: Lyte was mentioned in Ezreal's old lore if i remember correctly. And the tip refers to Ezreal's uncle Lyte. I believe it's exclusive to ARAM. Also, it's entirely possible Lyte is short for Lymere, Lyte could literally just be a nick name. ANd furthermore, it's confirmed by a Rioter as well: http://forums.na.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?t=3335703&page=12#post36822798 Do you not have short versions of names in Oceania?

Actually, there was a plan to do some VO for the SR shopkeepers many years ago, but it had to be put aside. I only remember the Blue Side shopkeeper's stuff. Remember - because this didn't go live, this is NOT OFFICIAL. It may never be! Her name was Yuba. She seems like a typical, kindly, old, shopkeeper, except secretly she's a mostly retired con-woman/catburgler. She knows very well how most of the items she sells works, where she got them (legally or less-so), and she's straight to the point about how this is about gold. Her getting gold, specifically. You're unlikely to pull a fast one on Yuba.

: Not every legendary skin has extreme changes to their animations.

Dark Cosmic Jhin has some pretty neat changes on their animations for their auto attacks, q, walking and ult. Odyssey Kayn has a cool Q animation, his auto attack on assassin feel slick and his ult animation is up there as well his W and E. Battle Boss Veigar is 5 years old and those animations are sublime and his recall is connected too. Hell, even Star Guardian Jinx felt like a legendary, and they just made simple animations of her Q autos, W and ult. I think Pyke deserved waaaay better. Did you read the PBE boards about the skin? There was so much great ideas about adding animations on his home guard like riding the snake, or connecting the recall better and even a rioter read these ideas and said they’ll talk about it to the rest of the team behind the skins. Aaand they never did. Unless they’re planning to do more on the next patch like with morg and kayle’s skins, his price should be between 1350 and 1820, because it’s not a full legendary skin.

That’s my take tho.
: There's several references in here, the most prominent being to Pyke and Warwick (listen to the beginning). I can hear some slight callbacks to Jinx and Akali as well. It's at least a little better-crafted than you give it credit for.

Wasn’t hearing the call backs to Jinx, Akali and Warwick (tho I don’t actually know Warwick’s theme off by heart so I might listen to that first). Though sometimes you don’t necessarily need to add all of the other champ’s theme to make it good. I mean, PROJECT hunter only added Jhin’s theme as part of the drop section, but the rest was pretty original. I wouldn’t mind if it was basically Pyke remix with added sombre sections representing his memories and torture, just to make it more effective, rather than just adding bits and pieces of each champ’s theme.

But you might as well stick to a Moba Format XD. Not Overwatch. I don’t want it to be a competitive game, like Overwatch or Smite. A multiplayer game, or along the lines of a role playing game, Borderlands and Tom Clancy’s Division 2 comes to mind in terms of multiplayer, but there’s better comparisons out there.

We don't know why exactly Lee Sin got a VO update, *however*, given that he isn't being VGU'd any time soon, nor was he a candidate for such, it seems like the only logical reason would be due to Mignogna's legal troubles. If so, expect Malzahar to receive the same treatment.

Hi, they were actually released a while back. It was apparently a Russian only event and each chapter was revealed when a quest was complete. Oh also, since it was only a Russian event, the chapters are of course Russian and there is no official English translation yet, so the wiki's translation has a few mistakes. https://leagueoflegends.fandom.com/wiki/Keeper_of_Dreams

: Its a weird thing really, they never reuse their older products when it comes to special events/game modes. They take an eternity to even think about re using their previous creations, god knows why. It almost feels like they'd have to redo it all over again from scratch ( in terms of coding ). Or as if they forget to save the templates or something.

Or as if they forget to save the templates or something. Well they did bring back maps like Butcher’s Bridge with Pyke’s release and during the rotating game mode weekends, with the blood moon game mode with its map too, so they do have the assets stored somewhere. Either it’s gonna be released live or they’re just gonna leave it as it is :/

: Because that encourages short trades, rather thant the long trades she's known for. Akali's problem isn't that enemies don't have a window to punish her, her shroud cooldown already accomplishes that. Her problem is that she only really needs one item to pop off, so you can't really shut her down in the laning phase. The changes on RiotRepertoir's Twitter look great. They open up a lot of room to improve her, maybe add the heal back to her kit somewhere.

Again, compare that to Tristana who has explosions in the background. It’s an action shot, she just blew something up and she just rocket jump away. You can see the trail. It’s interesting too. Here it just feels weird. Like something is missing.

In Dota 2 Its a rock, paper, scissors kinda thing. Strength heroes beats agility heroes, agility beats intelligence and intelligence beats strength. You have to balance your team with assortments of heroes. Each round a random assortment of heroes will be available. You can pay to "reroll" them so you can find what hero for your team. You fight ai controlled enemies for the first few waves, getting gold and experience and grind your heroes and give them items. After a few waves, you then fight other people for 1-2 waves and then back to grinding again. That's all I can remember from watching 1 auto chess video so don't count my word on it.

The lore updates are fine and all but my example with the frozen watchers, it’s been 6 years since they were truly revealed and Lissandra as well. Yet we’ve only just gotten a retcon and update on them recently and they still haven’t returned. Bilgewater was 4 years ago since the burning of Gangplanks ship, yet we have no update on the aftermath other than the harrowing tale which I have no idea if it’s still canon or not. Taliyah and shuriman events were 3 years ago. Sylas and Demacia is recent so I’ll give them that. I understand it is a slow process, but some of these have been out for nearly a few years. We might even wait a bit longer because of new champions might retcon things again. I definitely agree with novels. There’s a lot of things that could be explained as a book.

Though we do know the true fact that she’s self titled empress, this doesn’t explains why you guys chose an explosion as a background of the splash, rather than using a jungle background. Even if its based on her story/bio is about destroying something, it would still be poor, giving that she’s just doing a fashion pose, where others like Tris or Jinx splash arts feel much more alive, and they’re pretty much explosive characters.

: If I had to guess the reason they didn't go with some headdress or the like, its because they wanted her to be grounded firmly in the elements. It looks like her kit will possibly have to do with the environment, as the elements represented on her weapon are earth, plant, and water. To that end, they probably didn't want something feathery that has more to do with the sky or is reminiscent of the mesoamerican god Quetzalcoatl (the Aztec name), which would be more god-like and more associated with the sky and less grounded. That said, I feel like they could have done something more interesting with her hair. There are so many mesoamerican hairstyles that they could have at least drawn inspiration from. If they didn't want to pin Qiyana to any one geographic culture, they also could have drawn inspiration from the many many surrounding cultures from both North and South America, many of which were heavily influenced by mesoamerican culture. Like the Inca to the south or the Pueblo tribes to the north.

I also still think minimal tribal body/face paint could do wonders for her too. I'm just really disappointed in this design.

Radiant was put back in the Lunar Revel Series again for some reason a while back though.
