When a Shaco attacks you, it is ENTIRELY auto attacks, until his Shiv, which does fuck all damage until 2-3 items and level 9+ The fact you think Q does damage just shows how out of touch you are with the game, and have no say in the matter. : Assuming you know how to use your yellow trinkets, you can pretty much avoid J4's ganks a lot more often than Shaco's stealthed ganks. Also, you literally compared a tanky bruiser to an Assassin. Of course you might say "but he can build full AD including Duskblade", but here's the catch. His EQ is his ONLY mobility, and a glass cannon J4 is seriously squishy af. Juke out his EQ combo, and you're free to harass him down. Shaco on the other hand is a tricky type of champion who utilizes his quick Flash/Stealth ability, combined with pre-planned box around him. Also his ult can be quite deceptive at common times.

Shaco on the other hand is a tricky type of champion who utilizes his quick Flash/Stealth ability, combined with pre-planned box around him. Also his ult can be quite deceptive at common times. Shaco Q is his only mobility you nerd. Glass Cannon Shaco is even more squishy. Early game, there is a huge fucking difference in damage and gank potential. Explain to me any situation that you can use a ward to avoid j4 gank but not a Shaco gank. I'll show you exactly how you're wrong. Theres a single path that allows him to jump further from bot river that will let him reach the middle of the lane. Every other time he will jump over a wall be revealed before his stealth wears out, making him just as effective as J4 EQ.

Ward vision range is much larger than that, and that's not even considering the time it takes for him to reach you in lane. So he ganks over walls, EXACTLY as J4 does with swag flag drag.

Likewise, if you wait until your 14-day ban to **start** reforming you don't get to blame it on not getting enough chances. You can dodge in two ways. Predictive or Reactive. Reactive - I see where its going and I quickly dodge. Predictive - 'I expect that they are going to throw it here, so I will move as soon as I see the animation' Reactive is obviously better, but my reactions are pretty poor, I dodge most of it because I expect where the enemy is going to aim it and when.

I'm not, IP bans are stupid because of the reasons you mentioned. My stance is very anti-permanent so I won't ever really advocate for IP. Does it really deserve the same level of discipline as someone saying "kill all blacks"? The two are clearly not equal. While both are wrong, they certainly don't deserve the same punishment. I've seen a few times (OCE is\was a pretty toxic place) people who begin to be mildly rude/toxic accelerate into hate speech because they know they will lose their account so they have the "in for a penny, in for a pound" mindset. Decieve is 400. You can still see where he went if he is in range of you.
: Most permabans are Manual. They most likely look at the whole account and the recent reports. I don't think they would care about how many games they played. If you are contantly getting reported and restrictions, it is only a matter of time before they pull the plug on your account. They used to have a program. It didn't work and they got rid of it.

So they should be able to see the gradual positive change in your behaviour. The problem with their current system is the 4 tiers of punishment aren't a similar system to the legal system. Legal system has rules, and minimum and maximum punishments for if you break those rules. Depending on how severe your breakage is, determines your punishment. Cry-It's current punishment system is more binary. They have rules, and then they have 4 punishments. A ~~red~~ robot looks at the account and asks "Did they break rules?" If yes, you get +1 punishment tier. If no, you get +0 punishment tier. The problem is simple. If a red looks at your account and sees that you have made a huge improvement (no more hate speech, no more put downs) after your ban, but you are still a little salty and rude, they have no choice but to tick the "Yes still toxic" box and take away your account. > I don't think they would care about how many games they played. If you are Toxic Terry and get your 14 day ban, but then show reformed behavior by playing 200 games without issue, surely one mental snap should result in permanent loss of account, especially if you continue after that game by being a positive summoner. > If you are contantly getting reported and restrictions, it is only a matter of time before they pull the plug on your account. So the summoner just makes a new account and jumps straight into the game, except this time they are pissed off and have a vendetta. A new attitude, "Haha Can't stop me Riot, I will show you." There is no encouragement for reform, which is the issue. > They used to have a program. It didn't work and they got rid of it. I've played since Season 2 and don't ever recall that program being around. They had the honor system which was pretty much "You give me an honor, and I will give you one".

