: Honestly, Even LCS is boring to watch
>Or it is a 40+ min scrap of teams endlessly split pushing because towers are so weak (I.E. CLG vs IMT) I mean, to be fair, the CLG splitpush strategy is largely because Darshan has no business being in the LCS and can't do anything but splitpush, and splitpushing right back is a valid and safe strategy.

I don't think Batman is ever going to win against Superman in an actual 1v1 deathmatch, since Superman is the physical manifestation of invincibility, broken OP and all.
This fight has been covered multiple times now in the comics and in some animated films. In every situation in which they don't come to an agreement/the "evil" one isn't cured of the mindcontrol or whatever -- Batman wins. Every time.
: Pentakills are cool with the huge, pretty icons with your face in the middle of them, but some people have suggested music playing in the background for your faction/city/champion. So far the pentakills I have are with (From first to last) {{champion:21}} {{champion:51}} {{champion:69}} {{champion:268}} I would love to hear a Bilgewater theme for if I get a pentakill with Miss Fortune, Gangplank, Fizz, etc Or a Shurima theme when I get a pentakill with Azir, Renekton, Xerath, Nasus, Cassiopeia, etc.
I don't play with in-game music, so I'd never experience this. It's a neat idea, though, and I wouldn't, like, complain if they did it.

: I played rumble right before he was disabled and the only bug I found was that I couldn't switch his ultimate to normal cast instead of quick cast. Also heard a rumor that he could insta kill with E directly after ult but that one seems silly.
That's the bug. Basically, Viktor E and Rumble R are all stuck on quickcast. This is clearly worth disabling them for, despite the fact that they can still be used effectively.
: Slightly off topic.. but I wish there were more aura items.. like remember runic bulwark? and remember when will of the ancient's gave a stacking spell vamp aura? XD Well for now to replace my runic bulwark, i'll just have to go {{champion:44}} {{item:3105}} :3
I think Riot has gone on record stating that they dislike auras in general, since it's a hidden power.
: I mean its definitely possible. The old Maokai originally came from the Twisted Treeline map rather than the Shadow Isles. From Maokai's old lore... "During a League match on the Twisted Treeline, Maokai, an ancient oak that stood above the upper jungle, spontaneously roared to life. Ripped from the natural balance by arcane forces, his sentience was forged in chaos. Before the Adjudicators of the League could step in and suppress him, he slew all six champions participating in the match." But because the IoW has been retconned, they would need to find some other way to give the character a backstory.
From what I remember, this section of Maokai's lore actually refers to a massive RP event that a bunch of rioters ran in chat rooms for players.
: It's nice to see the clarification on the Boards instead of over on Reddit. : AAtrox's Q knock up does not reduce the armor and magic resistance of crab。
Unlike most things, Aatrox's Q is not coded as a minion but as a Fear. This is why it, like Fiddle Fear, simply doesnt work to lower scuttlecrab's resistances. You'll just have to deal with it.
: Ekko being an AP champ feels off.
Based on the stats on the pbe right now, you only need 300 ap to get the full effect from his passive and ult. And his scalings are otherwise horrible. So as an AP Assassin, we're going to see him building like, say, Brand. With things like Liandry's instead of, like, Luden's. And because of his passive, we're going to see him building a little like Kayle, so Nashor's Tooth. Over all, I think AP Assassin works best for him balance wise. The only real issue is that we could see builds like {{item:3157}} + {{item:3151}} + {{item:3135}} + {{item:3115}} + the new {{item:3001}} (remember he has crazy sticking power) + {{item:3020}} -- where he winds up playing more like an AP Bruiser or a Tank than an assassin. I'm not sure that's a bad thing, though. A "utility assassin" is really just a mage, after all, so if he winds up fitting into a different niche it probably won't be horrible.

: What I basically get from the entirety of this is that the Institute was an ineffectual organisation that only operated on the good will of the other nations, which kinda defeats the point of the exercise doesn't it? - If the IoW is too strong it stifles conflict completely - If the IoW is too weak then it lacks the ability to actually do its job and might as well not even exist. From what you've said the IoW just seems too weak to actually do what it needs to do. If it's so easy for one nation to pull out and say "we're done" then it shatters the entire image of the institute. If Demacia did that then Piltover, Freljord, Bandle, Ionia, they'd all be thinking "wow they really did that. We may need to reconsider our options." And Noxus would be drooling over the prospect and get ready to pillage the institute for all its secrets. Where's the sense in that? The IoW HAS to be strong enough to actually be a threat. It HAS to have weight to it, but if what you've said is the case then it doesn't. As a note, the example you used for Kalamanda was kinda flawed in my eyes. The institute didn't go in as a neutral bystander and push two people in a night fight aside to stand between them, it had two guys come from behind them, get them to the floor and said "stop this right now or you're getting some broken bones." except in this case the broken bones were time-trapped soldiers having god knows what done to them.
>If Demacia did that then Piltover, Freljord, Bandle, Ionia, they'd all be thinking "wow they really did that. We may need to reconsider our options." There's a realworld example of exactly what you brought up here. It was the League of Nations. When the League of Nations failed, we got the UN (and some other groups, I guess). But even then, the principle was the same: These groups are only around because their member nations agree to what they say. The IoW was no different, and it could have led to some very compelling narratives -- if they found it too stifling, one of those narratives very well could have removed it.

