Azir buys it simply because no other item gives him AP and attack speed. No other champ is forced to make such a hard trade off on an item. I'm just saying, I wish there was a way he could make full use of the item within normal use of his kit. Most Azir players don't use his regular auto attacks vs champs.

The point im trying to make is that, mages in general should not be using health as a defense, they should have more creative defense items like AD does. Health is a tank stat.

I think it's worth noting that Lich Bane should def be built before Nashor's Tooth. While the on hit, AP, and CDR are nice, the Attack Speed is some dead weight in itemisation. While the items synergize well together, depending on a champs core build and if you build an item or two depending on your enemies, Nashor may be worth less than another late game 5th or 6th item.

Well no. Nashor actually help lichbane in the build with the attack speed. It lets her auto attack after ever E where as with out nashors, she only auto attacks after every 2 E. Now the more she can auto attack the quicker she can get reset lichbane spellblade intervals. I've tested it on the practice tool. On a 4 second Q EEEEE combo, she can proc lichbane 2-3 time with nashors tooths, where as without it, she can only proc lichbane 1-2 in the same 4 seconds span. The 2 of them together gives an like extra 150% ap on 4 seconds

: Cassio doesnt feel very fair to fight
As a cass player, you are correct. But most midlaners have CC. When I play her, I'm just waiting for lvl 2 to go all in, but you have to be careful because if you don't do everything right, she will be left with no mana after a failed kill attempt. Here's why. She uses a lot of mana for a lvl 2 kill. She usually has to land 2 q's and about 5-6 E's to do it plus ignite/thunderords. Hence, she needs to be at full mana to do it. If she misses just one q or goes all in with like 80% mana, the result is a failed kill attempt. If the opponent stops her with CC and backs off, she doesn't have enough mana for a kill if they pop their potions. You need to do everything right to get that lvl 2 kill. And it really a matter if the opponent fights back. Its not that hard to run from a pre 6 cass.

: AP itemization is complete garbage
I would love if they reworked {{item:3042}} into an ap alternative to {{item:3165}}. It would have some CDR and a hard cap that prevented champs like {{champion:13}} {{champion:134}} from completely abusing it. And its not like AD champs would miss the item. Only person who uses it now is {{champion:81}}. Where as you plenty of mages who can use it. {{champion:103}} {{champion:245}} {{champion:131}} {{champion:4}} {{champion:69}} {{champion:13}} {{champion:134}} {{champion:76}} . Fun fact. {{item:3042}} back in like season 1/2 the item originally did magic damage until {{champion:13}} ruined it for everyone. But his new reworked kit can't abuse it like before.
