: Realized it doesn't help. If my team mates are bad they are going to continue to be bad no matter what I say. Better to just take the loss and not lose account or rewards, so I just mute people.
Muting people doesn't feel worth it to me, esp when I heavily rely on communication. I've turned many games around solely on communication itself, so I'm conflicted about it.
: Well, the best way I find for dealing with my own rage and vitriol is primarily to put it towards better ends than what first come to mind. For example, I _could_ get pissed and lash out at my jungler for completely ignoring my lane and letting me get beat down to a 0/4/0 KDA, or instead I could use that anger to fuel an effort to bounce back. Take a few jungle camps, farm as much as I can, avoid fights, let it simmer until I get the opportunity to really let it out and reclaim a spot of relevance in the match. Sometimes that anger can be channelled a little more directly, like, having a particular disdain for the _one_ AP Champion on the enemy team who's actively becoming a threat, so you turn that anger into slight tunnel vision and focus him out first and foremost. Remember; anger is natural, and, while it can't be completely controlled or held down, you can at least redirect it to something good. Alternatively, if I find myself unable to readily redirect my anger, I just try to calm myself down in some small ways. Shouting, practicing breathing exercises, slamming the table, etc. - anything I can think of to vent it out and help me regain focus.
I tried the muting option, it doesn't work as well as I would hope it would be because I rely heavily on communication with the team. If it gets really bad then yeah, I'll end up muting them or using the /muteall command. > Take a few jungle camps, farm as much as I can, avoid fights, let it simmer until I get the opportunity to really let it out and reclaim a spot of relevance in the match. This is something I do pretty often, even as a top laner or a jungler, but people always threatened to report me for the following reasons: Intentionally throwing/griefing, **AFK** (Farming), or negative behavior for "giving up", or proceed to talk shit to me post-game chats. Sure I report them as well, but it just doesn't feel justified to me. If I want to vent out my anger I just go watch Netflix. I watched so many series out of anger and bitterness towards to the game...
