: Quitting ranked this season, matchmaking isn't working in my favour and feels rigged.
I have spent the last 3 years studying the match maker to determine exactly how the rigging works. I can guarantee you that it IS rigged, but to this day I still haven't fully made up my mind exactly how the rigging works. Like, what exactly triggers it. The algorithms seem to be very complex. I've definitely proven (to myself) the existence of at least one algorithm that 100% triggers the match maker to give you feeders. More than likely that's the one you triggered since you seem to have a lot of feeders on your team. If you want to talk on discord about it, lemme know.

You might try going into a practice tool game and see if it crashes. You can even add a bot to the practice tool game, just to give it more stuff to load. The practice tool games run on the live server just like live games, so if the problem has anything to do with your connection to the server, it should crash the practice tool game just the same. I'm not giving you a solution here, I'm just suggesting a way for you to test the crash (so you can try to find a fix for it), without messing up your matchmade games. Good luck.

: Sadly, there's a good chance Riot will eventually just delete the item before they fix the bug. It's one of my favorite items, but there are apparently people at Riot who don't like the playstyles it supports, hence why it's been nerfed to the point where hardly anyone uses it.
Well, in the off chance that Riot sees this comment and cares what I think... I would hope that if they do remove the item, that they at least replace it with another item that is capable of dealing damage to turrets, but which avoids whatever playstyle that Riot didn't like about Zz'Rot. Because as a tank I like being able to deal damage to turrets, and it would suck if my ONLY damage option is literally just the demolishion rune. I mean, AD and AP champs get to deal damage to turrets, so it would be unfair to take away the ONLY item that gives tanks that option. If they remove Zz'Rot, they really should give tanks an alternative item that can deal similar turret damage, but again, avoids the playstyle (whatever that is) that Riot didn't like.

Champions with stacking mechanics do not stack on minions (or towers) killed by VoidSpawn. The little voidspawns even give me gold when they kill minions, so definitely it's supposed to credit me for what they do. It's a bug, and Riot needs a spankin' if this bug has been in the game longer than one patch. I only just started to build Zz'Rot this patch, so I wouldn't know if this bug's been in the game for a long time or not. But if it has, then Riot should be exceedingly embarrassed. Like they should be curled up in fetal position out of sheer shame. Lol jk.

The promo games do seem to be harder than non-promo games... the OP isn't wrong about that. I was 30 wins, 3 losses until I hit one of the larger promo games (one of the 5 game promos to go to a higher elo), and immediately I went into a 3 game lose streak, then easy win to re-trigger the promo a second time, in which I won, lost, won, lost, and then won.. so I got promoted. But still, that's 5 losses, more than all the losses I've had in like my past 50 games. And this isn't the first time... I've seen this many times before during promos, especially the bigger promos. In the past this used to really mess with me, and I'd change my strategy thinking I was doing something wrong. But now I know it's just rigged during promos, so I've learned not to change my strategy or change anything just because of having lots of losses during promos. So don't downvote people who believe promos are rigged. They are not wrong. And knowing it's rigged has been one of the big things that has helped me climb, because by knowing it's rigged, I know not to change my strategy, because I know the losses aren't my fault and changing my champ pool or whatever isn't going to help.

This would force half the people who are doing placements to lose. But probably... if riot was to look at the statistics... I imagine... that people who are in placements tend to win their placements slightly more than half the time. So your idea would force a 50% win rate on people who should have had a slightly higher than 50% win rate.

I could only hit baron for 310 with barons gaze. 13,500 hp 120 armor (-55% phys) Q did 591 damage +8% max health 591+1080 =1671 -55% phys from armor -50% baron's gaze that should at least cause it to deal 375 damage, right? Why was I losing 65 damage? This is more about understanding how the damage reduction system works than poppy being bugged. It's close enough that I think it's probably not broken.
I suggest you test it with a level 1 Q, and no items on Poppy, so you can see what the 8% max Hp portion of her ability actually does. For me, it looked like it was doing nothing at all.

Riot has disabled the forced win rate algorithms for most of the top streamers on twitch. Because unfair losses are not fun to watch, and they want to keep league at the top of twitch. If you are a top streamer and they haven't already unlocked your account, you can send a ticket to support. Just let them know you're a top streamer on twitch, and they'll be more than happy to flag your account for easy wins.

: I literally just sat down and did a long ranked session today, starting at the bottom of silver 3 and made it up to silver 1 People called me hardstuck despite only playing about 20 ranked games this season total so I honestly don't even know what hardstuck means anymore. But yes even just those 20 ranked games were horrible, my best advice is to do your best to skew the odds in your team`s favor, Its not enough for you to land your skillshot slow onto the enemy adc, your ezreal will STILL miss his q, its not enough to save your fiddle from certain doom, he will still run back in with less than 100 hp and die to an auto attack. Your team will do baron at the worst time while you scream bloody murder for them to stop while the enemy team closes in with their ults ready. You need to utilize atleast 1 of the 3 holy trinities to skew the odds in your favor. (most champions can do atleast 1 of these 3) Waveclear is incredibly useful to have when your team decides to run it down one at a time and you manage to back off when things go south, not only does it stall the game out for any late game champs you have, it also gives your team another chance at group fighting which they probably didn't deserve in the first place. Objective control.....is not just neutral monsters and enemy towers, sometimes you have to focus the champion that your team just doesn't know what to do against, that enemy champion becomes a win condition for you unless your team is actually really bad / far behind. Being scary...………...nope that's really just it, ive won group fights just by standing between 1-2 carries on the enemy team and the group fight that they are trying to be apart of. Just remember, sometimes there are going to be games where nothing you do will ever have an impact on the outcome.
Your opgg shows S6 gold, S7 gold, S8 gold... so I see no indication that you've ever been hard stuck in silver, so even if there was a such thing as rigging going on, it would not be affecting you until you are out of silver. Thanks for the advice though but, I too have a list of things I'm focusing on to try to win. My list is much bigger than yours, but then again, I main jungle which is a much more complicated role probably than top, since I have to deal with the entire map and a much broader list of problems and opportunities that can occur. But if all you have to do is focus on those three simple things to win rank out of silver playing top... well that must be very relaxing.

: it's no surprise that the queue time is ridiculous at 5 am especially after the experience requirements to lv.30 was reduced drastically which means less lower level players. imagine how many actual new players quit due too terrible matchmaking and lack of experience. it used to take twice as long to reach lv.30 which gave the new players more experience before fighting players above lv.30 so now they are pretty much thrown into the matchmaking with players that have 100-200 more games of experience. i hope they never reduce it further to ruin the new player experience.
Well Iron tier basically solves all the problems you seem to be worried about, but I already said that in my original post. So obviously you disagree, and yet in your reply you never mentioned Iron, or shared your reason as to why you don't believe it helps.

average wait is 3 min. During the middle of the day I usually wait about a minute for an ARAM game. But 5am is abort the worst time for low level ARAM games on LAN, the wait time is often 15 minutes but after 44 minutes I realized it was legit never going to happen lol.