: You should agree to reform after your first punishment. After your third you have show time and time again that you are not willing to reform.

After your third you have show time and time again that you are not willing to reform. Not at all. A lot of people in game, and more broadly, in life don't realize just how serious the consequences of their actions are until they are at the end. Speeding is a fine example. The state we live in has a golden point rule and is incredibly effective at fixing dangerous drivers. You get demerit points for being naughty, and when you run out of them you lose your license. You are then offered a deal. Lose your license now for (X) months, or you get a single point for the next 12 months, and if you lose it, you lose your license for 2(X) months. A huge problem with unwanted behavior is the habit. This system forces the driver to continuously and consciously make sure that they are in no risk. During the first month or two of being on this "golden point", their every thought is about following the road rules as best they can. After a while it becomes second nature. As someone who has lost many accounts to toxicity, I can say that chat restrictions are a damned joke. They do nothing. Everyone just sees them as a minor inconvenience, and I'd argue that they actually increase toxicity. People are going to be more frustrated when they can't type, so when they are finally allowed to talk, they have an outburst, worse than what the original one would be. Over the course of my accounts, especially the last few.. my behavior has dramatically improved. I used to be terrible, but now I am much more tame. Until you are told "this is your final warning" and you have a constant reminder of that, it is very hard to break the habit of being rude. Why does nearly every legal system in the world encourage reform and rehabilitation, rather than just punishing bad behavior? Anyone who takes Psych 101 could tell you that positive reinforcement is better and more effective than negative.

: Did you not get a 14 day ban with a warning that the next punishment would be a permaban?
> [{quoted}](name=EvilDustMan,realm=NA,application-id=ZGEFLEUQ,discussion-id=y5RcEwYb,comment-id=0002,timestamp=2017-03-31T12:38:28.026+0000) > > Did you not get a 14 day ban with a warning that the next punishment would be a permaban? But to some, this could be reformed. Picture this. If you spout some pretty abusive/offensive stuff and get the 14 day ban. You agree that its time to change and you start to lower your profanity and avoid racial slurs. You still complain a bit and are a little bit rude, but it is a huge first step. You get permanently banned and lose quite a lot of time and effort because of "stfu". Hardly seems right. Permabans should ALL be manually done, and should involve looking at the total account instead of just the current offense. They should compare the actions of the 14 day ban with the actions of the new event. If some steps have been made to reform, it should just be another 14 day ban and forced educational material. People on the whole would not read much, or not take it seriously, but most people don't realize how easy it is to go from 14 days to permaban.

Telling someone to shut up shouldn't result in loss of account. This is the internet, not preschool.
: can we not gut shaco?
As I explained in a previous post of mine, the don't understand where his damage comes from. They've nerfed almost everything about him in the last few patches, but his winrate never changes. They don't know what they are doing, so they will just throw mindless changes at it until his winrate drops.
: So, why does Ivern get free buffs for his team?
Riot don't care about Ivern because he isn't invisble.
: ADCs don't have that much of a problem against other ADCs since they both 3 shot eachother and there's no real time for that liftsteal to build up. It's tanky healing champions like {{champion:50}} that you only need it against. Again, Morello's you don't even have to buy if all you're getting it for is grevious wounds against ADCs since they're gonna get bursted by you as a mage. Only get it vs people you can't straight up burst down before they have the 2 seconds to liftsteal {{champion:8}} {{champion:2}} {{champion:266}} {{champion:36}} {{champion:11}} {{champion:23}} {{champion:16}}

Juggernauts, Divers, Wardens and bruisers have dick bupkis.

: Shaco nerfs, and overall thoughts on Shaco in current meta.
They are just fucking worthless, and have always despised Shaco because of his infuriating playstyle. Whenever he is doing well, they will nerf him until he is underplayed and borderline unviable. Such is the way for so many years.