: Have you had a look at the new skin's animations? His new R feels really good! He hasn't had a new skin in over a year and that was an eSports skin, the same amount of time since Zed's last skin and longer than Vi's last skin. We try to make sure champions get skins whether they are super popular or not because every champion is important. Of course I'm going to get ahead here by saying that some champions that are getting reworked right now are off the table, but aside from those few we really want to make skins for all the champions and if it's been a while then there are good reasons for it - there's no favouritism or conspiracy.

Ekko doesn't know about Viktor's own suffering and why is ambition is so strong, he perceives Viktor like the rest of the scum of Zaun; inhuman, uncaring, self righteous, in it for themselves. > > Ekko doesn't know Viktor well enough to know better like we do! That's a pretty key part of this to me to. Ekko doesn't have the big picture view we do as players, so what he sees when he looks at Viktor's potentially pretty different. Some of Viktor's most defining traits (highly intelligent, inventor, driven) are also things Ekko shares, so the clash of values assumedly offends Ekko more as a result than it does with other Zaunites he doesn't think highly of either.
I like this a lot. All I had to say. There are a lot of reasons, but I like this a lot.
: If the jungler ganks and takes the kills what's the problem?
I actually prefer the jungler get the kill. I _want_ my jungler to be fed. Just having a dead lane opponent is enough to give me an advantage in lane, but a fed jungler could potentially turn that losing top lane around or ensure that our botlane secures every dragon. Every time a jungler apologizes for securing a kill, I die a little inside. I'm terrible at jungling, but when someone who is good at it does it? I want them fed.
: No, dammit. I won't hop aboard the no-hype express. Witcher 3 is going to be amazing. I believe.
: Anyone else feel that Ekko's kit just doesn't feel right?
In the video, he doesn't keep all of the damage from before the warp. Just some of it. Remember that at one point his arm is broken, and after the warp it still _hurts_, but he can at least use it again.
: If a bunch of champs went to the same gym
I had a Sims 3 town composed almost entirely of League of Legends champions, and the odd other-video-game characters here or there to round things off and populate the place. Since they a huge number of them were athletic, you got to see this scene play out a lot. Here's how it went: Someone gets an expression and leaves it in the doorway without finishing it. Everyone gets trapped in the bathroom as a result, and passes out forever.

I can see you're blinded by the Piltoverian propaganda machine if you really think Viktor is evil. Overall, I don't really like any of the SSW skins. Thankfully, I'm not a fan of SSW so it doesn't matter much. Hopefully TSM's skins for winning Worlds this season will be much better, though.
: There's a whole playstyle when it comes to laning against darius. I mean, you could honestly beat him with any champion if you just know how to lane against him. It's just very hard if you're a pure melee to farm this lane. A couple days ago I beat darius with {{champion:412}}. He was by no means bad and even got a couple kills on me. They weren't enough for him to get out of control, especially when I knew his kit and knew that once I was behind, I needed to play it safer. He's extremely easy to gank and it's very easy freeze the lane on him. {{champion:412}} +{{item:3153}} + {{item:3068}} +{{item:3143}} Was all I needed to win 1v1's against him and also have much more utility for my team. Since darius does physical and a fair bit of magical damage, HP is best when on the defensive since it also helps against his execute damage. TLDR; You don't have to "win" this lane. Just don't lose horribly and stay relevant by roaming/keeping tabs on his location.
I was aware of that -- I've already been doing that. This thread implies that there is a counter to him, though. There isn't. The only "counter" to him is that he's worthless if he only gets 1 or 2 kills during laning phase. Dude's arguably just as toxic as Nasus.
: Darius walks into a bar
Out of curiosity, what are they? As far as I can tell, the only real way to win against him is to be tanky as hell, good at farming under turret, and then to hope for ganks to shut him down because he's such an incredible duelist early on.
: I found why Bronze is so bad.
ITT: \>reasons the majority of my losses are as adcs -- when both teams just dive, it's whichever adc that wasn't with the team until halfway through the fight that gets the kills \>reasons I usually win when I get support, despite being horrible at the role (If we can make it through my terrible laning phase, I will at least peel)
: {{champion:92}} The amount of her power tied to animation canceling is really dumb to keep around. Also having a hypersnowballing champ ALSO have one of the best pre-6 kits is just ASKING for them to be considered freelo, even if they're trash if they can't get fed.
She's very, very feast or famine at the moment is the big thing. Yes, she snowballs hard and is very strong as soon as she hits level 3. On the flip side to that, if she can't kill you and/or you manage to win a few trades she won't be able to safely cs and she's going to fall behind very quickly.
Gavran (NA)
: I've gone Teemo jungle before (that blind is surprisingly legit for clearing safely) and yes I would. His ganks are garbage, his objective control not a whole lot better. It's definitely fun for the Teemo player, and you get to start shrooming strategically way before a laning Teemo does, but it's also bad.
If the enemy team were heavily aa-based, I might be a little ok with it. A smart teemo will lane gank, waiting for the enemy to go in before dropping a blind and then going ham. I could see that being very effective if done well.
