While I agree with you that there are 45 hours in a day, and 45 x 11 is indeed about 500, I don't think it's reasonable to play 45 hours a day for 11 days straight.

It's interesting, having this perspective makes me think they really did a beautiful job designing the first set. This new set is just a far far worse product, it's pretty dire.

: Gaining 75 LP overall after several hours of playing only to lose it all in just 1 loss...
: just got to gold, can agree the skill of other playes didnt improve much, but there is simply an easy answer to why, at silver 1 as 7th place i lost about 20-30lp and being 2nd game me about 50lp while being first about 70lp the higher you get the less lp you get so eventually it would even up. and people with average of negative losses would lose more then win, so eventually i would assume there is people who are much better. 2. battle outcome isnt an issue at all. there is way to much rng to make it Always play out in one way there is 25% crit on all units there are demons that burn mana there is glacials, and yordels so you just cant make it Obivious who would win. and its fine i would argue making it Dynamic would make it boring and wont help at all. 3. the AI isnt really that bad i played dota auto chess and compered to auto chess riot at least made it obvious what you units would target with their spells (in some cases) while in dota auto chess it was pure random, and really anoying tho they should fix MF ult targeting because the last time i got her she would ult one enemy instead of the whole team. 4. about low and high skill cap, my problem is that, players who save no gold, and waste it all up, instead of using it on levels, or just to get to 50 gold and get interest, get rewarded to much for it, getting lvl 3 champion is just much better, then getting extra unit (in most cases). also leveling up to level 8-9 is way way to expensive, and i just got to the conclusion not worth it. you better off spend those 100 gold on getting level 3. why is leveling from 8-9 is like 80 gold? that is crazy expensive, not to mention that even leveling from 7 to 8 is crazy expensive but combine it with level 9 and you just gave up about 150 gold with interest. you need 30 turns of interest to just get that much gold Riot pls cut off the cost of level 8 and 9 in about 30%-50% and the celling and would just get much better imagine this a player who waste all his gold for rerolls will have 3-4 lvl 3 champs and get to lvl 7 at best. now another player who saved money can much more easily get to lvl 9 get extra 2 units and finnaly have a chance without a single lvl 3

I want to clarify that I don't think the outcome of a fight should be "predictable", but the movement and behavior of units should be predictable. You see the difference?

This is honestly so funny lol, I had to try a t-test and apparently if you go 6-35, there is a 99.99985% chance that you are a below average player for your elo. No hate at all, just funny asf
: What Crit Chance does in LoL, and why it's probably here to stay
With all due respect, this is all completely wrong. The reason crit is necessary is that it prevents ADCs from shredding turrets while still keeping them relevant in PvP. So yes, crit is necessary, but there is no reason it shouldn't be replaced by a multiplier. With any knowledge of probability one would know that replacing crit with a multiplier would not change overall damage output at all, it would just make it more consistent and predictable. This would make for easier trading, as you would be able to know exactly how much damage is coming out. This would not be inherently OP... In fact, if you think about it, AD is already an auto attack multiplier, and a myriad of champs don't build AD. To sum this up, the (only?) reason crit exists is to make ADCs strong against other champs but not TOO strong against turrets.

: I do agree, but there does need to be some context. There are a lot of times where mechanics are compared and the arguments for a difference in the functionality of the mechanics doesn't make sense. For example, Riot has made Skarner's ult break when an enemy leaves a certain range or breaks vision, and the argument they used for it was that it gave counterplay to a displacement and ensured that flashes could not be blown for nothing. The problem is, that exact argument applies equally well to Darius. The design principle they made the decision on isn't being applied equally, and it leads to frustrating gameplay. I think the question of "why does x champion get y, and m champion get y with z benefit, when z benefit was kept away from x champion for g reason that applies equally well to m champion" is a fair (if overvariabled) question.

I like the post, first of all. I'm not sure I quite follow the skill shot natural law, but there is one I would like to add. Literally the first thing most people probably learn is that you can always auto attack an enemy by right clicking them, which fizz clearly makes untrue with his E.

: Yes, I make a funny name to smurf with my friend that created an account (I'm not going to play full masteries against a bunch of noobs...that's no fun). Anyway, LaceUp23 is the name if you want to see it. Lolskill says I'm >40% better than the average Fiddles :D. But I don't consider him strong in the jungle. I think I've played against Fid 2 times the last like 50 games. Granted, I play him a lot, but nobody picks him before me on my team or the other team. Being last pick, doesn't really go against 2 out of 50 games of seeing him lol. When I do face him, I don't die to him because he is fairly easy to avoid. Just ward your lane. He can't gank you then. Just ward midgame and he can't ult into a teamfight well. If he does, CC him as soon as he lands, since no Fid goes Zhonyas as soon as they land...they usually E-Q the carry and do some damage before going Zhonyas. So, CC him right away and nuke him. He is really squish squish. I chose to main Fid because when I started playing in S3, I could play him every game. No one picked him and no one banned him. Literally played him 793 out of 890 total games played in ranked. Even with that being the case, he got nerfed in a big big way with 0 compensation. I still play him every game lol. Now, new jungle roles around and any champ with good sustain is too strong. It is not a case of Fiddles being strong, but the jungle...and just like WW, they nerfed Fid again in a big way with 0 compensation because of jungle pushing champs out. Now I think more champs are being played jungle as people learn that they can, but the knee jerk reaction to Fiddles stayed. I main Fiddles, and play him a lot and think I am pretty good with him and jungle is my most hated role. That should say something about his jungle play lol.

And again, after nerfs his support lane is pretty rough, so I don't even play Fiddles support anymore (coming from a over 400 games Fid this season player) and his jungle is decent, but easy to shut down...so I wouldn't say god tier.

: Fiddles needs to be in a tier for top lane. He does pretty well up there. I think he should be tier 1 for mid lane since he counters a lot of ones that are currently strong. Players, and play styles differ but with accurate data they can understand why a champion might do well in a tier or ask the questions preluding it to determine what type of champions they might safely start with. I agree, I'm a very statistic driven person as well. The only issue is many low elo, or even just younger players in general might have a hard time analyzing the data and making decisions based off of it.

: Yeah, because Scam Newton, the amazing athlete from Cow College is dominating the immobile defenders in Carolina every week. Manning, Brady and Rodgers are gunslingers and they dominate the league. Vick isn't a player that we'll remember 50 years down the road, like we did Starr, Namath, Staubach, Bradshaw and more. Bad analogy, he didn't change the game at all. Also who are you trying to compare to Vick? Yasuo? Kalista? I don't get it at all. Mobility is safe and easy to play, so it's gonna be preferred over immobile champions even if they do more damage. When I first started play League Miss Fortune was who I main'd so I have always been comfortable playing things that are immobile. Which is why I gained Jinx in ranked for my AD carry and Twisted Fate for my AP mid, but a lot of people who don't know how to properly position will fail when playing those champions. Everyone complaining about the mobility creep needs to realize that the game has to evolve. Riot can make more complex and diverse kits now. Abilities are becoming more unique as opposed to years ago. Just look how derpy a lot of the champions looked. The games gonna evolve, you just have to evolve with it.

I think you're looking a little too deep into this, but I think with Kalista, we've reached a point that should never have been reached. She has an attack speed scaling dash, and a semi global teleport. It needs to stop here (or maybe it doesn't, maybe I'm wrong)
