IF YOUR COMPUTER GOES TO SLEEP, THE CLIENT DISCONNECTS, WHICH IS FINE, EXCEPT...

YOU BRING YOUR COMPUTER BACK FROM SLEEP, AND IT GIVES YOU A MESSAGE SAYING THE CLIENT COULD NOT RECONNECT. THAT'S FINE. BUT, THEN THE CLIENT SHUTS ITSELF DOWN, AND YOU CANNOT RESTART THE CLIENT, BECAUSE A COPY OF "LEAGUE OF LEGENDS" IS STILL RUNNING AS A BACKGROUND PROCESS. YOU CAN TRY TO RESTART THE CLIENT, BUT IT WILL NOT RESTART. YOU HAVE TO USE TASK MANAGER TO SHUT DOWN THE BACKGROUND PROCESS, OR ELSE YOU CAN'T RESTART THE CLIENT. IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME, SIMPLY OPEN THE CLIENT, WALK AWAY FOR ABOUT 30 MINUTES AND LET YOUR COMPUTER GO TO SLEEP, COME BACK AND YOU'LL SEE THE MESSAGE SAYING "CLIENT COULD NOT RECONNECT", IT SHUTS DOWN, NOW TRY TO RESTART IT... IT WILL NOT START. THEN CHECK TASK MANAGER, AND YOU'LL SEE A LEAGUE OF LEGENDS BACKGROUND PROCESS STILL RUNNING. FORCEABLY CLOSE THAT PROCESS, AND NOW YOU'LL BE ABLE TO RESTART THE CLIENT. THIS BUG HAS EXISTED FOR AS LONG AS THE NEW CLIENT HAS BEEN AROUND, SO AT LEAST A YEAR NOW. I'VE REPORTED IT MANY TIMES. IT'S 100% REPEATABLE AND HAPPENS 100% WITHOUT FAIL IF YOUR COMPUTER GOES TO SLEEP. HOWEVER, iF YOU SHUT DOWN THE CLIENT ANY OTHER WAY, SUCH AS BY CLICKING THE "X" BUTTON TO SHUT IT DOWN, THEN IT DOES NOT LEAVE THE PROCESS RUNNING. IT IS ********ONLY******* WHEN IT SHUTS DOWN VIA THE COMPUTER GOING TO SLEEP AND/OR BY THE CLIENT BEING UNABLE TO RECONNECT, THAT THIS PROBLEM OCCURS. I AM USING WINDOWS 10 HOME.
