: Apart from 1 Rioter, Riot gave up the mode completly. They didnt balance items or champion or update the map to look better. As result they player poulation was diminishing. The biggest reason was that Dominion didnt get Ranked as it was firstly advertized due to the small size poplulation ( which it was small due to the abovementioned problems). All that result in a vicius circle and gave negative feedback to kill the mode. The only way is to complete overhaul the mode and modernize it and make it faster and give it ranked ladder. I think it will help the mode survive. But I dont see Riot giving resources to an old project similar to Magma chamber ( 1vs1 or 2vs2 map). Try to make a petition hopefully if you get 5-10% players ( people not different acounts) in each region they may consider it. Good Luck in your endeabours PS I like Dominion and i had like 80 games on it, I played when I was bored from ARAM (I am RTG player, i like to play the modes other than Summoners RIft).
ARAM has never been ranked either and yet it's still around, hmmmm I'd be down for dominion, just because I don't like normal rift, and I pretty much play aram exclusively.
: So if they're serious about "confidently launching Clash to everyone", why are they only going to test it for one day in each region...? I know "more details to follow" but only one day seems kinda half-assed don'cha think?

: Seriously... can we ban Aram accounts already? Or just remove Aram.
ARAM's the only thing I play, so please don't remove it. I think the heart of this issue, or at least what gets me the most about aram accounts, is that ARAM is supposed to be a FUN game mode. However, people eventually realized they could "have more fun" if they had "aram accounts". Unfortunately, this makes it feel like these players are killing the fun for the non-aram-account summoners. Another problem is, how exactly would riot determine what an aram account is. If they based that merely on the amount of champions owned, or based on certain champions owned, even then summoners would get incorrectly marked that were not actually aram accounts. Summoners would not voluntarily join an "aram account only" queue either, because that would increase there chances of losing, and that is what they wished to avoid in the first place by making an aram account. RIOT could make everyone have the same champion pool for ARAM - that is the only way to make things "fair". RIOT will never do that, because then, people would be playing champions they don't even own, or like, and that would still be, at least in RIOT's eyes, be "less fun" than playing (with your non-aram account champion pool) vs aram accounts.

: What was wrong with the old system? If you saw honorable behavior, you mentioned it. The whole point is that it's supposed to lead to victory, not boxes... good players and play are conducive to winning. What happened? We had to start offering hextech boxes to make winning worthwhile? You think maybe if you have to keep putting carrots-on-a-stick in front of your players, your game is kind of unrewarding at its base, maybe? If the honor system isn't alive without the promise of loot, maybe the system-- and the notion-- is dead? This game **is** the swamp. It's the swamp because Riot keeps putting out arbitrary rewards, hoping that material gain will result in better behavior. They keep saying it's for 'good' play, _What could possibly go wrong?_ To be quite frank, you sound young and hungry for boxes. The reward for honour is the result; not stupid loot boxes. If being a good player for its own merits isn't good enough, begging people to act good in exchange for boxes is going to be even more trouble. You think this is draining the swamp; all they're doing is pouring buckets of freshwater into it. I know I'm reaching here, but I would love to get into a long discussion with a Red or a blue or yellow guy on the new honour system. One thing I do love to (obviously) talk walls to sleep on is player behavior, because psychology, and the thing I like to study. I'm sorry if I seem catty on this issue. I'd like to bring it to full attention that I saw abused, and abused, the first honour system; if there's a reward, and more importantly a 'tiered' reward system, I think this system could hope for a slow burn at best. What would be nice is the option to nominate for a Gold, Silver, Bronze kind of allotment. Or even just a best-and-runner-up. One is stifling. That's all I'm saying. Absolutely nothing wrong with old honor system - EXCEPT there was no incentive to ever honor any one. There was nothing wrong with HOW you honored someone - to me the issue was WHY honor someone. +1 this and that - who honestly cared? It never amounted to any type of reward; at least now there's "flare", but even that can be easily abused with premades honor circle jerking each other until level 5 or /we the honor level cap/max is.
: Why are we only allowed to honor one person?????
I voted chocolate cake because: 1. chocolate mother fucking cake holy shit are you retarded autsim?> 2. Should be able to vote for not just the whole team, but anyone on the other team as well. Also. Lol downvoted for saying people need to learn how to play the game, I guess we should just all get boosted accounts and go brag about it on reddit.

