screen before a match. Reports used to be taken more seriously, for use when a player did something against the ToS or Summoner's Code, now you're encouraged to report every little thing that **offended** you. I can only guess as to how we got here. No one seems to know what the Summoner's Code is to begin with, let alone be able to tell me what's in it- that's a part of the problem right there. https://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/game-info/get-started/summoners-code/ Not to mention the questionable balance choices that prioritize the top 1% of the playerbase and the popular champs with new skins, the unhealthy champion designs of recent years, the idolization of live streamers with seriously narcissistic personalities, and don't get me started on Tencent buying out Riot and Riot's subsequent descent to greedy madness: (from a Polygon article) _"Now, thanks to Tencent's purchase, members of the studio will be able to participate in a "cash-based incentive program" that rewards them based on the company's overall success."_ No wonder they keep shoving more and more micro-transactions down our throats instead of improving the game, the bigger their numbers are at the end of the quarter, the bigger their bonus will be.
: What's one thing that Riot did right or you like?
A change I think was a good idea, even though I preferred the older version: **Changed loading screens to not show individual loading bars.** This reduced people's ability to immediately single out specific players and harass them for their computer not loading fast enough for the other players' liking. A small step toward reducing toxicity.

: I lost my promo because of your bugged client.... AGAIN
Yeah that's why I stopped reporting people who never connect too, the game's so broken that I just feel bad for them more than anything.
: Now explain why Lulu's passive doesn't using that logic.
Because, unlike Bard's passive, Lulu's passive has a **100%** up time. Pix attacks every time Lulu uses her basic attack, so she can just rail on you. Bard's passive consumes his Meeps, and he has to wait between **8 to 4** seconds (scaling with number of chimes collected) for another one to spawn so he can throw it. Bard has some burst, but once that's used up, he's got nothing else. Lulu has a lot more utility she can follow up with compared to Bard. IMO that is why Riot decided to balance it the way they did. As a Bard player, I personally wouldn't mind if they did change it, because I think Electrocute isn't as good as it used to be on Bard (too many absurdly mobile champs that aren't as easy to hit). It's fun in ARAM, but for the Rift I personally take Guardian or Comet over Electrocute in most cases, as they give me more consistent results.
koshkyra (NA)
: What is this double standard?
It's not a bug, nor an "empowered auto" per se. Rather than empowering his auto attack, Bard's passive let's Bard occasionally fire an **additional** projectile (a Meep). This additional projectile is what procs the electrocute. The LoL wiki doesn't list Bard under "champs with empowered autos" for this reason. MF and Lux's empowered auto attacks do not fire additional projectiles, so they wouldn't proc the third hit needed for electrocute. As for whether or not Bard needs nerfs right now? Probably not. He sits at around a 2% play rate (so it's mostly Bard mains playing Bard right now), and a 50% win rate, so Riot probably won't do anything about it. (stats from champion.gg)
: Game modes won't come back, here is why:
I rank EA lower only because they killed off Dawngate (never forgive, never forget), but the Riot Games of _today_ is definitely down there in the scummy business practice cesspool with EA, Activision, Bioware, Bethesda, Blizzard, etc.
: I Demand A Human
What really gets my Gromp is that after I report someone, the Riot matchmaking is like, "OK! Let's put you on the same team as them for the next 2 matches as well!" Instead of having something sensible like a **queue bias** that prevents players from being queued with the player they just reported, you have to either dodge (which means _you_ then get put on time out for refusing to play with that player), or mute them and hope for the best that your promotional match goes in your favor (because dodging those is instant loss anyway). Why the heck is there still no queue bias against reported players??? But what do I care, I stopped playing ranked because of all the toxicity and trolls.

Wish they'd make a champ similar to Professor McGonagall from the Harry Potter series. She may be a wrinkly old lady but she's still very charming, plus she's witty and powerful. There is a distinct lack of snarky old lady quips in LoL, and I would like this to be fixed xD. Like, an actually old looking old lady, not the "she's over 18, I swear!", old ladies. Rito needs to step out of their comfort zone, they can _afford_ to try something different, even if it doesn't yield Lux level profit.

