: Yet, if the Yi won that fight, they would have made it a 4v5 and shoved down THEIR inhibitor and nexus. Thus would have outplayed the enemy jungler and made the game complete. What I hear from you when you say this...... When the rest of my team died, I was playing Mordekaiser and the enemy had a Yi jungle.... This was a while ago before morde rework.... The Yi tried to 1v1 me at the inhibitor, almost succeeded but i killed him and ghosted him and single handedly got a quadrakill. My team then was able to 4v5 as i sat at the inhib making sure no backdoors happened. This come back had absolutely nothing to do with me outplaying them, it was simply the enemy yi made the mistake of trying to 1v1 me and my ability to play Mordekaiser (who was a main of mine for a while) means absolutely nothing? Glass is half empty. Try to lighten up a bit. Wow that was.....not even close. The only part that was correct was Yi existed. The game that tilted me though was when we were basically both equal in turrets (I think we were up one more but it didn't matter), we were planning to fight at baron (or just fight as a group) when our jungler, Xin, decided to go bot and clear the wave (why he did this no one will ever know). The entire team pinged danger, back off, careful, everything under the sun to get him back to base. Chat was full of "GET BACK YOU'RE GONNA GET CAUGHT OUT!" or something similar. The Xin keeps clearing the wave, Yi comes down and Xin engages. Yi has more dmg and more attack speed not to mention true dmg. They basically right-click each other and Yi wins the fight. Famous last words of Xin: "K guess I can't 1v1 yi." (he had been trying all game and been failing.) They then proceeded to push us in and win. Imo, that wasn't because of us, it was because our Xin made a dumb mistake that could've easily been avoided and we could do nothing about it. They shouldn't've won that (we had been winning teamfights but getting pushed in whenever we got picked off.) but they did because of our xin. I just assumed Yi's trying to go for others and failing happened in a lot of bronze games lol.

OH MY GOD I gotta tell you this one game I had- We were in champ select and it looked like it was gonna be Lux mid. Me, being the awesome dragon I am, pick the sasstastic Celestial being known as Aurelion Sol. There's one more pick and it turns out it's not Lux mid it's Akali mid and Lux supp. So I'm like well shit son this isn't gonna be much fun. How wrong I was. The Akali could barely cs and whenever she was able to get 1 she'd lose about half her health. She was stuck under turret all game and she FINALLY hits 6. She engages all 3 charges of her ult on me and we're right near my turret. I get behind her just enough and ult her into turret killing her and me living with 100 or so health. Next thing in All chat: "Since when can he throw you?!????!!!!" (me) "Since always? Where have you been." In that time, the password could get changed or something else could happen that interferes with figuring it out. In all cases-it's just not worth it, no matter the length or special characters used. They don't decrypt individual passwords. They decrypt entire databases simultaneously. So they run through the list over and over and over again, and if your password is weak, yours is one of the first to crack (and if your password is strong, it remains in the 10% that never get cracked). Once they crack about 80%-90% of the stolen passwords, they use them to do 3 things: 1) They use the password and the linked email address to see if you use the same (or similar) passwords on any other social media, paypal, banking, etc, and if you do they now have access. 2) Study. The millions and millions of passwords that have been cracked on multiple websites have given hackers the ability to study human behavior. Even if you're using a method with numbers and symbols to make your password "secure" - a lot of people use those same methods, and in the same ways. So hackers study how people manipulate passwords to be "secure but memorizable" and then incorporate those methods into their algorithms, since they now have millions upon millions of data points to do this. Every database that gets cracked gives hackers more tools to crack more passwords more quickly. The only actual secure password is a randomly generated one using a password generator (ie: one that cannot be memorized by the human brain). 3) They could sell the database to people who actually have interest in League accounts. The people they sell it to will likely be one of those websites that sells "fresh level 30 accounts" to other players, who will then sell your account to a permabanned or new player, and your account is now gone forever. Please don't comment on password security when you really have no fucking clue. There is actually an epidemic at the moment because of all the recent databases that have been hacked and decrypted in the past 10 years or so. A lot of people think their passwords are secure, but they're not. FYI: mine would be in the 10% that is impossible to decrypt, since it is randomly generated using a password manager and does not use any methods that make it "easy to memorize" that can be used against me. Yours is one of the ones that would be cracked on day 1 after the database got stolen. EDIT: here's an informative article: https://arstechnica.com/security/2012/08/passwords-under-assault/