The crappy t2 runes aren't gonna help...it's like having "the best gear" on a champ and then saying WHY AM I NOT GOING 90/0 THIS GAME WTF RIOT REPORTED
: Riot, do you have any concerns with this becoming a pitfall for newer players? When starting out its very hard to feel the difference between a few AD over the course of the game. I don't want to end up playing with people who have all t2 runes because they're 250 to 2150 times cheaper than their tier 3 counterparts? This doesn't feel like it removes any of the barriers of getting a new player into this game. This really just gives you reasonable early game stats to make champions more effective at summoner level 1 while still not impacting the barrier for new players to get into the game. Its like... its kinda nice, but its kinda not. I appreciate it, but at 30 I all of a sudden don't again... ya know?
It is absolutely a pitfall. Why should you waste newcomers attention on minimal stat boosts when it's more about learning the game in general that counts, such as how to play champions and map positioning.
: This is to help the new players. Long timers can eat it.
If they really wanted to help them they'd get rid of rune tiers and just have the t3 runes.
: The real problem is that tier 3 runes are absurdly overpriced. A good rune page costs about 19k Ip. which is 3 6300 champions. if you are going to reduce the prices of runes, at least do it for the ones that people actually use
They can basically charge w/e they want, since it's either that or paying RP for runes, which IMO would kill the game because ten it'd be pay-wo-win basically. : Starter tier 2 runes to go on 1 IP sale
Yeah guys, it's good because it helps players get used to how runes work...and by that I mean how used to overpriced t3 runes are. No matter what riot does, it will always be an IP-waste to get anything less than the highest tier runes. Unfortunately, this is probably the best thing riot can do for sub-par runes, besides removing them from the game. So basically that bit about "we can't make the runes free" is a copout, since they apparently have 0 problem making t3 runes overpriced. But honestly it's the only option; because it's either high ip cost runes or RP runes, which I am 100% against since the game would basically turn into a pay-to-win game. Because of this, Riot can basically charge w/e they want IP-wise. So "unfortunately" it's BASICALLY pointless to complain about high IP costs. Mwahahahaha.Ha.(evil riot employee laughing)
: Yeah, so, me and many other get to watch others come in like a breeze after we worked our tales off (win or lose) for many many games not only for your insanely priced champs and runes, IN A FREE TO PLAY GAME ANYWAY, now you slap veterans in the face with this? Things like this is going to cost you in the long run, you are most likely going to lose a lot of players over things like this, but you do what you want anyway, so do your thing, I'm going to mine, deuces League of Changes.
Worked our tales off to get t2 runes? loloololol you tell funny joke
: It's nothing new. {{champion:222}} Jinx LOVES to blow up things and kill people. {{champion:203}} Kindred are poetic about their job. (Lamb at least) {{champion:80}} Pantheon loves the idea of dying on combat (Or combat in general, but that sorta implies the probability of dying at any point) Aside from that, we have Pyro from TF2 with the same perception of things. I'm not saying riot stole the idea, it's definitely different, but it's not impressive or new either.
I would say it is new, simply because of the perspective from which the destruction emanates, the "artistic/calculating" perspective.

