Yeah, she has the whole~~ foxgirl ~~ fox**lady** thing on point - but that's just it. I've watched a ton of anime, and their female characters are almost always extremely shy and get incredibly embarrassed at the mention of anything romantic, or assertive and loud (but still get incredibly embarrassed when it comes to romance). Really the only anime that comes to mind where a female character owns her sexuality and weaponizes it like Ahri does is Lust from FMA:B.
Anime can have 13-17 year old foxgirls. Ahri is a 27+ grown foxlady, so the only connection she has to anime influences is a superficial one.
