How does Qiyana use the river element on ARAM or 3v3 ?

I just saw the new champion's abilities revealed and i'm asking myself how will she "take" the river/water element with her W, on maps without river ? i just thought about ARAM and TT firsthand, but what about other rotating modes too ? Nexus Blitz, Ascension etc etc... Or is she a Summoner's Rift only champion ? {{sticker:sg-poppy}}
