Good vision and due to winning lane I roam mid or counter jg early. Usually draws attention to my lane which eases stress on other lanes Tuesday's 7pm central or later Saturday/Sunday anytime.
: it's like this man - this game isnt subscription based or initial fee based. all of the in game items are cosmetic minus the runes and champs - both of which can be earned through constant play. that means that this game is operating on riot points only and the only reasons why people even buy those riot points is because of impatience or because of exclusiveness. that means little funds unless they create content that people want. with low amounts of funds - you shouldnt expect massive teams to be working on each project. maybe 3 or 4 at the most. league is popular and competitive so it's going to attract a lot of people - unfortunately a vast majority of those players are not joining for the experience so much as they're joining to prove their worth. that leads to a lot of negative behavior in the community. these forums for the most part are a cheap way for a company to keep up with community opinions. they were here in the beginning and so they're still here. lots of game companies use forums as a way to notify players or to try and bring everyone together. after all the idea of the forum is based on the ancient forum that's basically just a place where community members gather to talk about similar interests or events being held in town. i'd say less than half of the people who play leagues actually use the boards. i dont know for sure but that's my personal guess. riot's main goal should be providing content that players want while continuing to leave room for new content they havent thought of yet. everything else is secondary to that goal otherwise league will collapse from lack of funding. do they care about their community? most definitely. do they have the manpower to correct it? definitely not. communities have to fix communities. the only way to do that is by reporting players who break the summoners code. so what's the end game you might ask? well in truth there is no end game. riot's going to ride this falling satellite into the ground. hopefully it stays in orbit a few more years, but that all depends on the community and how everyone treats each other and whatever the children around 14 or so decide they find cool and fun worldwide. each time you tell some whiny kid that they should get off the game... you're shortening the lifespan of this game by a few years.
Respectfully this is a lot of opinion not well founded in fact. Riot is an extremely profitable company. They've obviously given the laypeople the opinion that they're a small company, but they're not. Also, their own studies have shown a player like me who on average spends anywhere from $250+ / year are not the players being reformed, as they typically are the non-toxic or neutral players. They are also about 80% of their user base. So that would make the 14 year old toxic player you mentioned fall in the 20% of players that spend less than $20 a month with Riot, and hey account for about 90% of their reformed player base. So again, I ask, if a majority of us are non-flaming regular players who just want a good competitive game and some cool skins, where do we fit when we stop spending money with Riot. I currently have 14 friends who have boycotted RP based product and all spend $20 / month on content, similar to a subscription type game. What happens when that 80% of players base starts to erode, as it currently is. For just my friends that's $280 a month in revenue lost. $3360 a year. Tell me, maybe not you personally, but you know of players who have stopped buying content. We're only continuing to add to Riot's operating cost while eroding their margins, simply because they don't want to, or are unable to, provide a higher quality product in regards to in-game gameplay (i.e. Competitive matches, no hate speech, no homophobia, and no AFK / Troll) Again, S2 until now and I only go maybe one or two games before I have a silent griefer, a toxic teammate, a racist or homophobic teammate. 5 years is too long for no progress in my humble opinion.

That's all I am getting at. I truly believe toxic players, as well as positive players, deserve a better process at handling such things than what Riot has currently come up with. You also have to remember riot really isn't a big name company. As in they really don't have that much people working for them, let alone a lot of people working in one department. The people who work on tickets, keeping up with the system to make sure it's working right when people get ban is probably small. What most people ask for seems really impossible to accomplish. Like having it to where responding to a reported incident should happen in a matter of seconds/mintues from the report. People don't realize how many games and accounts of active daily. It would be impossible to try and work out every single incident in a timely manner. Even if they hired a group of people I'm sure they have tons of backlogs to work through. Like I said before that's the downside of having a popular free to play game. The amount of accounts that are made daily is just too much, especially with how easy it is to make an account. It's crazy!
Unfortunately, this is not true. They are a company that garners 26 million plus viewers watching their events. They aren't small, and quite honestly need to do better. I'm not trying to sound like a broken record, my point is that as a consumer I found this product dissatisfying. Moreover, they need us to contribute to their revenue via buying skins etc, in order to continue to service us and I worry with the amount of friends quitting due to the community, and the amount of friends refusing to give their patronage to Riot anymore due to poor community and toxicity, that the game will only continue to get worse. There's really not a worse feeling as a casual gamer when the game you "hitched your pony to" for lack of a better term, has continuously put the average run-of-the-mill player's needs below everything else. The amount of professional players is probably under 200. The amount of casual players that spend $10-$20 a month with Riot is in the millions. What happens when the latter group starts shrinking? An already dysfunctional at best system gets worse. Either way I appreciate the feedback, all! Thanks :D

: This section of forum is just a troll fest for people who raging and upset about game to call each other "toxic" (since when is calling a person poison not insult?) Most people that want/get help from riot are intelligent enough to post in the help and support section. This section is for trolls like Nami (who use to be one of those so called police) can feel big and important. They didn't care what Nami did here till nami crossed the line and trolled riot. Now nami has no blue name. _So to answer your question this is just league of legends version of 4chan_ Very much so like the old _unskilled player_ report that made some people feel better but never ever ever did anything.
