: Make the units offered go along with the units you have
That's just not how this game is supposed to work. RNG is something you have to play around. If you're not getting your sixth unit, throw some other units up in the meantime that you have more synergy with.

It's still an obscene amount of games/hours regardless.
: Nice numbering. Come at me with that elitist "listen kid" bullshit, and cant even work a fucking computer. xD I got his point. My point is to say this is the definition of entitlement. I agree - each camp should give at least one item. You passed the camp, you earn an item. This is right. If someone else got 2 or 3, then they're lucky. Ok. That's fine. But you're playing the wrong game if your *entire composition* revolves 100% around getting as many items as possible. If you can't build your champions without items, then you're not going to last long enough into the game for them to be important anyway, and good freaking riddance that you dropped out early. If we ran it the way this guy wants, there'd be no challenge - you'd *always* get pretty much *whatever* you wanted, and people would *still* bitch about RNG because "I didn't get a tear for my shojin off that last drop, but that guy has fucking 4 of them REEEE Riot made bad gamemode! 4 items but not the one I needed!" It'd punish the people who know how to play, and it'd make the game less about strategy and *more* about the RNG of who got the better champions/items, because at that point, there's no room for either to balance the other out.

No you wouldn't get all that you wanted if you standardized items. I play Underlords too and even with guaranteed item drops it doesn't take the luck out of the game. It just punishes players who didn't get anything less. It doesn't punish people who know how to play either, it just makes the game feel more fair, even if it doesn't guarantee that the game will be fair due to what items actually drop. I'm not saying that everyone gets the same items, but it makes sense that everyone has the similar item count, with those failing neutral camps probably receiving less. And given that there are item disparities, with some being leaps and bounds better than others, it still rewards lucky players but keeps it so that they don't just run away with the game from the get-go. At the very least, it allows unlucky players to have a chance to make the one or two items that they need to hopefully get back into the game. Making the game more "fair" isn't ruining the game. It doesn't take away from the strategic elements either as it doesn't remove RNG of which champions/items you get stuck with, what strats you use, whether you save for interest or hyper roll, or your positioning abilities. Just like in Underlords where items drops are guaranteed, the skill factor would definitely still there and that 9/10 times the better players will make top 4 regardless of how hard RNG screws them over. In short, unlucky players get punished far less, lucky players get rewarded slightly less, and still keeping all the elements of skill involved.

LOL I legit wanted to cry when I saw my Ahri shoot her orb and it barely missed her target.

while I agree with the sentiment, underlords has a rank system and its actually worse in some areas IMO.

: Can someone explain why level 3 Liss is legit worse than any level 2 anything?
: In this thread we list things Dark Souls 2 did that were far better than Dark Souls 3. I'll start:
I cannot for the life of me play through DS2. I just think the level designs are just so abysmal with how gank mobs are around every corner.
: It feels like an huge number high skill floor champions right now are way overtuned...
Every time high skill champions get nerfed, they get compensation buffs. {{sticker:slayer-jinx-unamused}}
: "Riot, give me exactly what I want, every game, or fuck this gamemode!" Cry more plz. Seriously. Additional exp gets you to late game faster, and is a perfectly good reward. To the credit of Rabbit, an item is worth at least 4 gold...so if you're going to not get items, and not get exp, it needs to give you 4 gold. 4 gold is either additional exp, or it's additional rolls and income to get where you want to go. Both of which are on par with items. The gold, I admit, should give more if you're not getting any items. But the rest of this argument is straight entitlement.

Exp and gold really aren't even comparable to items. Items allow you to build around specific champs that can carry games. It's a very common and for a good reason. A fully stacked 2 star champion pretty much outshines the benefits of getting the 3 star in most cases. You can always get more gold which in turn can buy xp. You can't find items outside of carousels and neutral rounds.
: Get rid of Shojin
Maybe spells should have cooldowns. Short cooldowns, but just enough to prevent champions from spamming spells as soon as they've got mana.
: This is being updated and added into the upcoming TFT patch. Hop off the bandwagon, you're late.

Except from what I've seen, they haven't. Sometimes you get rewarded with XP, which is nice but not an item.

: Teamfight Tactics Needs A Better Design For Beginners (And Everying TBH)
It seems like there's not enough resources in-game. There's no encyclopedia built in or anything like in Underlords for example that allows players to figure out what certain items do, which champs do this or that, etc.

: Not sure how anyone can find this mode fun, it's RNG to an extreme
I hate to say it, but people play it because of the RNG. It's a gambling game. It's not all about winning first place though, it's about working with what you have and seeing how far you can go. I do think you can tweak the RNG to be more fair. It's just that it's also kinda the main appeal.
: What If The Randomness Of The Item System Got Removed?
I feel like the biggest problem is that item drops from monsters are random. I think it'd be best if everyone got the same amount of items, even if they're shit items, it's better than nothing.
: Things I felt Nexus blitz got right
Felt extremely balanced. Tanks could tank, but weren't unkillable. ADCs had proper dps and not bursts per second. IDK bros... I miss it.
: Unpopular opinion: yes healing is too good right now, but so is access to practically unlimited mana
Mana is an artificial concept these days. It matters for like the first five levels of the game before you just never run out of it. All that really matters is cooldowns.
: Afk farming in jungle role should be a bannable offense.
Buff AFK jungling IMO. I am tired of the gank meta. Junglers are consistently nerfed and then told to carry the game.
: When will you nerf Garen ?
Yes, the most easily countered archaic top laner needs a nerf.
: True in a way. But I’ve found that the team with more cc has more of a chance in winning. Especially if you can’t stomp the enemies will put of them quick enough.

So many champions have built in CC these days, especially most classic soloqueue carries.

: Unpopular Opinion: People complain about League's balance while not knowing enough about balance
The sad truth is that team comp doesn't matter anymore especially in soloqueue. The only win condition now is that you stomp lane you win game. There's no strategy and it's harder to throw now more than ever. League always used to get meme'd on regularly for "Oh first blood gg" snowballing but its at its absolute peak where it's reality.

NPCs are the future. BEEP BOOP. Automated Response Loading. Automated Response Complete: "If you don't like the game, quit playing lol. Stop whining."

: The game has existed for 10 long fucking years, and the client is still trash?
: You've been useless
The difference is that there's no coming back from it in modern league. One kill is all it takes to basically shit-stomp a lane and turn one kill into not only an un-salvageable lane but a lane in which you can just barely stay in exp range before being dove for the fifth time.

It's because it's from Dota 2.

It's because they lack the capacity to understand that Garen tanks by flanking and killing squishies.

: Game used to be balanced, but viewership of the competitive side dropped. Riot couldn't keep up viewership without being flashy and unbalanced, but rather than accept that their game was a poor spectator sport because of that fact, they chose to break balance in half and push flashy, overloaded kits. It's an unfortunate situation, but one that Riot lacks the integrity to even *want* to avoid, so we're stuck with it.

Yeah if you didn't enjoy actually playing the game. The game was at its peak at Season 3. Tactics actually mattered. Different team comps had different win conditions. Games could actually last longer than 20 minutes. Comebacks were actually possible. Champions weren't nearly as disgusting as they are today. Runes/Masteries could've used work, but honestly I kinda prefer it over today's make-or-break system.

In Nubrac's case I see the same trend. Of course they would. Playing anything different in this game is deemed "trolling" to most people. The teammates that reported him couldn't adapt to playing the game any other way and it's really their fault. If I recall, playing smite singed wasn't a bannable offense then either. So much for the section 4. If we had things according to such a rule, we'd pretty much have to ban certain champions in general as well.
