It was something like balancing based on stats: Attack speed reduced your base dmg - Attack more offten, but deal less AD and Crit reduced your AS More AP meant more mana cost I dont remember exactly all the stats, but yea. I didn't make him untargetable to help in finishing the dash since it activates after the dash ends and the damage is dealt; however I did include that trait for the purpose of being able to avoid/delay damage that you know is coming, and in certain situations if you anticpate it well and time the dash right it can be very effective, and now that I think about it some more, it is a bit more effective than intended. That being said, your instincts are correct lol, it is a safety net for Feng that helps prevent counterplay...to an extent...; and I will admit that when I think about it some more, I did let my bias towards Feng get the better of me with this ability by making it as long as .5 seconds, especially considering it also has a 5 second cooldown at max rank. Upon reflecting on this I will remove the untargetability; however instead I will make it so that Feng becomes unstoppable during the cast time of his Q and until the damage is dealt. This basically means if he is hit with hard crowd control while using this ability, the ability will not be interrupted and still go through to the target and deal damage, but after the ability ends the crowd control he was affected by will complete its remaining duration. But yes you are right, him being untargetable was giving him too much safety. Thanks for pointing that out and getting me to think of an alternative trait. The change I made to his Q definitely makes more sense, because it makes his engages more reliable; however it also makes it easier for him to be killed after he does get close to a target. I think him being unstoppable also fits with the name "Nimble Slash" a bit more too considering nimble suggests his movement should be quick enough to resist the movement restricting elements of ablities( but still taking the damage) that prevent him from getting to his target. That's better. Seeing that the champion became untargetable instantly made me hate them lole I do Yi and Fizz, but with this switch to Unstoppable I suddenly enjoy this character more now. Hiw weird. Untargetable is just a lazy mechanic and slows game play. Im very happy to see you change to unstoppable. It still fits in the style of nimble fighter as you said which is good for the theme.

Has Riot ever taken an idea from concept and creations for a new champion and put it in game? I think it is safe to guess they have done it from skins considering if enough people like it then it should definitely be put in game. For example Star Guardian Leona and Elemental Nocturne are the two most popular recent ones so there could be a slight chance they put the idea in game, right? On the other hand putting an entire idea for a champion in game that someone came up with on the boards, has riot ever done that before? Just wondering if there is even a 1% chance of it happening and if I should get my hopes up for your VIAL, as well as my champion idea Feng. I have been on the forums since before the boards all the way back on (the now called) Archives. This sounds blunt and downhalearted, but no. Riot does not or will not make any champion concepts off the community forum. They have been doing skins hear and there like Playboy Riven, Frost Booty Shyvana and AstroNaut (waiting for Unprepared Garen for years now), but when it comes to champions it isn't likely to happen. But don't let that put you off making concepts. Riot does silently look on the concept boards, but wont comment. I do remember back in the old days when a very popular idea had a smoke screen ability that reduced vision and a few months later Graves came out. Coincidence? Maybe. Keep up the good ideas though as we as a community like to see new and interesting concepts. I liked the Idea that Feng was centered around moving about and repositioning during a fight. I'll be sure to keep an eye out for you in the future.

Yea. fair point. I was going off the idea like {{champion:60}} or {{champion:126}} how they their R is available. Since you do need to mix two colours it would become available, but you would level it up at the usual times.