Too many immature players. I hesitate to say young people, because there *are* some mature younger players out there. It's the people who refuse to accept responsibility for their actions- everything that goes wrong is the fault of someone else, because they, unlike the rest of us plebes, are perfect. Selfish spoiled people, who have to have things their way or they'll grief the team, follow close behind someone not doing anything, run it down and give free kills, tell the enemy team where the rest of us are in all chat, then tell their "teammates" to stop trolling and int-ing (I met this particular lovely individual earlier today, actually.). After having read the article, my understanding is that Ms. Roseboro will be helping the Riot team with their hiring, recruiting and training processes due to a toxic atmosphere in the League of Legends studios itself. They mainly want to fix the frat boy behavior that's prevalent in the studio, by the looks of the original Kotaku article. She is not a game developer and there's no indication, as of right now, that she will have any say over the game's development at all. Put the pitchforks down until we get more information. : Matchmaking and the game server are different services, which added in with an unstable connection could cause a lot of uncertainty. Your best bet would be to run through the steps in the [connection issues](https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/201752664-Troubleshooting-Connection-Issues) guide to help fix up whatever is causing this. Be sure to test it out a few times in a custom game though to make sure everything has smooths out.
Lag report BETA tells me 98/100. Had no prior issues with the game today, even after patching. Ping consistently around 33 ms outside of this one game. I've also checked other league sites' Live game function, and it says the match has been going for over an hour now, still being played, apparently? Unless the other players were also disconnected from it. I don't know any of them, so can't verify.
: Problem is, I already patched it today and played a game. So now seeing it patching again and suddenly asking for permissions feels rather odd to me.
Your second image where it says desktop icons will be updated makes me fairly certain it's just updating your client to the new one, that's most likely the main reason for all the ToS stuff popping up. It has to update the client to new one before it can patch the game itself. There may be a lot of updates to get through, it's been a while since new client was released. *Since the post title says computer restarted, it's possible your computer system restored itself to an older version?
: Game didnt respond in loading screen > PC restarted > suddenly ToS screen?
Don't panic. This is normal, sometimes patches change things in the ToS, so you have to "re-read" it and accept the changes. The update in background is how the newer client patches.

: I checked out your 1/0/24 match, you barely placed a dozen or so wards in a 30 minute match. Up your vision game. You were also behind in gold that match. With Frost Queen you need to be harassing more for extra gold, or switch to coin. Coin is good too. Your stats look good otherwise, but maybe have some fun abusing the Ardent Censer before they nerf it?
Upon further research(because I'm bored and nosey), it appears you may be staying in lane too long to start with, based off of information on certain league related sites. That info may have been wrong of course, so if so, please ignore this. As soon as you have around 800 to 1000 gold, you should probably back and upgrade your gold item, maybe buy some boots, a control ward, then get back to lane. After getting 800 or so more gold, you back for the sightstone(and I recommend switching to red trinket then too). Hardly a pro, but there's my two cents.

: Elderwood Kindred Concept Art
Eh. It's more of a copy/paste of the Elderwood Bard onto Kindred. I'm not saying that's a bad thing(love me some Bard), but each skin should be special to each champ- even skin lines with certain themes keep each skin fairly unique. This is just way too similar to Bard's to make it into the game, imo. Lamb also looks more like a mage from Magicka or Final Fantasy in this than an archer lol. The rest is just me ranting about kindred skins, feel free to skip: I could see Kindred getting a Blood Moon skin, as masks are popular with BM skins. Valentine's day skin maybe, Reverse skin HOPEFULLY(i want this so bad), Headhunter skin maybe, a dark assassin-like skin would be cool(like Nightblade Irelia, Nightraven Fiora, Assassin Master Yi), a spooky Spectral skin for Halloween would be ok too....

I often draw a blank when shown the honor screen, trying to remember who was most helpful and whatnot. If possible, it would be great to be able to see post match screen before deciding who to give honor to. Alternatively you could have little accolades appear on the honor screen, so-and-so had highest kill participation(%), some guy had the highest creep score(#), generic player A had most turrets/objectives taken(#), this other dude had most assists(#), etc. - something to that effect?