And fine, they can take a year to decrypt mine, I don't care. By the time that's over I'll be forced to change my password anyway. But I'll outline the point I made above earlier since you missed it with that spiel. * _It's. Not. Worth. It._ But, at this point, I'm done arguing with you. Just like it's not worth it to spend days, months, or even years hacking a database that should never be hacked in the first place, it's not worth it to try to prove this all to you that sure the password length matters when decrypting it, but in the end, who cares, they'll figure it out anyway if they mean to. FYI: my password is a mix of things so it's probably more secure than yours (or did you actually believe it was Charlie1234?). Just because it's hard to memorize doesn't mean it's impossible. I had a friend who could memorize his 50 character password that was a mix of letters and numbers. Y'know, I think you underestimate humans, saying they can't memorize that type of password. We might not have been able to before but, while some of us seem to have de-evolved, others have actually gotten smarter and now we can memorize them. And since hackers study how we manipulate passwords, that means that one way or another, yours would be cracked too (probably faster than mine tbh). So again, stop acting all Mr. High and Mighty and "I'm invincible." because we all know you're not. You're only making an asshole and fool out of yourself (as can be seen in the downvotes). Your password MIGHT be a bit safer than the rest of ours, but I can guarantee that it'd probably be cracked in the same amount of time as ours (unless like I said its 50 characters and its a mix of every character. In which case, again, not worth the time.) Another FYI: In the 3 seasons that I've been on League, I haven't seen an outcry of people saying "HELP! MY PASSWORD GOT STOLEN!", in other words-**nothing has happened** (which means that Riot's database is pretty well protected).

: It's actually bad, because: 1) Password on account creation is less secure than on password change, since when they got hacked they updated "on password change" but not "on account creation." So if I want an actual long password, I have to create an account with a dummy password then change it after it's created, since account creation won't let me use a long password. 2) League has had their database hacked in the past. So enjoy getting rekt.

: While I understand why it's annoying and I know the responsibility of this is upon the user, you do realize should anyone get interested in getting into your account, the more ordinary the password is the easier it is to generate possible passwords? Every special character and every extra character increases the time of execution of such algorith drastically and makes it closer to the state of unreasonable time.
> [{quoted}](name=Nostormo,realm=EUNE,application-id=cIfEodbz,discussion-id=w49IEgsN,comment-id=0001,timestamp=2017-04-15T19:42:02.392+0000) > > While I understand why it's annoying and I know the responsibility of this is upon the user, you do realize should anyone get interested in getting into your account, the more ordinary the password is the easier it is to generate possible passwords? Every special character and every extra character increases the time of execution of such algorith drastically and makes it closer to the state of unreasonable time. It's funny because our teacher talked about this one time. All sites require your password be at least 6 characters in length. Say my password was 123abcde. How easily would you actually guess that? And to create an algorithm to do that that means that the machine has to test 36^6 different passwords to test all possible combinations. Even if it was only 4 characters thats still 36^4 (36 being 26 letters and 10 numbers), and thats not including the capitals. So, even if you created a script or algorithm, nowadays no matter what, its still gonna take too much time thats worth it to hack into a single account. If you do the math, in all instances, it's not worth it unless it can be narrowed down to 10 or less things. For example: My password is the name of my pet rabbit with 4 numbers at the end that signify its birthday. Then say its name is...Charlie. So we've gotten 7/11 of the characters right. Now you've got 4^4 instances to try. So 81 possible combinations. Which, as you said, unless you write a script to do it, isn't worth the time. And all sites usually lock you out after 5 or 10 tries. TL;DR you're technically right, but unless you know the specifics of the password, no matter what it'll always be an unreasonable amount of time even with the scripts.

The truth to this is Too. **Damn.** **_High._** I literally went out to defend our base one time, got promptly deleted by the fed enemy team and one of my teammates went "Report X troll inting." I started explaining that I wasn't inting and they literally said: "Did you just go out there intentionally?" "Yes." "And you died so you're inting." Like wtf. : Loud Crowds Are Helping Players In Game
Already debunked by a rioter: _I was in the battle theater during game 3 and the crowd was getting pretty amped up. We're confident in our audio solutions, but I did want to safety check the environment becuase it's so intimate in there and can get loud on broadcast. I checked with the referees who told me the players weren't affected by the crowd audio. They reviewed the teams' comms and verified it was clean. After the game, I met with both teams to ensure that they had a uncompromised game play experience. Both teams confirmed they didn't hear any of the Moon chants or Lemon chants. Over the last few seasons, we have invested a lot of time and energy into making sure our audio solution is secure.
