: Aphelios has a kit that makes all other ADCs inferior
Aphelios is such a wasted opportunity. They could have designed him so that he's able to max 2 or 3 guns completely, with maybe a few leftover points going into other guns. That way, you would be able to specialize him. But instead... you simply pump stats into him. It's so mindless.

: What's really sad is that the majority of these can be explained by corporate greed. Patch by patch, season by season, it's more and more apparent Riot is run by businessmen rather than by players/gamers like it used to be.
Yes, perfectly said. - Buffs to champions along side skin releases. - Gameplay changes that make the game extremely fun as a spectator sport, but not at all to play. - New champions that completely eclipse old ones to draw in new players. The game used to be about the players, the experience. Now it feels like every single decision is about the bottom dollar.
: Worst designed champion?
Maybe I'm in the minority here but I think {{champion:83}} is the worst designed champion - both pre and post rework. His design is so narrow. Yorick is completely dependent on minion waves: Kill creeps, get ghouls, keep pushing. He can't do anything outside of a side lane. Oh and of course {{champion:157}} , obviously.

: Can we get another Monster Champion already??!!
I think one of the main reason that monster champions are less popular is because they are difficult to relate to. Humanoids can be easily cosplayed. I doubt you'll ever Sneaky dressed as Rek'Sai.
: Co-op vs AI is flooded by botting
I've seen a lot of bot accounts in intermediate bots lately. I actually enjoy playing 3v7. It's a fun challenge when going for First Win of the Day. But I understand your frustration.
: Bullshit account merger
Riot Games has made some stupid decisions in the past but this one takes the cake. I refuse to make a Riot account until they address this issue.
: Why am I not allowed to keep my old Username for login anymore
All they had to do was tell me that my email will be used for my Riot Games account and I would've been fine with that. But now I have to use another name because my username isn't globally unique and Riot decided to jam everything into one? This is so fucking ridiculous. I think I'm done with this company.

: Treeline: you will be missed
Honestly, the only thing I'll miss is the team size. I always have 2 friends online and we've had so much fun playing Twisted Treeline over the past few years. The team size allows for different compositions to succeed - Tanks are a bit stronger since you don't have 5 opponents whittling him down. I won't miss the map all that much though. Nor will I miss the weird items .. err I take that back, Moonflair Spellblade was amazing.

If you go to your Loot tab (The little square icon, upper right, near your currency), you'll find all of your goodies. If you click a champion shard it should display some options: - Disenchant into Essence (Blue Essence is the currency used for unlocking champions and such) - Rent for 7 Days (Unlocks the champion temporarily) - Upgrade to champion permanent (Unlocks the champion permanently) There is another use for champion shards which is not displayed. Once you start getting good with a champion or two, you'll eventually acquire Mastery Tokens. You can use Champion Shards and Mastery Tokens to unlock a new mastery level for a champion. The other loot I'm not sure about :x Read it boy.
: Why are people so soft
When a person goes 2/10, they generally have a good understanding that they played badly. They don't need someone telling them so. It greatly diminishes the possibility of a comeback. And it's just rude. That's not how you should treat people. :U

: Idk man, she's a healthier champions now. Her early game wasn't just nerfed it was deleted but her late game is the strongest hyper carry in the game. Her playstyle is still the same too it's just her range is no longer tied to E cooldown and she can be stronger late game without making her an incredible laner thus giving her no weaknesses. Also the ult changes are just the refresh to Zealous and the magic damage explosion, one of which would do nothing in TFT cause she doesn't get her passive and the second one would be OP since she ults quite often on TFT xD. Take Kleptomancy and play like a skittish deer during the laning phase only poking with E to get kleptomancy procs. Even if you're some CS down if you don't die several times you basically just hardcarry the game later. Just gotta hope the enemy team doesn't close the game out on your teammates while you're busy scaling.

With the rework, they pushed those extremes even more. You see that as a good thing? :o I would have preferred to see her normalized somewhat: Made stronger in the early game and take away some of her insane late game power. I dunno, I guess we are expecting different things here. I don't like that they polarized her to such an extreme.

Is it 26 for every champion at every cost level? No 1-cost : 39 of each 2-cost : 26 of each 3-cost : 21 of each 4-cost : 13 of each 5-cost : 10 of each You can find cheat sheets for this stuff if you google around. Just be aware that the old ones are still out there too. If you find one that says you have 70% chance at lvl 3 to find 1-cost units and 30% for 2-cost, that one is outdated. It's now 65% for 1-cost, 30% for 2-cost and 5% for 3-cost.
I think you mean 65% at level 3. That's at least according to the chart released July 1st. I hope that's the most current one at least lol. It's still 100% for levels 1 and 2, they simply removed level 1 from the chart since you can't make purchases at that level. So the updated chart looks a bit different than the old one.

