Now, we all say that balance is just bad. I think the biggest downfall is the Runes Reforge. It has taken out the possibility for us, players, to adapt for the matchup or the situation. I remember taking ad runes +15ad, 9 armor 12 magic resist for a mage but going ap. Just for the sake of punishing melee players when they wanna last hit and also having the mana regen... I'm not asking for you to get good in Co-Op. I'm asking for you to get at least some idea of what your champion does so it significantly lessens the chance of feeding in PvP. It could be getting a feed of skillshots; the speed, the width, the distance, the shape, some degree of AA timing, things like getting to know the champion rather than going in blind. At least that's what I always do.

: Skin Trading?
If it's literally anything that may decrease their profit by a single dollar they won't implement it.
: whats a safe toplaner?
This is gonna be an underrated pick but I highly, HIGHLY recommend picking up Quinn. She's an extremely safe pick who counters most top lane bullies that aren't "overly oppressive in the meta right now" (e.g. Urgot, he's so strong that he counters everyone at this stage). Not only, but her mechanics aren't too hard to pick up. Once you get to around level 11, no matter how fed or unfed you are, you'll be a massive macro threat as you can roam like no one else. Only other champion who can match her roam could potentially be Talon with his wall jumping. In the early game it'd be rare for you to be bullied out of lane. Most people don't know how to play against Quinn simply because she's not played much, so people generally try to match her range with another ranged top laner. If so, the lane is neutral at worst. In the mid game, you can roam like no one else as said before and thus exert massive global pressure. Your W will be insanely useful as you can very literally scout out an area by quickly flying around and revealing vision in said areas. People generally don't have the reaction time to react to Quinn flying in and out for a quick scout. In the late game, if things are going well, you'll be able to participate every fight no matter where it is on the map. If things are going even, you can split push with ease and safety since you can scout and are ranged, and if some teamfight does break out 4v5 you can get there without a sweat. If things aren't going well, you can literally use your mobility to push all three lanes if needed. Overall, Quinn's two biggest strengths are a steamroll lane at best and a neutral lane at worst, and enough mobility to literally be everywhere at once. If you know how to lane well as Quinn and how to macro mid to late, you'll be unstoppable or at least one of if not the highest contributor to any game. So if this sounds appealing to you, definitely pick her up. {{champion:133}} {{champion:133}} {{champion:133}} {{champion:133}} {{champion:133}} {{champion:133}} {{champion:133}} {{champion:133}}

: Sooo...who to buy first?
If you're only level 10, I'd actually suggest something very different from other people. Literally buy whichever champion looks coolest to you. You have so much to learn that trying to decide on which champion fits your current playstyle is a bit futile. You 'think' you know your playstyle but trust me, the more you learn and progress in knowledge the more it'll change so trying to 'nail down a playstyle and buy a champion for that' right now is too early. Realistically you won't have to do that until maybe at the earliest level 20 to 25 onwards. Besides, eventually you'll have all the champions anyway. I started off loving AD melee duelists/bruisers. Now I almost exclusively play enchanter/control mage supports which is arguably the direct opposite to what I started off with. My only real blunt recommendation would be to avoid certain champions like Sylas, Fiora, Azir, Zoe etc as these champions are either far more mechanically demanding or require far more general game knowledge than normal champions to perform at their potential.
: New player being abused
There are three major kinds of players you'll meet at your level: 1 - People same level as you 2 - People playing on a lower level account than their main due to smurfing 3 - People playing on a lower level account than their main due to main getting banned Unfortunately due to moderating smurfs/toxicity in lower levels being practically impossible, it will just be something you're going to have to (and we all have) go through.
: Selfishness is probably one of the bigger reasons why people don't like it. They want to secure the kills and look at how much damage they did in the end game lobby. They don't want to assist someone else in getting kills and doing big damage. I can about guarantee that anyone who ever had a complaint about a ks doesn't like playing support. The next reason would be people don't know what they are supposed to be doing and think it is boring. If they don't help their ADC last hit, constantly look at the map, or work on zoning the enemy either through positioning or spell placement then they are just standing there doing nothing which would actually be boring.
> [{quoted}](name=AlienPrimate,realm=NA,application-id=yrc23zHg,discussion-id=UEsYG0ov,comment-id=0003,timestamp=2019-04-02T06:08:50.532+0000) > > Selfishness is probably one of the bigger reasons why people don't like it. I can about guarantee that anyone who ever had a complaint about a ks doesn't like playing support. To reinforce, support has the lowest/hardest potential to have "immediate glory". Not only is it hard for supports to make a play with as much "glory factor" as other roles (could be some kind of massive mechanical outplay), they also don't get the opportunity to as often as other roles; for example every game on average the ADC has perhaps 10x more potential to get a pentakill than a support.

: dunkmaster ivern is the REAL april fools joke
I honestly don't know how many times I've said this but: Riot has literally 2 of the easiest ways to make Ivern skins or skins for any plant themed champions (e.g. Zyra) MAKE SEASON BASED SKINS You could literally milk money from us by making things like Springwood, Summerwood, Autumnwood and Winterwood ivern, even make them holiday themed like having Winterwood Ivern/Christmas Tree Ivern or just outright make a legendary/ultimate skin having the player able to pick which they want in game and tie it to some kind of progress function. Elementalist Lux already does this. Ivern could get progress by how many camps he does or how many buffs he shares of how much damage he negates by shielding; literally anything he does. As for Zyra, literally the same could be implemented and I bet it'd be hella popular skin amongst Zyra players.

Last ARAM game I had the enemy team had a Nidalee, Sivir, Sona, Aurelion Sol and Malzahar. If that's not luck/RNG I dunno what is. Also, I may learn a lot, but I don't think what you learn in ARAM is entirely suitable to apply to Summoner's Rift (which is like, 99.99% of my games).
