: Excuse me, is it possible that you know how to do this on a Mac?
Unfortunately I do not. Sorry :c
: Where do you find the skin files to work on in Photoshop? I want to give making a custom skin a try. Any help would be much appreciated.
If you download Skin Installer Ultimate (google it first result) and use the ==Skin Creation== tab, you can find all the game files under the RAF folder heirarchy, you can then tick the boxes next to the skins (they're .dds files) you want to edit and exporting them, you'll need to download a photoshop addon to edit .dds files though if I remember correctly. Have fun~

I have no idea, sorry D:
: Can you put up a link for the Zac one please? <3 In think, Riot _is_ putting a lot of effort into these, but the effort isn't worth it. It's like the Riot store. The items there, at first glance, are incredibly over-priced. But, the reason they're so expensive is because Riot went all the way with the materials, and quality, even though a vast majority of people would just like a plain cotton jacket or a plastic factory-made figurine, just so they can pay what they view as a reasonable price. tl;dr Riot puts too much effort into re-colors. Upload the blue Zac. plz tyvm
Here you go: http://puu.sh/h6QlQ/77ab6d6066.rar Keep in mind though that this one really is a hack job, I literally only edited the main body part because my friend asked for that, just so I could show it or something? I'm not sure how it will act with his spells, like at all.

If you just mess around for a while you should figure it out ^^

: Hjello OP, could you tell me where I can find on my PC the texture files and if it's possible to get the original back or I must backup it all? (I guess I could just delete them if I don't like them and they'd just be redownloaded at next patch). Also, any public domain software to do it? I could do some silly crap on MS Paint just for dem lolz, but it's not a very viable solution.

As for software... I'm not really sure since I've only used Photoshop CS6, sorry :C Gimp should work

(assuming you didn't back it up) It does not. ^^ Because I used Skin Installer Ultimate to install it, I can (did) just uninstall it by clicking a button, and poof it's back to normal~ When you export files with SIU it's not moving the actual files, it's creating copies that you can edit to your liking.

Not sure if sarcasm... In any case, nope. Why would I charge for it, do I look like Riot? If you really want it, here's a download link: http://puu.sh/h5IVn/7f07577fb2.rar Just download that, unzip and drag the file into the ==Add New Skin== tab of Skin Installer Ultimate. Hit "OK", "I am done adding files, finalize this skin.", name it whatever you want, click "OK" again, tick the box next to the skin you just installed and press Install, and it should work. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to link things here, but the site to download Skin Installer Ultimate should be the first result if you google it, it's a sites.google page.

: Wait though.. I understand very well that skins themselves are a massive rip-off, let alone re-colors, but I'm not sure that I understand your post. Are you saying that you hopped into photoshop and simply re-colored a static image? Isn't this very different than programming a skin that is going to move, interact with the environment, dance, taunt, etc? I don't think that it would be very much work either way, but I think what you did is simpler than what Riot is doing, if I understand correctly.

Yes I edited an image in photoshop, but no, this is probably exactly the same way Riot will be recolouring their chromas. The chroma "skins" are just going to be colour differences, no model differences.