: she isnt exactly "fun" but she's alright when youre in the mood to play her I guess? I only play her because ive been playing her for years, but if youre maybe a new player or something I can see how she would seem extremely boring compared to how champs are made these days.
I myself am not a new player - have been playing since season 2. But I had a really bad ARAM game with Zyra yesterday which reminded me that I've never had an enjoyable game with her LOL. Hence the reason for this thread XD
: Not a zyra main but yeah I enjoy playing zyra unless when there is a Zed or a fizz on enemy team then she's not that fun I think zyra is troublesome to play against she can build a perma army of plants she deals too much damage when you build her right and she has a lot of cc You can pretty much outplay any champ on the rift with the right positioning with few exceptions like an annoying fizz or Zed who can dodge everything due to their kits
Ya that doesn't sound fun lol XD

: As an old main Swain and Malzahar before their reworks, i don't know what to play. HELP!
Malzahar feels amazing, don't give up on him. I know he doesn't feel the same, but he is great. :) New Mordekaiser feels somewhat like old Swain: Tanky DoT-Mage with some burst. Other than that, I can't think of a lot of champions that have similar play style, maybe Vladimir or Cho'Gath. They both have a ton of versatility in their kit and play pretty well as tanky mages.

: While TFT lures fans of the game type into LoL, I must say that's it's quite obvious when you're playing against a newcomer who enjoys TFT more than LoL. As their decisions often don't make any sense for their champion, and their builds are like their TFT builds. Also the way they position their champion or choose their champion prior to a match startup. It definitely is affecting Ranked Summoner's Rift Draft Pick, and the players joining there are choosing terrible Champion picks to a point it's obvious they are playing with no idea what actual Rift LoL is like, competitive efforts wise. LoL has always had some bugs since it launched, and can be frustrating even for someone who knows what to do.
I haven't run into a Pyke purchasing a Morellonomicon yet, but I'll keep my eyes open for it XDD

: Glacial champions need to be reworked
I think that the freezing effect should have some type of diminishing return. Maybe the freeze lasts 75% as long for subsequent applications. Example: Volibear auto freezes someone for 2 seconds, Ashe arrow freezes the same target, now for 1.5 seconds, another Volibear auto freezes the same target, now for 1.1 seconds. Glacial feels almost balanced at this point though, so they would need something in order to compensate for this big of a change. Maybe like +5% chance to freeze at each level. I dunno.

: Riot: We work hard to give players what they want.
I had a game earlier today where I went on an 8-round win streak despite having only 3 item components. The guy who went on a losing streak, but got 7 item components, went on to destroy the rest of us. The only thing he lacked was HP. He didn't lack money (at least not much, in thanks to the lose streak bonus). --- Games like that are infuriating. There is no plausible way to win. There is PLENTY of RNG in the game without the number of items being random.
: if she plays against a team of casters then she can be strong. otherwise she's a waste of space because she can't tank or blow up large teams. we'll see though. there are some interesting new combos coming out of the update.
I find her really strong against Rangers or Draven comp. Creating 3 extra targets is so much extra time they have to spend attacking useless targets. "She can't tank" I think that's a problem with all shapeshifters, not just Elise. They all fail as a front liner (since they need time to transform). Ya the gunslingers look pretty sick with the new update. XD
: On her own, she's really not worth much. Even investing into her (rageblade/PD/Claw) she dies pretty quickly and doesn't really do much on her own, even after she shapeshifts. But here's where you're right: In the *earliest* stages of the game, if you get ranger/demon comp (varus, elise, vayne) then when she summons her spiderlings, you're actually dealing more *player damage* in the early game. So...she could be seen as sort of a cheesy punish to people trying to econ or sandbag from the very beginning, or a "noob killer" who thrashes people that cant get anything going for them at the early stages of the game. But I wouldn't keep her past wolves for sure. I would say krugs, but if you have her upgraded to Lv2, you can keep her to wolves. Past then, even fully leveled, she's dead weight.
I agree, she's an early game character. With her cost reduction I can see her becoming an extremely powerful early game champion due to the fact that her level 2 will sell for full value.
: some b.s with 3star champs and items and some suggestions.
Ughhhh I REALLY hate this. I had the same thing happen upgrading a unit from 2 to 3. They would've had 4 items after combining so the game dropped one of them to the bench. There is no indication which will be dropped. I can't tell if it was the last item created or first or what. Undo sounds like it would be difficult to implement. **I would recommend simply causing ALL ITEMS to fall of the character if combining would cause them to exceed the cap.**

SEKAI (OCE)
: It's so horribly designed it thresholds not even on %HP, but FLAT HP, which also for some reason scales on 3 separate stats; level, bonus AD, and lethality, so it means that it scales into late and gets stronger when Pyke stacks typical AD assassin items. Good luck being executed at half HP. Better yet, it ignores shield. If your HP checks the threshold test. Kiss goodbye and no amount of shield will save you because reasons. And it resets! The show never ends! What's next? And it duplicates kill gold, too! So Pyke can't even run into the gold-sink problem that high kill threat champs are fundamentally balanced by, where they can sit on too much gold they don't even use leading to a starved and lost team, since he basically just duplicates kill gold for his team. Isn't that just lovely... ... And absolutely appalling?
Wait, what? The threshold being flat hp is actually a good thing. It means you can counter him by purchasing HP items.
: NERF. FUNNEL. COMP. IN. 3V3.
Remove support items? This is a really cool idea. I don't even like supports on Summoner's Rift LOL. Wish we could get Moonflair Spellblade on the Rift ... such a cool item.