: [Here](http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Jhin), it's listed that his first three autoattacks _cannot_ critically strike, while his fourth one always does for reduced damage.
And more importantly DrCyanide, it's just plain wrong, lol. He can crit whenever the fuck he wants, which is gonna be alot since crit gives him crit and attack damage, plus obviously ~the fourth shot~.
: His crits scale with itemization, more items = more crits
So crit gives crit and attack damage. In other words build crit, lol.
Wind234 (NA)
: I may hold an unpopular opinion, but I think that the disconnect between Jhin's kit and his theme might be intentional. I know, that sounds absurd, but hear me out real quick. Allow me to point out that, in his splash art, he's looking at his reflection in a cracked mirror. Obviously we know that this is meant to represent his fractured view of the world and of himself, where while he views himself as an artist, he's truly a ruthless murderer who will do what it takes to make sure his targets die a "beautiful" death. And to him, his kit might actually be helping to achieve such a thing. Let's take his trap firstly. For some artists, there is beauty in struggle, in attempting to overcome the odds and find peace with yourself or the world. For a twisted killed like Jhin, he may find beauty in the struggle of staying alive, in fighting against the inevitable. The hopes of living, only to be snared and having those hopes snuffed out....for Jhin, this may be quite a beautiful death indeed. But sometimes, an artist wants something more....powerful. Something grander, more vibrant. For some, this means a more rapidly-paced musical piece or a high-energy dance routine. Ah, but for Jhin, the smell of smoke, the screams of pain as his target is burnt with his grenades, the glorious burst of heat and color that comes when his canister finally erupts - that also could be a thing of beauty. It's not as symbolic or graceful, but a true artist learns to appreciate beauty in all things. Ah, yet these methods are so impersonal, aren't they? There's such a disconnect when the artist isn't involved in their work. That's where his guns come in. For those of you who may not know, the number four is actually quite taboo in some cultures, for some believe it to be the number of death - it's sort of like how we Americans associate the number 13 with bad luck and misfortune. His passive having four shots, with a beautiful last shot to end it all, is like a brisk tempo in a dance, stepping in rhythm to gunshots. His W is quite symbolic of how frustrating it is to get a piece just right as well. It's so easy to miss your mark when you're trying to make something beautiful, but doesn't that just make it all the more satisfying when you finally get it right? It certainly helps when your audience is interested (hence the mark from the E). And as for his R? The piece de resistance? When you make your masterpiece, you want to make sure it leaves in impact for all who witness it. You don't want your climax to fall short now. You want the chorus to sing loud, the music to build, you want that moment to feel as though it's what you've been waiting for this whole time. Everything has been leading up to this final, finishing moment. And when it's done and you've hit your mark, all we see the beauty in your grand performance. The curtain falls, the audience applauds, and you can't wait until you get to work on your next piece.... So...it may just be a matter of interpretation. Maybe I'm just looking too much into this. But Jhin is a complicated mind. Where we see chaos and destruction, he will see beauty and art, a symphony that only a virtuoso such as himself could hope to compose. And perhaps it's to his own frustration that none of us see what he sees. Perhaps that is why he keeps trying to create bigger and better pieces, to make all see that his art is beautiful. Though unfortunately, an artist's mind is often a hard place to understand for those who don't appreciate such things. Or rather, it's hard for the sane to understand the twisted. That's just my take on things, though. Everyone's entitled to their opinions, of course, and some may not see what I see in Jhin's creation. For some, this might lead to him coming across as lackluster and lacking passion in his design. But then again...perhaps we're supposed to feel that way about him. Let's just call it...a disagreement of artistic opinion, yes? Let's hope Jhin doesn't hear you, though. He may decide to make you his next work.....
Man I'd hate to see a "nonquick" explanation.
: The fact is that they worded it poorly, both interpretations could be correct. Since they paired attack speed with crit chance in the second sentence, it leads one to believe that they will both follow the same rules of being completely converted to AD. However it is unclear whether crit chance will follow the exact same rules as attack speed. Here is what we can say for sure in terms of both the itemization and the runes you pick: Attack speed = AD (ratio of conversion is unknown) Crits = Movement buff based on attack speed (ratio again unknown) Crit damage < 200% (which is base crit damage ratio) Crit chance = AD (ratio unknown) Anything else is just speculation.
I would also add that attack speed does not give attack speed.
: "Jhin’s crits deal less damage than normal, and his attack speed doesn’t actually scale with attack speed. Instead, Jhin gains attack damage from any attack speed and crit chance he earns through itemization and runes, while crits give him a burst of movement based on his attack speed." I'm confused..
All that means is his attack speed and crit gets converted to attack damage; and when he crits, he gains movespeed. That's it, lol. Riot likes to unnecesarily elaborate and complicate sometimes I guess.
: Having the same problem. Constantly 'Attempting to Reconnect'. My problem is NOT my internet, it's on Riot's end. Tried everything on the Connectivity fix page apart from port forwarding, used the Repair function, nothing helps. Unable to play the game at all (I don't enjoy letting my team down and losing connection every time I engage), please resolve this.
I am basically in the same boat; I've tried portforwarding, disabling IP helper, and obviously not downloading during gameplay. I even tried switching the dns servers on my network card to (8.8.8.8 and 4.2.2.2). I still constantly get "attempting to reconnect" during games, even vs. bots. I used to play ARAM, then I started to lag out constantly. Eventually I got reported for being afk/leaving, so finally I thought "I guess there's too many people/connections involved for my internet to handle, I'll try playing bots." Played bots fine for a few days, then wham, now I can't even play bot matches bc I fucking dc every 15 seconds. This happens even when the game says my latency is around 150-200 (that's good for me); sometimes it can get to 3-800(vs bots). Used to it was around 100, same ISP, same service. I have to alt+tab or ctrl+alt+del because attempting to reconnect never does anything, the screen just sits there. I have to close the client to get the window that has the orange reconnect button to appear. My internet does way better when I'm not on league, and by that I mean it doesn't randomly cut off or disconnect. That makes me think it's not my isp, or at least not entirely isp's fault.

I can unconfirm that. I still constantly get "attempting to reconnect" during games. I used to play ARAM but now I can't even play bot matches bc I fucking dc every 15 seconds.
