: Essence Reaver went from being a good mana sustain and cdr adc item to being only useful and comepletely broken on Jax, Yi, and Renekton. They really just need to start differentiating all items between range and melee and make different versions of more used items for each. It would make balancing items much easier when one side abuses an item that is supposed to be for the other side.

: It's unlikely we'd want to change Black Cleaver back to Hammer/Phage. Getting some more health onto it, and less AD, has helped balance it better for a range of different users, gives it a clearer distinction from other early damage heavy options and gets a bit of extra health into the system in what seems to be a reasonable way (not trying to reduce defenses right now). Can understand that that does mean some champs who'd really like the old build path find it much less appealing, feel that's a trade off we should make though.

: If Conqueror was removed, it is going to hurt because if tanks get strong again then we won't be able to deal with them. If it was replaced by Fervor then we could make it so that the max AD is lowered to like 54 or something and give it BONUS armor penetration. That way it functions exactly the same as old Fervor, which we want, and it is still good against tanks, but won't allow us to murder squishies with true damage.

: Nothing wrong with Fervor, although how many champions would really take it in the current meta? At the moment most champions who would take Fervor get probably just as much out of Press the Attack. It is funny that some of the older keystones that actually seemed to be good fits disappeared. Like how Courage of the Colossus was removed for Guardian, but Courage actually made more sense. It awarded champions for crowd control in the middle of the enemy team, and it had no damage on it. Aftershock is sort of a combination of Courage and the old Fearless mastery, but then the shield part was moved over to the new keystone. I also miss DFT, but that's because I was an OG Swain player. The new Swain wouldn't be nearly as good with it. They are slowly eliminating the majority of DOT's from the game.

Champions who would take fervor in the current meta would be champs who are taking conq + more. Conq is abused by certain champions fervor was healthier not everyone doing true damage.

Granted, it made A LOT more champions viable - but on the other hand, it also lets champions like Jax build much less offensive items and still hit super hard. : the thing is tanks need higher base dmgs to farm durning laning phase witch is their weakest point in the game. they are ment to be cc heavy and ment to be team focus heavy nerfing that wouldnt solve the problem as it would make things alot worse cause when tanks are nerfed then we see a rise in the assassin meta and it would be the same thing over again assassins to strong buff tanks nerf assassins. Its the same Cycle. the thing with sion is his passive it does max hp dmg on top of his base auto not to mention he can still have that tower destruction rune and proc it it allows him to take towers pretty fast since he can just keep wailing on it even after you killed him. overall tanks are ment to be cc heavy dmg sponges they need their high base dmg but are suppose to have shitty scaling and not deal outragues fucking dmg (they can have pretty good scaling on their ults though depending) {{sticker:slayer-jinx-wink}}

There base damage is already fine. If fervor was brought back we would see tanks slowly come back but atleast no true damage from conq.

Conq should just be fervor. with everyone doing true damage it’s pretty difficult to balance and it’s not fun.

: too much CC and base damage, and also CC engage ults (which are broken in competitive). I'm fine with removing Conqueror if we fix the tank problem, otherwise at least 2 way imbalance keeps things level even if it is unhealthy.

: Caufield and phage was the original build of Black Cleaver, back when BC gave more AD and less Health. They changed it because ADC's were abusing it back in season 6, because of the armor shred (lucian and MF abused armor pen items and BC a lot)