: Is RNG so bad that people are cheating to avoid it?
A lot of players are rolling all of their money early. I think this is a very poor strategy in most cases but it explains why they are finding more matches than you. Protecting a win streak is really the only reason to ever go deep on rolling that early. I had a game earlier today where 4 different players had Kassadin 2 by the end of the first creep round. So ya, sometimes weird random stuff happens lol. **Couple of small tips:** Always always always grab a 2 cost unit from the first carousel. (2 cost with negatron cloak >>> vayne with recurve bow, nidalee with spatula) After the first creep round, you should usually sell your 2 cost unit and buy four 1 cost units, giving yourself the greatest chance to match. Maybe you're already aware of this though :)

: How Riot Makes Ranked Treeline Terrible
There are not enough players playing Ranked Twisted Treeline, so the search parameters must widen so you're not stuck in queue for 30 minutes. Ranked TT is my favorite game mode, so I feel your pain. Just gotta deal with it though. :\
: Increase the Bench Size, Please
I would love just 2 more slots. It's always so frustrating when you're holding onto some amount of T1 and T2 units of two or three champions and you're forced to sell one of them in order to complete the other. I guess maybe that's part of the strategy but it just feels bad. You're rolling for less units than you think you are sometimes, due to bench space.
: Too toxic
ARAM games are the exception. I think players have finally accepted that it's a "fun" game mode and take it very lightly. I rarely see toxic behavior in ARAM, maybe one in every twenty games. :D

: RNG (team tactics)
Are you paying attention to the drop rates? This could be playing a bit factor in your games. For example, once you reach level 6 your odds of seeing Tier 1 units goes down dramatically. You can't even purchase Tier 4 units until level 5. Are you buying units in pairs when you're supposed to? I feel like you're either exaggerating or just not paying attention to the drop rates / specific times you need to shop. But I do suspect that making 3 star units will become more difficult as the champion pool increases over time. I am quite curious to see how they will deal with that, when the time comes.

I didn't enjoy the weird minigames that were included. But I certainly think it is the best map they've ever designed. And it had a definite end time, which was amazing. You reach a certain point and both nexus become completely exposed. No guessing when the game will end. Ya I miss it too. :c
: Snowballing should be something that is achieved
GIVE ME A BREAK There have never been more ridiculous comeback mechanics in the game than there are right now. It's already absurd how much free gold you get for a shutdown. Opponent gets two kills, is able to keep you off the creep wave for a little while and gets 30 cs ahead, all you have to do is kill him once with your jungle and you're nearly back to even. It's absolutely ridiculous... and you're complaining that snowballing is a problem. I can't even...

I understand the idea of getting every current champion buffed into a reasonable state. The problem is, once this happens; the game didn't get anymore fun. Sure you have another champion you can play seriously in Ranked but ultimately you've already played that champion before. You're not excited or intrigued by a new play-style like you potentially would be with a new champion. The art of making a fun champion is complicated. You can spend 2 years creating 1 champion and it can still be a massively overthought failure. Or you can be much more loose and accepting of your initial ideas and release 20 or 30 champions in the same timespan. Some major successes and some that need a little work. In the end the 20 or 30 champions being added instead of the 1 overthought champion, will make for a better game.

With reworks, they TRY to stay as true to the original design of the champion as possible. So in most cases, yes, you're right, they still end up being very similar to the previous champion we've played - it's nothing new really. Perhaps I'm in the minority but I just don't get any enjoyment out of new champion releases anymore. I switched over to playing Twisted Treeline with a couple of friends about 6 months ago and it's been a blast. Summoners Rift is the most dull and boring experience, I hate that map so much. New maps, rotating game modes, that's what I would like to see, not more champions. I dunno :D just my thoughts.
: My teammates often don't care about objectives
Unfortunately, bronze is filled with many stubborn players. You'll find that once you approach Gold elo, the players become a lot more responsive to leadership. It's going to be a real struggle to get out of bronze as a support main. :( I would recommend switching to mid lane Vel'Koz for a while. He's really powerful in mid, especially if you're already comfortable on him. Otherwise, if you wanna keep trying what you're doing, maybe try typing a bit. It can sometimes be more effective than pings. "Next drake is fire, we need this one. Jungle please come in 2 mins." I dunno XD Maybe you're already trying that lol
: The Myth of to Many Champions
I think you're partially correct - New and exciting champions do not hurt the game, agreed. The problem is that we have so many outdated champions already, and Riot is extremely hit or miss when it comes to creating a kit that is interesting and enjoyable. I don't enjoy champion releases anymore mainly due to the fact that most champion reworks have been such a grave failure. I would like to see a larger team committed to reworks and less new champions being released until we can get the current ones into a reasonable state. But I know the company needs to make money, so perhaps that's an unrealistic stance. P.S. please fix the title: too, not to. :D
