If you're buying your donuts at Dunkin Donuts, you have bigger problems than being a "racist". You're poor and have inferior food tastes. Seriously, I can't understand how people think being "racist" is the first issue eating at a place like Dunkin Donuts. A lot of poor life decisions led to eating there. That just brings up, who cares what they think? They're poor. Poor people are stupid. That's why they are poor.

"Just that she'd probably fuck up less": Here's your problem with common sense again. We don't have to guess. We have track records and history. Who's more successful? That person will "fuck up less". And for the record, who cares? None of this is real. They aren't going to let you people vote for the person who supposedly runs the country. And lets pretend Trump or Clinton will actually run the country like you think they do, none of them is going to turn the US in to a third world country over night. We won't become a Canada or Mexico. We're too far ahead of everyone else and our country is set up for you to succeed or fail on your own. No one "in charge" can affect that in the US.

They are all just goofy white kids. If I were to say "goofy black kids" (black people no longer exist), and goofy brown kids", then it would definitely be racist (if racism were a real thing) because I'm separating people by skin color and putting them in to separate groups. : How to Build a Better GD Community
But the mods didn't close threads with naming and shaming, non LOL related topics, or excessively aggressive speech, on the old forums. In fact, that's all the off topic section was. For the most part, we were allowed to police ourselves. What killed it was you people not being able to stand on your own. You people report everything. Eventually they have to protect you. If you can't defend yourself in a battle field, they take things away to make a safe place for you. You people did it to yourselves.
: Is it Rude to Tell Someone They are Making Questionable Life Decisions?
Not at all. In fact, it is the right thing to do. It's more damaging to watch them and subtly encourage them to stay on that path. It's just common sense. You can tell them and they can decide to stay stupid or not, then you just detach yourself from them. Because being friends with a moron, makes you a moron. Telling them, makes you the best friend they have. I have a lot of people that love me, but if I listened to them, they would make a lot of excuses for me. If I didn't want to work because I was tired or felt sick, they would tell me to take the day off and rest. While they mean well, that's incorrect. People for some stupid reason say "don't listen to the haters". This is wrong. We need both "negative" and "positive" feedback. The truth lies in between. Most successful businesses or partnerships start with two or more people with differing view points sitting in a room hashing it out and shaping their thing based on that. People view telling someone as "hate" but if it's true, it's true. Tell them and they can began to fix themselves. "Tell me who I'm not and maybe I'll become who I'm supposed to be".

That was in Central Park? He deserved it. You can't walk around at night at a place known for muggings while talking to your phone and playing games, you have to be alert. As frail and weak as he appears, he should of had someone protecting him. I don't let my wife wander Central Park at night. Places like that usually give you a warning to leave. If you stay after that, it's your fault. When I was coming up, if someone made a wrong turn on the freeway, we would check them and if they didn't have business there, we told them to turn around. If they didn't, they deserved whatever was coming to them. Most places are like this.

I can clear much of this up. Sharby most likely left when forums turned in to boards. He went to the Proboard GD which turned in to a thousand GDs because of inept mods and admins. It mostly consisted of irrelevant people that I'd never heard of from the forums, with the exception of Col J, who was irreverent in the Off Topic section so he stole my threads and made people on GD notice him. These are the same people who write those "articles" and those "articles are about. A lot were probably written by the person themselves, but there's a good portion written by their internet friends from those forums. That's all it was, people looking for acceptance. Most of the "articles" didn't even have real facts about the people. It was just jokes and internet friendship build up. Nothing about those people was interesting enough to write about and they were pretty much the same person.

I didn't know you made the thread. I didn't read the name, nor do I rarely ever read the name of the op. I read the title and gave you the correct reason as to why you would rather have internet interactions. I don't read your names because you people are all basically the same.

She told me "You have to learn how to do things for yourself and getting what you want usually starts with a conversation". She would then ask me questions about their body language, context of what they said, and other thing, to see if I was paying attention and extracting correct information (she was an attorney). You're allowed to find safe havens within groups to always feel comfortable. If you don't feel comfortable, it's not your fault, you're getting bullied. My mom would have laughed in my face if I said I didn't feel comfortable engaging someone. Just wondering, how old are you? Because I was raised the same way so we must be around the same age xD Only difference is my mom didn't force me to interact with people, it was something I did on my own. As I said...I have 0 problem with talking to a complete stranger. I don't remember ever saying its uncomfortable to talk to people either. And who said anyone was getting bullied. @.@

I didn't read any posts in this thread, I only briefly skimmed this one directed to me. So I'm not directly speaking to you. I'm just stating facts to all of you people. I sincerely doubt I'd ever specifically direct comments to you and 90% of you people. Just for the fact, I have no idea who you are and I don't read the posts you people make unless they are in my threads. Then I skim them.
: Honestly, I'd rather intereact with people online then people IRL
A lot of it has to do with the way you kids are raised nowadays. When I was a kid, my mom forced me to engage and interact with people. From the moment I could speak. She insisted I maintain eye contact and be able to approach people. Even if it was something simple like checking in for an appointments when I was 3 or 4. She told me "You have to learn how to do things for yourself and getting what you want usually starts with a conversation". I gifted her my DNA and some adversity to overcome. I suspect that she will seek me out and thank me when she gets older.