: VIAL is a super original champion, and I don't think I have come across a champion idea that is quite as unique as yours. This is an overall awesome idea that would also increase champion diversity. From how the abilities work, there is definitely a high skill ceiling required to have good mastery of VIAL and to really excel in games. I think it's really interesting to have a support that offers the utility it does. I especially like his E that acts as a counter to crowd control and would help in protecting squishies on your team; it reminds me of sorakas ult but instead of healing everyone on your team, it removes crowd control in an area, which in many cases I would rather have something removing hard crowd control like a stun instead of just healing me. {{sticker:sg-ezreal}} He kind of feels like a "reverse Jayce" type of champion. For Jayce his ult(using hammer or cannon) determes his basic abilities, while for VIAL his basic abilities determine what his ult will be. I have three suggestions that I think would help improve the champions gameplay, and viability while staying true to what I think your vision is for VIAL. #**1st :** As you have not gone into the technical specifics of his abilites just yet, such as cooldown, and what certain abilities scale with, I would suggest that each of his 3 basic abilities and each of his ultimate abilities benefit from 3 different stats, in addition to their being an "umbrella" stat that improves all of them to a certain extent. For example: - Q and his Purple ultimate scales/improves the most with attack damage and attack speed - E and his Green ultimate scales/improvesthe most with ability power - W and his Orange ultimate scales/improves the most with Health - I say scale/improve because for some abilities it might just increase the effectiveness of the utility, like more ability power would make the slow on his E last longer or be a stronger slow(or both) - The umbrella stat(similar to how all vlads abilities scale with health) would be all his abilities scale to a less extent with either health or attack damage, not sure which one would be best. If you would like him to have the potential of being a secondary marksman/carry support, kind of like how Miss Fortune and Ashe were in the past for a short time, then you should make all his abilties scale with attack damage and attack speed while making his auto attacks ranged( would also be cool for him being used this way since you have his auto attacks reflect his most recent color cast). If you want him to generally be someone tanky, then have his abilities scale with health. I don't include ability power because his only damaging abilites are his Q, his purple ultimate and orange ultimate and you would especially be using those ultimates for specific reasons aside from damage, and I think it would make more sense if going the damage path to be another sorce of reliable dps rather than acting like a mage like support zyra. Doing this would also make it possible to use him in other lanes, particularly top and jg(might need to give bonuses to damaging abilites to monsters to help his jungle clear) #**2nd:** I think you should make his E part of his ultimate and swap it with his orange ultimate. Having an ability to remove crowd control to multiple allies is super powerful and might make him overpowered as a support if it is on a basic ability, and even if it has a high cooldown. So that their is some counterplay to his ability to basically offer a qss cc removal to every allied champion within range of the ability, having it as an ultimate would allow enemies room to work around that and offer counterplay, while offering a good distinction to good VIAL players who can anticpate when cc will come and have that color combination ready. Also with that change you can make it so that you can use the ability while you are under crowd control affects as well(this might have already been your intention, but I specified this because it didn't specifically say if it can be used while being under hard crowd control like a stun or snare, etc.) That being said, VIAL is a very creative well thought out idea for a champion. This is an awesome idea. {{sticker:slayer-pantheon-thumbs}} At the start of your thread you mentioned a review for a review courtesy. I would be really interested to hear your feedback on the thread I made yesterday for a new ninja assassin champion called Feng. Thank you for the feedback. I've made a few changes to the way Blue works with clearing CC. It now shares movement speed between allies within the zone. If someone has 0 movement (from a snare or stun) and you have 100 movement speed then you will both be given 50 for example. Obviously players have more MS than that, but that's just the concept. So you do break CC, but you also slow you and potentially your allies too. What if it also took some MS from the enemy too?

As a support or really on ANY champion this would make this champ a MUST take into a majority of comps. Then that skills efficienty is reduced. This is why u don't see any champs that have abilities that interact with another unit's mana. I recognized that you focused on each of the colors having its own themes and effects. But that really generalizes its skills, but maybe that is not such a bad thing. I can see what you mean with the "Play with the aspect of paint" and I've made a slight change to Yellow that may help with that. Returning a Review. I voted for Feng. Its a simple name that can be said quickly and is easily remembered. The theme and overall play-style feels like a very nimble and damage dealing (Talon feels very clunky due to his changes). I'm not the best when it comes to numbers and stats for concepts so forgive my review in that part. Passive: I really like this one. It sets up the champion for real teamwork over voice chat. As, I assume, only Feng can see the outlines (like {{champion:421}} sonar pulse) it can help to hunt down or prevent ambush if the enemy is within range. Unless the character has some kind of magic or smokescreen in there theme. E: A lot of mobility here. Can this dash clear terrain? If yes there is a lot of roaming potential here. I'm not sure how long 400 range is, but I'd assume that's enough to clear the smaller walls? If Shadow surge cannot clear terrain however you still have the stacks for multiple dashes. R: I see the term Invisibility here and I'm okay with this. The synergy with E and W better. This ult is to enable Feng to express his full potential. Would the blades from R last longer than the standard W blades?