: [Champion Concept] Vaso'Lacam 'The Unseen'
The "E: Shock Grenade" doesn't make sense thematically for him to have, a smoke grenade perhaps(since he's the unseen), but not a shocker. If he has a billy club, or one of his arms was corrupted into a spiky club or something, he can whip it out and stun people with it at close range. That might make more sense, if you really want him to have the stun. The "W: No Escape" probably should not have a stun on it. A root or slowing effect might be better here, as a dagger is not really a stunning weapon, though it can cut hamstrings to slow, or impale their feet to the ground to root the target. Again, if he had a club or something to stun with that'd be different. My main gripe here is that void creatures are supposed to be twisted horrors/monstrous critters for the most part, but you want him to look almost completely human, including having clothing. If he were instead corrupted by the void like Kassadin, that may be more appropriate, or just changing his appearance to one much more monstrous and void-like. There's also the option of changing his origin a bit and not having him be void related. Ideas of how he could look(from other games), that are humanoid, but not straight up human: https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/236x/56/41/e7/5641e7d6b4aa847ae52b7be6c761826a.jpg http://pm1.narvii.com/5843/3fe23798a14ed3443667b7348ee192faee8aeda6_hq.jpg https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/dc/c8/4a/dcc84a418c5f98d4e09fed638a1f80a8.jpg
: Adrasta, Demacia's Shame
Just throwing a couple ideas out there: Being an executioner, she could do with at least one "deals more damage the less HP the target has" skill of some kind, at least in my opinion. Something related to extra damage against cc'd enemies could be good too, as execution victims are often tied up/bound in some way to prevent them escaping their fate.
: Can't do my normal full run-down at the moment (working on a project myself right now), but I wanted to pop in to say and this is a REALLY awesome concept. I especially love the Q as a combination projectile/vision tool, and it works fantastically with the thematic of a creature with eyes everywhere. For me personally, however, I'd rather see this creature be more monstrous, and maybe have the eyes floating around him/her/it -- this makes the throwing animation a little clearer, and also explains why they eyes can float in position. My big concern is whether or not this grants him too much vision -- if it's on an long enough cooldown to grant vision like a ward then it's useless as a harassing tool, and if it's the opposite it could be overpowered for the amount of consistent vision it can grant. You could give it a VERY limited vision range though, and allow a warning if it's destroyed. Then you could make a Shroom-like field to grant serious vision, or use them as projectiles. Might offer the needed amount of counterplay then, and still be super useful in places like bushes to give surprise vision.

The eyes that open, pop out and walk around on little stalks, following Gol'Kuul like twisted little Bard Meeps from nasty land, but still only up to 7 of them. When he throws a Q, he really throws one, and it either bursts on enemies or implants itself in the ground to spy on a small area. Plus, when he shields an ally the little eye could implant itself on the ally/himself until it "dies". Eww. I like it. The Q eye's ward function could have a much faster decay rate than trinket wards, and reducing their vision range seems fair to allow him to maintain some harass potential. Thanks for the input, good stuff!

Tahm Kench, Alistar, Leona, Taric, Braum- none of these guys tend to focus on focusing mana regen items over others. If he were intended to be a squishier support who stands back more than up front, then I could see it being more of an issue. Alright, fair point, though the items I meant to reffer to were Redemption (basicly a must have on all supports nowadays) and Frozen Heart/Iceborn gauntlet (an item bought by a lot of tanky supports). I guess you're right, that this wouldn't really harm him that much, but I was also trying to look at it from the perspective of him being useless for 7 secs if he ults for engage to fear the entire enemy team and give him a way to get the eyes back faster.

I have several variations of the passive on paper, I just went with the one that seemed safest in terms of design when I posted it, so mixing in some of the other concepts may solve the lack of eyes after an R. I'll have to mix them up a bit and see what it looks like after that- I'm still heavily playing around with his W too, so that may very well lend a hand in resolving the eye shortage issue. Thanks for the input! :)
: The w seems a little lackluster to me. What about an ability where he targets one champion who is feared. after targeting them for ___ seconds, Gol'Kuul gains movement towards them and all basic attack deal magic damage. Wavering on the gap closer, still unsure if he should get one or not. While I intended him to be tankier, he's not intended to be an engage champ, so I'll have to think of a good way to work it in if I do. I have 4 or 5 variations of his passive that I'm trying to decide between lol, the one that I went with originally was the one that felt "safest" design-wise. Once I flesh out his passive a bit more I should be able to give his W a closer look at- that thing about ward interaction perks my interest, will come up with some ideas and see where it takes me, thanks for the input!
: Really like this idea, thought I do have some things to add. Making a support that has no mana greatly reduces the usefulness of a lot, if not most, support items which usually tend to give mana regeneration. I'd say make mana regeneration reduce the eye opening cooldown to mitigate this. The other thing is his E shield. It's a very small shield compared to what most other supports can offer. It should either be a bigger base shield, or alternatively scale with some other stat he builds and be given to BOTH him and an ally.

Add on relic shield's 75, now he's got 650 HP. Add runes and masteries intended for tankier supports and he could have around 700+ HP. 7% of that is about 50, which, for squishier supports would be low(compare Janna's 80, Karma's 70, at rank 1). Given that he's much tankier than them, it seemed more balanced to lower the shield amount initially. Adding scaling to it based off of his bonus health doesn't seem like a bad idea though. With his E, I'm still uncertain how I'd like it to grow as it ranks up, so it's good to talk about it, get some ideas.

Some good points! W did seem kinda of bland, so now it has a very short range jump effect as well. Empowered W now also poisons enemies a little if they attack the clone at close range. Clarified R a bit- R is like a Singed ult in that it is active for 20 seconds or so. All his other abilities gain secondary effects for as long as his ult is active. Also changed the effect of E while R is active so that it activates instantly rather than charging up.
