Ganks; get your lanes snowballing faster than Shyv can, and don't cluster up. Ult and buffed abilities excel against massed targets. Force her to focus on one of you at a time and focus fire her. Also, control dragons. Alot; she gains resistances for each drag killed. It's small, but each one denied makes her comparatively weaker as the game goes on.

Second point; I never realized that, not to mention plenty of tankbusters have readily available abilities to destroy tanks. First point: yeah, but what else are we to build on tanks? Poppy and Sion are probably the only real tanks who benefit from building damage items like {{item:3078}} {{item:3071}} {{item:3053}} etc. Heck, I'm seeing some AP tanks focusing more on AP than tank.