: I really like the concept, easy to learn/hard to master combos and a neat design to boot. However, I am going to suggest some changes: ***Passive*** Nothing to change here. Unique and interesting. I love it! ***The Q*** does damage AND gives your ally an attack boost. For one, at the very least, it should not give Vial a boost. However the attack boost mechanic as a whole would be pretty hard to balance. I would consider either making this Ally Cast/Enemy Cast as a point and click ablilty (and you could be able to target yourself with the boost), or removing the attack boost and possibly replacing it with a speed boost or maybe some armor/mr instead. What I think would be interesting would be a point and click on an enemy, but minions and other teammates could intercept it (like a Caitlyn ult, only shorter range and can be blocked by any creature. Oh, and obviously not a 1 second cast time). ***The W*** has a fairly good ally cast. The enemy cast, however is a bit confusing. For one, as Eponine9 above me pointed out, the trail left behind might not be big enough to be a concern in a fight. What I personally would love to see this as could be a silence instead, and the enemy be able to move around freely but leave a trail behind them similar to Nocturne that instead slows their allies by a fair amount of MS. This could be a great mind game. The enemy champion would have to choose to either go in without the team for a couple seconds, or stand still and let their team go without them. Ha! ***The E*** seems just straight up OP. Removes CC *and* slows enemies? Instead, since I like your idea, allies who are CC'ed by enemies within this AOE get 30% plus 5% more per point in the ablilty CC reduction. Enemies in this zone (excluding any who were already CC'ed when you activate the ability) are given 20% plus 3 or 5% per point longer CC. ***The R*** is a really well fleshed out concept. The only thing I will say about it is to have Orange be specified as True Sight. Otherwise, amazing ability! Sorry if any of this seemed like I was gutting your concept, but I imagined playing as and against this character, and for the enemy this concept would not be fun at all to deal with. I thought I might submit my opinions on how to improve these ablilties, and I hope I did well. I leave you with this: From an artistic standpoint, this is a really great concept. From a gameplay standpoint, if done correctly, this is an exceptional concept. I would really love to see this out on the Rift someday. I await your response!

I like the idea of drawing envy from people people rather than being envious itself, but Im not as big a fan of the 'the wife of someone important' aspect. There are more ways to make people envious than just "Oh I do wish it were me married to the high ranking Man". What if this demon killed and replaced an individual, assuming their identity and doing everything they can to be the best at what they do. A guard that taunts the prisoners who are envious of his freedom. A beautiful woman that those less so wish they were. A rich fat man buying all the food, eating it in front of the poor leaving none for them. If you wanted to run with the sexy demon lady that last example could work too. A fine woman that can eat and eat and not gain weight would certainly cause most other women to have a reaction (though I'm not sure if it would be necessarily envy)

: Relic shield line needs some serious changes
Hows this: Nearbly allies will mark minions they auto attack. Marked minions can be executed if Relic sheild has charges. This way it sets up teamwork. Ally marks minion, support executes minion.

It sure is. I got popstar Ahri and Academy Ahri from re rolls. I guess i should play Ahri. I don't really play slippery mages.
: What do you do as support when you get paired with a bullheaded ADC?
A little story from the other night. I was Nami supporting Xahya. They weren't the best. That's okay though, we cant all be great at adc. But it got to the point where they just kept being nuked and I couldn't help her. So I said sorry and left to support Volibear (jungle) and Ekko (mid). Our top Tryn rage quit at 30 min, but we won in the end. It took us to 56 min, but we did it. As a suppprt, I identified that the adc was not contributing to the team. So I shifted priorities to ensure mid and jungle could carry. Don't be afraid to leave your adc, but please apologize to them too.

Might be Shyvana and not vi. Vi has Neon Strike. This them looks pretty similar.
