: Ghosts were problematic. But I see nothing wrong with this new ultimate. It doesn't pull the target towards you or anything, you still have to reach them in the first place. This means you need to proc your passive somehow before ulting them. Also we simply don't have enough information yet on what his damage output/mobility looks like or how dodgeable his E is. Edit: His E is very dodgeable. Basically, it's too early to complain about anything other than "aw he lost x ablity", which is fair but it's also fair to say "yay he lost x ability". Personally as a Yorick main thank god he lost that W that cucked my ghouls. 1v1 me in the Shadow Realm.

Errr I wouldn’t be so confident with that. Watching some clips of his gameplay, it seems that it literally just pulled YOU into the realm, and nothing else. I wouldn’t count on your ghouls coming with. I would expect that gets changed but when he uses it on illaoi it’s just her, no tentacles, even if she ult sin the shadow realm.

Try and play her a few times and then come back to us.

Idk man like... there are certain champions I have always thought are bs. And you just don't see them played in higher elo. I think the reason they are not play more is not because higher elo players don't know how to play them its just there are stronger champion choices and their similar elo counterparts know how to play against them. Like garen might role over low elo because he gets super fed in lane because he is mechanically easy to play. But his late game presence isn't always the best and in higher elo that will be exploited along with players knowing how to kite him more and therefore having him have less impact on the game.
its not becuase they dont know how to play them but it is because they _don't_ play them. League is full of cocky players because well sadly it may be the one thing they're actually okay at and you can't be diamond and play a champ like garen?? for real garen?? you get what i'm saying? Thats why so many of those "Easy" champs aren't played. Faker does it because he knows they're broken and strong and he doesn't care about people's view of him. He played ryze when no one else wanted to and he did insane things with him, but players in the NA LCS couldn't stoop that low because of their own self reputation.

I disagree with this, just because someone is bronze doesn't mean they lack game knowledge. Maybe they don't sit around for hours playing to better their skills but maybe they watch every game of the LCS and Korea on the weekend before they go to bed. Their game knowledge can be immense but their game skills not so much. In this case these people can also fundamentally understand the "mechanics" everyone talks about and completely gets what they must do but just physically can't because they're less inclined towards gaming than others. This doesn't diminish their opinions, to me in slightly strengthens them. Generally speaking, lower ELO's have a less biased opinion because they have no attachment to a champion like higher ELO players that consistently play some of the champs people claim to be "broken"

Well its because generally (in my opinion) lower ELO's are the perfect place to show case balance - not higher ELO's. The reason for this is everyone in higher ELO's are there for two reasons: one being they play more and they are mechanically better, the second is they play the same set of champs over and over again. For instance Garen is a stupid champion in lower ELO's but higher ELO players says he's not good cause he's not played there - but Garen wouldn't be played in higher ELO's because he was never played in higher ELO's. Bjergsen doesn't play him, Balls doesn't play him, Huni doesn't play him etc. If for the hell of it someone played Garen once and showcased what he was actually capable of the view of him would be different. But that would never happen because he just simply not played in higher ELO. When balancing a game, you should balance for the masses, not the small proportion of your player base that are egotistical shits like you have in league. And on many occasion, people in higher ELO get defensive because the champs that most players see as "broken" are the champs they have to continuously play to get the rank they have so they make up excuses like "skill cap" and "outplay" and "counter play" but they're all just excuses to defend why a champ must remain that way.

I absolutely hate mages in league of legends, and now they I have games where there is a mage mid, top, support, and jungle it just disgusts me. I think the developers are being a bit too impulsive with some of the changes and don't really take the time to look into the PBE and balance things. They put too much in one update with this and I'm expecting to see some blacklash from professional play. Sure they adapt and on and on and on, but changes this big at once create a lot of conflict within the "fairness" of professional play. Also the dragon update really isn't competitive. It being random is the issue - and two of them are blatantly stronger than the others.

Yes but if you auto'd once on sated and then lost your stacks your next auto will be the double hit since sated has no internal cd on that its just simply every other auto but your passive will be at 0 stacks. Im going to try to explain it as best as i can. Its like on beats and off beats - you can get on the off beats so you "double proc" auto is on the first auto of your passive 3 stacks granting you the first and second stack. You then auto again for the 3rd stack which gives you the passive bonus damage. Diana can be absolutely destructive with sated but it can also be lack luster on the time you get stuck on the off beats in the fight. When stacking with the on beats your first auto gives you one stack and then the "double proc" auto with give you your second and third which with double activate the passive damage. 1 - 2/3, 1 - 2/3 etc. It does this because the whole passive is linked to that third strike of the passive and with sated it essentially bundles it all together into the one hit. Its super awkward now that I'm reading through it but hopefully you can make sense of it. I know exactly what your talking about and have thought into it and i know that there is a pattern where your passive is still everything third though. I'm just trying to think about how to explain when it happens and its super hard ahaha

: I am getting this almost every game as well. My in game playing is perfectly fine, however my client chat lags, champion selections and lockins take 15-45 seconds to take effect, and the countdown for draft games just keeps ticking away. This problem also happens for when the queue for a game appears, sometimes only popping up for a split second before saying i missed the AFK check. This has caused me to appear to "dodge" ranked games resulting in lost RP as well. This has become such an inconvenience today that I am unable to play the game at all. I have checked other applications and games that require internet connection, and all of them are working. Like i stated above as well, when I am actually in game (assuming i can even get in to one), the connection is flawless. I checked the old forums and it appears this issue dates back all the way since 2013, however no solution was presented in the 11 pages of dialogue. Please help Riot, otherwise I will have to find a different game to play **literally** because i will not be able to enter one of your games.
You're one person, Riot doesn't care man. I'm looking into this now because its happening like crazy to me all of a sudden and it seems like RIot has never acknowledge any of these posts or even the bug in general.

I've experience this like crazy lately and it never started until dynamic que was introduced. My best guess is it is on Riot's end because they're too cheap to fix the little bug that may impact a few players - otherwise they would have brought it up or attempted to make fixes.

: Hourglass is already the defensive mage item and while it doesn't help remove CC, it is still a VERY powerful effect (and in some cases straight up better). The main reason there isn't an AP version of Qss is because it would be unfair. Mages already have the ability to pick off and instantly burst down their adc targets. They rely on range and positioning to keep themselves safe as tradeoffs for the cc and burst damage they bring to teamfights. Adc's, on the other hand (and also the only class that really picks up QSS) relies on sustained damage over several seconds to deal their damage. They are usually much shorter range as well, putting themselves in range of a lot more CC. They need to ability to quickly remove a CC and reposition in their shorter range, thus QSS having a more optimal build for them. Essentially, giving a good QSS option to mages would be completely negating their main weakness that needs to get targeted. As an example, think about Lux. She plays from ~1100 range at all times (past lane phase) meaning there are very few champions that can even reach her without expending a large number of resources. Once closed upon, however, Lux struggles (at least theoretically) to deal with the opponent in her face (and the cc they are using to hold her down). If she could get out of this? It wouldn't even be close to fair.

: This seems more like a G5&B post. Listing a champions strengths alone makes any champion seem OP. Everyone of your "Strengths" are something that would be a problem, with your logic, on AP ekko as well.
well, can you list tank ekko's weaknesses that have some depth to them? then we can have a discussion. His biggest counterplay is poppy's w and thats not even close to a comparable cd to actually "counter" him.
